Got the mango shaped ice. It was large enough for four people, the ice itself had very good mango flavor with some mango ice cream on top. I do wish there were slightly more toppings. I'm not sure if the mangoes were frozen vs fresh, but it was a good way to cap lunch in palisades

Casual cafe that serves food and desserts. We stopped by for some shave ice and ordered the mango flavor. The serving is a good size for 4 people. The flavor was the perfect sweetness and the ice was finely shaved. We were hoping for fresh mango as it was in season, but it tasted like frozen mango pieces.

What a truly pleasant surprise this café is! My husband and sister-in-law wanted a late night sweet treat and everything was already closed. With our options limited, we decided to try Café August. We ordered the strawberry Nutella croffle, matcha shaved ice, pineapple sparkling ade and white peach sparkling ade. Everything was 10/10. The croffle was the perfect "appetizer" to introduce us to a night of sweets. It came out promptly, looked gorgeous, and was ideally crunchy with juicy strawberries on top. The shaved ice was my favorite. We opted for the bowl, which easily fed three people, and could have possibly fed five. The shaved ice was sweet, fluffy, dusted with matcha powder, and had what felt like endless toppings, including matcha ice cream, red bean, mochi, and more. There were enough toppings for everyone! The drinks deserve their own review- they are spectacular with a frozen teddy bear ice cube on top. Such cute presentation! The pineapple flavor was slightly stronger, and the white peach was subtler and very refreshing. We could not stop playing with and admiring the frozen teddy bears. Overall, this shop feels underrated compared to other spots on Broad Ave. Would would definitely come here again and so nice that they are open late. Thank you, Café August! PS. Their dainty silverware is very classy, too.

So yummy! A cute cafe with no reservations. I went on Valentine's day and it seems like there's outdoor seating in their yard (not available during the winter ofc). The rose options seem like a popular dish. I got the rose risotto. The aroma is very powerful and so while the table next to me was eating away, it influenced me to get the same thing as them. There's a lot of rice to the risotto - I don't think it's proportionate to the amount of seafood that came with it. But either ways, I wouldn't have been able to finish the gigantic dish. The garlic bread that came with complemented this dish so well. If you follow them on Instagram you get a free macaroon! This place is close to King Spa which I recommend checking out after

Name changed from Jubilee. Been here twice since name change. I think this place got better from Jubilee. They modernized the interior, kept most of the same menu, and added new items as well. I have never had their food but their desserts are always great. I love their wide new flavors of shaved ice available now. Staff was always kind and they have electronic buzzers at each table. Would definitely come here for dessert!

The pasta, I forgot the name.

I had pasta and white peach ade. They were delicious. They have enough seatings and also has patio seating as well. We were inside since it was way too hot to be out but it was good.

It seems Jubilee has rebranded and changed some things for the better. I always enjoyed their sandwiches and pastas which are still delicious. They got rid of their frozen preordered desserts (always a turnoff for me) and the corn bingsoo we got was really delicious, with sweet corn and mochi pieces scattered throughout. Drinks come with a teddy bear ice cube which is also really cute and photogenic. We got the carbonara pasta, a breakfast sandwich, and an omelet which comes with yummy salad. We also had a misugaru latte which was on the sweeter side but still liked it. I think they also have croffles on the menu now. Would definitely come back when I'm in the area.

First time here and pleasantly surprised! Glad they're open late -- perfect for a night spot. I thought it was just a café, but they have a full food menu with lots of pasta and sandwiches. Everything looked great at other tables. We got the sweet corn bingsoo and an iced matcha latte. The bingsoo was really good -- not too sweet and super refreshing. The matcha latte was just okay; too milky and not much matcha flavor. Wouldn't get that again. Cool spot overall. I'll be back to try the food!

Beef delivered from Pat LeFrieda's every day, and all fresh ingredients. And the sauce on the Burger so delicious. This simple makeup of ribeye, cheese, onions, and fresh bread is what makes the sandwich so alluring to anyone. A great cheesesteak requires an even mixing of the parts. That means the cheese is melted and mixed with each crevice of the beef and onions. The bread encases the entirety. Every single bite should be consistent with the last and the next. However, in Jersey, one might think the best cheesesteaks only come from the boardwalks. Voted the Best Cheesesteak in Bergen County according to their website, my partner and I decided to pay a visit to Bob-O's Cheesesteaks, located on Main Street in Ridgefield Park, for lunch. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the staff at a simple and clean interior. Lighting is basic and bright with a row of full windows with single seating providing a more spacious feel as well as 4 tables indoors and 5 tables for outdoor dining during pleasant weather. Their big-size menu is featured on the wall with cheesesteaks, egg rolls, sides, and much more. We decided on the Bob-O Sandwich, Chicken Cutlet Sandwich, and Onion Rings. Food was prepared fresh per order. The sandwiches were really delicious and served hot. However, the peppers used on the Bob-O killed it. It looked like roasted peppers from the jar were used and not the fresh peppers sautéed with onion. The onion rings were hot, crispy with no oil or sogginess and didn't skimp. The portions were huge, and the price was comparable to the area. Service was fast and friendly. Despite this hiccup, we would give this place another try.
