Biscuits & Gravy with Home Fries

We really enjoyed this place. Our waiter was fantastic at his job. He was running around filling coffeee taking orders cleaning tables. Plus he was super nice. The biscuit with sausage gravy was what I have been craving for a long time. Hit the spot!! Cheesy grits were and the BLT were good, nothing special. Now the hash browns, which our server said we definitely have to try, were the best I've ever had. I'm normally not a fan of the smashed down ones because they normally don't cook them properly. These were perfect. We will be back to try more menu items. Mostly because our waiter was so amazing.

Easy parking in the lot. Good breakfast place with very friendly staff. coffee was pretty good too and food was on par with diner food. mini muffins at the table are a nice touch. interesting retro ambiance although a little grimey

The hamburger was good but the tuna melt was not good. It tasted spoiled. The place was busy - service was good for how busy they were. Overall, an okay experience.

Bennys is a very cute Luncheonette/Diner. Serving breakfast all day and sandwiches. Portions are very large!! The best part is the wait staff who are the most friendliest ladies!! We went there with my granddaughter and they cooed all over her. Small and clean, counter seating available. Lots of parking.

Large skinless hotdog had a kielbasa type flavor that deserved a roll fit for a sausage. I had to eat it more like an open faced sandwich. The homemade chili deserved it's own bowl. Delicious. Served with a boatload of fries and cost almost $7 bucks. Friendly luncheonette with their own ice cream/ bakery next-door.

There was a bit of a line to order as the two girls in front of us were asking to try every flavor and you could even tell the staff helping them was getting frustrated. I would recommend a limit to how many flavors you can try and posted signage. I shouted over them asking if we could order because there was a long line and those girls were just being extremely rude and difficult to the staff and other customers waiting. Have to say the flavors at maroons are very impressive whether you get soft serve or hard ice cream you will not be disappointed. We got the pistachio and butter pecan. You can tell the genuine homemade ice cream consistency by the ice cream and most if not all flavors are gluten free and have no food coloring which is so hard to find nowadays. It definitely gets crazy on weekends now that the warmer weather is out and the portions a bit oversized but you will love whatever you end up ordering! The inside has tables and high top seating and in the warmer seasons they usually put a few tables outside as well.

My friends and I perused the menu before we went and they certainly have some unique offerings. The Asian-inspired flavors really piqued my interest (kulfi, masala chai, ube, etc.). Given how late it was the store wasn't too packed. Service was very friendly and the staff offered to have us sample the ice cream flavors. My friend and I opted for ice cream served in bubble waffles and the staff member informed me it would take a while because since it was so close to closing they only had 1 waffle maker going. They have such a wide variety of flavors so I'm sure you'll find something you like. I got a kulfi sundae and was very pleased with the how creamy it was. The bubble waffle was nice and fresh too. I tried my friends' ice creams and they were just as good. The place is spacious and clean. I could see myself coming back. Bonus points for having a clean bathroom.

Wowww, who remembers the self-serve frozen yogurt trend in the early 2010s? Froyo shops used to pop…read moreup left and right and now so many have closed down. I've always been a sucker for this frozen treat, so I'm glad Cups is still around. I visited the Fair Lawn location on a Friday evening. The store is bright and colorful with some seating in the back. They have about 8 self-serve machines with over 20 different flavors - fruity, nutty, chocolate, tart, decadent, etc. They have over 50 kinds of toppings ranging from candy to fresh fruit to syrups to cakes. You grab a cup, choose your flavor(s), grab the handle, and swirl away! Top off your froyo with as many toppings as you want, BUT just be aware that it's $0.78 per ounce. It's super easy to rack up $$$ AND calories on this treat. This location also sells ice cream and allows you to build your own ice cream sandwich. The store was very busy at the time and packed with families, kids, and teenagers. A little chaotic. There were two employees and they definitely could've used another hand with running the store. I asked one if I was able to sample some flavors and she told me "they ran out of sample cups". Something in me told me she was lying LOL. Probably my BS detector. So I asked the other employee for samples and what do ya know... She sweetly told me she was going to run to the back to get me some. I sampled two flavors that I usually get at all froyo stores: Eurotart and Salted Caramel. I have a huge sweet tooth, but these were sickeningly sweet. Wayyyyy too much sugar with artificial flavors. What really threw me off was the consistency and texture. They were SO ICY that I could see the individual ice crystals. It was nothing like what froyo should be - soft and creamy. I was really looking forward to getting a cup, but the service and mediocre froyo turned me off. So I walked out empty handed. I'm glad I sampled it before I bought anything because I would've been annoyed for dropping $$ on bad froyo. I might give them another try in the future, but I can see why their rating isn't so high.

With a strong Italian heritage, the Garden State makes a great destination for this joyous dessert…read more Gelato is the Italian word for "frozen" ice cream originally created in the 16th century. It came to the United States in 1770, is made with milk, typically does not include eggs, and has a dense texture from a slower churning speed than ice cream. Located on Market Street in Elmwood Park, my partner and I came to this family-operated establishment celebrating 25 years. Upon entering the cozy Four Seasons as first-timers, we were in the mood for some homemade gelato. There were a few classics one will find, such as chocolate, hazelnut, coffee, and stracciatella (vanilla with crunchy chocolate pieces), as well as pistachio, all written in Italian. They also feature hard ice cream, cakes, pastries, and coffee. We decided on a small chocolate and medium banana and sat outside at one of the two available tables. The texture was silkier and softer with a bold, intense flavor and authenticity. The price was comparable to the area. The young staff could have been a bit more sociable. We can recommend this place.
