Met owner who was very nice and informative. Inside has approx 5 tables ( x4), each with a Connect Four game....also an arcade PacMan machine. Amazing assortment of breakfast and anytime sandwiches. Hot or Cold. BLTs or Parms, even the infamous Jersey Fat sandwiches are represented here ( called FCK Your Diet Sandwiches) Brand name sodas as well as a large collection of Boylan's sodas and other drinks. Good brand of assorted chips ( Kettle?) Breakfast sandwiches usually on a seeded Kaiser roll and the rest served on a seeded semolina hero that is baked & brought in from NY daily....it is perfect for these sandwiches; not too hard or soft.. Here are some that I tried: --The Christopher Sandwich ( hot sandwich) comes with hot roast beef, pepper jack cheese ( I changed it to provolone), onion rings, arugula and horseradish aioli. Served on a seeded semolina hero that is baked & brought in from NY daily....Amazing! everything so fresh; the perfect bread. Loads of ingredients, all the flavors underlined with tat Horseradish aioli....and it's named after ME! LOL great sandwich. --The Rob Sandwich (cold sandwich) with turkey, avocado, bacon, lettuce, tomato, red onion and lime aioli. ...Besides being Delish it felt so healthy as everything was so fresh! --Burrata Combo with Hot & Sweet Soppressata, Ham, Prosciutto, Burrata, Arugula & House Vodka Sauce. Served on a Seeded Semolina Hero. ( look at how packed the picture is) I dare you to read the menu and know what to choose right away. Bring friends to share!........I can't wait to try some of the other sandwiches. We need one of these near Paramus ( just not in a mall please!) HIGHly recommended!

Cafe August - Rose Pasta

What a truly pleasant surprise this café is! My husband and sister-in-law wanted a late night sweet…read moretreat and everything was already closed. With our options limited, we decided to try Café August. We ordered the strawberry Nutella croffle, matcha shaved ice, pineapple sparkling ade and white peach sparkling ade. Everything was 10/10. The croffle was the perfect "appetizer" to introduce us to a night of sweets. It came out promptly, looked gorgeous, and was ideally crunchy with juicy strawberries on top. The shaved ice was my favorite. We opted for the bowl, which easily fed three people, and could have possibly fed five. The shaved ice was sweet, fluffy, dusted with matcha powder, and had what felt like endless toppings, including matcha ice cream, red bean, mochi, and more. There were enough toppings for everyone! The drinks deserve their own review- they are spectacular with a frozen teddy bear ice cube on top. Such cute presentation! The pineapple flavor was slightly stronger, and the white peach was subtler and very refreshing. We could not stop playing with and admiring the frozen teddy bears. Overall, this shop feels underrated compared to other spots on Broad Ave. Would would definitely come here again and so nice that they are open late. Thank you, Café August! PS. Their dainty silverware is very classy, too.

Food 4/5 Dessert 3/5…read more Drinks 2.5/5 Service 3.75/5 Ambience 4.25/5 Great for pastas and pizza, but skip the coffee and dessert. I came here with high expectations based on the reviews, and while the food was decent, a few things fell short. We tried a variety of pastas: Rose Shrimp, Rose Chicken, Seafood Cream, Tomato Meat Sauce, Toowoomba Shrimp, and Truffle Mushroom. They are all very rich, creamy, but also heavy, and tasted good for what they are. The Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza was also a hit, loved how cheesy it was, though I personally wished for a bit more sauce and a crispier crust. The Drinks & Dessert: This is where I was disappointed. The coffee tasted like a basic office espresso, which was a letdown. As for the Bingsoo, it didn't quite hit the mark. If you're looking for a great Bingsoo, I'd recommend Blossom right next door instead. Come for a filling, creamy pasta lunch/dinner, but grab your coffee and dessert elsewhere!

Mood 'Wiches is basically a health/fitness lover's safe place. They offer tons of healthy options…read morefrom sandwiches to salads to bowls to smoothies to raw juices and so on... I had one hell of a sandwich here. If you're a tuna lover, I recommend ordering the SPICY TUNA MELT (~$12). There's a very generous amount of tuna in it along with swiss, red onions, tomatoes, basil, and chipotle mayo. The bread is buttered and toasted, so every bite is just a dreeeeeam. My only complaint is that it was overpriced for its size. I finished it in a couple of bites and was still hungry... I also bought one of their juices, the Ginger Lemon-Aid (~$6). I'm a sucker for ginger and I was not disappointed with this at all. Their juices are freshly pressed in-house and you can really taste the quality of each ingredient. The main thing deterring me from coming back here often are the higher prices and small portions. There are so many spots that serve sandwiches just as good at half the price. It's still worth a try, though. You get 15% off 1 meal + 1 drink when you check in. There's parking in the back of the store. The store is pretty small, but there's a few tables and bar seating for dining in. Service wasn't too friendly when I first came in, but they brought my food to my table in good timing.

Bob-O's Cheesesteaks - Regular cheesesteak

This simple makeup of ribeye, cheese, onions, and fresh bread is what makes the sandwich so alluring to anyone. A great cheesesteak requires an even mixing of the parts. That means the cheese is melted and mixed with each crevice of the beef and onions. The bread encases the entirety. Every single bite should be consistent with the last and the next. However, in Jersey, one might think the best cheesesteaks only come from the boardwalks. Voted the Best Cheesesteak in Bergen County according to their website, my partner and I decided to pay a visit to Bob-O's Cheesesteaks, located on Main Street in Ridgefield Park, for lunch. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the staff at a simple and clean interior. Lighting is basic and bright with a row of full windows with single seating providing a more spacious feel as well as 4 tables indoors and 5 tables for outdoor dining during pleasant weather. Their big-size menu is featured on the wall with cheesesteaks, egg rolls, sides, and much more. We decided on the Bob-O Sandwich, Chicken Cutlet Sandwich, and Onion Rings. Food was prepared fresh per order. The sandwiches were really delicious and served hot. However, the peppers used on the Bob-O killed it. It looked like roasted peppers from the jar were used and not the fresh peppers sautéed with onion. The onion rings were hot, crispy with no oil or sogginess and didn't skimp. The portions were huge, and the price was comparable to the area. Service was fast and friendly. Despite this hiccup, we would give this place another try.

The prices are the same, but you get an extra topping when you order the BYO. If you aren't craving an original sandwich, you can always order fat sandwich style versions of a cheesesteak, such as the disco and the ron man. Both of these monsters also had their share of shaved rib eye, but the disco was loaded with poutine and the ron man had chicken fingers & mozzarella sticks. It was an interesting, but satisfying combination. The hot daddy was not so hot, in my honest opinion. Having the appearance of a tuna fish sandwich and topped with raw onions, the taste didn't suit me. I think the onions would have tasted a lot better if they were sautéed. I recommend their traditional and specialty cheesesteaks in a heartbeat if you are craving some hearty meat! #cheesesteak #hotdaddy #TheDisco #FatSandwich #ridgefieldparknj #buildyourowncheesesteak #onionrings beneath all this goodness are bell peppers and sautéed onions.
