Cafe Hesed is always a pleasant visit. During this visit, we enjoyed their food and coffee. Our beverages were: Lavender Chai Latte & a Cappuccino. Their coffees are always on point and thoroughly enjoyed. Our food orders were: Avocado Toast, with a side salad, and the Aglio E Olio, with Chicken Noodle Soup. I cannot give enough kudos to the Avocado Toast. I loved how they placed the sliced poached egg on the toast and then tomatoes, on top of the egg. The pasta was amazing, the cheese blended perfectly throughout the pasta noodles and made you savor each forkful with your eyes closed...enjoying each flavorful ingredient dancing throughout your palette. With the orders of the entrees, we were given three FREE donuts and they were deliciously sweet and soft. Just another nice touch that will keep customers returning. I highly recommend Cafe Hesed for a simple cup of coffee or a meal, with free perks, and pleasant surroundings. Either way, you'll enjoy your stay.

We stopped by Café Hesed in Little Ferry and it was such a refreshing treat! We ordered the choco bingsu, and wow -- the shaved ice was super light and airy, almost fluffy, and it melted in your mouth. The chocolate flavor was just right, not too sweet, and paired perfectly with the chocolate drizzle, ice cream, and wafers on top. Also tried the yuzu iced tea with honey, and it was so refreshing -- the kind of drink that cools you down instantly on a hot day. It had a nice citrusy tang balanced with a hint of sweetness from the honey. The café is clean, cozy, and has a relaxed vibe. Definitely a hidden gem in the area if you're looking for quality Korean desserts and drinks. Will be back to try more!

Look at the inconsistent size also.

Ordered a snack, took 1/2 hr to make when the whole place was empty. They blamed it on the equipment. I told then they should've warned customers ahead of time. When i asked to cancel after 15 mins of waiting, they kept saying it's almost ready and refused. Took them another 10 mins. Afterwards, the snack was undercooked, look at the pics and i had to bake it when i got home. The same snack at Mitsuwa would take 5 mins to make.

They said a dollar for mochi lol. No toppings other than the mango

Their bingsoo in the past usually comes with a scoop of ice cream and mochi. You can see it in photos. This time, they are telling me I have to pay a dollar for mochi..? That's ridic. It's already a $15 bingsoo with only fruit. Literally the most plain bingsoo in the area.

Located in a little strip mall right beside the Little Ferry H Mart, this little cafe serves a number of different bakery goods as well as hot food. Mochi donuts and different kinds of drinks, but also some random Korean hot food dishes and chicken wings. Mixed bag of menu items. I tried a mochi donut, it was very soft, almost a little too much and while initially I thought the frosting wasn't enough, it turned to be quite sweet and sticky. Not the best much mochi donut I've had, but certainly not the worst, either. Service was okay, they initially gave me the wrong donut, but corrected it once I pointed it out. No napkins included unless you ask.

This is one of my favorite cafe to grab lunch whenever I'm in NJ. The standout dish was definitely the fish burger to me, which I always order when I'm there. I also love their refreshing homemade soda, which added a unique touch to the meal. To top it all off, we received complimentary mochi donuts, which were a lovely surprise. The garlic bread and fries were also tasty with the soup, and the prices were very reasonable. The cafe has a beeper system that vibrates to notify customers when their order is ready. I do recommend this restaurant for its delicious food. Inside feels very cozy.

Yesterday my husband and I stopped in at Cafe Hesed. We ordered two teas and a matcha bingsoo to share. So you order from the counter, pay, and then wait for your number to be called to pick up your order. The place has lots of seating. My husband found a two-person table and we waited. Our teas came out first - peppermint tea and a black clove tea (Harney & Sons tea - good quality). The bingsoo took a little longer since it was being prepared. We got it with the add-on red bean and rice cake to try it out. Worth the wait! So light, fluffy, and refreshing! The staff that night were very friendly and helpful. It was my first time there, so I had asked a few questions while ordering and they were patient with me. Plus, that bingsoo is serious - we couldn't finish. So I went up and asked for a cover. The woman behind the counter pleasantly said "no problem" and got me one. There was a steady stream of customers, and they were still nice. That matters a lot. Cafe Hesed - Very much recommended if you're in Little Ferry!

Been here about two times, trying to give them a second try. First time I got hot chocolate. Was not overly impressed. Seemed too watery/watered down to be that enjoyable for me. Second time I had gotten a variation of mochi donuts. Although the top of them were good, somehow all the donuts were stale. To be fair, we did go in the nighttime so maybe it could have been made earlier in the day. Most likely won't be going again cause it was overpriced tbh and I've seen cheaper and better in Paris Baguette.

Ambiance is great. Looking like an amazing place to come chill, hang out, and wait for your seat to be ready from the Cast Iron restaurant next door. The coffee was alright. Nothing special and nothing despicable, just alright

Stopped into Café Hesed to meet some friends. This is in the plaza with the big Hmart in Little Ferry, so there is ample parking. They have a bright seating area with choices of sofas or regular tables. This is a counter service restaurant. Place your order at the counter and they call you when it's ready. We had bubble teas and mochinuts. I had the Thai bubble tea prepared with oat milk and it was delicious. A very comfortable Cafe with good food to catch up with old friends.

Cute cafe along Bergen Turnpike, its beside Hmart and Daiso so you can't miss it! Location: It is located along Bergen Turnpike. There is a lot of seating inside and they have nice decorations depends on the holiday! Service: This is self service. You order and they will call if your food is ready. Food: It was meh. We ordered bubble tea and the flavors were taro, matcha and thai tea. The only good one was the thai tea, the rest is just bland and just tastes milk. Their bubble tea is also like a shake not liquid. Their mochi donuts were good, we tried the Cookies and cream. Cake pops were hard as candy, but taste good inside. Price rating: 7/10. The hot food choices were bit pricey. Maybe ill give this cafe another chance and try their hot foods.

Whether you come for a quick bite or dine in. There are options for everyone between a bakery good, meal, soups, snacks, or drinks. I got the chicken quesadillas. The taste was good, very filling. It was different to not have enough cheese on it. The mushrooms and chicken held its own. The other was a soup. The tea drink wasn't worth its price knowing they just give you a cup with the tea bag in. Nothing special. We thought it would be a specialty mint tea drink. There is plenty of room to dine in. Decor was welcoming, located in a shopping center within a big parking lot. Prices were expensive depending on what you ordered. Service was okay. All forms of payment are accepted.

We go to NJ for grocery shopping at some of the Asian Supermarkets. One of them is H Mart in Little Ferry, and we were delighted when Cafe HESED opened up in the same building complex. They serve breakfast, lunch, desserts, and other light bites. We started to go there in April of 2022, relatively soon after they first opened, and we go there almost every time we go to H Mart. We've tried many dishes, such as House Burger, Egg & Cheese Sandwich Special, Croque Madam, Smoked Salmon Toast, Prosciutto and Ricotta Toast, Spaghetti alla Carbonara, Chicken Milanese Spaghetti to name a few. The food is pretty darn good, and the portion is great too. Some of them might be slightly pricey for the location, but you get lots of food! We did try some of their cakes and desserts too, and I say stick to their savory dishes... That is all I am going to say on that matter. Their latte and other drinks are nice, a bit on the sweet side if you get flavored drinks. They have young staffs, who are polite enough, but not very friendly. Since this is not a restaurant, you don't really deal with them too much, so it hasn't bothered us. They keep the place clean, and we always get tasty food, so we are always happy to go for a brunch.

We ordered a classic sausage, egg, and cheese on a roll and this time, I also wanted to investigate their bagel game. I ordered an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese and it took just a few bites to remind this newly transplanted Southerner that bagels in the Northeast are in a league of their own. Food comes out fast. We both watched admiringly from our tables as the short order cooks moved like tornados at the grill, furiously beating bowl after bowl of eggs to fulfill the counter endless string of orders. That's another thing. During the whole half hour we dined at a table, things never quieted. As soon as a table cleared, someone else would grab it right away. Over the years, I've found that when in doubt, it's best to follow the crowds. On most Saturday mornings, it seems this is the place where all the crowds in Ridgefield Park are congregating. This breakfast spot is as local as it gets. As a lover of small business, I can't tell you secretly happy I get to see lines at the door here while the Dunkin Donuts across the street languishes.

Java Day Cafe came up and it was really close to both of us so we decided to come here. The place is nestled in a small strip mall with other stablishments so luckily that means there's ample parking. There's also a fair amount of seating. You order at the counter and let them know if you want to take your food to go or if you'd like to dine-in. I was pretty hungry coming off a 12-hour shift so I got the Hungryman sandwich with a hash brown on the side. They have a few options as far as French toast goes and my girlfriend decided on Nutella stuffed. Our food came out rather quickly considering how busy they seemed to be. A few other parties were dining in and a good amount of people picked up takeout. My sandwich was much bigger than I anticipated but it was delicious. The various meats brought the saltiness and savory flavor I was looking for and it all paired well with the eggs and cheese. The bread it was served in had a nice crunch to it which is always appreciated. The sandwich was great but the next time I get it I have to add the SPK (salt, pepper, ketchup for you non-Jerseyans). I also tried some of my girlfriends French toast. It looked really good and I think I saw them take a picture before bringing it to our table. I'm not mad at that, as a Yelper I'm a firm follower of phone-eats-first! The French toast was delicious. It wasn't overly sweet and the bread had the all-important crunch. Walnuts also added good texture to everything. I think the only thing stopping me from rating this place 5-stars is the price. It's definitely on the pricier side. My girlfriend and I got coffees with our food and everything came out to a few bucks short of $50. Nevertheless, a very solid breakfast spot. I could see myself coming back. I found it weird that they have such nice plates but they only have plastic utensils. Not a knock on them, just a quirky thing I noticed.

I especially appreciated the way the owner greeted everyone who enters and thanked everyone who leaves with notable warmth and small-town friendliness. We ordered a Santa Fe salad and an L.A. burger - which comes with avocado, bacon, onion, lettuce, and tomatoes. The burger was pretty standard, but having it delivered on a warm brioche bun feels a little bit special. The accompanying fries were also great - crisp and potatoey on the inside. The salad, on the other hand, was a near triumph. Served on a large platter, there was a small field of well-seasoned chicken, shredded cheddar, vegetables, avocado, pico de gallo, and - best yet - some pieces of warm, toasted pita. I even sprinkled some pieces of bacon from my burger into this salad, and wow did that take it over the top. I dug into this salad with fair gusto and would absolutely come back for it...which is saying something, since I wouldn't expect to fall in love with a salad at a diner.
