    - Quiet Monday lunch at 11:30a; a couple of other tables joined in as we were eating - Very big restaurant with lots of tables/seating; each table comes equipped with built in grill and vent pipe for BBQing - Food was very good--meats were well seasoned; lunch sets came with single-serve banchan dishes, rice, bean sprout broth (piping hot), and fresh lettuce leaves; LA Galbi was still sizzling when it reached our table! - Efficient and friendly service; we were greeted right after entering and led to our table; food came out fast, hot and fresh - Free small vanilla soft serve per guest with your bill - Current mix of songs were playing softly so you are able to have your convos - Plenty of food with the lunch sets! Will be having leftovers for dinner ;)*

Cold water served. I feel thirsty when I see this pic.

Came here for the on a Friday afternoon. My friend picked this spot and mentioned the naengmyun was really good here. There was no line so we were able to be seated once we entered. The place was bright and has a clean kbbq vibe to it. Got the lunch combo, mul naengmyun and LA galbi ($27) which was really good. The galbi tasted smoky and was very tender. The mul naengmyun's soup base was really tasty. I would come back to try their kbbq. I would recommend this spot if anyone is in the mood for mul naengmyun. * Good service * Parking on premise ** Complimentary ice cream dessert :)

The most valuable and one of most recommend Korean BBQ in Fort Lee, NJ. The restaurant is clean and neat with chill vibe, good for hangout with friends during weekend. The food is pretty good. I like the Galbi Jjim, the beef short ribs is tender and well cooked with hot sauce. The service is okay. The staff is very patient, I hope he give more smile when serving us.

This chilly weekend calls for some serious comfort food! Anyone else feeling the urge to indulge in something hearty when it's cold out? Gathered my friends for an epic Korean BBQ feast, and it was pure satisfaction! We went all out with the Beef Combo large (for 4) for $199--featuring a lineup of brisket, rib finger, ribeye, short ribs, and marinated short ribs. The best part? The staff grills it all for you, just sit back and eat! Plus, the side dishes and dips that come with it are not to be missed. Try not to fill up on them though; it's a challenge! The Scallion Salad was surprisingly refreshing, nothing boring about it! The Egg Souffle was absolutely dreamy , and the Denjang Jjigae (soybean paste stew) with tofu warmed us right up. For starters, we tried the staff-recommended Eggplant Salad for $15--fried eggplant with crispy potato bits on top, giving off a hearty "Di San Xian" vibe that's just delightful. The Bibim Naengmyun ($13) was another standout--a cold buckwheat noodle dish that's mixed with a special sauce and perfectly complements the BBQ, cutting through the richness. And to top it all off, free ice cream at the end! What a perfect way to end a fulfilling meal. Fresh, generous portions of meat and high-quality sides. You leave without that lingering BBQ smell--definitely a win! Who's joining me next time?

We had a reservation for 7pm on a Sunday night and the place was calm. Our table was already set up with a line up of banchan, beautifully arranged and looking appetizing. Eggplant salad was fire! Egg souffle was so fluffy, as expected. We got the Large Beef for 4 and an order of Pork Belly. They did the grilling and they did change the grill for each kind of meat, keeping it sanitary. I enjoyed making Ssam out of it, because their looseleaf lettuce were just so fresh and crispy, the meats were properly grilled and the right seasonings were right on hand. I loved the way they served food here and I'm definitely returning. The place is byob, I heard, so hey...but the Valet parking? So unnecessary.

One of the Korean BBQ places that we frequent in Grand Avenue in Palisades Park. BYOB Valet Parking And the option to enjoy the different parts of either beef or pork. The place is quite spacious, and with the benefit of being BYOB, it's great for a gathering. We were 5 in our party, and ordered the Large for 4 ($199) with scallion pancake, fresh beef sashimi and noodles later. The server grills the meat at a different table and brings it to our grill on the table, so it is quite convenient (not sure whether this is only for a large groups since the last time we were there, three of us, the bbq happened on our table. But, as with any Korean BBQ places, our clothes and hair wreaks of bbq after we get home !!!!!

living next to fort lee, i have been to probably 10+ KBBQ places in my life. i can say that this one is the best one i've ever been to. when the ribeye entered my mouth, i saw colors i had never seen before. everyone should bring their picky-eating parents here. recs: denjang jiggae, which comes for free ribeye, which is expensive but worth every dollar

Came with some friends for lunch on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy which was good. Got the large beef platter for four and pork platter for four along with Galbi Jjim, galbi tang and seafood pancake for the table. Really great value of quantity here where I felt like the meat just kept coming lol. They partially cook the food in the back and then bring it out to finish on the grill so your clothes aren't absolutely stretched after the meal, so that was nice. All the food was really tasty, even the apps on the table so would def recommend trying this place out if you're with a large group!

My partner suggested this place for dinner and I was pleasantly surprised. We got the large beef combo, which is definitely for more than 2 people, but we were really, really hungry. It came with plenty of meat and sides. I really liked the rib fingers and marinated short rib and all of the banchan were well done too. They cook the meat for you here and all the servers were attentive and friendly, but it did make the experience feel a little more rushed than if we were to cook ourselves. We got a complimentary eggplant salad, which was really nice. Overall, a great place to take people for kbbq.

    Beef small set
    Iris F.

We had an excellent experience here! Thought the beef small set wouldn't be enough for 2 pretty big eaters but it was actually a LOT of food bc multiple meats + egg souffle + stew + tons of banchan + vanilla soft serve at the end. The meat quality is also really great, they cook it for you and everything was perfectly medium/medium rare. Egg souffle had cheese on top which I loved. Super worth it IMO! We also got the beef tartare a la carte bc we thought we'd still be hungry after beef small set but should've just gone without the tartare bc it was meh - the meat should've been grounded/chopped up more. Restaurant is really big and they have valet if you're driving. No wait on a Sunday night. Service was extremely quick. We ended up just walking since we had gone to king spa right before and it was a 5 min walk which was convenient.

Saw this new restaurant opening and knew I had to visit, after seeing full tables almost every night! With a new and spacious interior, the first thing I liked was that my clothes/hair don't reek of the barbecue smoke! But of course, we have to talk about the menu: For a party of five, we ordered the Pork Set (for two), two lunch specials, and one entree. This was plenty of food for us! The Pork Set features three types of meats - which you can enjoy with the trio of sauces they serve for each person. At a value of $79, there's so much cooked and served - so definitely do not miss this! Pro tip: The lunch special also serves complimentary soft serve ice cream - the ice cream was actually so so delicious we were all surprised. It'll leave you wondering if this is a 고기맛집 or 아이스크림 막집!

Finally got to try this place I heard so much about on a Christmas day with wife because it was…read morefrigid and we wanted a warm bowl of Korean "tang"(soup). Finding parking is quite challenging given the location on a busy commercial street, so make sure you can come earlier than meal time to have better luck. They have waiting seats OUTSIDE so yeah I suppose it's quite popular at times. 1. ATMOSPHERE (3/5) - This location is small and it's pretty straightforward place. But I still found it cozy, with decent amount of seating (I think it can handle 15-20 max) and little details like wall with wood ledges and coat hangers were a nice touch. Seating was comfortable, though we tied our down parkas around our waist as another party had hung theirs on our side of coat hangers. 2. FOOD (4/5) - We dove right in to try their famous gejang (~Korean raw crab "ceviche") and ordered two of their namesake gookbap (rice with soup) to see how they are. Here's how it went down. - Gejang (App, $20, 2/5) - I had a hunch that on a holiday perhaps I should not order this, but my craving for succulent crab flesh be damned, I went for it and unfortunately, the meat was not well-marinated as I had feared. Gejang is a dish that has to sit in the complex soy-based pickling liquid for some time... and if restaurant is too busy churning them out or if it's slow season they won't do this properly. It not only wasn't fully marinated, I think the marinade was off because the spiciness was way out of balance and was overpowering. Perhaps knowing that it didn't have enough time to marinade the kitchen put extra diced jalapenos to compensate? Because that's exactly what it tasted like - you can't fool me. I tried to salvage the dish by asking a confused-looking girl server for some sugar, but yeah, can't un-do the overpowered marinade with sprinkling of sugar. This was really unfortunate as I was looking forward to a good bite. - Ahjae Gookbap (Main, $18, 5/5) - Thankfully, their namesake gookbap was spot-on to salvage our dining. Generous slabs of succulent beef on the bone and off the bone was swimming in a hearty beef/bone broth that tasted clean and focused. Portion was good, and can I say their banchan of fish cake moochim & unfermented kimchi & ggakdugi(radish kimchi) simply ROCKS? That was some serious deliciousness and dare I say value at $18 at a day and age where hamburger costs over $10! You win at life by ordering this! 3. SERVICE (4/5) - Our server girl was attentive and food came out early on though later it was a bit hard to get her attention promptly. We found ourselves putting hands in the air, and wavin' like we don't care... for a little while. They provide gloves & metal bin for gejang which was a nice touch for people to keep their fingers clean. One thing I'd like to mention: Plastic cup they served water in was all chipped on the rim so we instead went and got water from their hot & cold water dispenser which had metal cups (as many korean restaurants do). I'd suggest them to replace all these old plastic cups with metal ones for health reasons. Overall, we were satisfied with our meal. I'd chock up the gejang mishap to it being a holiday. I hope chef was just off with the marinade that day because I am a certified gejang pro(I catch and make my own) and that balance ain't it. But I will give it another try during warmer month and we'll definitely be back to try sooyook moochim, oyster jeon & other great soup offerings.

2nd time coming here. Small restaurant with a few tables. Thankfully when we came (Saturday…read moreevening), there was one table available and it was the same table as last time! Ordered three things: 1) marinated crabs, small size (5/5). Always a must-get here. 2) ddukbaegi bulgogi (4.5/5) - Thinly sliced prime marinated beef ribeye casserole with rice cake and glass noodle and mushroom served in a sizzling hot pot. Really flavorful and so good to have on a cold day. 3) ahjae ppyo jjim (4.5/5) - Braised prime beef meat bones in soy reduction with carrots, radish, dates, chestnut, rice cake and glass noodles. We got non-spicy. It came in a HUGE bowl. Definitely meant to be shared with a group. Took leftovers home and it was still yummy the next day mixed with knife-cut noodles I had at home.

This time around, it's a stronger 5 out of 5 because of our waiter was amazing. Ugh, I can't remember his name. He was on top of everything and making sure our food was grilled in a timely manner. He was quick to follow up with orders/requests that didn't come through when the kitchen didn't bring them out. Usually my gripe or disclaimer I give to people is that Wooga is great at everything except wrapping up things on the end. In the past, whenever I went, it would take forever (!!!!!) to get our check and pay. It was so frustrating but this time around, it was a bit faster. It's a win-win situation because we get to pay and leave and the restaurant has another table for customers. Though on the pricier side, Wooga does check off all the boxes of: -amazing meat quality -amazing & attentive service -they don't skimp on banchans (side dishes that I heard other restaurants are starting to limit) -several meat combo options -best Korean steamed egg in the North Jersey area We tried the thinly sliced oxtails, which were really good but pretty pricey for $38cash/$39.90card for 11oz of it. There are some things that are inconvenient (long waits, very small parking lot) but it's easy to overlook them once you have a meal at Wooga. Things to know before you go: -Their menu is updated on their website if you want to check that out before you go. -The earlier you go, the better your chance of being seated quickly. Weekends are definitely a longer wait, so plan ahead. -Their parking lot is small so it fills up super quickly, so you'll have to park across the street and play Frogger (maybe you might be too young to know this reference?) to cross the 4 lanes of Palisade Ave. -When you arrive, make sure to check in with the host/hostess so that you could get a pager to know when your table is ready. Your turn can come pretty fast sometimes depending on the timing.

His hot tip: this restaurant is BYOB, so hop into the liquor store (inside the Hmart complex) next door to grab some soju and beer before settling in for some grilled meats. There are some plated dishes on the menu but with grill covers in the middle of every table, it's clear this is a restaurant meant for Korean BBQ. The pork belly was incredible with decent grill-kissed char marks. The marinated beef was tasty but a little tougher than I prefer. I love all the free side dishes that came with our meat orders, especially the soybean stew and towering egg soufflé. Service is brisk and efficient..sort of. This is the sort of place where servers hover with their order pads soon after you settle down, expecting you to just know what you want. Since this is a full-service BBQ, our server came around frequently to grill, cut, or flip or meats. After all was eaten and done, it become mysteriously difficult to flag her down for our cheque. We have always enjoyed dining at Daeji Ssonday in Ridgefield, but the rude and unprofessional behavior of our waitress completely ruined our family dinner. We were seated at the table directly in front of the far back-right table (when looking from the counter). From the moment we sat down, the service was hostile: Aggressive Attitude: As soon as we sat, she demanded our order loudly. When we asked questions about the menu, she answered with visible irritation. While we were briefly discussing options with our children, she slammed her notepad onto our table with a loud "bang" and walked away, startling both us and our kids. Negligent Service: She continued to be rude throughout the meal, literally tossing side dishes onto the table. Furthermore, the exhaust hood at our table wasn't working properly, causing the smoke from the pork belly to fill the air and make it hard to breathe. She didn't check on us until much later. Ruined Meal Flow: While we were still eating our pork belly, she came over and--without asking--scraped all the meat onto a side plate to clear the grill for the spicy squid. We had to eat cold, greasy pork belly instead of enjoying it warm off the grill. She never even asked if we wanted fried rice afterward and ignored our table for the rest of the night. We always try to treat service staff with respect and gratitude, but this experience was unacceptable. Despite our polite demeanor, we were treated with zero professional courtesy. If the manager or owner is reading this, please look into the staff working that shift. This waitress needs serious retraining in basic customer service. It's a shame because we loved this restaurant, but after tonight, we have no desire to return.
