We came here because it was just way more accessible than Hirams. This place takes card/applepay and you can order through DoorDash and grubhub as well meanwhile the other place is cash only and well.. that's it. I got their chili cheese dog and shared a side of fries. The chili was seasoned so nicely. It doesn't come with cheese so you gotta specify that you want cheese on it. Service was fast and friendly too. A great spot.
When I found out that the Ribeye steak frites is back, I've decided immediately that's what I'm having for lunch. I had to remind myself to slow down and enjoy it, don't rush.

Getting the double cheeseburger combo is such a great deal for around $15 you will be FULL with fries and a drink. If you aren't a fan of lettuce tomatoes pickles, I recommend getting the double swiss shroom dijon burger which has caramelized onions and mushrooms. Their fries are also super fresh, hand cut, and delicious. I wasn't a huge fan of their poutine because it was super watery. Same with their chili, the flavor kind of reminded me of canned food. Ive tried their chili dogs on multiple occasions and felt the same each time. Very generic I would skip the hotdogs. Staff there is super friendly and if you sit outside they will bring the food out to you. Overall, very solid burger joint.
We have been to Marty's many times. It's a Fort Lee staple if you have not gone yet. Ranging from combo meals to single ones as a standalone. You can enter from inside the building or outside entrance. Burgers are always fresh. Fries are cut from directly from the potato. Always so good.
Came here during lunch, my friend suggested this spot and I been eyeing this place for a while. I have heard only good things about this place so was looking forward to it. Placed a to go order of the double cheeseburger combo ($15.99) with smoked bacon ($1.50). The burger was really juicy and tasty. It had an interesting sauce, their house sauce, can't pinpoint exactly what it is but it went well with the burger. I was really stuff after that meal. If you're in the mood for a burger, I would recommend this spot.

Their burgers are consistently of high quality and have fresh ingredients. I initially tried their classic single burger without the cheese, but chose "The BBQ" burger this time. It was absolutely delicious! The onions and bacon were perfectly crisp, the jalapeños added a subtle spiciness, and the smoke sauce brought it all together. Also, this is one of the few selections that allows a substitution of vegan cheese. I don't tolerate dairy, so this is ideal. The only disappointment was the fries. They were ok the first time, but a bit over-done this time. Their flavor was also lacking a bit. Perhaps the seasoned versions taste better.
I used to loveee Marty's burgers. They've become a bit less consistent with the flavors in the past two years or so. I wouldve given a 5 star rating 3 years ago because the burgers tasted deliciouss before. Now the burgers are good but it hasn't really stood out to me much recently. Appearance wise it's beautiful though, nice packaging and the inside of the shop is nice as well. There's some seating and a bathroom inside. Service is nice as well. I've tried around 5 different burgers, fries & their chicken sandwich from here. Overall, I'd rate the food a 7.2/10

Grabbed a burger from Marty's for a late dinner on a weeknight. It's a small quick service restaurant, where you order at the register and pick it up at the counter. There aren't many tables, so I think it's mostly for takeout. The menu is short. They have burgers, chicken sandwiches, grilled cheese, hot dogs, and fries. They also have various toppings that can go on any of their sandwiches. I ordered a double cheeseburger and fries, and they soon called me up. The burger I got looked great. The veggies were surprisingly fresh and flavorful. The lettuce and tomato was crispy and sweet, while the pickles were crunchy and tart. There were also chopped onions on the burger. The patties were smashed, but still very juicy, with the cheese well melted. The burger actually looked better than advertised! The fries were made from fresh cut potatoes, and they definitely tasted like it. The burger is almost perfect. My only complaint is that the burger was too soft. The meat was flavorful, but it was so soft you could probably get away with not chewing. I would have liked a little more texture and bite in the beef patty. The only things in the burger that weren't very soft were the crunchy pickles and slightly crisp lettuce and tomato. Prices are actually really good. Their double cheeseburger combo is currently only $12.50, whereas a Baconator combo at Wendy's currently sets you back $11.99. I would definitely recommend Marty's to anyone looking for a good burger.

I waited to order while a family of 5 in front of me had questions about everything on the menu and then had to customize everything in their order! Not the restaurant's fault! After waiting 5 minutes for the family to be done ordering it's my turn. Now the cashier has to replace the receipt tape and then reprint the family's large order, twice. I'm ready to pass out! Finally, I get to order my spicy chicken combo. It was relatively busy, but my food was ready in a reasonable amount of time. I'm dining in, and it's a good thing because my fries were at best warm, and would have been stone cold had I taken my order to go. I don't know how fries can be warm and limp when the restaurant is busy. My spicy chicken sandwich was a bit sloppily made and undercooked! It wasn't raw and I didn't get sick from it, but it definitely could have used another minute or two in the fryer. There were 3 workers behind the counter. One fellow who seemed unhappy and two space cadets, who were pleasant. Had this been my first visit, I don't know that I would return, but I'll put this meal down as an off day and I'll be back hoping for a great meal as in the past.
If you're craving a delicious burger, you can't go wrong with Marty's! (Fort Lee) We got double cheeseburgers delivered, and they truly hit the spot. The patties were juicy and savory, perfectly balanced with a bun that isn't overly bulky. We paired them with a shared order of fries, which was just the right portion. Excellent prices ($$) and solid delivery packaging. Kudos to the team for maintaining such amazing quality and flavor! read more

Been wanting to try Marty's for a while and recently got the chance to do so. We stopped by on a Friday at around 6:15, and there were some people dining in but most seemed to be getting food to go. Since we wanted to try both the burger and the chicken, we got a combo of each. The Cheeseburger + Original Fries + Soda Can and the Crispy Chicken Sandwich + Original Fries + Soda Can. It's a pretty good deal if you compare it to similar burger/chicken spots, or even Shake Shack. Plus, the sandwiches are bigger here. Hubby and I each went halfsies on the two. I enjoyed both, thought I can't remember now which one I liked more (but it's usually the burger in these situations). Fries are okay. I could probably skip these next time and just go for a Double. We ended up getting the banana pudding for dessert, and that was pretty good as well. It seems like a sleeper hit since people probably tend to get a shake with their burger + fries, but definitely check it out! Tip - there's no free parking, but there is a municipal parking lot that's pretty big read more

Ohhh Marty's. I should've given you a review sooner. Honestly I only eat the fried chicken sandwich and truffle parm fries here. When you get it fresh (I think it mostly depends on how many stops the food courier has to make before they get to you, so you probably want to do pick up), the fries have good flavor and crispiness to them. They also smell SO good. I have to admit the chicken sandwiches aren't always super consistent, but I'm still giving five stars because when it's good, it's GOOD. And I still love them even when they're not at their best Super juicy inside with nice soft buns that are toasted on the inside - very important detail for me - and hold everything together. Try eating it with some spicy aioli or kewpie mayo on the bun if you have any on hand! read more

This review is based on delivery takeout. Let me start off by saying, first time and sadly, last time here. The burger - so soggy so greasy, just holding it kind of makes you feel dirty. I did the burger test and just tried the meat by itself and it just tasted of grease. No flavor, no smoke, no spice just - grease. Also, some of the patty just straight up looks not cooked. I like a nice medium burger but this was just cooked uneven. Not gonna lie, it went in the bin after two bites. I've had burgers like this before and I don't want to deal with the repercussions of a bad burger. You KNOW what i'm talking about. The fries - soggy i'm gonna have to air fry them to call them fries before I even try them. But from what I tasted, better than BK - no where near as good as McDonalds. I understand this is delivery, but restaurants have figured out how to keep fries crispy. So that delivery sog, ain't really an excuse anymore. Bros gotta figure it out like the other establishments have. Mac and cheese - it's not bad - but i've had mac and cheese at other fast food joints that were just as good if not better. It's not creamy, but it is flavorful and thankfully, not greasy. It's not Kraft, but it is in no way a crave of flave, you dig? This place seems to have a lot of hype and that's about it. Listen, when your S.O. says, maybe we should have gone to Wendy's, you doin something wrong son. I would say skip this joint or f around and find out like I did. I love Marty's so much. It gives me Five Guys vibes but better in my opinion. They have solid vegetarian/vegan options! This was my second time visiting. The first time I ordered a black bean burger with fries. This time I ordered their impossible burger with old bay fries. Pro tip, get their special sauce. I love how they have different types of fries to choose from such as salt and vinegar, disco, truffle, cheese, original and old bay. The burger was AMAZING. I even got an extra one to go. Marty's is a gem so I highly suggest checking them out. Quick service, affordable prices and solid food options! read more
This place is a MUST TRY! Everything is made fresh to order and tastes amazing! Marty's is definitely going on my list of favorite burger places because they did NOT disappoint. The burger was juicy and packed with flavor! The fries were fresh and crispy and seasoned well. They give you enough fries to share so don't make the mistake and over order like we did! The chicken sandwich was a hit also! The menu is pretty simple: burgers, hot dogs, fries, chicken sandwiches, macaroni & cheese and banana pudding! There are several tables available if you decide to dine in. They also offer delivery service if you're in the general area. Hell. This place serves up some mean burgers - all the other reviewers ain't lying - I did feel like I was eating something of a cross between Shake Shack with their well-seasoned patties, and In-N-Out.. actually I only had In-N-Out once so I can't really compare... and Five Guys with their addictive peanut oil-fried fries. My delivery via DoorDash came in like 20 min which was saying something, nicely packaged in one clamshell container with burger splayed out on one side bursting with toppings and fries on the other. My double cheeseburger was so juicy, so perfectly seasoned, and had real veggie toppings that gave the robust All-American burger joint experience. And the fries - my, it is "oh ok" in the beginning when the burger is the main show, but then as burger dwindles down to like a quarter size, the fries start gaining on your psyche as your greasy fingers keep going for them... one crunch after another of those tasty bits of potato ends... until you feel hollow at two dozen end pieces strewn around on the bottom of the container and you decide to SAVE IT FOR TOMORROW. lol I was just too full and I actually wanted to eat the bits with my salad for lunch tomorrow, so I did save the crumbs. I was genuinely pleased and impressed with Marty's. I am definitely getting their BBQ, truffle fries, Spicy Chicken, no, I am gonna eat through their menu. Um....SO GOOD! I don't know why it took me so long to get me here. But geezus, I've been missing out! My friend and I stopped for dinner and I got The Jalapeño (and added fried egg). DELISH! The burger was cooked perfectly and juicy. The burger itself has a nice kick abut not too spicey. The fried egg was the perfect touch, in my option. I also got the fries. They were okay. I'll love to try to other flavored fries though. I'm a big fry girl. I'm def going back to try the other burgers. Only down side is the parking situation. Whomp whomp. But worth it! read more
I'm so in love with the burgers & chicken from this joint. The burgers are juicy and cooked to absolute perfection. The chicken fingers & chicken sandwiches are to die for. We have this at least once a week, the food is that good. You know when you eat a burger you have that burger smell on your hand and clothes, well not with these burgers. It's a tiny place and it has outdoor dining, I highly recommend it. read more

Perfect late night burger joint. I'm going to order the housemade ice tea every time now. It's so perfect. And the cheeseburger! I have yet to try the double cheeseburger though. House made white peach ice tea 5/5 Banana pudding 3/5 Cajun fries 1/5 Bbq burger 4.5/5 Crispy chicken #1 burger 3/5 The pudding looks so inviting, but it's average. It needs more bananas? Cajun fries were too salty but I guess I should've expected that. I normally don't like bbq but this was good. Wasn't too sweet but had a savory BBQ flavor. At first glance the crispy chicken looks way too dried out crispy. Turns out the chicken was still juicy. And it's not that annoying bulky fried chicken. It's a good bite size fried chicken. Didn't have too much batter - more chicken. The street parking is free past 6pm so we were able to park right in front. I'm glad I tried some other burgers. I'm going to stick with the cheeseburger next time. read more
Super packed for a Sunday there was a little line forming, I was surprised and hope this was a sign that the food was good. I was actually super amazed at how good it was, a simple burger on a sesame seed bun with hand cut fries was just what I needed. Fries are really big deal for me, I love anything from scratch so the hand cut style really did it for me. I had to wash it all down with a vanilla milkshake, definitely reminded me of a place where i used to eat when I was a kid. so good! read more

Wow. Talk about a good burger! Simple menu with a few 'specialty' kind of burger and a few variety of fries to choose from - this is the kinda menu I personally enjoy. Not that many options but enough to be satisfying! My bacon, avocado, and Swiss burger was SO good and I honestly don't know why. Probably because it was on a fluffy sesame bun, with fresh avocados, crispy bacon, melted cheese, and one hell of a meat patty! I don't usually indulge in burgers or have them very often but when I do...I go a little crazy. The meat patty was super juicy but not to the point of being dried out, the bacon was cooked crispy but where the ends end up stabbing the roof of your mouth, and the cheese and avocado mixed together was just a big patty in my mouth. My husband got the more basic cheeseburger but double the patty. That thing was HUGE. He didn't speak to me the entire time he ate and this burger definitely satisfied his craving. We shared an order of original fries which were thin and crispy. Their fries were all long fries..some were just cut up into smaller pieces. A little on the oily side but I still enjoyed it! Next time I'll definitely order an original cheeseburger and try a different fry! My husband did wish they had onion rings, but the burger was so filling I wouldn't order anything else! Highly recommend this place if you're in the area looking for a burger joint that's not a local diner! read more
