Layout is a little weird, people make a line to the registers in between the 2 food display aisles which makes it hard to browse. Come here and pick up a big everything focaccia square and take it to go, pretend like you're going to bring it home to your family and then when you get in your car just start eating it. That's how it tastes the best.

went to go pick up cake and some desserts. getting there is a bit tricky if coming from the other side. it was very busy. not that clean i would say- there were stuff on the floor and tables looked kind of dirty. lots of bakery selections. cake was decorated nicely. thought the sponge was a tad dry for my taste. But pretty standard korean cake

Bakery @ Edgewater, NJ Bakery with a spacious seating and a parking in the back. There were variety of pastries, cake, sandwiches, bread and drinks. We loved their grapefruit earlgrey cake. The creams were so fresh and delicious, tasted much better than the cakes from Paris Baquette. The scones, peach and chocolate pastries also tasted great!

Not sure when this location opened up, but after seeing the sign, from the road when driving to Whole Foods, we stopped in for a mid-day treat. Thinking it was just sweet stuff, but were we surprised upon entry. D'Avant has everything from savory sandwiches, breads, wild looking treats, cakes, drinks; too much to list. They also sell handmade pottery. Parking lot is huge, so there are no excuses to not stop in. Eat in, or take the stuff home !

Delicious offerings- both sweet and savory. Friendly service. Modern design- plenty of seating. Sandwich was delicious- will definitely visit again.

So glad this bakery made to the neighborhood and that too at the walking distance. Great addition to the cafe culture of the town. This Korean bakery has a wide variety of savory and sweet bakery items to select from. Tried a couple of things so far - scallion crème cheese focaccia and mocha cream bread. The focaccia is so light and airy - absolutely loved it! The coffee flavor of mocha cream bread is amazing. The place is nicely done - clean, modern and inviting! Great place to catch up with friends.

They have parking for their customers. Very nice, clean space with large aisles. GREAT customer service - there were a lot of drinks that were new and interesting. One of the cashiers took the time to explain and answer all my questions with patience - THANK YOU. I got: - almond croissant - blueberry scone - cinnamon sugar croissant roll Everything tasted very yummy, but the star of this trio was the cinnamon sugar croissant roll. WOW. Just WOW. I also ordered their Cloud Macchiato iced coffee, which was divine! Looking forward to coming back and trying a tea, along with their sandwiches.

Unique assortment of Korean-inspired pastries, pleasant atmosphere with modern furnishings, and friendly service. We selected an array of items - a bun, a cookie, a pastry and sat to enjoy them at one of the smaller tables. There is one large table, great for a group gathering. While the ube cookie didn't have a noticeably ube flavor, it was a pretty purple hue and very fresh. Next time here, we will be sure to pick up a cake to try.

Wide variety of bread and pastry options, green tea, and cake. There's good amount of indoor seating with natural light and plenty of parking space. Staff was neither friendly or rude despite visiting during slow time. Overall, enjoyed the selection and bakery we got tastes good.

Good amount of seating and delicious pastries! We really loved the Lox Focaccia. The Focaccia was so light and airy and the filling was so great. They have their own private parking lot in the back. We came on a Saturday around noon and it was busy but not too busy that we couldn't find seating. Highly rec the Dirty Hojicha Latte as well, very balanced flavors!

Perfect Nutella rolled croissant with filling

Excited that D'avant is in Edgewater since I frequent the Fairview location. Easy parking and convenient location. Their menu is slightly different but still delicious. I got the Nutella rolled croissant and it was just as good as my favorite pistachio version. Pricing is about 15-20% higher than the Fairview location. I wish this location would sell more of the savory pastries like croquettes and bulgogi focaccia but there is a larger selection of sandwiches to select from. The dining area is well laid out and inviting. Looking forward to my future trips here!

There was a line every morning we walked by, which is always a good sign…read more The service, though, could be better - they're definitely not the most patient. It seems like this might be more of a local spot where regulars already know what to order. I ordered a chocolate croissant, almond croissant, matcha latte, and café latte. When I asked if they offered flavored lattes, the cashier just looked at me and said, "We don't do that here." No suggestions, no follow-up - just silence. After about five seconds, he finally added, "You can sweeten your drink over there." Our drinks and pastries came out in about 10 minutes. What the cashier didn't mention was that the matcha wasn't sweetened either, so I had to fix it myself at the side bar. This is honestly the first place I've been where they don't sweeten coffee or matcha for you - maybe it's a French thing, which is fine, but a little kindness in the delivery would've gone a long way. The almond croissant was the star of the show - light, flaky, and full of flavor. I'd order that again in a heartbeat. The coffee and matcha were just okay, even after adding sugar, and the chocolate croissant was forgettable. Inside, it's a small café with limited seating and tiny tables. If you're in a morning rush, it's better to grab your order to go instead of waiting for a seat. Despite the attitude from one staff member, I'd still come back here just for the almond croissant - it's that good.

Okay I was cracking up about my experience here because I literally asked the dumbest question to…read morethe guy working but he was so nice and explained the answer to me until I understood! So fun fact they are now advertising Banana Pudding Hot Chocolate and it is NOT actual hot chocolate but banana pudding made to taste like hot chocolate. Why I got so confused? I don't know! Maybe I have been watching too many videos about Tyra Banks Hot Ice Cream. Either way I appreciate the guys patience and kindness when explaining it to me twice especially because I did not end up ordering that at all (though it sounds interesting) but I did get the regular actual hot chocolate and it was amazing! It tasted like melted marshmallows were in it! Perfect for a cold winter day. In addition we got to the humming bird cake, a cupcake, and the regular banana pudding. My husband had never been here before so you know we had to get the banana pudding, it's their claim to fame. And it is decent. Growing up in North Carolina banana pudding is taken very seriously and is literally at every gathering. Would this be a contender for the cookout? Sure! I have no complaints about. The other baked items were delicious as well. The store is cute unfortunately this location has no indoor seating but plenty of outdoor. It was like negative degrees when we went so we definitely did not sit outside. All and all it's a cute bakery/ sweets shop. There are many locations through out the city. I've been to others and it is consistent. It's definitely not a bad dessert spot to try.

Let me start with the positives, because there were some. Daniel was excellent--polite, attentive,…read moreand gave solid customer service. Credit where it's due. Now for the madness. Another employee, Kirk--an older gentleman who looked completely out of place--approached and coughed directly over the slice of cake that had just been cut for me. Yes. Over it. At that moment, I honestly wondered if it was intentional. A young woman nearby immediately caught my reaction and went to the back to replace the slice. She handled the situation professionally and deserves recognition. Unfortunately, the chaos continued. Kirk later made me a hot cocoa, and when I went to drink it, it spilled on me because the lid wasn't secured properly. At that point, I stopped believing in coincidences. And the cake? The German chocolate cake was terrible--dry AF and nothing like the Grand Central location. Not even remotely close. Between the coughing, the spill, and the subpar cake, this visit was uncomfortable, messy, and disappointing. Magnolia should seriously reconsider who they put on the floor and retrain accordingly--because this location is not living up to the brand. But honestly, I believe the 2 guys had to be the owners. I love a good watch but rolex's while serving Desserts is WILD
