Chicken strips and fries
Diana A.

Yesterday we went to this place for an order. It's my second time, I think. The first time everything was very good. This time I did Chicken Strips and fries. Amount was more than enough for one person; chicken&fries had great flavor so the texture! Customer service was great Blessings

Oyakodon Bowl

Me and my friends came here because we were in the area, and we loved it!! The owner is also so, SO lovely. I got the oyakodon bowl and it was amazing. My friends got the sweet and spicy bowl and the beef bowl, and they loved theirs as well. I would 100% recommend stopping in and giving it a try!

Potato all beef corndog

Great spot for a quick bite to eat. The cashier man was super friendly and welcoming. There are some seats inside for small groups. The soy garlic chicken was incredibly delicious and was pleasantly surprised. Really tender and full of flavor. Food well worth the price. The corndog was okay and wanted to try it at least once. Would come back again if I was craving.

Inside

Our 3rd time here, since the owner relocated from Norwood. The girls behind the counter are always pleasant and helpful. The inside is small with a few tables to relax. The music playing is always at a decent volume. The Rice Hot Dog rolls are amazing and so tasty. We have had several different types and they are always good. The mochi not donut's are really good too. We just got the filled donuts this time to bring home and try. My wife loves the matcha bobba drink. It would be great if they had regular hot coffee and lattes.

The best boba around and delicious food. The owner is one of the kindest, friendliest business owners I've met.

The store was empty when I arrived. They have a parking lot right next to the store. The store was very clean and tidy. Lots of tables to sit. Clear big menu with all the wings, sandwiches, tenders, sides listed on the menu. I was shocked to see they have more than 12 flavors, all nicely described in huge wall poster. I waited about 5 minutes to get my order. The wings were decent size. They were moist inside. But the outer layer was dry crisp kind that I am not a fan of. But I loved the lemon peppers that had citrusy flavor with hint of salt. Overall it was a nice first time experience.

I gave in to my boneless wings craving one late night. I only saw pricing for combo meals on the…read moremenu and I didn't want that much food, so I asked the employees if there was an option to buy just the wings themselves. They told me they sell their wings for around $0.70 a piece with a minimum order of 10. That's such a steal! I ordered 10 of them, half hickory smoked BBQ and half lemon pepper dry rub. I also got a fountain drink with it, so my total was around $7. I was not expecting that, but I'm not complaining lol. The wings hit the spot! Crispy, juicy, and tender. The lemon pepper dry rub was a little too salty, though. Just a warning, they do use a fair amount of breading. I personally don't mind, but I know some people aren't a fan.

Y'all have no idea how much it bums me out that NJ doesn't have many good boba shops. Luckily, I…read morelive in one of the best parts of the state--about 9 miles away from NYC--so I can just hop on a bus and have access to more options! Anyways... I still like to shoot my shot with places around here because ya never know when ya might hit the jackpot. I found BTX Cafe on Yelp. The interior is small and simple, but beautiful! It's bright, with tons of natural light, and has a modern, minimalistic Japanese-inspired design with light wood furniture and neutral colors. There's also wifi and outlets, which is always a win. The menu is a mix of both coffee and bubble tea, with the usual favorites: milk teas, fruit teas, slushes, espresso, and cold brew. Prices are a few dollars lower than most other cafes, which is definitely a huge plus. I'm not into overly sweet drinks. I prefer a very strong tea flavor, so I order mine with the lowest amount of sugar possible and light ice. The staff is friendly, and they make drinks pretty quickly. What I tried... MILK TEAS: Pearl Milk Tea ($5.25) Oolong Milk Tea ($5.25) These were a big thumbs down. They were wayyy too milky, and the tea flavor barely came through. I was disappointed. FRUIT TEAS: Passion Fruit Green Tea ($5.75) Mango Green Tea ($5.75) Lychee Oolong Tea ($5.75) The fruit teas were better--refreshing, with a stronger tea base. The oolong was toasty and nutty, and the jasmine green tea was sweet and floral. As for the fruity flavors... I don't think they use real fruit puree like some other boba brands. The passion fruit and mango tasted similar and I almost couldn't tell the two drinks apart. Both lacked that signature tangy, tropical kick and tasted more like artificial syrup. Thankfully, the tea helped even it out. Out of the three, the lychee oolong was my favorite. It was the most balanced! The tapioca pearls were actually the highlight-perfectly chewy, bouncy, and soft. Your taste buds might enjoy their drinks, but mine didn't love them. A bit of a letdown since the prices are lower than its competitors, but maybe that affects the quality. I liked the lychee oolong tea enough to come back for just that. Perhaps the coffee is better? The hunt continues...
