Had a few valentines cookies: rainbow cookie, there take on black and white cookie. The rainbow cookie had a nice chocolate coating, was moist inside. The black and white cookie was soft, the icing was a bit sweet for my taste. Overall would look into purchasing cookies from here

First of all...I LOVE Orwashers and have immensely enjoyed their raisin bread, black and white cookies, and their sandwiches, The one star is given for false advertising of the price of their sandwiches. I visited the shop on Monday and purchased their advertised New York Breakfast that I "thought" cost $12.75...however, when the person who took my order...who was also the cashier...and she also was the one who made the sandwich rang me up, the bill was over $16. I said I think there was a mistake, that sandwich is $12.75 and even with tax, it would not cost over $16. She looked at her register...then she looked behind her at the hanging menu sign listing the items and the prices, and then said, "I will tell the manager - that is the price...$14.75 not 12.75 plus tax. At that point, the cashier should have charged me the advertised price...but she did not. Then, I received my sandwich and was disappointed in both the quality of the bagel and the meager amount of lox. I emailed the manager(?) and was given a nice response saying that the new signs with the higher prices were going to be installed soon...just unacceptable as an answer. Obviously, if the menu/price signs were not ready when the computer/cash register was re-programmed...then the "old" prices should have been honored by your customers.

New York breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately not that much salmon and I miss capers and red onion. Interesting change on a classic though. The pistachio crunch croissant was surprisingly very good.

Fantastic friendly service. Too salty of goods. A nice woman helped me and was uber patient with my order. Thank you! I got $50 of good. Bagels, onion breads, and croissants. Cream cheese is $6, a little steep imo, for $2.50 bagels. The bagels were average. A little salty. Nothing groundbreaking. The croissants were terrific. Wish I'd spent the whole $50 on those. Maybe their sweets are better cuz anything salty was too much. The onion breads were too much. Way too much onion. Nice corner stop and nice inside.

If you need a good breakfast spot in the Upper West Side, Orwashers needs to be on your list. The list of breakfast sandwiches and other options are definitely a great way to start the day. (No, this is not sponsored but I wish it was). I got the New York Breakfast and a cold brew. Perfect amount of salmon and dill cream cheese. I liked the onions but kind of wish they were chopped into smaller pieces. Regardless it tasted amazing and I would go back!

Great bakery, great freshly baked bagels, love the authenticity.... But how a bagel with cream cheese and 2 slices of salmon is 12$!, when by itself bagel is 2$. It was still perfect bagel, they one I would expect to get in NY, just slightly hard on the edge. Perfectly toasted though. Been there before and probably would come back Would recommend it to everyone. I love that it's bakery, the ambience and style. Service is also fast and friendly. Oh, they also have great coffee!

The Mango and Pistachio looked so realistic and mirrored the flavors perfectly. I love the size of their cakes which are perfect to share with a group of 4. I indulged in their Black Sesame Mochi Cake and Blueberry Chiffon Cake which both have the fluffiest sponge cake base, a fluffy vibrant cream, and fresh ingredients and fruit. Give their drinks a try too. I enjoy their matcha here! The Traffic Lights is a strawberry matcha with a mango cream top. And I also tried their Black Sesame Latte but substituted the espresso for matcha and loved this customized pairing. FYI, there is no bathroom!

Finally decided to try this place after walking by it for years. I refused to try this in the past,…read morebecause I didn't like how many items they put on display. It felt like items weren't made with care and mass produced at a factory or something. I went 10 minutes before they closed and there was still 10+ of each dessert. I'm not convinced that they will dispose of them. Even if they do, it means they didn't do a good job in forecasting demand especially after being in business for multiple years. I ordered mango and yuzu. Both were too sweet and had one dimensional flavor and textures, not refreshing per their stated flavors. Even if their appearances take effort, they don't look pretty enough for me to forgive what goes in my mouth. I'm used to having patisseries with many layers and elements. Mango's sponge probably only took up 20% of the bottom, because I barely had bites of it. Most of my bites didn't have any. I didn't like how liquid the filling was. It didn't exactly ooze out but just melted into a puddle in my mouth. Yuzu looks pretty with the pink and yellow glaze, but it didn't go with the realistic fruit theme. I chose it for the flavor combination which is strawberry, yuzu, and guava. This was slightly better in terms of flavor variety in the mouth. The flower on top had a weird off putting flavor. The bottom crispy rice apparently is supposed to be chocolate but it came out plain. It was tasteless anyway, so not effective in terms of flavor or texture.

I heard they have a good rainbow cookie! I left with 8 rainbow cookies and 1 slice of coconut cake. I schlepped them on the L, then the C, and all the way to the UWS. I put the box in the refrigerator and sampled the goods a little later. The rainbow cookies are fine but the coconut cake is where it's at! It's 3 layers with thick icing and lots of coconut. Everything was delicious and it held up very well with our travel back to Koreatown area and the flight home to Florida. I have a core memory of cheesecake that was crust less from my childhood that my mom used to get and keep in the freezer. I've been searching for that unique flavor and this is it! I had to run to work after an appointment so I ordered for takeout. The person taking my order was friendly. I opted for the Lumberjack and a black cold brew. I received the drink very quickly, with a short wait for the sandwich. While waiting, one member of the staff stocking up supplies on the side started chatting with me and then she offered to check up on my sandwich. She came out with it shortly thereafter. She was very friendly and helpful. The sandwich held up well during my 15-minute commute to the office. It is a really indulgent sandwich, with each bite revealing the sweetness and butteriness of the maple crueller, the saltiness of the thick cut bacon, and the savoriness of the cheese and the eggs as the yolks popped. I sipped the cold brew in between bites to cut the richness. It was a very satisfying meal. The Lumberjack is not something I would recommend you eat every day, but it's good as an occasional treat. In the past I've ordered lunch from Daily Provisions via delivery (the "Chefy" salad and the chicken milanese with arugula salad are my favorites), but I might start adding other breakfast sandwiches to the mix.

I had never heard of the place before, but I was happy to give it a try -- and I'm so glad I did. From the moment you walk in, the experience feels special. The store has two beautiful double doors that create such a grand entrance, and once inside, you immediately feel the energy. The place was bustling with people, and everyone seemed happy and excited -- from the customers to the team behind the counter and the baristas. The cookie case was overflowing with so many amazing choices that it was hard to decide! I ended up getting the Rocky Road cookie, a Double Chocolate Chip cookie, a Two Chip Chocolate Chip cookie, and a blueberry muffin to enjoy for breakfast the next morning. The service was absolutely impeccable, and everyone I interacted with was warm, friendly, and delightful. When I got home, I had half of the Rocky Road cookie with a cup of tea, and it was incredible. The cookie was large and chunky but still perfectly enjoyable -- not heavy or overwhelming. It literally melted in my mouth. The chocolate was rich and smooth, and every bite was just delicious. The next morning, I tried the blueberry muffin, and it was just as impressive. It was light and airy, not overly sweet like many blueberry muffins can be. It truly felt like a breakfast pastry. The blueberries tasted fresh and burst with flavor in every bite. I will definitely be back for more cookies. This was such a wonderful find, and I'm so happy my coworker introduced me to this place!
