Corner Cafe has a new owner and concept! It is now called Corner Club. The new decor is very bright, colorful, and inviting, and the baristas are very friendly. I ordered a coconut matcha latte, but plan to return to try one of the delicious looking pastries. They also have a selection of sandwiches and gelato. Bagels and drinks here are solid. Vibe is really nice, they sell jewelry here so its like half coffee shop and half retail store. I got a coffee with an everything bagel with feta cheese and it was really solid (8/10) for $8. They have fast wifi (204/60 mbps) on vpn, parking in the back (turn on crescent ave and its on your right), and the lady at the counter is really nice. Recommend! This used to be our favorite cafe for over 4 years. It was a boutique and cafe where shoppers could go upstairs and shop more. They had really unique items from household to jewelry. Now the boutique side has been sold and the cafe is completely stripped of its ambiance. The staff seem cold and the drinks we ordered were okay. It just feels very blah in there now when it used to feel so welcoming. We won't be going back anytime soon. read more

I'm in love with this cafe. It's quite chill and the owner is kind to let my dog hang out here with me, albeit she is small to medium size poodle. The server aka barista is also super kind. He offers my dog water or whipped cream. I often come here for their simit (Turkish bagel) and iced latte (under $10) as a break from my morning weekend walk. We're lucky to have this Corner Cafe (literally) in the neighborhood. One more thing, their hanging plants outdoors are quite lovely and although I have only picked up a bracelet from their store, I find their products a variety of awesome Turkish souvenirs. 11/21 - Food and coffee is average but this is for the woman in the front intimidating customers to leave a tip. There was no other customers in the store, telling someone along the lines of - "the service isn't part of the price and I have to make your order" shouldn't be acceptable behavior. Absolutely love this cute cafe!!! It is a cafe/jewelry/home store all in one. The staff were friendly and I loved the atmosphere. I ended getting a sandwich which could have been better, it was very bland and had more bread than the ingredients in the middle. It did come with a small arugula & grape tomato salad but had no dressing at all (Forgot to take a picture when I initially got it, the salad looked more presentable than the picture below). It was also relatively small for the price of almost $13. I also purchased some unique earrings (which they had a huge selection of for $5) & a bracelet which was $3. This is a great place to buy unique pieces of jewelry/accessories & items for the home as well. A great addition to the ever-growing Cliffside Park cafe scene! I stopped by recently and the place had a great vibe with friends sitting outside in the sun. And as many reviewers mentioned, the place is chic, cute, and conducive to work and chill. I almost didn't want to write a review because the patrons all seemed to have an "insiders look" with the masses not finding out about this gem just yet... but then I also wouldn't have found it. They sell baked goods mostly made by other places, but I tried their homemade mosaic cake (2 slices) which was really moist and delicious. I ordered croissant for the next morning and out came a HUGE (see pic) boomerangssant that I had to rip corner and nibble on. It was very buttery and flaky, a winner. When I said I needed a cold drink that's not coffee since It was after dinner, the pleasant server lady said she can make all tea iced so I had a refreshing cup of iced chamomile tea. I can see myself frequenting this space for breakfast and work. They also seemed to have many unique trinkets/clothings for sale which I'll have to check out next time. read more

I think they sold this place, because when I first started coming here it was so nice and the drinks were good. Now there is a lady in the front who I've seen personally bring forks, spoons, and their drink to a table of Asian ladies, and screamed "READY" and glares over when my drink is ready. I asked her why was that and she said because "those were her friends". Mind you these are people who CLEARLY DON'T PERSONALLY KNOW THIS LADY. And, i'm Black. She knew exactly why I asked. So excited for a new coffee shop in Clifside Park! I love coffee and work in the area and am happy to finally be able to get a latte by work. The coffee shop has lattes and usual coffee options. They even some Turkish coffee. They also have cute cups with a heart shape and reasonably priced cloths made in Turkey. The owner is Turkish and got the entire coffee shop decorated with items that were directly imported from there. There is also a place for children to play. When I walked in there were two toddlers enjoying each other's company while parents dipped coffee. A must try. read more

Very interesting spot. I truly liked the vibe there. I think it is a Turkish coffee shop overall but it's obviously open to everyone. The location is prime. The decoration is awesome , I am a bit confused as to why they sell clothing and other items there as well but it's still very cool. I wish they had more items on the menu, but what they do have they definitely get it right. I had a mocha coffee.... omg ! That was a great great tasting coffee !!! This place is so unique from selling lattes to clothing - I love the idea behind it. It's definitely brings something to the table in an area that's over populated with coffee/pastry shops. I visited Corner Cafe multiple times, and I have to say that the aesthetic is better then the actual drinks/food options. The first time I visited this location, they had a Yelp Check in going on for a Free Almond Croissant and the woman at the cash wrap actually charged me for it instead of taking it off the bill. After that first experience, I thought I'd give them a second chance and came in with a few friends to grab a coffee and some snacks - the drinks were good, but the Spinach pastry I ordered tasted stale. This location has no parking - it's street parking only and on Anderson avenue on a busy day you may have to drive around a bit. read more

Cute little cafe opened up near my moms house in Cliffside Park, so we decided to check it out and picked out some desserts. I should of checked in cause they give you a almond croissant for free. They have a small selection of pastries and a menu with a variety of different coffees. We settled on a eclair and a slice of berry cheesecake. To my surprise, the bill came out to $13 for the both. A bit pricey for the two items we received but I guess the rent in the area is high, so they gotta do what they gotta do. The place was really unique and quaint. After taking my 4 year old daughter to the dentist nearby, I saw this cafe and since my daughter loves hot chocolate and was hungry but had a fluoride rinse so she couldn't eat or drink for 20 mins I figured we could look at the boutique inside to kill some time before trying to order. We walk in and the lady behind the counter just looks at us and doesn't say anything to us...1st strike because I heard her greet the 2 men that walked in right before us. My daughter and I were the only African Americans in there so it led me to believe that had something to do with the rude stares! That's when I should've left, but I saw things on the menu I wanted to try and told my daughter about getting her hot chocolate. All the tables were full, so again we just kept looking around to see what things were for sale waiting for a seat and time to pass. Didn't look like anyone was leaving anytime soon as ppl appeared to be working and relaxing reading so we got ready to leave. As I'm walking out, apparently then is when the woman gained a voice to speak to me. She says in a very nasty tone,"ma'am, ma'am" so I turn around and she says "don't come back here if you're just going to use the bathroom and not going to buy anything!" Mind you I didn't even know this place had a bathroom. So I told her I didn't use the bathroom and that I didn't even know there was one or where it was even located in here. Super cute and quaint coffee (and boutique) place. It hasn't been long since it opened but I can tell they already have regulars because customers will walk in and the workers know them by name. It's a cafe but they also sell couple of items like clothing and house/kitchen stuff as well. The worker I interacted with was nice and sweet. If you have their coffee to stay, they'll bring you the coffee to your table in a cute little mug. A nice little touch. There aren't a lot of tables (5 tables for 2. 1 table for 3, and 1 communal table), so as this place becomes more popular or if you drop by during peak hours, it may be hard to grab a seat. There is free WiFi and there were outlets along one wall so you can definitely get some work done. I got their coffee and a small apple pie (super cute size). Their coffee is very mellow and light. I'm more of a dark roast person so it was on the lighter blend for my taste but still good coffee! And their little homemade apple pie was delish! They also have different danishes, croissants, cakes and macaroons that you can enjoy. Prices reflect any other cafe pricing. So don't walk in expecting cheap coffee. read more

Terrible customers service first time treatment very bad. I wanted to change my drink to Cortado that barista puts to much milk to the point all You taste is milk no coffee. I ask to change my drink and I was told if I want another one I have to pay for a new drink how you charge someone $6.34 for the smallest size cappuccino one shot if espresso. Barista got angry bad attitude don't want to change my drink so I ask for a refund so I ask why are you like that. I got ask to leave and she treating me to call the cops for absolutely nothing. The bad: my first time there I ordered an Iced Matcha Latte with almond milk - it was the worst matcha I ever tasted in my decade of drinking them. (Super grainy and thick like a protein powder) it did not taste like real matcha, and prob not melted in hot water first properly. Owners should fix this. Asked for an exchange for an iced coffee and the lady was kind enough to change it for me, but gave me 4 iced cubes that melted instantly (so my iced coffee had no ice when she handed it to me) and gave me stale tasting iced coffee that was so bad I had to dump it. The good: Interesting cafe set up with also selling clothes and jewelry. Inside decor was nice so I'll give it a star for that. Service was neutral - gave me what I wanted without really any smiles or small talk but no complaints there. Message to the owners: Sharing this as feedback to the owners, because I was super excited to try this place but was really disappointed and unlikely to return. As a cafe, I think if you focus on quality of your drinks, more business will come. If you ever upgrade invite me back and I will rewrite this review. read more
