Ordered via UberEats for a Wednesday pick-up at around 8 pm. There was a BOGO free special on boneless wings on UberEats, so we did a BOGO of the spicy soy garlic and the sweet and spicy. I thought a small order would only have 8 pieces, like wings normally would but it was massive. So essentially, our order was the equivalent of four small orders for two people but it was SO much chicken. We ordered way too much because I underestimated how big one order would be (but I'm not complaining)! We had leftovers for days so needless to say, I was sick of Korean fried chicken by the end of it. I really liked the spicy soy garlic but didn't love the sweet and spicy. Chickens are all good, and my favorite is with sweet and spicy flavor. Located conveniently with enough parking, friendly owner and nice service by staffs. One wish I have is that they could improve Tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) and coleslaw. The one served in River Edge has a great flavor and a nice balance between rice cakes and vegetables. Here, there are too much onions and other vegetables compared with rice cakes, and sauce is too diluted. Other than that, I highly recommend all chickens. read more

So happy we now have Don Chicken as an option for Korean fried chicken in our neighborhood! They have several locations throughout NJ but this is the first location we've tried. We got a stack of menu fliers one day at our apartment and it worked because next thing you know we were on their website ordering some takeout. It was a super simple easy process and they had a good variety of fried chicken sizes/flavors and some other dishes including rice cakes, fries, corn dogs and bubble tea. We tried crispy drumsticks, spicy soy garlic wings, cheese snowing French fries, ddokbokki and some extra radish. The chicken was crispy, spicy soy garlic sauce was spicy sweet salty garlicky, rice cakes were spicy/chewy and the radish was refreshing - overall everything tasted good! Some of the best Korean food I've ever had. Ordered 2 small soy garlic wings with pickled radish and 2 sausage & mozzarella corn dogs. The wings arrived hot & crunchy, perfectly sauced (enough to coat the wing and still be crunchy without them being drenched) with a good ratio of drumsticks and flats. The wings were absolutely delicious. The pickled radish was so refreshing, a little sweet and a little sour: may be my new favorite. When it was done the the manager gave me along with the ketchup and mustard condiments a small container of sugar saying the for Korean corn dogs I suppose to sprinkle it on top, I didn't know, that was the first time I was told that and I don't remember if the other places I been too also had sugar on them. Well I put it on sugar the and the corndog was pretty good but I think I prefer salt and not sugar on the crispy potato cubes on the outside of my corndog. The sausage was a full size hot dog cut in half with the mozzarella more in the middle. Next time I will try the chicken because normally I go to Bonchon for that which is an extra 7 miles so if I can get some good Korean Chicken closer to home and that is next to my supermarket that would be a big plus for me. read more

After hearing about this restaurant, I decided to try a big order of soy garlic chicken and bubble tea. The chicken was super crispy and delicious--I'm definitely a fan! It even tasted better than my usual spot, Boom Boom Chicken. This place is quite similar to BBC, but they also offer fried rice and other Korean dishes. I've seen this location for months now and have been looking for a reason to eat here. I was doing laundry in the same strip mall so I stopped in for a quick dinner about 7:30 at night. I actually walked right past it at first because it's a small location. However inside has about 4 tables and a few counter spots. Nice decor and big menus showing all their offerings. They had a tv playing a Korean (?) program. Almost like a Korean MTV. Everything looked clean and orderly. The girl at the counter welcomed me very friendly! She took my order and explained it would be about 10-15 minutes. I took a seat to wait. There was one other woman waiting for an order. Several door dash/grub hub people came in to pick up orders which I find always a good sign of a take out place. I ordered the Korean style ramen with bulgogi. After a short time the girl brought out a tray with a beautiful deep bowl of spicy ramen noodles with shredded cabbage, carrots and stirred in egg. The noodles were a nice portion and the broth was spicy and left the heat lingering on my tongue and lips. The smaller bowl was a hearty portion of beef bulgogi and vegetables. The sauce was rich and flavorful. A familiar beefy sweetness filled my palate! So delicious. It was a perfect compliment to the heat of the noodles. I finished off the meal with a ginger ale soda. Pricing was average for this type of take out restaurant. Overall I enjoyed the meal. It was very filling and I sadly left a good portion of broth behind. This location opened just in October and they did not change their food caliber or spice levels. Got the spicy soy garlic, crispy snow onion rings, and ddueokbokki. First off, the wings and onion rings were fried perfectly. Nothing was overly oily or soggy. The ddeokbokki was not toned down and tasted the same as well. Everything was great and food was easy and on time for pick up. They did not skimp out and also included gloves to eat with the chicken. This place opened up near my job very recently and I was walking by and noticed so I came in to try and I was very happy that I did. I come here almost everyday for lunch and the staff are always so welcoming.
