We heard this place was very good and needed to get the kids something to tide them over until dinner so we decided to stop in. My daughter ordered the mozzarella stick with potato and absolutely loved it. It was so generous and it was crispy and delicious. We plan to come back soon to order the tikkaduk in several flavors. The menu had so many things on it we want to try. Be aware you do need to take it to go because there are just two stool seats at the window. No tables.

Did not know this place existed and decided to get take out to try. So my husband wanted to give a four-star but I really wanted to give it a three-star because I didn't enjoy it, unfortunately. I always love soy garlic Korean fried chicken because I'm not good at eating spicy foods. But BEWARE. Despite it being soy garlic, it is VERY spicy. They must have put pepper into their batter. because my mouth was on fire. My husband enjoyed the spice quite a bit, but when I order soy garlic I don't expect it to be spicy at all. So I was quite disappointed. My nose could not stop running from how spicy it was. My husband also really enjoyed the tiki chicken. Also very spicy, baked boneless white meat chicken strips. He really enjoyed the flavor of this place. But overall, I don't think I will personally be coming back. I'm sure this would be great for those who actually enjoy the spice! Also, side note, uber eats allows a choice for a combo of drumsticks and wings but they called us saying they can't do a combo only one or the other.

I noticed Ssong & CM Chicken are actually the same place from what it looks like so I'll leave my review here too: My youngest sister found this place via TikTok and being the best older sister ever, I decided to take her here to try some Korean Corn Dogs (and we ended up getting lost TWICE). This restaurant is located in a mini plaza which I was thankful for because I was afraid there would be street parking, but it's private parking. I was able to drive right in and park. When we arrived, we saw two people eating in their car and two girls sitting outside of the restaurant. People just kept coming and going. They are clearly running a good business (thanks to TikTok). We ordered the 5 Mozzarella Cheese sticks, 1 Mozz Spicy Sausage Hotdog, 1 Potato Mozz Stick, 1 Premium Sausage Hotdog, Curly Fries, and three different types of chicken (Garlic Soy - drumsticks, Red Hot Pepper- tenders, and the regular Fried Chicken- wings) and two drinks. You guys, this place DELIVERED! I have tried corn dogs before. Regular corn dogs. Hated them. But these Korean Corn Dogs. Insane. Very flavorful, fills you up quickly. Very well seasoned, and may I add that the wonderful lady at the front taking our order was an absolute gem. Super sweet. Great customer service. I wish they had one of these closer to us, but it's definitely worth the drive. Just make sure you pay attention if you're coming from the suburbs of NY (Rockland), you'll end up on the bridge twice. Oh, and don't listen to any music on the way there... I'm sure that's why I missed my turn. Maybe TikTok trends aren't so bad after all. 10/10 would visit again!

Well we were just here yesterday for the potato mozzarella stick and today we came back for the tikkudak. We got garlic soy tikkudak, curry tikkaduk and popcorn shrimp. The tikkaduks were soooo good! We got them with tenders. They are fried but then baked so not only are they crisp from frying but then they sauce and bake them so they are browned and crispy with the sauce cooked in. The result is a tender piece of meat, smoky notes, and delicious soy ginger or curry flavor but not overwhelming. I will say they all have some heat to them even though they aren't called spicy so I would avoid choosing spicy unless you like really hot. If you just like kick the regular sauces will satisfy you. The popcorn shrimp was crispy and tastes fine not bad but nothing to write home about. Maybe if we didn't have the amazing tikkudak next to it to compare it to, we'd gush more about them. Come here for the chicken. Not those orher things.

My son found this place a while back and we decided to order takeout from here on my visit. The place shares a store with Ssong's Hotdog and we also ordered from there as well (separate review). There is a small seating area, but takeout is their primary business model. We called ahead and the lady was quite nice on the phone, as well as in person. We ordered the Garlic Soy Tikkudak, boneless. Simply put, this is fried chicken pieces that, I believe, is both oven and fryer made, creating an extremely crispy outside while the chicken remains moist. The garlic soy aroma as well as the flavor made for a delicious treat. There are other options to choose from, but my son (who can take heat) said their hottest offering is truly hot, so be prepared if you decide on that one. I'll ask to go back to try other combinations if my son agrees, which I know he'll do since he's been multiple times.

First time ordering from CM chicken in Ridgefield. So far my frequent visits for chicken were 1) Yam Yam, 2) Don chicken, 3) BBQ.. Very excited to try the new place among sooooo many chicken places in Bergen County areas, especially Fort Lee and Palisades Park. We always go for the simple fried chicken in the beginning to be able to properly taste the brine & crispiness. CM's fried whole chicken ($19.99) - $21.30 after tax - was very crunchy and moist !!! I was impressed by how even the chicken breast bits were moist. As a promotion for the recent grand opening, they offered either french fries or Cole slaw. We opted for french fries but regretted later since fries were neither seasoned nor crunchy. (Go for cole slaw !!!!!) The only point we were a bit dissatisfied was that the chicken was salty - "for us" ... just a personal preference. It would be a great combination with beer ... Others have highly recommended Snow Onion chicken and we will definitely try others on the menu.

FYI: This is a purely takeout restaurant! The chicken is amazing!!! I'm obsessed with the snow onion chicken. Next time, I'm definitely getting the extra snow onion sauce and onions! It is definitely worth paying the extra few bucks for the tikkudak (baked chicken). The way they bake the chicken truly makes it so delicious!! Pro tip: (There is a small bar table top with 2 seats, but with ample parking. Do not expect to be able to eat here!)

Tikkudak is back to being perfect again! Asked for extra crispy and soy garlic tenders were perfect! Corn dog was great as usual! Thank YOU for listening!

There's no storage of Korean fried chicken places in the NY/NJ metro area and this is my new favorite. They have a variety of flavors and styles. The OG Soy garlic and spicy wings are my go to but their tikkudak is really growing on me. It's fried chicken they then baked in a charcoal grill. It has a nice crunch and that smoky flavor. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. They have a few seats if you want to dine in and a small bench out doors. Parking is very limited. The shop also sells Korean corn dogs that looks tasty. I've yet to try them but will be back soon to get some.

This was gooood. I'm not from the area. I saw this place while at a red light. I thought to give it a try and I'm glad I did! I got the garlic spicy wings. It was delish!! It was made to order, hot, crispy and soooo good. The spice wasn't too bad for me. I like spice. This was balanced (for me) and not overly spicy. I will eat here again, when in town.

Last week we were trying to go to another popular chicken spot but the wings were sold out and we ended up at CM chicken. We tried the Spicy Sausage Corn Dog, Soy garlic and Red Pepper Chicken wings. This is one the best chicken wings I've had in my life thus far. The wings were cooked fresh, served piping hot. They were meaty, crunchy not overly breaded and flavorful. Absolutely delicious!! The Red Pepper Chicken wings were actually spicy as advertised which was perfect for me because I LOVE spicy food. The Spicy Sausage Corn Dog was also amazing! We topped it with sugar and their spicy mayo as recommended. It was crunchy, savory and sweet. My bf and I have been to all the top Korean fried chicken spots around the area and this has to be our favorite!! It's worth the money. We loved it so much, even craved it during the week that we had to return today! We ordered the same goodies and it was as good as last week! Don't forget to order the Korean sodas as well!! Go give them a try, it is totally worth it!

This location is small but the location is nice. They have parking here but very limited seating. If you eat with only 2 or 3 people, there js enough space. However any parties more than that and it would not be able to accommodate. The display of the food here super smart and honestly, made it super easy to see what youll be having. They have a good ammount of choices to pick. The corndogs are insanely crispy and the cheese was super melted and stringy. The perfect combination together and the chicken was fried very well and lightly and the chicken was very moist. The flavors werent overpowering and left you wanting more. The pricing was average and the server knew all abt the menu and answered any questions i had. This location provided tenders option which I rarely ever see at any korean fried chicken chains and it was a great option. Overall this location was delicious and curbed my craving for korean fried chicken! I am definitely visiting this location again for more corndogs.

We ordered onion snow wings and soy garlic wings via seamless = ~$40 (including tips and delivery fee). Each order had about 10 wings, but the wings were very tiny. They weren't that crispy, but flavorful. You get 15% off when you pick up. I still like Dons chicken better, but good to try new flavors (snow onion) for once

Finally got to try this place I heard so much about on a Christmas day with wife because it was…read morefrigid and we wanted a warm bowl of Korean "tang"(soup). Finding parking is quite challenging given the location on a busy commercial street, so make sure you can come earlier than meal time to have better luck. They have waiting seats OUTSIDE so yeah I suppose it's quite popular at times. 1. ATMOSPHERE (3/5) - This location is small and it's pretty straightforward place. But I still found it cozy, with decent amount of seating (I think it can handle 15-20 max) and little details like wall with wood ledges and coat hangers were a nice touch. Seating was comfortable, though we tied our down parkas around our waist as another party had hung theirs on our side of coat hangers. 2. FOOD (4/5) - We dove right in to try their famous gejang (~Korean raw crab "ceviche") and ordered two of their namesake gookbap (rice with soup) to see how they are. Here's how it went down. - Gejang (App, $20, 2/5) - I had a hunch that on a holiday perhaps I should not order this, but my craving for succulent crab flesh be damned, I went for it and unfortunately, the meat was not well-marinated as I had feared. Gejang is a dish that has to sit in the complex soy-based pickling liquid for some time... and if restaurant is too busy churning them out or if it's slow season they won't do this properly. It not only wasn't fully marinated, I think the marinade was off because the spiciness was way out of balance and was overpowering. Perhaps knowing that it didn't have enough time to marinade the kitchen put extra diced jalapenos to compensate? Because that's exactly what it tasted like - you can't fool me. I tried to salvage the dish by asking a confused-looking girl server for some sugar, but yeah, can't un-do the overpowered marinade with sprinkling of sugar. This was really unfortunate as I was looking forward to a good bite. - Ahjae Gookbap (Main, $18, 5/5) - Thankfully, their namesake gookbap was spot-on to salvage our dining. Generous slabs of succulent beef on the bone and off the bone was swimming in a hearty beef/bone broth that tasted clean and focused. Portion was good, and can I say their banchan of fish cake moochim & unfermented kimchi & ggakdugi(radish kimchi) simply ROCKS? That was some serious deliciousness and dare I say value at $18 at a day and age where hamburger costs over $10! You win at life by ordering this! 3. SERVICE (4/5) - Our server girl was attentive and food came out early on though later it was a bit hard to get her attention promptly. We found ourselves putting hands in the air, and wavin' like we don't care... for a little while. They provide gloves & metal bin for gejang which was a nice touch for people to keep their fingers clean. One thing I'd like to mention: Plastic cup they served water in was all chipped on the rim so we instead went and got water from their hot & cold water dispenser which had metal cups (as many korean restaurants do). I'd suggest them to replace all these old plastic cups with metal ones for health reasons. Overall, we were satisfied with our meal. I'd chock up the gejang mishap to it being a holiday. I hope chef was just off with the marinade that day because I am a certified gejang pro(I catch and make my own) and that balance ain't it. But I will give it another try during warmer month and we'll definitely be back to try sooyook moochim, oyster jeon & other great soup offerings.

2nd time coming here. Small restaurant with a few tables. Thankfully when we came (Saturday…read moreevening), there was one table available and it was the same table as last time! Ordered three things: 1) marinated crabs, small size (5/5). Always a must-get here. 2) ddukbaegi bulgogi (4.5/5) - Thinly sliced prime marinated beef ribeye casserole with rice cake and glass noodle and mushroom served in a sizzling hot pot. Really flavorful and so good to have on a cold day. 3) ahjae ppyo jjim (4.5/5) - Braised prime beef meat bones in soy reduction with carrots, radish, dates, chestnut, rice cake and glass noodles. We got non-spicy. It came in a HUGE bowl. Definitely meant to be shared with a group. Took leftovers home and it was still yummy the next day mixed with knife-cut noodles I had at home.

This time around, it's a stronger 5 out of 5 because of our waiter was amazing. Ugh, I can't remember his name. He was on top of everything and making sure our food was grilled in a timely manner. He was quick to follow up with orders/requests that didn't come through when the kitchen didn't bring them out. Usually my gripe or disclaimer I give to people is that Wooga is great at everything except wrapping up things on the end. In the past, whenever I went, it would take forever (!!!!!) to get our check and pay. It was so frustrating but this time around, it was a bit faster. It's a win-win situation because we get to pay and leave and the restaurant has another table for customers. Though on the pricier side, Wooga does check off all the boxes of: -amazing meat quality -amazing & attentive service -they don't skimp on banchans (side dishes that I heard other restaurants are starting to limit) -several meat combo options -best Korean steamed egg in the North Jersey area We tried the thinly sliced oxtails, which were really good but pretty pricey for $38cash/$39.90card for 11oz of it. There are some things that are inconvenient (long waits, very small parking lot) but it's easy to overlook them once you have a meal at Wooga. Things to know before you go: -Their menu is updated on their website if you want to check that out before you go. -The earlier you go, the better your chance of being seated quickly. Weekends are definitely a longer wait, so plan ahead. -Their parking lot is small so it fills up super quickly, so you'll have to park across the street and play Frogger (maybe you might be too young to know this reference?) to cross the 4 lanes of Palisade Ave. -When you arrive, make sure to check in with the host/hostess so that you could get a pager to know when your table is ready. Your turn can come pretty fast sometimes depending on the timing.

From the moment we sat down, the service was hostile: Aggressive Attitude: As soon as we sat, she demanded our order loudly. When we asked questions about the menu, she answered with visible irritation. While we were briefly discussing options with our children, she slammed her notepad onto our table with a loud "bang" and walked away, startling both us and our kids. Negligent Service: She continued to be rude throughout the meal, literally tossing side dishes onto the table. Furthermore, the exhaust hood at our table wasn't working properly, causing the smoke from the pork belly to fill the air and make it hard to breathe. She didn't check on us until much later. Ruined Meal Flow: While we were still eating our pork belly, she came over and--without asking--scraped all the meat onto a side plate to clear the grill for the spicy squid. We had to eat cold, greasy pork belly instead of enjoying it warm off the grill. She never even asked if we wanted fried rice afterward and ignored our table for the rest of the night. We always try to treat service staff with respect and gratitude, but this experience was unacceptable. Despite our polite demeanor, we were treated with zero professional courtesy. If the manager or owner is reading this, please look into the staff working that shift. This waitress needs serious retraining in basic customer service. It's a shame because we loved this restaurant, but after tonight, we have no desire to return.
