    Challah French Toast
    Rashid M.

Came here on a weekend for brunch. It was snowing out, so luckily we were seated very promptly. I ordered the Challah French Toast which came with toppings of berries and banana. I thought it was good, but the bread wasn't as fluffy as I'd like.

A busy corner restaurant for good brunch. It's small-medium size place so you might have to wait a little during peak hours. We got lucky, it was barely any wait. The decor is vibrant and flowery. It's open kitchen so you can see what's going on. Everyone is nice and friendly. Very attentive. My egg Benedict is great. Poached eggs are just right. Potatoes are seasoned nicely. Kids menu silver dollar pancakes are appealing and colorful with fruits and whipped cream. Lovely restaurant for family or friends hangout.

There is no better way to celebrate the arrival of spring than with brunch. It is that time of day when one wants to turn a typical weekend into a Funday, sip a mimosa or delish coffee, or go on a day date, but more importantly, it's not when to go, but where. Located at the intersections of Summer and Autumn in Lodi, this hidden gem has been open for 4 years. My partner and I decided on a repeat performance as our first visit was amazing. The reservation was easily made by calling Summer and Autumn Cafe for Saturday's brunch. Upon arrival at this cozy, comfortable, lively BYOB establishment decorated in its spring colors, we were warmly greeted by the staff and got seated immediately by the window. Outdoor dining is available during pleasant weather. Private event spaces are available. Their menu is retrievable by scanning the QR code with many great options for breakfast, lunch, or brunch on weekends. We decided on the Meat Lovers Omelette served with a side salad as well as the Avo Toast and a side of Bistro Fries. The food remained plated beautifully and tasted great using local ingredients. Portions were just right. The staff was pleasant, welcoming, and accommodating. Our server was Chastity. Bill, the owner, is nothing short of a visionary, and one can tell he loves what he does. The price was comparable to the area. We had another great dining experience, which we continue to recommend.

This is my second visit to this gem, and I just can't get enough! This time, I indulged in a tres leches coffee, tres golpes sliders, and a comforting tomato soup paired with grilled cheese. First off, whoever had the brilliant idea to create a tres golpes slider is nothing short of a culinary genius--the flavors were simply incredible! The tomato soup was delightful as well. On my first visit, I enjoyed a variety of boards, which were equally impressive. We're already planning our next trip to explore more of the menu. I highly recommend this place, but trust me--make a reservation! If you don't, be prepared to wait at least an hour!

This place is amazing! The food was delicious and the service was great. The place is not that big but it's just right for the area. We went 2x during our visit to NJ.

This is a cool cozy brunch spot hidden in the middle of no where. They do have a parking lot across the street. We went on a Monday morning when it wasn't too packed but as we left the place started to fill up. The servers were friendly and quick. I got the omelete and it was huge. I paired it with the dulce latte. It was really good and good too fast. The omelete is packed with potato and vegetables so I had to get it with cheese to liven up the dish. The eggs Benedict was good too. They were able to substitute for turkey bacon. I felt that it could be a little more crispy. The prices were fair for the portion size.

Hidden gem in Lodi NJ serving breakfast brunch and lunch. Cute atmosphere, lovely service, and great coffee and portions. We kept it simple with eggs potatoes and breakfast bacon and sausage.

I really liked this spot!!! Came here for a double date breakfast and we all loved our food. I ended up getting the mangu sliders and they were SOOOO good. Definitely different , glad I tried it. Their french toast looked amazing! Everyone enjoyed their food with no complaints. If I am in the area, I would definitely stop by again. Portions are great for the price as well. The spot itself is really cute and has outdoor seating if the weather is nice.

Whether you live in or near Lodi, New Jersey or not, you need to frequent this establishment. The creations are chef inspired by 16 year restaurant veteran William. (Bill). I recommend starting out with the regular French toast which is out of this world. I've been coming here for almost 3 years and I'm not a local person.

We've heard of this restaurant several times and we had to try it. We went on a Friday morning so it wasn't busy. They offer outdoor seating. The restaurant itself is super cute but small. The decor is really nice. I ordered the breakfast burrito. The first half was pretty eh but the second half was good. The avocado happened to only be in the second half the burrito & it made it so much better. I added some cholula and it was . My partner had the meat lover's omelette. We shared a side of pancakes. The pancakes were average; not bad but also nothing special. I would return & would like to try something different. They have a wide variety of items on their menu. The service was great. It's also BYOB which is awesome. They don't have a parking lot but there's a good amount of street parking available in the area.

Cute little restaurant, with cute decor. It is small, so there might be a wait simply because there aren't many seats. The tres leches French toast was unique, but would have preferred if it had some caramelization on it. Smoothie was good, along with the mangu sliders. Portions are good, so either plan to share a few plates, or have takeaway.

Came here for the first time what a cute place. We had such a great experience. We tried the B.L.A.T Sandwich, Mangu Sliders and Brunch Board everything was delicious and the service was great.

We're so glad we did, because this hole in the wall turned out to be a diamond in the rough. With a nondescript exterior and limited signage, Foodies Diner is easy to miss. It's in an area with mainly houses and mixed use commercial buildings, but the space inside is cozy. I especially appreciated the way the owner greeted everyone who enters and thanked everyone who leaves with notable warmth and small-town friendliness. The menu reads like a true diner - with all-day breakfast and brunch options, as well as standard lunch fare. We ordered a Santa Fe salad and an L.A. burger - which comes with avocado, bacon, onion, lettuce, and tomatoes. The burger was pretty standard, but having it delivered on a warm brioche bun feels a little bit special. The accompanying fries were also great - crisp and potatoey on the inside. The salad, on the other hand, was a near triumph. Served on a large platter, there was a small field of well-seasoned chicken, shredded cheddar, vegetables, avocado, pico de gallo, and - best yet - some pieces of warm, toasted pita. I even sprinkled some pieces of bacon from my burger into this salad, and wow did that take it over the top. I dug into this salad with fair gusto and would absolutely come back for it...which is saying something, since I wouldn't expect to fall in love with a salad at a diner. Service was fantastic, and we were pleased with how reasonably priced our meal turned out to be. There's plenty of parking - either right out front or in the lot further back.

Seating is first-come, first-served, and guests are placed based on availability, which keeps things fair and efficient even during busy times. The tables for two are intimate and cozy, perfect for conversation, though they can become a bit tight when ordering several dishes at once. That said, the staff was attentive and checked in often enough to clear plates and make room, which made the experience much more comfortable. The dessert menu is separate, allowing guests to enjoy their meal at an unhurried pace before deciding on something sweet. Their beverage offerings are thoughtfully presented. Herbal tea options include green tea, chamomile, and English tea (Stash), and the tea is served in a container that provides two full servings. The cappuccino is well made and served with a sugar crystal stick, adding a distinct old-world charm that enhances the café's European feel. I regret not asking for an additional order of Turkish coffee so that's a regret . What we ordered: * Greek Salad - $18.50 * Cappuccino - $6.80 * Herbal Tea - $6.00 * Uštipci - $17.25 * Musaka - $22.95 * Šnicla (Cutlet Sandwich) - $20.75 * 2 Diet Cokes - $8.00 The musaka is a baked dish and does take about 25 minutes to prepare, as it's made fresh with baked eggs, seasoned beef, and sliced potatoes layered on top. The wait is well worth it, resulting in a hearty, comforting dish that tastes authentically homemade. The Šnicla (cutlet sandwich) arrived beautifully presented on a wooden board, adding a rustic, elevated touch that matched the restaurant's aesthetic. Mom felt it lacked in seasoning but she Didnt leave any crumbs . The Uštipci were a standout--served with feta and honey, generously portioned, and so plentiful that we happily took some home. We were too full for dessert this time, but it's absolutely on the list for a return visit. Due to winter weather, we couldn't explore the back of the restaurant, but even from the main dining area, the decor is undeniably charming and full of character. Overall, Cafe Bubamara offers authentic flavors, generous portions, attentive service, and a cozy, old-world atmosphere that makes it a place worth revisiting.
