He and my husband conversed about the desserts. The wait time was reasonable. Since we ordered to go, everything was packed so neatly. The waffle was delicious and we really enjoyed our bubble tea. First is the CROFFLE: Short for Croissant-Waffle. I didn't think anything of it but I was forced to buy it because they ran out of regular croissants. I was reluctant but she convinced me to try it! I don't get easily surprised but this homemade pastry is TO DIE FOR! It literally tastes like a croissant because it is made out of croissant dough but cooked like a waffle. This gives the crunchy effect of a waffle on the outside combined with a chewy inside that is made to order in a few minutes! You have a selection of eight sweet and three savory flavors to choose from but I like the plain with butter and may be some preserves, just like a warm flaky croissant. The second is the taiyaki in Japanese or boong-uh-bbang in Korean literally means goldfish bread because it is made in the shape of a large goldfish. It is filled with one of three flavors: Red bean, vanilla custard or Nutella. It takes about 12-minutes to make but they are really good too. The ambience is quaint, warm charming and somewhat nostalgic! Everything is clean and tidy too! The service is good and prompt. It is a little expensive, especially the goldfish bread ($4/piece; minimum of 4/order, so $16), but well worth the flavor explosion! This mini-cafe/desert place is a jewel and a find among the industrial giants that punch out the same -old, same-old and I recommend it highly, especially for the "Croffle" and the "Goldfish Bread!"
