Italian sub is great here the rest I haven't tried yet but overall service is fast and friendly!

Well any port in a storm. When there is nothing else it is a good representation of a sandwich. But when there is better options available I will always choose a local deli over a franchise. IMHO, the taste of the protein is ok, nothing to write home about, the quantity for the price is lacking. The produce and bread has always been fresh. The service is usually quick and friendly. For.this location I can walk across the street to the supermarket and get name brand cold cuts on the bread of my choice with the exact quantity of protein I order for less money. read more

Love the Jersey Mike's.... Heard great reviews from friends who live in Fort Lee area, and decided to first cold subs in a Saturday afternoon (7/10/2021). We love the cold subs - more than thr hot ones, so obviously, we opted for the Original Italian with all sorts of meat !!!! My husband doesn't want the vinegar since it makes the hero soggy, but that tangy acid is what makes mine tasty. Meat portion was very generous, and the add ins were correctly done. I have seen quite a lot of negative reviews about the staff demeanor at the store, but since this was the Uber delivery, I would joy be able to comment on that. I've always had a consistently good experience with this location. The sandwiches are always well made exactly as specified and always very tasty. Sadly this is located also in one of the most annoying and busy strip malls in Fort Lee and parking is always tricky, along with some treacherous drivers who prowl the lot. There's also an annoying amount of people who sit in this lot who leave the engine running, so keep that in mind if you're stopping by here to get a sandwich in a hot second. The delivery from here is generally pretty fast, of course depending on the driver you get ... but in terms of the hot and cold options I've ordered, they do a good job of packing the food and keeping it in good shape by the time you consume it. I've had the cheesesteaks and the tuna subs here the most in terms of the options I've tried and they area always pretty good. Can't go wrong with this place, just be mindful of the annoying strip mall! read more

I never write reviews because things are never that bad or good for me to devote my time do write a review. However, shame on you Jersey Mikes. I received two sandwiches today: #17 and #42. Both were entirely inedible. I eat at Jersey Mikes quite frequently, some are better than others but these two sandwiches from Fort Lee Jersey Mikes were both at a new low. I unchecked peppers and the sandwich was filled with peppers. If I could give a lower rating than a one, I wouldn't hesitate. I will never be ordering from this Jersey Mikes in the future. This is my first time having Jersey Mike's subs. It was my birthday recently so I had a free sandwich after downloading the app. This location is very chaotic with traffic and parking so easy in and out it's not gonna happen. However the staff here was very friendly. I got the original Italian with everything on it. They give you a solid portion of meats and do everything in front of you with the slicer in making the sandwich. As far as chain sandwhich shops go, Jersey Mike's is way better than Blimpie, Subway, or Fire house. I came here to grab lunch on a Friday afternoon. I ordered the regular #13 The Original Italian (provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, and pepperoni) since it's my favorite sandwich on the menu. They have hot subs but I'm not a fan. They definitely do cold subs better. They put a lot of meat and the sandwich is pretty hefty. I usually get it Mike's Way (onions, lettuce, tomatoes, olive oil, red wine vinegar, and oregano). I eat a lot of subways and this is definitely a step above for a similar price. for about $8 you get a smaller sub than at subway's but it's higher quality and the regular size is a "just enough" serving for a relatively hungry person. definitely have the coldcut sandwiches Mike's way (herbs, red wine vinegar, etc). I'm so so glad that Jersey Mike opened in my town. Just tasted chipotle cheesesteak (hot sub) and roast beef and provolone (cold sub) for dinner, and they both taste amazing. Interior is clean and the staffs are nice. They acknowledge you and quickly prepare your order. Price is reasonable, and most of all, the subs taste amazing! Bread was fresh crispy crust and soft fluffy interior tasty roast beef but 12 bucks for what I call a small sandwich combo. Just disappointing. What really grind my gears is the it only had four thinly shaved slices of meat. Shaved so thin it had no mouth feel, like eating mush. All I tasted was lettuce at first bite. After removing half the shredded greens I could finally taste the beef but it didn't satisfy my roast beef craving. It wasn't fully 9:00 pm, your door was open, you still had customers eating; & you never even asked me what I wanted or needed. You ALL just sang "we're closed!" You had customers eating, your door was open, it was a minute or two until 9:00pm, & you didn't ask me one question - you simply told me you were closed. I guess it depends on who's making your sub but had a horrible experience. Ordered two subs both of which the bread was sliced horribly. Top portion was about 3 times the thickness of the bottom. Could hardly bite through the top. I mean come on... Can't even sliced the bread in half correctly? While the young man was making my horrible subs I looked around and it was DIRTY. The counters, the floor, everywhere... And thats only what I was able to see. Just imagine the kitchen in the back. So yes, the subs were horrible, service horrible and the place was dirty. Definitely needs new management. Will not be eating here again ever. OH yea... just as soon as the guy finishes slicing the roast beef for one of my subs, he takes the dried up inedible end piece of the roast beef and just tosses onto the middle of my sub...? Rather a Boring Hero of over loaded lettuce, onions, ham and cheese. No capicola, prosciutto or salami. The cheese was on the bottom of the sandwich. Yummy subs! I just had the original mini Italian sub Mikes way! It was absolutely delicious. It reminded me of the subs we used to have at Palisades Amusement Park. It was really really good. Not a good start. Being asked to stand outside on a cold and rainy night at 5:45 pm. I would think it's a busy night and just because a "D" list Instagram celebrity is taking pictures, you wouldn't make paying customers stand outside. I'll give the staff credit for apologizing and doing the "right" thing. A few disgruntled customers walked away but since I had done an online order, I was taken care of. Now onto the food. The Italian sub was ok. A little light on the ingredients, but a least it wasn't a bread and lettuce sandwich. The turkey provolone was also just ok. We also ordered a Buffalo Wrap which was a hit with my family. 3 stars for now. Mostly because I had to wait in the cold and rain. We'll see how they do if we return. read more

The Jersey Mike's in Fort Lee, NJ 07024 opened roughly 30 days ago. As of 11/7/18, there were 6 reviews (five 1-star reviews and one 5-star review for an average of 1.5-stars). Given I have been there 6 times to use promotional coupons, I absolutely understand the 1-star reviews. Yet four relatively new Yelpers (with 1 review, 2 reviews, 2 reviews and 11 reviews, respectively, connected to their profile) all posted 5-star ratings as the store was opening today? I do not buy the authenticity of those most recent reviews for one second. Employees are nice but not well-trained by the managers, even accounting for the fact that the business is new and a few hiccups are to be expected. The subs are pricey for both the quality and quantity. For $10, I can go across the street to ACME and get a pound of higher quality turkey or ham. The roast beef is actually pretty good, provided it isn't the well-done end portion that I have been served 5 out of 6 times. Those odds, however, will keep me away in the future. Jersey Mike's protects its meat like it is their first born child so I shouldn't be surprised when they serve below-average bread with roast beef shavings for $10. The stock business photos on Yelp are from the Point Pleasant Beach location (which I frequent 3-4x per year each summer). Jersey Mike's must be worried about our waistlines up in Fort Lee because the Fort Lee subs are clearly the 'poor cousins' of the subs in the photos and in Point Pleasant Beach. I have overheard numerous customers complain about the product and slow service. NOW, in the last hour, 4 people have written 5-star reviews praising the establishment. This is implausible. Three independent Yelpers would just happen to post 'outlier reviews' at effectively the same time (10:30am, near store opening) after a month in business? These reviews bear no resemblance to the prior reviews or my many experiences. Please do not be fooled by these manufactured reviews and help keep Yelp businesses honest by reporting suspect reviews. Let's post pictures of actual subs with prices and let the actual product speak for itself. *** I had to update my review to account for the 4TH 5-star review, which was posted as I typed my review. They close at 9pm and they start cleaning at 7:45pm unheard of. I can understand cleaning 20 mins prior closing but an hour before closing?? chairs up, wet floor and people walking on slippery floor while conducting business. A kid, I believe a wanna be manager, not trained and has no understand of restaurant management argues with customer to justify wrong doing, makes no effort to accommodate customers and argues with customer. First, it is a pleasure -- and a rarity-- to find an owner (manager?) who is behind the counter working hard, alongside his team. This Jersey Mike's has this and you can see how hard and fast he is working. The crew of mostly young people are professional and well trained. Every time I have visited, there has been a line, but it moves super fast. The sandwiches are delicious and both the bread and meats are fresh. I found Jersey Mike coincidentally when i went to Kura sushi in the same mall. I've seen their TV commercial a lot and some celeb like Kim Kardashian's friend Jonathan Cheban is often talking about Jersey Mike on his instagram. So I was so curious to go see how good their subs are. I went to there even though I was so full after eating tons of sushi from Kura sushi. I ordered the classic Ham and cheese Jersey shore subs and My Bf got a big kahona sub. OMG taste was so delicious! I didn't expect such a good meal. Best subs in my entire life. I don't know if they use all organic and NON GMO ingredients but, their ingredients are very fresh and tasty!!!
