Walking in it smelled amazing, the kitchen was busy and it was super packed. The service was quick and friendly ofc. All the food was super tasty, mouth watering and just straight up bomb. I can't wait to come back.

Friends high recommended. Tried the platter for 3 yet quite underwhelming. Nothing really stood out. And then we order Brisket as A La Carte which was best thing of the meal. Bibimbap was very moist no texture.

Nice place for korean BBQ. It's got lots of protein choices to choose for. The waiters will help cook, cut, and handle the bbq. Their help is truly helpful and without them food wouldn't taste good. They don't take reservations and its mostly come in and wait time could go for at most 30 mins, in my experience. They also have a parking lot available with plenty of space available. Its definitely an amazing place to come for food and hangout

Wooga might just be the king of Korean BBQ in NJ I've been to plenty of Korean BBQ spots -- even in South Korea and across the US -- and Wooga is definitely up there with the best. I'm not a huge spender, but the portions here were so generous that even after ordering a modest amount, it felt like a feast! We got the small pork set for 2 and a beef brisket for my wife, kids and it was more than enough for the four of us (two adults + two kids). The food was delicious, fresh. Our server wasn't super chatty, but he was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Honestly, I can't believe I've lived in this area this long and hadn't tried this place sooner. Wooga officially holds the NJ Korean BBQ crown.

Love the quality of the food here. I've been twice and while it's pricey, the meat itself is absolutely worth it. That said, the service is very bland and not particularly friendly. But WHAT ultimately pushed me to write this review--and why I won't be returning--is the excessive use of disinfectant. While we were actively eating, staff repeatedly sprayed strong disinfectant on nearby tables, to the point where everyone at our table felt like we were inhaling chemicals while trying to enjoy our meal. I understand cleanliness, but there's a time and place. Please be more mindful and respectful of guests who are in the middle of eating your otherwise great food.

    - Service: Fast and friendly staff. - Ambiance: Pretty small restaurant. Nice and clean. - Food: Wooga is my most favorite Korean BBQ spot in New Jersey. The meat quality is just top-notch. Our server helps us cook the meat so all we need to do is just eat and enjoy. Their banchan (small plates) are also pretty good too. + Japchae is a bit too sweet and bacon kimchi fried rice is a bit too salty for my taste. It's definitely leaning on the pricey side but with the service and the meat quality, they're totally worth it. They do have some discount if you pay by cash! Will come back and recommend it to anyone!

I absolutely love this place. The deal was unbeatable, they had beef for two for about $100 which is a steal. It came with all of the sides which were fresh, and included two soups. I loved the marinated steak with pineapple, very unique especially with the fresh kimchi. They didn't take reservations but the wait time was under 10 minutes, and we were served very quickly. Will definitely be going back to try the waygu steak! Pharmacist approved!

Tonight we had authentic Korean BBQ at Wooga. The food was fresh and delicious. We chose the option for dinner for five from the menu - it was just the perfect amount for us five. Staff was attentive, readily available to let us know what food was about to be served, including the meats being flipped a few times before it was ready to serve. Staff was helpful, drinks were constantly checked and refilled, Wooga lives up to its dining expectations.

The beef was marbled and everything tasted delicious! I especially loved the steamed egg and was surprised by how tall it was (A+ on presentation). The service was great and we didn't touch the meat once since our server was grilling for us. He also asked how well we wanted our meat cooked which we appreciated since not all places do that. We came at 6pm on a Sat night for 2 ppl and waited around 20-30 minutes which isn't too bad! Would recommend this place.

We frequent Wooga at least once a month so I feel compelled to write another review for this incredible restaurant since they recently did some renovations and re-opened. Staff is super friendly and restaurant is clean. We always opt for the beef for 2 (or 4 if we're dining with friends)- always great! We especially love the marinated short rib and skirt steak. We usually also add another side like the veggie fried rice, beef noodles, or spicy octopus noodles (trust me and try it)! We like the tofu stew a lot and usually get the egg side as well. If you need additional y recommendations, definitely ask the staff. Give them a try you will not be disappointed!

This used to be Taste1080 and now Wooga. Not sure what changed but all the beef we tried was good. Price is on the expensive end compared to the quality/quantity. It seemed like choice, not prime. The marinated short ribs were best out of all different cuts we tried.

Wooga's is hands down the best Korean BBQ spot in New Jersey. They serve high-quality meat, and their kimchi pajeon is delicious--though a bit overpriced for the small portion (only four pieces). Each meal comes with egg custard, plus your choice of soybean stew or kimchi jjigae. The soybean stew is especially tasty. Their marinated short ribs are the juiciest I've ever had. I always come here for special occasions. The service is quick, and the staff are attentive and skilled at grilling the meat right at your table.

Pretty dope kbbq with set menus. The beef combo for 2 was pretty filling and I liked the egg stew a lot.

    Soybean stew is great!

The brisket lunch special was only $16, was super juicy, cooked perfect! The chicken leg lunch special was only $14, was also great, the skin was crisp and meat just fell off the bones. Fries were very lightly coated and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. We also got a half pound order of pulled pork, very juicy and delicious, plus they serve the meals with 6 different kinds of sauces. Now... the various pickles! They all seemed homemade. Pink onions, cucumber pickles, peppers, and achyote (?), very crispy and refreshing to balance out the meats. Coleslaw was also very delicious. The cornbread. Very rustic. Initially I thought it was a bit dry but by second bite, you begin to appreciate the coarse cornmeal, the crunch, the balance of moisture and the crumble. I saved one to bring home so I can cut it and pan roast it in butter tomorrow morning. I have a feeling I will crave this cornbread in the coming weeks. The lunch also comes with a kielbasa, snappy skin, juicy and delicious. Such an unexpected find, glad we stopped in today. Very friendly service, they explained our questions well. Great ambiance and fast attentive service. We will definitely be back to try more items.

Once I entered, was seated at a table, there was no wait. The place has a rustic Korean bbq vibe to it but also has random vintage items, like an old tv and old games and some modern items like claw games. Ended up getting the pork combo for 2 ($90) and chose to get the aged pork belly, pork jowl and marinated pork short ribs. They give you a lot of banchan (side dishes) and they were good. The quality of the pork was really good as well. There was a lot of food for two people which I really appreciated. My favorite from the pork was the aged pork belly or marinated pork short ribs, all were really good tho. The servers were excellent and were on top of all my orders and cooking everything perfectly. I'm personally no expert in Korean restaurants, but I'm usually around folks that are, and this is a solid to above average place based on my experience and their opinions having gotten a variety of dishes (Pajun Uguji Tang, Galbi Stone Pot Rice). Our banchan also was delicious. They even had the spicy squid here, which I hear and personally have experienced to be pretty uncommon due to its niceness, so that elevated my opinion of this place already that they not only served it, but also refilled it for us when asked! I personally got the Haemul Soondubu, and it came out hot and deeply satisfying. Flavors were on point, and service was pretty quick. Overall, the feel here is pretty homey, flavors are on point. My only knock if anything is that the prices are bit high for my liking and what I ordered, but I think it's got to be this way to survive this close to the city.

The Yugaejang was also on point, but a little under salted, but I was okay with it. We also got this stone pot pork dish and, aww man, it was worth every bite. The rice was crispy, yet fresh. The Korean side dishes were so fresh and tasty. It didn't taste or feel like it was going bad and still being served. Either I came on a good day or the food is just amazingly tasty and fresh. That's what I really appreciate. The only downside was that it was a but pricey, but I do understand that inflation has hit hard. One dish per person for five people plus tip was about 170.00. However, I would still return as much as possible because the food is so good.

I also really enjoyed the cucumber scallion salad served as a side -- super refreshing and pair well with the meat. The restaurant itself is spacious, clean, and welcoming. The owner is friendly, and the overall vibe is very relaxed. They also serve beer and soju, which is a nice touch. The only thing keeping this from being a 5-star review is the seasoning on the skewers -- I felt it could have used a bit more flavor. Also, while the electric grilling machine is convenient, it doesn't quite deliver that smoky taste you'd get from charcoal. That said, everything we tried was delicious, and I would definitely come back. Highly recommended for a flavorful and satisfying meal!
