Walking in gave me a homey kind of feel. Autumn/Halloween decorations were up. Before 11 on a Sunday, the restaurant is lightly filled. Our waiter was friendly. He even took our orders while sitting down at our table He provided health conscientious recommendations when asked. The food came out at a decent pace. A cup of water is not automatic, so be sure to ask for one if you want. I got the Eggs Nova Scotia. The dish was definitely savory. So savory that I felt the urge to drink my sweet Peach Snapple between bites. The home fries were somewhat bland and needed a good helping of ketchup for flavor. Overall, the food is meh but the place is homey and welcoming. Wouldn't mind going back for brunch when feeling something different.

This is a great local breakfast spot. It has a homey feel to it. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the food is good. I went there on a Monday morning for breakfast and it was fairly empty, we got our drinks and food fast.

I have lived in the area for 20+ years and never made it over to this iconic eatery....until today that is! On a rainy Saturday, we decided to finally make the trip. Ordered the western omelette and a short stack of banana nut pancakes. Everything was AMAZING! Better than any other local diner. The omelette was not greasy at all and had a great helping of peppers, onions and bacon. The potatoes it came with were great! And then let's talk about these pancakes....I have no words. They were better than any ihop pancake I've had...and I love ihop. They bake the bananas and nuts inside the pancake which i love...not all places do that. I didn't want to eat as much as I did but they were so good I couldn't leave any behind. Coffee was good! And the best part....prices are great! Can't wait to go back for lunch!

Grabbed an early breakfast with a friend on Saturday morning. I had been to Fisher's Cafe in Fair Lawn, and I'm not sure if this place is affiliated, but they have pretty similar decor. There is a old school counter, where the kitchen is in full view, with some tables and booths in the other areas of the restaurant. I believe there is parking in the back. I got my usual breakfast staple, corned beef hash with eggs. The eggs were cooked as I asked, the corned beef hash was definitely the canned kind, which isn't bad but nothing special. The breakfast deal also came with coffee AND juice, so the value is great.

This place is a hidden Gem. You walk in and automatically feel like you're transported back 25 years. The decor, picture's, and overall ambiance of the place give you the old school vibes that are hard to come by these days. I regularly come here for breakfast , so this review is only for that They have some of the best omelets ive gad anywhere and I love their different kinds of eggs Benedict meals (they have quite an extensive list). You can tell they make their hollandaise in house which makes all the difference The place is also very clean and service is always on point!

Behind the counter, the have different options for teas, cereals, coffee enhancements.

Just stumbled across this gem on the Boulevard in Hasbrouck Heights. The food was amazing the customers and staff friendly. It's a great place for breakfast or lunch and the prices are perfect for the customer on an recession budget. (Has a very inclusive vibe)

I really have a love for Fishers cafe ever since I started going to the one in Fairlawn and I was thrilled to find out that there is another location is my area. I have now been here on two separate occasions and both experiences were excellent. I always order the Jersey Boy Eggs Benny and it is so delicious. I love that Fishers is consistent in serving quality food each and every time. The decor is very old school and makes me feel like i stepped back in time. The staff never lets your coffee cup get empty and always serve with a smile. Just a side note: don't wait for your check just walk up to the cash register and they will ring you rite up!

Cozy and with lots of personality from the stickies on the wall from customers to their decor. I ordered an Iced caramel latte and a savory everything croissant with a herb cream cheese filling that took me by surprise in a good way. Pricing was great as well. There was a point when it got pretty loud, to the point where I had to turn up the volume on my earbuds to stay focused. Just something to note if you're hoping for complete silence on a weekend. There's plenty of parking, but it is shared with the other businesses next door. The environment inside is what stood out the most to me. It has a very hippie, artsy vibe with greenery throughout and paintings on the walls that are actually for sale. Even with the foot traffic, the space still felt calm and peaceful overall. Service was okay, they were clearly busy. The bakery items were average, nothing crazy. I had a chocolate croissant, which was fine. I also ordered a latte. I'd definitely come back, mainly for the environment. It's a nice spot when you need some alone time to get work done. I'll probably try coming back on a weekday next time when there are hopefully fewer peoplebut honestly, I'd still come back even on a busy weekend.

It's also dog-friendly, which I absolutely love (I come here at least once a week with my dog, and they're always so accommodating and kind). The staff is genuinely friendly, there's a large parking lot (which is a huge plus), and they always have fun seasonal items to look forward to. You can really feel the care and intention behind this place. Highly recommend making this part of your weekly cafe rotation.

The shop is small with limited places to hang out -- there's a small counter where you can stand and sip your coffee. Otherwise, they have a few small tables outside. There's a second room which has cute merch and a fridge with additional cold beverages for sale. I tried the vanilla latte and took home some treats! The spinach handpie - basically a spinach/cheese breakfast pastry, the cinnamon roll (to die for!! It was fluffy and sweet but not overly sweet like other places are), and a pumpkin cheesecake bar with pomegranate seeds. What I really like about Erie is that they make all these delicious treats and once they are sold out, they're sold out. They don't make more for the rest of the day and they don't waste food. Our area has no shortage of bakeries but those of us that have sampled a number of them realize, there are truly ones that stand out from the rest. Erie Coffee Shop & Bakery is one of those bakeries! Cute old school bake shop. Really nice and professional staff. I went in trying to be "good" and not some out with a lot. Easier said than done in this bake shop. Everything looks amazing! I asked for recommendations and left with the citrus olive oil cake, chocolate chip cookie, almond cookie, and a Madeleine. Within a couple of hours, I devoured the citrus olive oil cake. Absolutely perfect! Hint of citrus and just the right amount of moist. Also, the perfect size to feel fulfilled without feeling overly guilty. Later that night, I went for the almond cookie. Amazing texture, truly better than any almond horn I've had. The next day, I broke a piece off of the chocolate chip cookie that we got for our daughter. Perfect cookie. Then I reached for the madeleine, better than any literary device I've ever had! Transported me to my couch, where I speechlessly consumed it with some tea! Awesome! I'll be back!
