I've been going to this shop for years. I've always had a tremendous experience. Today, I stopped and got my usual. Service was friendly, kind, inviting, and personable, as it always is. Atmosphere remains the same: hip, industrial, and welcoming. I love the fact that the coffee here is as fresh as it can get. You can definitely taste the difference. You can also see it with your own eyes when you enter the shop, as there is an abundance of fresh coffee everywhere. You can't go wrong with the latte. This is what keeps me coming back. I'm sorry, but I wasn't impressed at all. With such high ratings, I expected some out-of-this-world coffee. I ordered an Iced Mocha Latte (~$7) and it left much to be desired. Espresso was weak and grainy. Maybe I ordered the wrong drink, maybe it was an off day...? I do like that they offer single-origin coffee with various flavor profiles. They also roast and grind their beans for each individual cup. But the latte I had just wasn't it for me. The interior is cozy, but way too small for private conversations or for working. There's only one large table for groups and a few bar stools along the window. I won't be going out of my way to try again, especially since it's on one of the most congested highways in NJ... route 17. Maybe if I'm in the area. read more

Exceptional coffee, fantastic healthy snack options, great service. You know it's a bookmark-able place when in the first 5 minutes of opening on a quiet Sunday morning, 4 airline aircrews, 2 paramedics, 3 policemen, and 10 other customers line up for coffee. Their unique "schtich" is to offer coffees from around the word. I selected the P'ng from Papau New Guinea and it was smooth, dark, rich, and low-acidic. Also recommend the date bars made with chia and nutmeg. These tasted so good we ended up buying up all their stock. They also offer bulk roasted beans to take home. The bakery items are baked their and my husband and I each got an item which both of us truly enjoyed. Husband enjoyed his Ethiopian coffee; and I REALLY loved my iced latte with oatmeal which was very needed this morning. Cute establishment if you are looking for a place to unwind. 4 stars for the quick bites - plain croissant + raspberry coffee cake were really tasty. I have never been to a coffee shop that didn't have at least a breakfast option, aside from the limited number of pastries they had. 3 stars for our lattes- y'all, I really hate to mess up the crazy good steak going for this place, but I really was not impressed with our vanilla lattes. The coffee they use didn't seem to shine through on this one. I wouldn't even say it's a matter of opinion, because I always leave some room for forgiveness here. The espresso was just terribly weak. (Can we all give a collective "thank you!" to the Ethiopian goat herder, Kaldi, whose curious and hungry goat decided to nibble on a very specific red berry which would eventually lead to that beverage most of us enjoy on a daily basis?) On my very first visit I was floored with just how good this place smelled. It's just oozing with all those amazing aromas from the beans being toasted, boasted, ghosted and... well, "roast'd". After the nose-overload now my eyes were absorbing the aesthetics - from the artwork to the books to the tables to all that serious equipment behind the counter. This place is legit. The various staff that have helped the handful of times I've visited are always friendly and professional, acting like apothecaries as they tinker with all those gadgets and do-hickeys to create my Americano and you know what? It's so damn good. It ain't cheap (for a cup or a pound of whole beans) and it's a bit out of the way... two reasons I don't make it here all that often. But... it's most excellent, regardless. If you happen to drive by the area and need to grab a cup of really good coffee this was worth the detour. You have other coffee shops like Starbucks, dunkins and etc. here is the thing. You can throw a rock and hit the other establishments. This is a very unique yet traditional coffee shop. Freshly ground assortment of beans and a helpful guide picking out exactly what your pallet is looking for. Ample parking out front with a very nice atmosphere sitting inside if you choose too. If you love the coffee selection you won't be disappointed that you won't be able to have it again since you can purchase a bag to go. Pro's - I really enjoyed their Legender bean and it was great for espresso. Con's - I've been buying their Legender beans online for many months, maybe about 2 bags a month. The last time I bought the beans, it took 3 weeks to receive the beans. I usually don't mind delays but they never responded to any of my emails or any of my calls as to the status of my order. I even emailed one of the owners and still no response so I've stopped ordering my beans from them. read more

Coffee Lovers Paradise- Finally got to visit, Roasted Coffee. This gem of a coffee bar is a coffee lovers paradise. The aroma of roasted coffee beans is divine. The decor is very inviting. No lines, laid back, chill type of place. Service is excellent, the two ladies working the counter were very nice, explained the different coffee beans that they have from Brazil, Colombia, and various parts of Africa. Learned something new, never knew Africa grew coffee beans. I ordered a regular decaf coffee which was roasted coffee beans via Brazil. It was very nice to watch how the coffee is prepared as you wait. All the various snacks are health conscious, which is excellent. The offer a variety of creams such which includes dairy but also plant based almond milk, and oat milk, which is excellent. They have various sweeteners, and not just regular white sugar. I loved the price of my medium cup of coffee, way less than chain coffee places. Hours: They close early on weekdays at 4pm. Weekends they are open until 8pm. Parking: Plentiful. Finally managed to visit Roast'd Coffee and I had to ask myself WHY NOT SOONER?! Everyone here is so passionate and knowledgeable about coffee. They were so nice and helpful as well - answering all the questions we had. Drip coffee is the only way that coffee should be made. Just perfect. I bought some of the beans home. I got the Nicaraguan - Happy. It is really delicious. I make drip coffee at home and this is so smooth and refreshing. I definitely recommend coffee lovers to try this place out. The beans are actually priced really well. I usually get my beans from Whole Foods and the prices are comparable. They also freshly roast the coffee there, so if you need you can get beans within that 7-day freshness range. read more

What a beautiful coffee in the NJ area... it is tiny and hidden and just the way I like my coffee shops. They are roasters which means they know the actual difference between single origin, single farm, Burundi, Ethiopian, Kenyan coffees... They are simple in just offering the best pour over coffees that range from dark roast to the most beautiful light roast. I loved the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe... It is a beautiful floral with a distinct lemon carry till the end. It's so light that it almost felt like i was drinking tea. The Burundi was chocolatey and carried nice nutty undertones. This will be my go to coffee place in the area. The barista is well knowledges and extremely friendly and kind. I will be back! read more

Great place. I got the 20 oz. fruit blend iced tea and the avocado smash. The total was $12. The iced tea was a little fruity, only sliiightly sweet since they don't add a lot of sugar or any syrup. The avocado smash was amazing--I can't recommend it enough. It's one of their only actual food items though, they mostly have brownies and cookies to eat. The feta and olive oil on the avocado smash made it taste very fresh. In general, they make everything from scratch so it does have a long wait time. I was the only customer and it took 15+ minutes to make my food which is why I'm knocking off a star. There's not a huuuge amount of variety but I'd definitely come back for the smash. read more

If you are a coffee lover then look no further ! This place has everything you need and more. Their cold brew is amazing and even their hot coffee is good, it's a little too strong for my palette but I love it! The owners are very nice and friendly people and upon asking can recommend some of the best coffee based on your liking! I usually stop by this place for their avocado toast which is to die for and their banana bread. Their banana bread is the real deal guys, I have never had such fresh banana bread in my life. Also it's not too sweet and just perfect! The one complaint I have is they only sell avocado toast Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings which is very disappointing and sometimes they do run out of the ingredients quickly. Holy Koffee! I love this place. Ever since I drove by and saw their sign, I've been wanting to get here. It's only been recently that I've made my way in and immediately fell in love. The place is small. Right off Route 17, you can easily miss it. Parking is limited but people come and go constantly so that's never a problem. Walking in, you're greeted by a nicely decorated coffee shop. There is only bar seating looking out the front window and a big table in the middle. They offer many different kinds of coffee but both times I was there, I was there for their cold brews. The first time I tried out their nitro cold brew while my friend had their coconut cold brew. LET. ME. TELL. YOU. If you're a coconut lover like us treat yourself and get the largest size possible BECAUSE IT IS BOMB AF. I crave this cold brew constantly. CONS. TANT. LY. They also offer some things to munch on like banana bread and some pastries (which I believe are homemade by the owner). All their cold brews are also made by the owner and you can tell the amount of love they put in their product. I wish this place was along my route to work, but alas it is not.
