Love that its a nice place to meet up with friends with ample seating. Everything looks fresh and with that many options, its very hard to choose what to get ! Lets start with the good, the cheese empanada was very cheese and with a lightly crispy/flaky crust. My daughter loved this! The caprese sandwich was warmed and so delicious! The chocolate mousse cup was light and airy with a crisp dark chocolate cup. One of the best mousse i have had! The cannolis my daughter loved . Now the bad... We ordered the mint lemonade for my daughter and found a bug in it ( like a fruit fly) as soon as it was brought to our table. When i took it back to the counter the lady just smiled at me and offered to replace saying she didnt "think" it was from the machine and just flying around. I told her it was unacceptable and would have been more upsetting had my daughter drank it. Then was given a light apology but thats all , which is so strange to me . Then i received the chai ( which at the counter i was informed could be made less sweet). It was overpoweringly sweet, when i took this back they said it was a premixed powder and already has the sweet mixed in ( very strange why i was told it could be adjusted then :/). Whenever I need a cake for a special occasion, I go to Dulce de Leche. It's an Argentine bakery-cafe that serves fresh and delicious pastries, coffee, and brunch sandwiches at affordable prices. This is my third visit and they continue to impress me with their products and stellar service! I needed a cake for Father's Day so I came by before opening (8AM) on a Sunday and there was already a crowd of people waiting. I'm a fan of the interior. It's spacious, open, and bright with plenty of seating for groups and individuals. I hopped on line and ordered the 6" Dulce de Leche Chantilly Cake ($26) and some pastries (Father's Day cupcakes, donuts, raspberry croissant, and churros for ~$30). Everything was packaged nicely in sturdy boxes. I have to give MAJOR props to the friendly and efficient staff for handling such a large crowd only a few minutes into their shift! I was really impressed by how well staffed they were. Every employee greeted customers with a smile and had a positive attitude. My father and our family LOVED the cake and pastries. It was a chocolate cake with layers of dulce de leche and whipped cream. The icing and fillings weren't overly sweet at all and the richness of the chocolate batter really shone through. The texture was light and spongy. This is the perfect cake for chocolate lovers. My favorite pastry was the dulce de leche filled donut... the filling was so creamy, milky, and sweet. All of the pastries we had were delicious, so you can't go wrong with trying any. Overall, I highly recommend this bakery. Their freshly baked goods are truly made with love. There are many size and customization options for cakes. You can pre-order online or come in-person. I stopped by Dulce de Leche early on a Saturday morning to get breakfast with my girlfriend. The place is very spacious, modern, and clean. Service was friendly and quick. Unfortunately I was not impressed by the food. It was not bad at all, but for the price you pay, I expected more. I ordered the Choripan sandwich and a black coffee. The sandwich was just ok, it was saved by the chimichurri it was served with. It felt like I had way more bread than chorizo in each bite. The bread was pretty standard. This seems a little harsh but for $14 with a side of fries, I had high expectations. My girlfriend got Avocado Grilled Cheese. It seemed like she liked it. It looked pretty good. My wife and I had dinner nearby on a Thursday night. Wanted coffee and a bit of dessert before heading to a concert. Found Dulce de Leche on Yelp and knew it was what I was looking for. Place is big, modern, clean, bright, and has ample comfortable seating. Service was professional and the woman working behind the counter gave us advice regarding the right desserts to pick for our first time there. My wife enjoyed an iced chai, the flavors were very nice. I had a very solid Americano. I went with their alfajore cookie and also grabbed the chocolate covered alfajore cookie. The original alfajore was every bit as good as any I've ever had. The chocolate covered one was certainly decadent and I was glad I tried it but it was second to the original alfajore. I have been a patron of Dulce Englewood for a few years now. I get their delicious, fresh, not overly sweet cakes for special occasions. I visit often for breakfast & pastries & order their lunch items as well. Everything is always fresh, tasty, prepared to order and fairly priced so I've been a fan for a while now. After my experience with a delivery order this afternoon I'm a fan for life. The food was delivered late, the Uber driver was not responding to my calls or texts. Called Dulce & they got in touch with the uber driver who was delayed - weather, traffic, GPS issues etc. Even though the late delivery was not Dulce's fault they went above & beyond to make things right. Stopped in here today to meet someone for coffee. Unfortunately, their AC wasn't working so it was hot. I ordered a cappuccino and my colleagues ordered a coffee and an iced coffee. The coffee was quite good, though since they were pretty busy it took a little longer than expected to make. This place is pretty big so there's lots of room, but it also gets loud. I'm not going to beat them up for the AC, stuff happens. Very good coffee, friendly staff, not too bad on the pricing, very nice place. I'd go back if I was in the area again. read more

I got their cinnamon latte drink unsweetned with almond milk and I loved the flavors. My sister got a lightly sweetened latte with oat milk and it was delicious as well. We got the chicken empanadas in the morning so they were still hot, crispy, and the meat was still juicy. Later, I came back and got their green drink and the sweet potato toast with goat cheese with the runny poached egg. It was different, but delicious and nutrient dense. Update 12/14/24: Double check your receipts and pricing charge. It's a common trick used by employees to either charge you for an extra item or double charge so they can pocket the extra. Happens in dishonest businesses like some Ctown supermarkets but I'm shocked it's happening here. I would like to think it isn't the owners wrong doing but rather the employees. Feedback provided here so we can all see if the owner will care to ensure this never happens again. For my particular case, the first 2 line items were more than doubled in price. (0.85*4) (1.5*4) I usually don't ask for receipts and usually trust them but the math was off and it wasn't the first time it's happened. read more

Nice coffee shop in Englewood. It came highly recommended from some locals I know and I can see why. Pros: Good coffee. Lots of food options for breakfast and lunch. Lots of seating room and people around. Big, clean, spacious space. Cons: It was very busy when I came in and service wasn't personable like in many coffee shops. It looked like being fluent in Spanish helped some people get better service, but not others. Felt a bit like an assembly line and you needed to get your number and wait for your order. No gluten free options (if there are any, staff didn't know about them). Lunch menu not clearly advertised. There was a window with pastries and a busy menu in the back wall. I knew they had empanadas (not gluten free), but couldn't find them on menu. People kept getting others things I didn't see... not sure why it was that complicated. The place is big but was packed with no room to sit and there were "vultures" waiting for people to get up so they could jump at a table. Overall, it's a cute place with good coffee... but was too stressful for my blood. I ended up getting my coffee and taking it somewhere else. What a lovely jersey gem! I thought it was related to the LA location and it's not but still very fun vibe! They have awesome breakfast sandwiches for $5, a plentiful supply of varying pastries, and ample seating! I got an iced chai latte and their signature dulce de leche stuffed croissant. They had a variety of donuts and all appeared fresh and abundant. Will return again and again! Have to try their fresh juices and shakes, coffee and pastries. There is plenty of seating but with the amount of customers it can still be challenging. This just means the place is popular and rightfully so!! We ordered a Caprese sandwich, a dulce de leche donut, and two coffees. My mom loved her sandwich and I ADORED my donut. What is a pretty worth when the sausage is tiny? Choripan was the thinnest and smallest amount of sausage I've ever seen. I would rate it ZERO stars compared to the smaller mom and pops in the area. The last time I went to PR, I went on an island wide quest to find the best choripan. I would place this choripan dead last, and it's an insult to choripans around the world to even be in the list. It has so little chorizo, it should just be called pan con nada. The chimmichuri is also an insult to chimmichuri everywhere. When I was living in Miami, I used to go to have chimmichuri everywhere, but I had my favorites. In Miami, I don't even know if it's legal to call what they served here chimmichuri. My wife said it had to chimmi but no churri, I'm not sure what that means, but she didn't like it at all. The restaurant was very modern and spacious compared to smaller spots in the area. This is what the future of food looks like, and it has no soul but it's pretty. I rated this place 2 stars instead of 1, mainly because it's pretty. But if I want substance, there's countless small places on this strip with better sandwiches and mas sabor. If you do find yourself here, maybe because you are on a date or came in for the pastries or desserts. The fries were delicious and generous. The dulce de leche cookie was good enough. Finally, the water pressure for the toilet sink was flowing at marginally more than a trickle. I hope the employees have a private toilet where they can wash their hands with better pressure. I ordered a drink called doctors orders and my mom had the green machine. Both were amazing. I knew the carrot cake was very good because I had been gifted some for Mother's Day. However, this review is solely on the fact that I have been over charged for things that wasn't ordered. I almost never look at my receipt and just noticed after several days later that I was charged for 2 almond croissants when I only purchased and received one. This is not the first time this has occurred and it will be the reason I will not be coming back. I came in a little after 11:30 am on Sunday, October 27th. It was very busy and the line was ridiculously long. After about 7-10 minutes later, I was call forward and the woman (Ariana) asked me what I wanted I told her I will be getting a bunch of different items but I will have one almond croissants, she ignores me and then rings up the people in front of me. Why call me if you aren't ready to take my order, I guess we will never know. Then the customers in front of me had a gift card and they was not enough funds to cover the total so they needed to pay $11 plus more. This took a few minutes and all the while I'm still standing there while people behind me were getting their orders and leaving. I was then attended to where she confirmed the one croissant and I order a few other baked goods, sandwiches mini pasty box. I paid and was told to wait on the side for my order. At this point still confused since there were people were getting their order at the register. I was advised that my sandwich was being "prepared" even though there was in the display case and I was asked if I wanted dit warned up to which I said no. But still I had to wait for my order. Today I'm scanning my receipt and notice I apparently ordered 2 almond croissants. This is truly unbelievable. After spending over 20 minutes and bought almost $50 worth of stuff I was changed for something that I didn't order nor received. Again, this is the 3rd time this has happened, why are you people robbing your customers? read more

We got breakfast sandwiches, an avocado toast, spinach empanada, four cheese empanada, lattes, numerous pastries including alfajores, elephant ears, and fresh squeezed juices. Not only was the food wonderful, but the pricing was cheap, with a 20 oz juice only costing $7 or the avocado toast at $8.50. The line to get food was long and stayed pretty steady for the whole time we were there, but it moved quickly. The only challenge was finding a table but it wasn't too long of a wait.
