Eel avo and spicy tuna rolls w/miso soup! Lunch special was soooo good!!!

I was really happy I tried the sushi bc I wasn't sure if I was going to like it since I thought chicken was their specialty but it was really good too. The service and food are top notch. I also tried the chicken strips in the soya garlic flavor which were super meaty and tasty too. I would definitely come back to this clean, friendly, and delicious establishment.

I like its cute logo, graphic descriptions of the sauces, and the very clean pickup area. First thing first. I tried 8+8 pieces with the number 1&2 sauce- SOGA and Garlic Soya. The grease from frying was well-drained, which made the chicken wings very crispy outside but soft inside. 5+ The soy sauce was not too salty, compared with BoXXon, which was well prepared and applied to the skins. 5+ Unlike other Korean Chicken, it was not with raddish but coleslaw. It felt a bit home-made feeling and thick sauce (could be more refreshing). 4+ It will be one of two where I would order my Korean fried chicken.

Super friendly service Korean Style Fried Chicken; so crispy even with a wet sauce covering the wings. Cole slaw to cool you off Soya Garlic - needed more garlic and a bit too sweet; it's ok; but if they used minced garlic in the sauce I think this would be amazing! Citrus Pepper - this is a dry seasoning; needed more pepper but was good Original Spicy - it wasn't too spicy but it kept tickling my throat making it hard to eat LOL. But it was good

I have only had one thing on the menu so far but it was so tasty!! The service was good as he greats you as soon as you come in the door and the food came out pretty fast.

Wow! I'm not a wings person, but I was curious what the hype was about, and DAMN these are good! Crispy outside and such nice sweet, salty, spicy balanced flavors. Also the chicken strips have a lot of meat! Can't wait to have these again! Very nice staff and super clean location.

Wash your hands before you eat chicken from this place because I guarantee you be licking your fingers by the time you get to your second piece. This Korean chicken spot was brand new and so I went just to do the taste test and went with the small order Soya Garlic wings and Mandoos. The chicken wings were sweet, perfectly cooked, but moist and packed with favors, they also have strips, drums, and combos if you prefer. I was licking my fingers and wiping my hand on my shirt before I know it. I also had the fries but they are not twice cooked and needed salt. Then I turned my attention to the Korean dumping, it was my first time doing the fried Mandoos, they had a sweet coding on the outside, the folding creases were fried crispy and the inside was mashed meat paste mixed with finely chopped onions, cabbage, and other veggies. These were delicious and they have a mild heat that sneaks up on you and fills your whole mouth with a tingling sensation. Gyoza could never match up with Mandoos in my book now. For sure I will be visiting this spot again since they are on Main Street next to some of my other Hackensack favorite spots to shop.

Chicken was perfectly crispy and tasty. The only thing that prevented this from being a 5 star was that the wings we got (citrus pepper) was wayyy too sour. If they can perfect that perfect balance of salt / citrus / pepper, it would be amazing! Will definitely go back to try their original / other stuff.

This place recently opened in my town and I had to check it out as a chicken enthusiast. I got fried chicken wings, fried chicken strips, mini sliders, and fries. Their signature soga sauce (soy and garlic) is my new favorite!! It's sweet and savory. The signature spicy sauce has a kick, but the spiciness doesn't linger, so I kept going for it too. Their chicken sliders was also delicious and makes for a perfect snack. The wings!! They were so tender and juicy, I was highly impressed. Not even a slight dryness OMG. I will say that KFC should stand for Korean Fried Chicken going forward.

My family recommended me to this place a while back, and I finally got a chance to stop by while I was in NJ to check the place out. My friend and I ordered Soy Garlic and Signature Spicy wings and Curly Fries, and they were absolutely delicious! Wings: The TEXTURE was incredible. The skin was the most crispy wings I have had in years, but the meat was still tender and juicy. The SAUCE reminded me of the Korean chicken spicy sauce, and the signature spicy sauce was my favorite. It was sweet and spicy, but not like the sweet chilly from Buffalo Wild Wings. It was a bit more spicy and savory, which I thought was perfect for my taste, but my friend thought it was a bit too spicy. I thought this restaurant was creative because I had never seen a restaurant that uses Korean chicken sauce in its wings. Curly Fries: They are my favorite because they often are more crispy than the other fries, so I had to try them. The next thing I know, the restaurant did not fail my expectation. Initially, I thought they were a chain, considering the cleanliness and well-designed logo and menu, but turns out, it was not. So it bums me out, who's from Boston, that this is the only place I can have this. I will surely go back to this place when I revisit NJ, and recommend it to my friends in NJ as well.

I saw the place open and had been meaning to try, and finally got to tonight! The chicken is very tasty and perfectly crispy and the flavors are just right. The coleslaw goes great with it. I would highly recommend getting the curly fries on the side. To top it all off, the staff was super friendly from taking the call to providing my pick-up order. This will be my go-to fried chicken place from now on!

There not even open anymore. Why does yelp insist they are open by stating they are? Been there twice. Fully shut down.

I was excited to check out this local sports bar in Lodi after seeing all of the positive reviews…read more Honestly, it was a little underwhelming for me. Maybe I just ordered the "wrong things". Either way, my experience didn't live up to the hype. I visited on a late Saturday night. There's a parking lot behind the restaurant. The entrance can be tricky to find... It's located in the back on the left-hand side. The exterior and interior are both pretty dark, dull, and dingy. It's not the most inviting atmosphere at first. It has a divey, industrial, and rustic vibe to it, but hey... sometimes the best food comes from places that don't look like much. So I try not to judge. It wasn't too busy, and the service was attentive. The menu has your classic American comfort food - wings, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, etc. They switch it up with daily specials like skirt steak, chicken parm, and pasta. They have a full bar with cocktails, drafts, bottled beers, can ciders, and wines. You can even do a four-beer flight and make it a tasting experience! I ordered: *Dark & Stormy Cocktail [Goslings Dark Rum, Ginger Beer, Lime Juice] ($14) - Not the best one I've had, but it was solid. If you like ginger and rum, this is a must try. The dark rum has hints of caramel which works really well with the spicy ginger beer. The lime juice adds a citrus kick, so it's a really refreshing drink. *Margarita ($18) - As a tequila girly, I've had my fair share of margaritas. This one didn't do it for me. It was a little too sour/tart, which overpowered everything else. *Cubano Sandwich [includes roast pork, black forest ham, swiss cheese, pickles, mayo, and mustard with side of fries] ($16) - I wasn't expecting an authentic Cubano from an American sports bar, so my expectations weren't super high. This was good, but not great. The pork was flavorful, but could've been more tender. I wish there were more pickles and mayo for that extra tangy crunch. The bread was pressed a little too hard, so it was a bit tough to bite through. *Double Blackened Chicken Breast Sandwich [includes pepper jack cheese, chipotle mayo, red peppers, and red onion on brioche with side of fries] ($18) - This was huge and filling! They did not skimp out on the protein. The brioche bun was soft and buttery. The chicken was well seasoned - smoky and savory with crispy charred edges. BUT... to my disappointment, the inside was dry and not juicy at all. Another small issue was the ratio - There was so much chicken compared to the rest of the toppings, so it wasn't the most cohesive sandwich. It really needed more cheese and chipotle mayo to tie all the flavors together. The fries were the best part - thick, crispy, and golden! It's decent bar food, just not the best I've had. Nothing was bad, but nothing was great or memorable. For the price, I didn't feel it was worth it. I do appreciate that their food is served piping hot and fresh. To be fair, this is probably the perfect spot for beer lovers. I happen to not be one, lol. The burger options sound popular and promising too. I'd consider giving them another shot for Happy Hour or to try a burger, but it's not at the top of my list. Just because it's not the sports bar for me, doesn't mean it won't be the one for you.

Really enjoyed the Peckwich too, which came with juicy bits of fried chicken and what tasted like kimchi coleslaw. This place is the bomb dot com. Every time someone sang its praises, I had to wonder, 'Really? The best fried chicken comes out of THAT space?' Because every time I passed by it, it looked quiet or closed or both. But don't let appearances fool you. It's very, very good. To get straight to it, the wings are the way to go here. I ordered both the wings and the boneless tenders to give this place the old college try, and while the tenders are impressive in size and heft (and I personally like them because I don't have to work around a bone), I found the wings to be far more tender and flavorful. I also found that the tenders were far quicker to lose their fried crunchification. I also tried both the soy garlic and sweet and spicy flavors, and both are incredible. If you put a gun to my head and made me choose one, I'd have to pick the soy garlic, but I love the way these sauces aren't lathered onto each piece. There's just enough brushed on so that you can appreciate both the flavor and the texture of the chicken. The fries here are the wedge type. Think KFC, but fresher and less salty. Also, don't sleep on the pickled veg. I know it sounds nuts to buy pickled veggies from a fried chicken place, but it's a staple for classic Korean fried chicken dinners to cleanse the greasy palate with something acidic. I love the medley of veg they use here, and I loved the pickling juice so much, I actually found myself sipping it between bites (don't judge me). There's a small parking lot on the side of the building that might accommodate three or four cars at most. And that might be by design, because three or four parties is probably the most that could dine in this tiny restaurant. But as many have already shared, the owners here are so sweet and friendly, it's a gift to spend any amount of time with them, even in this teacup-sized dining room. Those who choose to takeout or deliver will be pleased to know that Peck Peck Chicken knows how to to package freshly fried things correctly - that is, with intentionally aerated containers so that you won't lose all that beautiful crisp as the food makes its way home.
