Rose Chicken Pasta
Pedro M.

Had a great experience at Mavi's! The interior is cozy and stylish, and they also offer outdoor seating, which is a nice option when the weather's good. We were seated in about two minutes, even though it wasn't very busy they still take the time to seat you, which adds a nice touch. One cool feature: each table has a button panel where you can request service, pay, or order more. No pressure, and you don't have to wave anyone down. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, and the pepperonis were thin and crisp, which made it really enjoyable. I also had the rose chicken pasta, and it was fantastic. The staff told me upfront that it's usually spicy and were able to make it milder I appreciated that kind of attention to detail. Drinks were a matcha and a piña colada both tasty, but the piña colada was my favorite. I didn't get to try their ice cream this time around, but I definitely plan to come back for it. Friendly team, great food, and an easygoing vibe. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

really cute restaraunt to go to for dates! this pizza pasta restaraunt has korean and italian influences. i got the spicy rose donkatsu pasta which id highly recommend. i also got the kimchi bulgogi pizza which was very thin and i'd probably pass on next time. i didn't really taste the bulgogi flavor - just tasted like regular tomato pizza. the mugwort icecream caught my eye but that's for next time. there's a bunch of cute eateries nearby to take a peek at while you're in the area!

Cute little pasta cafe around the corner from main street, I've been curious about their pasta and I'm glad we visited. Everything from the drinks to the food was delicious. The atmosphere definitely leans cafe, but it's great you can get a simple, but elegant bowl of pasta, then be on your way. Even the cream pasta didn't feel to heavy. Only regret is not having tummy space to try their pizza!

I was craving pasta and glad we chose this place. Friday night was expectedly busy, we had to look around for parking but luckily we got seated easily. The service was quick and the staff were nice and attentive. Everyone loved their choice of pasta ( red/ rose/ white) and the pizza was delicious! The cheese and the oil both oozed freshness! I'm eying on their brunch menu and coming soon to try avocado toast

Love me some Mavi's. This eatery specializes in Korean-style pasta and pizza. A fusion of Italian and Korean flavors? Sounds good to me! My favorite pasta dishes are the cajun cream with shrimp and the spicy rose cheese with donkatsu. I LOVE how creamy their sauces are and you can even adjust the spice level. The donkatsu could use some improvement though. Sometimes the meat is tough and the breading is overly fried. As for the pizza, I've only tried the Kimchi Bulgogi. They use organic beets for the dough so the crust is pink. Honestly I didn't think there was anything special about it in terms of taste. I expected a lot more considering bulgogi and kimchi have notable flavors... but it was pretty basic. I'm willing to try a different pizza next time! If the pasta and pizza aren't up your alley, they have some brunch options as well as salads, desserts, espresso drinks, and bubble tea. I've tried their breakfast platter, iced mocha, and brown sugar bubble tea. They were all tasty, but nothing mind blowing. The pastas are definitely the big focus! Prices are similar to a gourmet pizza or pasta shop. They're on the higher end for the portion sizes they offer, but they have lunch specials and happy hour! Just a little note- Although it has a cafe-like ambiance, this is only a sit-down restaurant with service buttons on each table. No wifi or laptops allowed.

This is us celebrating my birthday, which I share with my daughter.

It's a nice size place, has parking and the staff is friendly and inviting. The pizzas were bigger than expected, so we ordered too much. It's ok because there's always enough for lunch the next day. We also ordered appetizers, so I got full on one slice. The dough was pink and tasty, it had the right amount of cheese and topping, and each were delicious. I had the garlic shrimp pizza, I didn't care for it much. I recommend the plain cheese pizza or the Margarita pizza, less is more. We left full and happy, loved the blueberry Ade. There was one napkin per person on the table, it's pizza and we had to ask for more. I still recommend this place.

Mavi's has a lovely outdoor and indoor space perfect for either a big or smaller group. Place is spacious and kept very clean with a shared parking space available close by. The pizza and pasta here are wonderful! perfect flavors and beautifully made doughs so when youre here, these are definitely worth getting. They have lots of drink options too including coffees and bubble teas. The matcha was pretty good but I may have had better bubble teas - nevertheless, theirs is still good and I actually enjoyed the banana and mugwort flavored ones. Ordering/paying is convenient and there is a button at every table whenever youre ready to do either or. Will have to come back and try more on the menu though, lots of interesting things here and did I mention they are prepared beautifully too!

interior is super cute and the spot is pretty calm and quiet. it wasn't too busy which was nice. the servers weren't as attentive, we had to call out for them each time we needed them, which was okay but felt bad yelling across the restaurant. food was all pretty good! the spicy rose pasta had a nice kick but wasn't too spicy. the garlic shrimp pizza still had its tails on which was a little weird but i ate them anyways. the avocado salad was also delicious! would come back here!

Mugwort Latte with boba
Caitlin K.

Solid place for pizza, pasta, and drinks! Enjoyed the pastas I got, but thought the tomato one was lacking flavor. The pesto pasta was very good though. Also enjoyed the mugwort latte with boba which I was able to get with oat milk.

Strawberry Pina Colada which hit the spot. :)

I stopped by today for brunch and it's a great place to dine in because the atmosphere is very nice, there is plenty of parking in the back, the staff was very kind, attentive and helpful, the food was very delicious and the drink was very refreshing. So my overall experience was a very positive one. The Strawberry Pina Colada was very cool and refreshing and the Pizza Aloha had a nice crispy crust and the toppings and cheese made it very delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.

Unique and delicious! I love Fort Lee! It's a great place to find wonderful restaurants. My friend & I came here for lunch and we were extremely impressed with the service and food! We sat and talked for a while, when the server came by, I asked if he could give us a little more time. Then he showed us a little call button to use when we were ready. So cute! We ordered the Kimchi bulgogi pizza & the truffle cream pasta to share. They were both SO tasty!! I also got a taro bubble tea, which did not disappoint. The pizza dough is red! I don't know why, but it is very tasty! All the lights are made out of coffee grinders and there's digital menus for to-go orders.

The food here is SOO GOODD! I've gone here for so so soo many years. I even made an early call for the food order so it's out right away when I arrive and they have a table ready right away as well. The service is excellent, friendly. The atmosphere of the restaurant is beautiful. Love this place.

Always a super delicious pick in Fort Lee. A must visit for their delicious pastas! The servers are very kind and ensure you have the best experience there.

I traveled all the way from NY today to have lunch here with a few friends (recommended by my other friends), why are you guys closed? Or why not updated your hours on Yelp? I am quite disappointed...

It's too bad they close early. I wish they'd open for longer.

What time is happy hour for $10 pastas?

My husband and I were headed into NYC for an event when we unexpectedly got stuck in deadlock…read moretraffic. Rather than continue the stressful drive, we decided to take the next exit and find a nearby restaurant and La Noma Italian Steakhouse stood out as an upscale restaurant option. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance makes an impression. The space is upscale, chic, modern, and sophisticated, with warm neutral tones of crème and brown throughout. The ceilings, artwork, and architectural details all give the restaurant an elegant feel. We started with the seared octopus, which came in second to the grilled octopus from our favorite Mediterranean restaurant (we are particular about grilled octopus, so this is a compliment). We also split the Bone Marrow Bolognese. I personally enjoyed it, though my husband wasn't quite as impressed. For dessert, we ordered the Cremosa, made with passion fruit purée and white chocolate cremosa, and we both loved it. The wine and champagne selection was top notch. As a certified sommelier, I especially appreciated the curated options and variety available. Overall, I gave La Noma 4 stars because while I enjoyed the meal, my husband didn't love the pasta dish as much as I did. That said, we both agreed this is absolutely a must-visit spot before or after a movie at the nearby iPic Theater. Between the ambiance, attentive service, extensive wine and champagne list, and diverse menu options, this is definitely a restaurant we'll return to. To be considerate of the staff and timing, we looked over the menu on the way there so we would be ready to order immediately upon being seated. However, after being seated and brought water, it took nearly 20 minutes before a server even came to our table to provide the complimentary bread and take our order. It's also important to note that this was one of the last reservation slots of the night, and there were only about 4-5 occupied tables in the restaurant. Two of those tables seemed to just be there for drinks, yet every other table was being attended to and served regularly while our table was overlooked. We were the youngest of all the tables and dressed accordingly and they seemed to pay more attention to the table of men in button ups and suits. According to other reviews, seems like this isn't the first time they pick and choose who they want to provide good service for. We ordered a good amount of food which are shown in the pics below to be shared with 2 of my close friends and myself. Props to the bartender, the Espresso Martini from here has to be one of the best we've tried!! We ordered the steak Medium Rare, and received it back perfectly cooked. It was seasoned well but wish it came with a more generous serving of the veggies, The Oysters tasted very fresh and sweet which we also loved! Pastas were very flavorful but definitely way over priced for a serving enough for just one person unless you're planning to share everything family style. Ambiance of place is very nice and aesthetic and was pleased with the food, the only reason why this place is getting a 3/5 star is because of the service we had received. Note: They also add auto gratuity of 20%... which is another reason. For that I expect better service than what we received... it felt like there was little incentive to provide quality service when the tip was already guaranteed regardless of the overall experience. Hopefully next time we come back we will receive way better attentiveness.

After mulling over the menu we were set for dinner. My colleague had the fillet mignon, medium rare with mushroom and Bolognese sauce. I got the rigatoni with eggplant. The dinner starts out with two rolls and butter. Be sure to ask for a choice of rolls as it appears, there are three or four different options to choose from. They were OK, not warm, a bit on the stale side. My colleague enjoyed the steak saying it was tender and filling. It was juicy and had a lot of flavor to it. The overall feedback was positive. My rigatoni was Al Dante, perfect! The red sauce was just right. Not too sweet nor too tangy. There was a fair amount of eggplant and balls of mozzarella cheese. I added Parmesan cheese sprinkled on the top. Every bit of my meal was eaten. Not all meals include a salad. The filet did include a salad. I had to get a side salad. The salads were a bit small and lacking variety but overall OK. Overall this restaurant is a good choice.

I remember trying the cheese foam tea at this location (Fort Lee) when they first opened ~ 6 years ago and I wasn't a huge fan. I recently decided to give it another go. This time I ordered the Super Fruit Green Tea (~$8). I took the first sip and I knew I wasn't going to finish it. Not sure if the drink wasn't mixed properly, but it didn't taste balanced at all. The flavors were all over the place and every sip was something different - bitter, overwhelmingly sour, or sweet/syrupy. Bleh. Didn't taste like a refreshing fruit tea. The tapioca pearls were good - soft and chewy. Props to them for using real slices of fruit in the drink. The interior is super cute and "Instagram-worthy". It's spacious with plenty of seating. There's animal plushies, neon signage, a green wall, and claw games. Snap your photos away! Service was quick on a late weeknight, but the lack of customer interaction was off-putting. Call me old-fashioned, but I can't stand it when I walk into a business and employees stare at you and give off the "just order on the kiosks because I don't want to interact" type of vibe. Would it hurt ya to at least greet a customer? This could've been an "I ordered the wrong drink" situation. Or not.

But the staff was very accommodating and expedited the drinks. I had the matcha with tofu pudding and my husband had the taro with regular pudding. I don't think these specific drinks had a customizable sugar level but I wish there was because they were a little too sweet. Both drinks were just okay (probably due to the sweetness level) but the toppings were good. It came out to $21 for two drinks, so pretty expensive - but it seems like that is the minimum for real bubble tea nowadays.
