Since we were in the neighborhood, we came to this PB store to get our weekly bakery goods. This was my first time coming to this store and probably the 10th different PB store I have visited. It was a big one, with plenty of seating area. The best part they had outdoor seats right by the Hudson, looking out to NYC skyline. Probably the coolest perk of all PBs in North Jersey. The inside of the store was clean, very nicely decorated. All bakery, pastries and confectionary items were stacked in clear glass shelves. The cakes were by the register as usual. They also had the sandwiches, hot and cold drinks in the menu as well. We bought our usual croissants, bread, chocolate donut and a slice of cake. Multiple staff members were at the register, helping customers checkout quickly. All our items were packed nicely and put in a box. We used our rewards QR code to earn points for the purchase and also used an existing reward to get a free bakery item. read more

Wonderful bakery by the water. Spacious, clean and welcoming vibes. They have outdoor seatings by the river. We got to see how rapid the current was on a stormy day. Very cool. I'm sure on sunny day you get to see the city. I love their croissant, spinach cheese danish, toast, peanut scramble bread and more. They also have sweet treats, cakes, sandwiches. All are very good. Remember to sign up for the reward program. You accrue points for free pastry and other items. The staff were friendly. Very efficient on packing all the food. The line was moving quick. read more

Similar layout to the Paris Baguette in Ramsey, NJ, this is a rather newly opened location in Edgewater. On a Saturday afternoon, they had a decent mix of customers and the usual selection of pastries, drinks and sandwiches, though some had sold out. Service was nice too. This was the most seating I've seen in a PB since they also had outdoor seating with nice views of the water when the weather is good. The parking can be a pain even though it's a shared shopping plaza but if you're willing to walk a little you should be able to find a spot. I'm absolutely in love! We stopped here on the morning of my birthday before heading to the spa, and it was the perfect choice. There were so many options to choose from that I was overwhelmed - but in a good way! I love discovering new French inspired Korean bakeries. It's probably one of my favorite concepts, and I'm glad more keep popping up. There were so many great pastries to choose from. Unfortunately I didn't love the crab-stuffed croquette, probably because it was imitation crab. I also wasn't a fan of the chai latte. It was very milky and not spiced enough. The sticky milk bun and the cheese quiche were absolutely my favorites! The cheesecake soufflé was also very tasty. I fell in love with them so much that I looked if there were locations in the DMV so I can indulge more often. read more

My boyfriend and I have visited this Paris Baguette a couple of times now with very different experiences. On a holiday weekend, we got great service and spent over $65 between the both of us. Fresh pastries, great drinks, amazing sandwiches. However, our weekday visit told a completely different story. PARKING The parking lot is always packed, but it's a large enough lot with space to take some steps if necessary. ATMOSPHERE From the outside, this place looks rinky dinky, but the inside is mesmerizing. The inside can get quite noisy, almost as if it echoes due to the high ceilings. The outside is lovely Everyone's respectful of their volume outside on the waterfront, and sitting outside took the cake! SERVICE This is where my experience gets mixed. On the holiday weekend, everyone was super efficient and fast. My iced drink was great, and the sandwiches were amazing. The excellent service was from Priti S, who went ABOVE and beyond for my boyfriend and I! On a weekday, the workers looked lost and overwhelmed. This place is always busy it seems, and they had a hard time managing the flow around 11am. The service I received from Jennifer H was disappointing, though she gave my boyfriend excellent service. He even got a very nice strawberry matcha latte that was better than the weekend one. My boyfriend and I decided to pay separately, and I was trying to remember to mention my drink order precisely because I'm allergic to whole milk. My boyfriend walked up with me to the cashier, and I said "don't mind him, we're paying separately," then turned to him and apologized for not wording it better. Jennifer H misinterpreted this interaction and treated me poorly afterward. I get it, he's handsome. I'm amazingly lucky! But that doesn't excuse behavior or poor service by taking things out of context and judging me based on a small interaction. She mixed up my sandwich order. I handed her a Caprese Baguette but was charged for a chicken Caesar baguette. My boyfriend was confused because he knows I don't eat meat as my first meal of the day, and he witnessed my sandwich being given to another customer. When I asked to have my sandwich heated, she put my sandwich in a paper bag after it was done while his went in a box after his was heated. She practically threw mine onto the dirty counter top with no tray. My boyfriend was furious and got me my own tray because she assembled his to leave my stuff out. When she eventually made my order right, she put it in another paper bag with the same dismissive attitude. She also pulled out her phone to text in front of customers, which seems unprofessional. My boyfriend received excellent service from Jennifer H while I was treated poorly, which was particularly frustrating given that we were both customers deserving equal respect. The sandwiches really need to be labeled since the Caprese and chicken Caesar baguettes are on different shelves and look completely different. OVERALL This Paris Baguette has great potential and a beautiful waterfront location. Priti S provided exceptional service that shows what this establishment can be at its best. However, consistency in service seems to be an issue. I get overwhelmed easily in busy environments and sometimes struggle with communication, and I'm working to get better 1% every day. Everyone deserves the same level of service regardless. Service ultimately comes down to establishments putting the right people in place as well. I hope the management addresses these service inconsistencies so all customers can enjoy the wonderful food and atmosphere this place has to offer. I also don't want to attack Jennifer H. Maybe she was having an off day or maybe she was new. Maybe I read it wrong, but even my boyfriend was put off by her behavior and told me I should write a review. read more

I came and found exactly what I expected (from past experiences at their other locations around NY and NJ), and it did not disappoint. WOW!! What a great addition to Edgewater! This storefront must be the largest and the nicest Paris Baguette I have been to in NJ and NYC! It's conveniently located in a strip mall including Trader Joe's and a variety of restaurants. It's right by the Hudson River. What an amazing view it has of the NYC skyline! Imagine sipping your favorite drink and enjoying some yummy treats sitting outdoor especially when it's nice out! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seatings throughout the store. Loved how you can see the process of cakes being made through a glass window from the outside! Lots of bakery goods, sandwiches, drinks and of course cakes! Staff were super friendly. It opens early at 6am! Plenty of free parking in front. Don't forget to sign up as a member to earn points! I redeemed my reward today for BOGO butter croissant. Yum!! read more

This Paris Baguette location is a welcome addition in the Edgewater Marketplace! The storefront is deceiving because it appears small from the outside. However, it is quite spacious with a ton of seating - booth and tables! Since it is in a shopping center, it is always busy when I've visited. I came here for dessert after lunch nearby. The place looked brand new. It's definitely less crowded (for now) compared to other Paris Baguette locations in nearby towns. This location also has an outdoor terrace which would be great in the summer. We ordered drinks (matcha latte, iced cappuccino, pumpkin pie latte) and a mocha cake slice to share. The drinks took a while and the barista was wearing AirPods so couldn't quite hear people's requests. Other than that, the drinks and dessert were good. I've been here a few times since it opened hoping it was new store glitches but unfortunately it hasn't improved. The location is beautiful with great outdoor space and has great potential. The service is slow and indifferent. The quality is not up to par with the rest of the great franchises in Fort Lee and Palisades Park. They are always "sold out" of skim milk. The temperature on the coffee is lukewarm at best and when I asked to be reheated they blame the machine. With such great places in the area that are consistently good and friendly I'll be skipping this location. read more

The service was a little slow, considering that they just opened it has been busy. I feel that there should be more people on the clock if they know it's going to be busy. The pastries are good and the matcha was good. The Dubai chocolate matcha drink was not so good though. The atmosphere was really nice though. read more

So I place order for some 5 pastries online. It states 30 minutes wait time. I ordered hot beverage at same time. It says on order to show cashier if my order which I did. Now it's 8.10am on thanksgiving day , not busy in store, people are just chatting. So I go and ask if my order is ready. The person tells me an item is not available, but saw one on display. Now why dose it take 30 minutes to box 5 pastries that were on display. I feel these people are not managed efficiently like a Starbucks. Beautiful spot and perfect all around, but one awful problem--terribly weak air-conditioning on hot summer days. They must have known it to be a problem because they have a portable air-conditioner sitting in the far corner to supplement their weak central air. But there were two Korean ladies who turned the unit around to face only them hogging it up. It was not terribly hot inside, but hot enough to feel uncomfortable and sticky. I was planning to enjoy some nice pastries while working on my laptop, but the heat made it hard to concentrate. So I had to leave in just 20 minutes. For such a beautiful brand new cafe, it's a shame that they went cheap on the air conditioning. If they fix this one problem, then I'll be sure to change my review to 5 star because everything else is perfect. Will check there again soon. read more
