Cute cafe with delicious Vietnamese coffee! 20oz was $8.79 so definitely in-line with NYC pricing. Definitely want to come back to try their food and other speciality drinks!

Slim pickings on a late Sunday afternoon, 2 drinks and 2 baked goods came out to about $26 so it's a bit expensive, but I tell you what...an iced cherry float made with Coca Cola and cherry gelato is the bees knees on a HOT day. Yuuuuuu-UM. Better than cherry garcia (my favorite. I also had the mascarpone and fig tart--Very good just a little messy. Needs a dribble of honey, or if it had it I didn't notice it. The Vietnamese coffee didn't have that signature strong coffee punch flavor, more like a sweetened latte. The place can get a little busy so come early to have more variety and maybe a little brunch. Hoping this spot finds its groove soon and I'll be back to try some more!

Beautiful cafe and welcoming staff. They source their flour from local producers. Most pastries are savory, few are sweet. They just opened so not many things are available just yet. I loved the ambiance of French music in the background and gorgeous space. The hot latte I got was pretty good too. 4 pastries, a bread and a coffee were about $30. I am looking forward to seeing how this place grows. They have six flavors of gelato that looked good but I didn't try it.

“Honey bun 4/5 I really loved the glaze flavor but its very plain once you get to the middle of the bread because it ends up being a lot of just bread and not enough glaze.”

Finally made it uptown to The Hungarian Pastry Shop. The block is actually quaint and across the…read morestreet from St. John's Cathedral. Got there around 1 PM on a weekday, they were just starting to run out with some items. The pastries were very fresh & delicious in a comforting way. Got a Cardamom Bun (mild flavor, with light layer of apricot jam in the layers) & the Sacher Torte (Excellent! Austrian hazelnut flour torte, raspberry jam). I'm not familiar with a lot of the items & wish they were labeled. Would have ordered more. The cafe was *very crowded & kind of loud. The ambiance didn't seem enjoyable compared to the calm UWS streets. The outdoor tables looked calmer even though a short line blocked the front of it. There's only a line because the counter is close to the front door and little space to wait. The 2-3 counter staff was very nice & patiently answered questions (labeled & priced pastries - with ingredients/nut disclaimer still would have helped & move the line along) . Took the treats to the community garden on the corner. Keep exploring NYC y'all!

Yummmmmmmm. Spinach…read morefeta pastry. Perfectly hefty amount of spinach with flaky dough. Hit the spot. Cherry danish. The bread itself was soft and pillowy and the cherrys were sweet and tart. Baklava. Stacked TALL. Not many layers but each nut layer was 1inch thick. If you're looking for crispy multi layered baklava, this ain't it. If you're looking for nutty goodness, this is. Did takeout, so can't say for ambiance or service. Lots of tables free at 9 on a Sunday but the line was out the door.
