Came back a second time and I had the empanadas of the day which were brisket and a pork belly rice bowl. The empanadas are stellar! Big, not greasy and packed withmeaty deliciousness. The pork belly bowl is outstanding with lots of flavors, textures and temperature. An excellent option to taste his creativity if you don't want a sandwich.

While I was said to see Kimchi Smoke go away I was thrilled that Chef Austin Cho opened a new place. Although a bit far from home I ordered online and made the journey to Austin Cho Kitchen. It's a tiny storefront where you can see the man himself cooking away. Very friendly service. Easy online ordering and it was ready when I got there. We got the Brussels sprouts (outstanding), French fries, Cajun fries, and kimchi. All good but I'd go regular fries over Cajun next time. We got the pork belly xxx sandwich which was fantastic. We also got the brisket Sammie and the pulled pork sandwich. They were both delicious. The quality of the meat and the fresh veggies and sauces are simply the best. Wish it was closer but I will be back for sure. Limited seating on stools inside but I want to eat in so I can get a Cho nut. Love the chef and his cooking rocks. Street parking available. Must try in my book.

This place is such a good AYCE spot! Great variety, clean, and great service. Our waiter was Joseph…read moreand he was so incredibly friendly and helpful. He was going back and forth to so many tables and still having convos with everyone. Shout out to JoJo! You can do hot pot, kbbq, or both. It's also byob, so that's great. They provide the same cups as all the other drinks. Limited slushies from their machine. However, my favorite section of this place is their banchan and other hot foods selection. There's marinated wings, japchae, kimbap, stews, stirfry, tteokbokki, etc. For dessert, there's soft serve and bingsu! FYI, they don't have those large vents usually above the tables during kbbq, so make sure you're not going anywhere afterwards that minds you smelling like bbq. Located in a shopping area, so plenty of parking! Definitely will be visiting again!

Neither of us tried the Moon yet so we decided to check it out. I was able to easily make a reservation via Yelp for 6 people for 12:30 (4 adults + 2 toddlers). For the most part, we already knew what we wanted to order, so we placed an order for the BBQ items and hot pot meats first. Only the meats are the items you need to order. Everything else, you grab at the buffet - including seafood, fish balls, veggies, and noodles. The BBQ items are just okay, but that tends to be the case with you have hot pot + BBQ. The hot pot beef was good but the lamb was super gamey, which turned my broth into a gamey lamb flavor, making everything else I cooked in there have a trace of that too. Bottom line - skip the lamb. As for the buffet, they have a lot of options. Aside from the typical hot pot items, they also have some Korean dishes like kimbap, japchae, kimchi, as well as some fried items. I don't think I liked the Moon enough for a return trip. It's also slightly pricier than other hot pot + KBBQ spots, so I think I'll check out some of the other ones next time.

Fried to perfection and as crispy as anything out there! The curry was so full of carrots, potatoes and meat and, oh yeah, was absolutely delicious! Loved the side salad, macoroni salad and corn salad too. + Hamburg Steak - Fantastic entree. Super flavorful burger steak with a sunny side up egg on top. = Tomato Pollo - Lottttts of tomato sauce in the dish mixed in with spaghetti and chicken breast. Chicken was a little dry ... and the sauce actually reminded me of ... Chef Boyardee???? Nevetheless pretty good still. + Banchan - Included unlimited kimchi, radish and salad with dressing. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------- + Spacious interior. + Verrry modern and nicely decorated restaurant. + Minimalistic furniture with a white and brown color scheme. + Large private parking lot that is shared with the rest of the Little Ferry Plaza shops. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Came in at around 11:45 AM on a summer Sunday morning and there were only a few tables occupied. Even throughout our meal, the restaurant never came close to reaching capacity, but it still got pretty busy.
