These are a couple of the donuts I selected: Maple Bacon: Originally, I was hesitant about combining a breakfast meat with a pastry. As soon as I took my first bite, I instantly fell in love with this unique creation. It had a sweet and salt taste. If you decide to try the maple bacon, you'll have to wait until the weekend because it isn't available Monday through Friday. Ring Ding: This is identical to a Hostess Ring Ding. The inside is plentifully filled with chantilly cream. It is rich and very sweet; supplementing a glass of milk is highly recommended. There is a small dining area, which seats about 6-8 customers. These donuts were amazing! A pleasure to visit on this particular day because they were having a valentine special, buy a dozen get a dozen free. Only on their classic donuts but to my surprise all of the classic donuts were so good, although I did want to try some of their signature flavors too. This shop is small and has a couple of tables to sit down at. They have hot drinks available along with a fridge for cold beverages to purchase. The lady who assisted me was so sweet, so friendly and it was nice to come all the way from the city and be greeted with such lovely hospitality. She was working by herself and she had a couple of other customers waiting, but made everyone feel like a priority. She was a natural professional lol. The prices were quite pricey, which each donut flavor having its own price, my box of minis with tax and tip were about 40 bucks! Although I can't complain because I got a box free. I also can tell my donuts were freshly made with quality ingredients and the flavors are true to its donuts name. Although my visit was really for the banana foster, my favorite turned out to be the cannoli. They nailed that donut true to its original interpretation of what a cannoli is but made into a donut. My daughters loved the flavors of their selections although the strawberry cheesecake was a bit sweeter than she expected and liked. A bit overwhelming is how she put it. She would have been satisfied with just the mini size. Overall I think the next time I'm in town I may stop by for a half of dozen of minis because of the prices and because some flavors were better than others. PSA - just discovered this great donut shop! This no frills shop has a huge variety of nearly 30 donuts. We happened to catch the Labor Day specials and I'm sure they have specially decorated ones for all the holidays. Every donut was fresh and delicious (and I suspect with few preservatives). Our favorites thus far are the kronut and red velvet cream cheese, and we'll definitely be back to try more. This is a fun treat for yourself or to bring to a gathering! read more

I've been coming for close to a decade to get my donut fix. This location is the OG. There are so many creative and unique flavors! My favorites are maple bacon, New Jersey cheesecake, and guava. Some of the other popular ones are the Italian Rainbow Cookie, French Toast, Kronut, and Smores. You must try the maple bacon if you're into that "sweet and salty" taste. They rotate flavors around so you can get a chance to try a bit of everything. They offer seasonal and holiday ones as well. If you're not feeling too adventurous, they also have your classics like glazed, chocolate, vanilla, jelly, and strawberry. Now just a warning...some of these donuts can be overwhelming. They are large in size and packed with fillings and toppings... That's probably why the artisan and signature ones are close to $4-$5 each. I do think it's worth it every once in awhile. I had four new donuts, and my thoughts are below. Bread Pudding - This was a special that was being offered. It was small compared to the rest of their donuts, but it was dense and heavy. This was not that good. It came with a bourbon caramel sauce that was okay, but I was surprised by the texture being mostly bread like. Napoleon - This was a cronut with a cream filing. This was tasty as the cronut was light, flaky, and buttery. It went well with the cream filing. Coconut Cream - This had a coconut cream filing with a chocolate icing and coconut flakes. It was solid and an ideal ratio of coconut flakes to chocolate. The coconut was not too over powerful at all. Green Tea Matcha - This was another special. It was a matcha green tea infused cake donut filled with vanilla butter cream with vanilla whipped cream and a strawberry. I was afraid the matcha would be too much, but that was not the case at all. It had a great balance of matcha with the overall cake donut. It made me want to try more matcha flavored items! read more

One of the best donut shops in the country. You have to get their Rainbow cookie donut! The rainbow cookie donut is actually the reason why I stopped by in the first place. Then when you get there, you will see a large variety of creations that you won't see anywhere else. You know what separates them from other donut chains is how they use grade A ingredients that you can taste with every bite such as the jelly in the jelly donuts. On top of the donuts being amazing...the customer service is spot on at every location. I have been to at least 3 different locations and all of the employees look happy to help for a great experience. Moved to NJ from CA and have been searching for good donuts. Drove 35 minutes to check this place out. Spent close to $40 on 8 donuts (1 specialty) and an iced coffee (with almond milk and toasted marshmallow syrup/asked for half the normal amount of syrup). We chose: glazed, chocolate with chocolate sprinkles, pink frosting with sprinkles, vanilla frosting with M&Ms, black and white, chocolate with chocolate frosting, french toast and the rainbow cookie. I feel that if you can't nail a simple glazed donut, everything else is already a miss. I tried the glazed donut before leaving the shop and it was so dry. My coffee was also very sweet and transparent. I already was not looking forward to trying anything else. Once I got home, I tried the rainbow cookie donut and the cake was also dry. I ate it with a fork because there were crumbs everywhere. The raspberry filling was good, but donut was over all disappointing. If you want a good rainbow cookie donut, check out Once Bitten Donuts in Red Bank. The only donut that wasn't dry was the M&M donut. I also liked the vanilla frosting. The french toast donut tasted like those little crumb donuts that come in a roll, and I enjoyed the nostalgia. Nothing else is worth commenting. Service was okay. This is a great spot if you want to try donuts that are on another level compared to other donut shops. When you go somewhere else, you kind of just get sweet treats. Vanilla frosting, chocolate frosting and maybe some flavorless sprinkles. Here, they slap those sad little donuts from your hand and gives you the best GD donut you ever had. I had the banana cream and the PB&J donuts and you can taste those ingredients. they weren't overly sweet, I mean they're sweet, but it just doesn't taste like sugar. The service is great too, they're always nice, they wait for you to look at the plethora of flavors and choices, and this place gets pretty busy as you would guess so I truly appreciate the patients when i'm wondering if I should get that bacon maple donut with my three other choices. Whoever bought this place is a JOKE. Was told by BORIS that they do not make the donuts on site nor decorate them and they come from a factory. Ok fine. The process to order custom donuts is ridiculous. 10.00 per color. So 12.00 for a dozen mini donuts...and 10.00 for a drop of food dye. Ok fine you're doing something I don't. Specifically ordered 3 colors of blue and a separate box with PINK. P.I.N.K. For pick up at or after 4 pm Friday. That being said. Friday afternoon at 3:47 pm my phone starts ringing (4 times), "an emergency has come up so we're closing early. Can you be here in 10 minutes?" No I cannot I don't have a space ship. Asked if they would be ok the next day, they swore up and down they would be fine and that they would refrigerate them. Ok fine. The emergency was that someone CALLED OUT of work so they were short staffed and closed! That's not an emergency and Unless I lived out back how could I possibly get there in 13 minutes! I asked If they could stay a bit longer and I would leave immediately and was told no. The girl was rude to both me and my client who is also my friend who also received the same nasty call, minus the information that someone called out. We pick them up and they look ok...(our error for not checking both boxes) drive to an air conditioned location about 15 minutes Away. 2 hours later open the boxes...pictures to follow. The frosting melted off! Puddles of slop. On top of which the PINK donuts were STRAWBERRY. Not all pink Is strawberry flavor and not all strawberry is pink...especially when someone is ALLERGIC. Drops of blue coloring on the pink donuts. Immediately called glaze and was told I would receive a call back. Instead of My friend who is also MY client was called back and glaze trashed ME. Told her never to use me again, didn't address that the strawberry was pink/pink was strawberry. Nor that the donuts were clearly stale and not one dY stale because we purchased 2 single donuts the same morning and they were also stale. The fact that you bought a reputable name does not entitle you to put our sub par product because your staff called out. News flash. If you're going to trash another business perhaps recognize that another bakery knowing how donuts, glaze and refrigeration work is both unprofessional and sad. It's a shame because glaze was always fantastic and If it has been any one of those Issues you could chalk it up to a bad day but this was ridiculous. I have been to several locations in NJ and I really love these donuts. I recieved a free donut and coffee for my birthday and picked this location. When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. I walked in and was greeted by a nice young lady. I showed her my pass and she looked up my account. I was able to pick a classic donut and that was the lemon burst donut. I have had it before and I love it. This location is a little smaller so they have fewer options than others but still good. I also picked the cookie latte that was on display and it was ok. These are some pretty solid donuts. For the dough itself 10/10. I'm basing my review on the flavors I had. There's a wide variety which is great, a little something for everyone. I got the Nutella sugar and my cheesecake and to be honest, wasn't super impressed with the cheesecake. It looked beautiful and was nice and pillowy soft, however, it just lacked a little for me. The Italian donut was on the larger side and because of its sweetness I was only able to eat half in one sitting. The store is located in a plaza so there is plenty of parking to choose from | the store is a bit cramped with not much options for seating. Yes, I'm back with another donut review. I went on Christmas Eve in the early afternoon. There's not much parking but I didn't have wait long. It's a small place in a neighborhood strip mall. There's a bit of seating if you want to "dine in". There was only 1 group waiting when I arrived so I was served quickly. There was a decent selection and it looked like they were making more. I got 4. A glazed, chocolate with vanilla glaze, pumpkin and 1 other. Only a few donuts had signs so i had to keep asking. I would have purchased more if there were signs identifying the donuts but I didn't want to have to keep asking. Of all the donuts places I've eaten these rate high. Came off a recommendation from my sister. As I figured it would be just a midday snack, it turned out to be an incredible tasting. Off the recommendation of the server, we had the Banana Foster, the filling was excellent and matched well with the donut. The Strawberry Shortcake Nutella was excellent! The flavoring and taste was nice and light. The Flan donut was good, but the weakest out of the four. This was disappointing. I came in 1/2 an hour before closing and the shop was nearly empty. When I asked what happened to all the donuts, the sales associate told me they typically sell out. She also informed me that they don't make the donuts throughout the day. This means that either you come in when they open for fresh donuts, or you get donuts that have been sitting around all day. Since I drove there, I decided to give the glazed donuts a try. There was nothing special about it. (Mind you, I love Krispie Kreme's glazed donut. Hands down one of my favorites.)
