A 24/7 Turkish bakery?! Whaaaaaat. This was a no brainer for me. I HAD to stop by. The parking situation is a little crazy. They have a lot with maybe 4-5 spaces in front of the store, but it's tiiiiiiny. I'd rather look for street parking nearby. I came by on a late Tuesday night and I was half expecting it to be empty inside, but I was wrong! The bakery is warm, inviting, and clean. There's ample seating (both indoor and outdoor). I noticed that some people had their laptops with them, so maybe it's also a good study/work spot? All of the baked goodies looked appetizing! I explained to the employees that it was my first time trying Turkish pastries and asked for recommendations. Prices are reasonable with most items being around $3-$10 each. I ended up ordering a Turkish coffee and kazandibi (pudding/custard). *Kazandibi (~$8) - This is one of the most best selling items! It's a thick, milky pudding with a golden-brown coating of caramelized sugar. I LOVE custard and pudding so I really enjoyed this. The taste reminded me of vanilla pudding, but more earthy. I also tasted hints of milk and egg whites. The texture was velvety smooth and silky. *Turkish Coffee (~$4)- The presentation was adorable. The coffee came in a cute cup and plate set. The flavor was a lot more intense and bold than other coffees I've tried! I was caught by surprise when I took a gulp of the grounds at the very bottom of the cup... but consider me a fan!!! I will return to try more treats!

It's a cozy cafe with lots of cakes to choose from. I tried the opera, cheesecake, and éclair, and they were all delicious. The coffee was amazing too. I'll definitely go back.

Turkish bakery filled with TONS of goodies and open 24/7... too good to be true, but it is true! This hidden gem is located in a spot where it can be missed. Once here you will have the option to sit inside or outside, but it's what's on the inside that counts. This bakery boosts a ton of heavenly treats, and they offer Turkish coffee and tea. It's a winning recipe when you have a bakery like this that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is unheard of around this area which makes it a hidden gem. FYI: Parking lot is tiny, so pick your spot wisely... or someone will close you in.

Absolutely fall in love with Turkish breakfast!!! First time trying Turkish breakie and it was the best choice. We had ordered each of delicious breakfast menu-Simit plate, Breakfast Plate, Gourmet breakfast plate. Great place to talk, enjoy delicious, healthy breakfast especially kaymak with honey was absolutely yummy! Parking might be a challenge but really enjoyed the time here and the service was amazing! Definitely will come back more often :)

Great Turkish Bakery. We had a really great olive bread shaped like a bagel. And an almond dessert (like rice pudding but with Almonds) topped with pistachios and few almonds. Their baklava was really well made. My friends and I really enjoyed everything we had here. Wish calories and sugar did not restrict us from trying more items. Service was kind and efficient.

    Fruit cake and tea

I ordered a slice of fruit cake with cream and it was very tasty. Not too sweet which I LOVE. The staff are very nice. One of the staff member brought me a cup of tea and it was also tasty and light. Not bitter at all. This was my first time coming here. They are also open 24hrs which is mind blowing. I will definitely come back here.

If you're in the area, do yourself a favor one morning, and pay a visit to Saray bakery. The best part is definitely the food! Some of my favorites are kaymac, börek, poğaça, and sütlaç. I also love their platter (see pic), which comes with kaymak, honey, cheese, olives... you will be in breakfast bliss heaven! This place also ticks all the boxes for affordability and baby-friendliness, making it a go-to spot for families like mine. They are open 24/7, so it's perfect for families whose little one is wide awake, hungry, ready to explore the world at 5 AM. The staff here are also top-notch - friendly, welcoming, and always ready to make good recommendations.

Very cute, clean and welcoming bakery. They have indoor and outdoor seating but today was gorgeous out so I opted for outdoor seating. Although my mouth watered for their desserts , I was too full after I finished my latte and Turkish bagel. The bagel was good, fresh and toasted to a perfect crunch. My coffee was good, not crazy amazing but it did it's job. The service was very fast and very friendly. I love only a couple blocks from here so I can definitely see myself popping in more often.

    Menemen and simit

Simple, but nice interior. Kind stuff, quick service. The food was delicious, fresh. I will definitely go back.

I absolutely fell in love with this place from the moment I walked in. I was at a birthday dinner and we found out at the end of the dinner that they didn't do desserts. I am so happy this place is 24 hours!! I was welcomed with such joy. Everything looked incredible. I only came for a cake and end d up leaving with a slice of tres leches, red velvet, and some baklava as well! It was all so delicious. I absolutely recommend coming here. You can sit in or get take out. But you gotta try it.

We came here the other night for dessert. The kids wanted dessert. My daughter wanted cheesecake. My son wanted a cupcake. I remembered this bakery just opened up. I didn't think they would have these but they did! This is mainly a Turkish bakery. Everything was clean and bright. No labels on the desserts which i dislike. So you have to ask what everything is. So that can be a negative since it would be nice to have an identifier with an explanation of eat items may be. Also no prices. But I think they're moderately priced. We ordered a cupcakes, cheesecake, Turkish custard and a latte. Everything was delcious. We did not like the Turkish custard. But that's due to taste. We did not know what it was. It's sorts sticky mochi consistency. Not a lot of flavor. Parking lot fits about 5 cars. Plenty of seats inside and outside. Well done spot. Caked and baked goods look great. Will come back for more.

They absolutely deserve five stars. I am a big fan of Turkish and Greek coffee, and this place is legit. More importantly, the staff here are so kind, I always feel like they are my family. Whenever I miss Turkish coffee and dessert, I will revisit this place.

We figured while we were grabbing the gift card we just had to try a cookie too. When we arrived, there's a couple steps you go down to get into the store. We went in about 10am on a Saturday, and there was about two people ahead of us. We were helped within minutes, and I ordered the Two Chip Chocolate Chip Cookie, while my partner got the Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookie. I believe each cookie ran a little more than $5/cookie. We threw the cookies in my backpack, got lost going to Trader Joes, and then went back to the hotel (a 40 minute journey) and to our surprise - the cookies were still warm even though it was raining outside! My partner and I demolished those cookies within seconds. They were warm, slightly crispy on the edges, so many chocolate chips inside and chewy in the middle. If I could describe the perfect cookie this would be it. I imagine this would be delightful with a cold glass of milk. I also noticed several people at JFK with Levain bags, so I'm guessing it's common to stock up and bring home. This is end of day food, or prior day's left-over food from stores and restaurants. The items were supposed to be a value of $15, but the items in the bag were not that value, nor were they in-house baked goods. They gave me 2 stale cut up baguettes, which they normally don't even sell, nor are they on their menu. According to the counter staff person, they order them from somewhere else so they can sell them on the weekends. (So they were baked Friday?) The counter staff person said her boss packed the TGTG bag and there was nothing she could do. I question these baguettes: which kitchen were they cooked in? Someone's home kitchen? I've never seen baguettes sold or baked in Reb's store, only desserts. In fact, this is what Barachou advertises: "Handcrafted choux à la crème, tarts, and viennoiseries -- all made fresh daily." Anyway, what I got were 2 stale baguettes which were cut in half so as to fit in the bag and one croissant (that's fine). The baguettes are inedible, and they can't be price verified because they are not even on their menu. If they're going to advertise on TGTG, then they need to honor the intent of the app, and provide the stated value of yesterday's leftover OR extra dessert items. This was bait and switch. Bait & switch means you advertise one deal (ie "$15 value") but replace it with a much cheaper deal. TGTG customers know they are getting day old or end of day items, valued as such. But they should not be shortchanged and given $5-$8 values that are advertised as $15 or $18. The bag should have had something like a cookie and 2 almond croissants or 3 specialized croissants. Even more disappointing as I have shopped here often especially when she was first starting out during the pandemic. Sorry Reb, but you lost me as a loyal customer. ***editing to respond to owner: I've never had a TGTG restaurant regift another restaurant's goods yet claim they are baked fresh in store. I've also never gotten baguettes that are already cut up for me. Do they do it that way in France? Also does Bread's bakery know that you probably buy their baguettes three for $5 special and then probably resell them at your store? Or do they deliver direct to you as one of their vendors? Just curious.

So fun fact they are now advertising Banana Pudding Hot Chocolate and it is NOT actual hot chocolate but banana pudding made to taste like hot chocolate. Why I got so confused? I don't know! Either way I appreciate the guys patience and kindness when explaining it to me twice especially because I did not end up ordering that at all (though it sounds interesting) but I did get the regular actual hot chocolate and it was amazing! It tasted like melted marshmallows were in it! Perfect for a cold winter day. In addition we got to the humming bird cake, a cupcake, and the regular banana pudding. My husband had never been here before so you know we had to get the banana pudding, it's their claim to fame. And it is decent.
