I placed the order two days in advance for Sunday 11:15am pick up. When I arrived, they were making my order so I had to wait. While waiting, I noticed the change to the catering price. Now for $75, you get 60 boneless wings, not 80. I asked if I will still get 80 and showed her my receipt. She said yes. Even though it's 20 less boneless wings, it's still a good deal. I love they way they packaged the order. One side of the box is one flavor, the other side of the box is another flavor, and in the middle are two cups of radishes. I ordered delivery from this spot on Uber Eats so I can't speak to the restaurant itself or the service but the food... was delicious! The bulgogi fried rice was some of the best fried rice I've had in a while. It tasted super fresh and hard a large serving of meat and veggies inside. The large order of sweet and spicy boneless chicken (not spicy, mostly sweet to me) came with a hefty amount of chicken I mean I was able to share it with someone and still have leftovers the next day. The rice dish came with soup which was okay, just basic broth, and the corn dog was fulllll of mozzarella so of course it was delicious. That was also large and shareable. Glad I found this place while scrolling through the options on Uber Eats, definitely want to come try it out in person! My only recommendation to make this place better would be to upgrade the packaging for the boneless wings, some of the sauce came out of the bottom of the box which got my table a bit sticky. We came in around 6pm on Tuesday. It's located in a "Korea town" area of New Jersey. This place is pretty small and cramped. We were greeted and asked if it was for take out or dine in. We were told to be seated. The server came over and asked if we wanted drinks. She came back for our order (soy garlic and sweet/spicy drums and snow fries) she also gave us plates, chopsticks, napkins and a disposable glove. Can't rave enough about this place! Growing up chicken wings have always been my favorite food with buffalo wings being my go to before I discovered Korean fried chicken. I've tried chicken from all of the local places and Don Chicken is by far the best! If you like heat I highly recommend the spicy soy garlic which is my go to flavor. It is hard to describe how perfectly they fry their wings - they are never soggy or too dry, consistently great every time. A 10 piece order of wings is more than enough for one person (and I have a big appetite) - they are generous with their servings and the wings are meaty. The owners are super friendly people and create a clean welcoming environment. Do not hesitate to give this place a try, you will not regret it! My wife loves the fries from here as well and I've included a picture of how large the drumsticks are if you prefer drums to wings (she chose the sweet & spicy flavor for her 5 piece order). My fiance loves this place and so we stopped by here for takeout during covid and we called ahead and our food was ready in 15 minutes! We ordered the soy garlic combo that had wings and drumsticks which came with a side of radish. The wings were amazing, perfect amount of soy garlic sauce so that it's super tasty but not overbearing. The chicken had a great crispy skin! The drumsticks were a little less flavorful, but still tasty. However, next time, I'll opt for just the soy garlic wings alone! Their service is very good, the workers are all very friendly and accommodating. I never had an issue with their service from the multiple times I have come here. This time, I ordered 10 crispy wings, 10 sweet and spicy wings, and 10 soy garlic wings. The crispy wings used to be my favorite, but now that I have eaten at this place more, I think the soy garlic is my new favorite. I absolutely love the taste and the texture of the wings here. I didn't get it this time, but I used to always get the cheese ddukbokki. I think the cheese ddukbokki is pretty good and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried it yet. So this is my second time coming here and each time i left VERY content and happy. This place is (in my opinion) the best korean fried chicken place in this area (haven't tried pelicana yet). The seating is pretty limited (maybe less than 20 seats total and it's all against the wall-space is pretty narrow) so try and come during the off peak times for lunch and dinner (earlier the better). The staff are very attentive and quick to make sure you get everything you need on a timely matter. My friend and I got the combo (which comes with a mix of wings and drums) soy garlic with a side of their version of cheese fries. The chicken is SOO crunchy and delicious (they give you gloves so you don't have to get your fingers sauced haha) and the fries were like chips-addicting LOL. My most recent visit was for dinner at 6:30 on a Wednesday. It wasn't busy at first but it quickly became packed. The interior is pretty small and narrow with only a few tables, so you may have to wait if you come at peak dinner hours. My friend and I ordered the 10 wings + 5 drumsticks combo in the soy garlic flavor (my personal favorite). The chicken had a nice crispy exterior while the meat was perfectly cooked and not dry. The drumsticks were really big but the wings were small, which I was kind of disappointed by. But other than that, the amount was perfect for us to share. We actually had a drumstick left over at the end because we were so full. You can also order dipping sauce on the side, and it's a very generous portion for only $1. We got both the sweet & spicy sauce and the hot spicy sauce. I found that the hot spicy sauce was still very sweet. The only difference in my opinion is that the sweet & spicy was just slightly less spicy, but even the hot spicy wasn't that spicy to me. My favorite part is that they give you a plastic glove so you can eat the chicken with your hands without getting your fingers all saucy and sticky. This is actually pretty common at fried chicken places in South Korea. More places in America should offer this (looking at you, Bon Chon). We ended up just getting the 10 piece and figured we'd go eat elsewhere after. We asked for water as well and he didn't bring it to us until awhile later, basically when we got our food. The wait for the chicken didn't matter to us since we know it takes awhile to make. The chicken had so much batter on it and was so greasy it kind of made me sick. This place was nothing compared to Bon Chon or even Boom Boom chicken. I must say the chicken is actually bigger though and still pretty juicy, but just a lot of batter. I only had a few pieces and my friend had the rest. We finished eating, basically cleaned up our own table, and sat there for at least 10 minutes waiting for the guy to come back with our bill. He walked past us and even when we tried to wave him over to us, he either didn't see us or chose not to answer. Finally we got fed up and called him over and just handed our credit card to him. It really took longer than needed to pay the bill. Yes he was the only server but there were literally three tables there, 2 of us and 4 people at the other two tables so I can't even say it was busy.
