Great food and amazing lattes! Can't wait to come back here to try their waffles and/or pancakes! The food was delicious and filling. Me and my friend decided to split the meals and agreed it was well prepared and tasted great! The latte did it for me not overly sweet at all! Service was quick ! Vivian was so sweet and patient! Cute small space so if you can make reservations!
We found this place on yelp and has decent hope of the food and service. We ordered starvin Marvin, smashed burger, and mangu sliders. Starvin Marvin was very subpar, the potatoes were deep fried and too tough, French toast was bad no taste (some burnt, some under cooked), syrup was standard store bought, over easy eggs were oily and for $21, this plate was a dissapoinment. The mangu slider was delicious, I guess it's their speciality in this place as most guests ordered this dish. We ordered two coffees, with cream and sugar but came without any spoon, so we used dining fork. No one offer the refill when the cups were empty (but they charge $4 for bottomless coffee), so you had to flag them. They have many staff working for the size of the place but they seemed to have very inexperience servers, despite they are nice and courteous. I am still eating, they cleared all other plates. My husband was drinking the coffee, they took away the saucer. I think they need to train the staff for better service especially your price is on the higher side for breakfast. The place is small but acceptable, they open the doors but wish they have better air circulating system if they decide not to use the ceiling fans or AC.
This brunch café was so good I literally ate every single bite -- no leftovers, no regrets. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You know it's a win when the table goes quiet because everyone's too busy enjoying their food. It's also the perfect spot to catch up with friends. The atmosphere is relaxed but lively, so you can actually talk, laugh, and enjoy your time without feeling rushed. Great food, great vibes, and a great place to make memories. Definitely adding this to the regular rotation.
We picked this for a weekend lunch. The restaurant looks so pretty from the outside with its beautiful floral exterior. It gets its name from the intersection of two streets, Summer and Autumn, so cool. The inside of the restaurant is also cozy, the space is not huge, so there's some wait time during peak hours. We were lucky to get a table within few minutes. Food wise I had ordered the chicken and waffle. The chicken was overcooked that made the fried layer super thick. The waffle was okay. The kid's pancake with whip cream was decent. The staff members were really friendly. The food took some time to come out. They had also forgot to bring the tea to the table. Some minor lapses but overall they had decent service.

Kids menu silver dollar pancakes are appealing and colorful with fruits and whipped cream. Lovely restaurant for family or friends hangout.
Came here on a weekend for brunch. It was snowing out, so luckily we were seated very promptly. I ordered the Challah French Toast which came with toppings of berries and banana. I thought it was good, but the bread wasn't as fluffy as I'd like.

From speaking to the hostess she was kind (probably in high school/ early college age) and I just asked if I can walk in to order at the front. Before she let me in, there was another couple ahead of me waiting to be seated. The hostess did let them know the few open tables they had were reserved already so there maybe a 15-20 min wait till another table was ready. The male shift manager came out to assess the situation and was ultimately rude to his own employee telling her to sit the couple regardless if the tables had reservations in the next hour. His attitude was not pleasant and the reason I bring up the hostess's age was because all the front staff on that Sunday seemed to be a bunch of younger women (seems to me he thinks he can just boss them around). I tried both their coquito and tres leches ice lattes and all I have to say is WAY TOO SWEET. Didn't taste any coffee whatsoever and it was just overbearingly sweet for $8-9. With that being said, although I didn't try the food, I don't want to be supporting a local business that's rude to its staff and unfortunately the coffee is also not enough to give the cafe a second chance.

First off, whoever had the brilliant idea to create a tres golpes slider is nothing short of a culinary genius--the flavors were simply incredible! The tomato soup was delightful as well. On my first visit, I enjoyed a variety of boards, which were equally impressive. We're already planning our next trip to explore more of the menu. I highly recommend this place, but trust me--make a reservation! If you don't, be prepared to wait at least an hour!
This is a cool cozy brunch spot hidden in the middle of no where. They do have a parking lot across the street. We went on a Monday morning when it wasn't too packed but as we left the place started to fill up. The servers were friendly and quick. I got the omelete and it was huge. I paired it with the dulce latte. It was really good and good too fast. The omelete is packed with potato and vegetables so I had to get it with cheese to liven up the dish. The eggs Benedict was good too. They were able to substitute for turkey bacon. I felt that it could be a little more crispy. The prices were fair for the portion size.

Hidden gem in Lodi NJ serving breakfast brunch and lunch. Cute atmosphere, lovely service, and great coffee and portions. We kept it simple with eggs potatoes and breakfast bacon and sausage.
I really liked this spot!!! Came here for a double date breakfast and we all loved our food. I ended up getting the mangu sliders and they were SOOOO good. Definitely different , glad I tried it. Their french toast looked amazing! Everyone enjoyed their food with no complaints. If I am in the area, I would definitely stop by again. Portions are great for the price as well. The spot itself is really cute and has outdoor seating if the weather is nice.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the host at Summer and Autumn Cafe and were seated immediately in the back, which has a cozy, low-key, and intimate vibe with an open kitchen. Their menu is retrievable by scanning the QR code or a paper with many excellent options for breakfast, lunch, or brunch on weekends. We decided on the Meat Lover's Omelette, Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese, and Starvin' Marvin. We washed our meal with Iced Latte and regular Iced Coffee. Each order is cooked at the time of ordering, making it so that one's food is fresh out of the kitchen when served. Our food was plated beautifully and tasted great. The entire staff was polite and provided an excellent experience. Our server, Elianna was friendly and accommodating. The owner, Bill is very present and checks every table where we made small talk. Cute breakfast/brunch spot located in a quiet neighborhood. Food was delicious. I ordered the Starvin' Marvin with the tres leche French toast, every bite was tasty. Bacon was crisp well, potatoes were nicely seasoned and crisp, over easy eggs were perfectly cooked and the tres leche French toast was a yummy sweet addition to the plate. I also ordered the coquito latte - so yummy but the first latte had a piece of hair in it. Great food but not entirely family friendly -- it's a little tight to bring a baby in a stroller. Plus, as I was headed to the bathroom where I passed several employees no one bothered to give me a heads up the bathroom was too small to accommodate the stroller plus there was no changing table. Therefore, if you have a baby or toddler in diapers/pull ups, you wouldn't be able to change your child at this restaurant. Parking is free on street parking. Great kitchen, but the attention to detail, hygiene, and basic customer awareness really needs improvement. read more
The interior is very cute and has a clean, aesthetically pleasing look. My friend and I came here to catch up after a few months, and while the experience wasn't bad, I personally don't think I would return. The servers were nice and polite, but the overall service felt more friendly than genuinely warm or welcoming. I ordered the tonic, which definitely did wonders for my stomach, but I wasn't a big fan of the taste. It was a little too tangy and bitter for me. The chicken tasted similar to frozen breaded chicken tenders, and the waffles were pretty simple. Overall, the dish didn't really wow me. That said, it wasn't a bad place. We've heard of this restaurant several times and we had to try it. We went on a Friday morning so it wasn't busy. They offer outdoor seating. The restaurant itself is super cute but small. The decor is really nice. I ordered the breakfast burrito. The first half was pretty eh but the second half was good. The avocado happened to only be in the second half the burrito & it made it so much better. I added some cholula and it was . My partner had the meat lover's omelette. We shared a side of pancakes. The pancakes were average; not bad but also nothing special. I would return & would like to try something different. They have a wide variety of items on their menu. The service was great. It's also BYOB which is awesome. They don't have a parking lot but there's a good amount of street parking available in the area. read more

After hearing about Summer and Autumn cafe a couple months ago, I decided to visit it with a couple friends as a pre-American Dream mall activity. The cafe seemed like the closest brunch option to the mall. We got there around 10 am on a Saturday morning and the first thing we noticed was the lack of parking. Only street parking is available, so be prepared to parallel park. The cafe itself is a bit small and cramped, but not busy enough for there to be a wait. We were interestingly each given bottled water with a mason jar, ice, and a straw for our beverage. The menu seemed a bit limited with items that were not too unique. Regardless, we ordered the 2 eggs any way, AJ's omelette, and chicken sandwich. My eggs were properly cooked as I had requested, and I enjoyed how my toast resembled garlic bread with a garlic spread. We did enjoy the potatoes and the fries served with our meal, as they were adequately seasoned and nicely crispy. However, my friend requested that his chicken sandwich not have tomatoes, but tomatoes were still included within his sandwich. Interestingly enough, our waitress actually came back to confirm that buffalo sauce was alright with him before proceeding with the order. Overall, Summer and Autumn cafe got the job done, but we found our meal to be lackluster compared to other brunch places in the area. Maybe we all should have ordered something different but our experience was average. read more

Cute little restaurant, with cute decor. It is small, so there might be a wait simply because there aren't many seats. The tres leches French toast was unique, but would have preferred if it had some caramelization on it. Smoothie was good, along with the mangu sliders. Portions are good, so either plan to share a few plates, or have takeaway. read more

The food was delectable! I highly recommend the Dulce de leche tres leches French toast and the grilled cheese with tomato soup! The ambiance was very welcoming and had an old-school meets modern cuisine. Shout out to Chris V. for walking my wife and I thru the menu. Definitely top notch. read more

Service alone gets 4 stars, took 1 off because the person cleaning the table next to us started spraying disinfectant and it was blowing our way. I appreciate the cleanliness but we didn't want a sprinkle of it on our meals . He did try to prevent it from happening once he realized what he was doing but didn't even apologize. Anywho... I didn't enjoy the caramel latte with oatmilk. It just didn't have a good taste overall. I added sugar which helped a little but I didn't finish it. We ordered the mangu sliders and a brunch board. We replaced the plain pancakes with tres leches pancakes. The mangu wasn't good at all. It was really dry. I did enjoy the eggs, fried cheese, and sausage. The onions also didn't taste good. The chicken on the board was delicious. The waffle was rubbery which was disappointing. We eat out frequently and to our standards this place was just ok although when I posted I was here on Instagram, two people commented they love the place. I unfortunately did not feel the same. Maybe it was an off day? You can try your luck because they were super nice there and I have heard good things about it. It just wasn't my experience. read more

It was just okay, lots of issues. Would only go here again if reservations were made, should've thought about that beforehand. It was a 45+ minute wait without reservations. Was also told it was going to be a 30 min wait, so lower expectations if you're looking to get a walk in seat on a weekend for two. Upon entry and being seated, the corner smelled like bleach, really brought down the vibe, the ambiance was still solid, just not from our seating. Also a bit cramped when it's a full house, not much space. The Belgian waffles is a unique take on the dish as it has hints of cinnamon, very filling especially with the accompanying fruits. The bacon however had to be sent back even though we requested they be well done. They were prompt with service. The coffee didn't taste like it had caramel, tasted more like hazelnut instead. Wouldn't purchase again. Pancakes were very dry, no flavor as well. Syrup was absorbed and didn't help somehow. Sausage, bacon, and potatoes were still fine on their own. Cheese eggs were a must purchase, very flavorful. Overall our experience was bad but maybe it varies, service was solid, food was okay, the wait was pretty bad. Definitely ambitious in trying to be a brunch place with as much seating as they have, be sure to get reservations and BYOB, 3.4/5, apple juice was amazing. read more
This is a nice up-and-coming place! I would HIGHLY recommend getting a reservation as it is a small location and fills up fast. The food was good but the price was even better - it was one of the most affordable brunches I've ever gone to! The decor was also quite cute. The only issue I had was how delayed we were in getting seated. We had an 11:30 reservation for a party of 5 and were not seated until close to 11:50 because they did not prepare the tables correctly. They asked us to come back in 10 minutes, at 11:40, but then we had to wait for an additional 10 min because they still had not set up. The tables were shaky but the manager or owner came up and personally apologized for it. I would go back, but with a smaller party. The staff did seem genuinely sorry that it took so long to get the table ready. read more

Summer and Autumn is a very quaint cafe. It is right on the corner of..... wait for it..... Summer and Autumn streets and there is plenty of street parking. If you can't find parking, there is parking directly across the street, at the Lodi Mall lot. The cafe is small, but the service, and food quality, is EXCELLENT. The orange juice was very fresh and my cafe latte hit the spot. The creaminess of the whipped cream allowed me to enjoy every drop without adding sugar. Very good and highly recommended. Our entrees were delicious. The omelet was sprinkled with just the right amount of pepper, that it didn't need any other condiment. The pancakes were fluffy, flavorful, and the fruit was fresh. You will not go wrong with a meal at Summer and Autumn and hopefully, you'll think of this review, when you're enjoying your experience. read more
Wow when I think brunch this place takes the cake! Everything was incredible, amazing decorations and a super cozy atmosphere! It's byob so my friend and I brought champagne to have mimosas, the start to any great brunch. Then we had the pancakes and the French toast, incredible very light and buttery! Then we tried the Benedict and the chicken and waffles, each bite was better than the last! We will absolutely be back ! And if you're in the Lodi area you should stop in ! read more
Found this on our way upstate for a late day hike. The chicken and waffle sliders came with 2 which I wouldn't have been able to eat alone. Each slider came with a waffle, chicken, waffle, and chicken. I had to deconstruct and cut it up. The waffle was fluffy. The chicken was my favorite part. It was thin, no bones, and well breaded and seasoned. It was salty enough that the syrup balanced it out. We were looking for mimosas but they only provide the juice and you bring the booze. read more

What a gem of a cafe! From the outside it doesn't look like much but inside is so cute and insta worthy. They also play great Spanish/rnb music. The food is the real start here. 3/4 people at the table got the Starvin Marvin and it did not disappoint. Come with an appetite. Everything is perfectly seasoned and the diced potatoes are so crispy and flavorful. We also got lattes and those were OK. Good, but might not order again. The whole place smelled like fresh baked cookies. Can't wait to come back! read more
