    Lobster ravioli

More like 3.5 but generally speaking it was a good experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everyone talks about this old school neighborhood restaurant/hangout and there is no doubt that even after the recent renovation this place is still a 100% old school vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Maybe it's because the average age of the clientele that night was hovering in the 50-60 year old range but at least you can tell this place has it's share of long time/old customers (in the figurative and literal sense) so it must be at least pretty good? I'd say from a service standpoint, this place gets a solid A. The hosts are friendly, the servers are super attentive and kind and they absolutely make you feel welcome and at home here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance, like I said, is pretty old school but there is something relaxing about this place that feels pretty comfortable regardless of the vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was a mixed experience. The recipes and menu feels dated, like that restaurant you used to go to with your parents like 30 years ago like of vibe. But I will say some of the dishes were pretty good. Oddly enough the garlic bread and house salad they give you (when you order an entree) were my favorite parts of the meal. The old school herb dressing on the salad and the yummy garlic bread pretty much filled me up - especially when you couple it with the shrimp garlic appetizer which has an addictive sauce that is highly amplified by the garlic bread - those dishes alone made me feel like I was in a familiar old restaurant I ate years ago elsewhere. The lobster ravioli was just okay. The sauce was pretty good and the portions were immense (all the portions here are pretty huge). The ravioli itself was just okay, with huge stuffing and not super flavorful w/o the heavy sauce. The spaghetti and meatballs I ordered for my kids were immense though they seemed to like it. The one thing that was not that great was the onion soup, which had a really lovely layer of cheese but the broth was not flavorful and some of the onions seemed undercooked as well. The staff was also kind enough to give the kids some free ice cream. They enjoyed it very much. Generally speaking I'd come back again just to slurp up those garlic shrimps and the really delicious salad and for the overall good experience and kind service. I just would manage my expectations on any groundbreaking food experience of any sort. But for a nice local joint and a relaxing evening out for dinner, I'd come back for sure.

In Napoli 116 Main St. Fort Lee, NJ 07024 The mozzarella cheese was melted with a golden char. The cutlet was on the thicker side. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As a bonus, as you first enter the restaurant, admire the autographed pictures of celebrities including Vincent Curatola, the late Pee-wee Herman, and several other familiar actors.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Food was amazing. The salad was the best salad i had in a long time, the chicken francese sauce was outstsnding. Service was great... [[HIGHLIGHT]]warm, quiet atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]..Worth it!

I have been coming to In Napoli for so many years, over 14 years. From the old owners to the new and have always liked the food, atmosphere, jukebox, wine, drinks, and staff/service and still do. I have been to the new and improved in Napoli since the owners remodeled and it looks great. They still have the jukebox but sadly the popcorn is gone but thats okay I'm not big on popcorn though it did help when drinking. Food is still really good. My steak was better than I remember it being! Penne vodka so delicious! Love the tiramisu and carrot cake! Oh and they have good strong coffee. Great service for food and at the bar. I will be back to play some music, eat, and drink wine or liquor depending on the mood that day.

Just to say from the start , the food is phenomenal! We ordered the coconut shrimp for an appetizer and initially seeing the size of the dish vs the price had me sighing- but when you bite into the shrimp and realize the quality and juiciness under the perfectly crusted shrimp, it's worth it. Then you are brought a complimentary house salad that has a refreshing balsamic dressing with a fresh and crisp taste & fresh garlic bread. Truly yum. We had lobster Mac, ribeye and veal Francese which were all cooked so well. The food is a 8.5-10. Now the service , was a bit awkward. For some reason there was only three of us but the servers and wait staff kept getting confused and giving us either too little or too much of things such as waters and utensils. It was a bit weird seeing as there were only two tables at the time so no rush to anything. The server also seemed to be less than enthusiastic and also insisted I ordered a dish I knew I didn't because only two options weee in my kind....veal or pasta - not chicken like she insisted. Order was fixed promptly after but still, the vibe was off. The place is modern and well decorated.

The place has been nicely updated and kept fresh with tasteful renovations without loosing its local pizzeria restaurant touch. Service was delivered with a smile and it was good to hear about the original owners Mr and Mrs Franco. My son and daughter had to have a NY pizza in NY - but stated this was better and without the hefty cost and the crazy wait My personal favorites from the past are the cheese pizza and the mussels, and the sausage and pepper heroes This time only was able to eat the pizza since we had already had dinner, honestly it tasted great . Unsure when I'll be back but will definitely make a stop. For reference had gone to school in NYC for 9 years and had plenty of Rays or other NY pizza and Franco's was always my goto. And currently living in Az -- I have enjoyed pizzeria bianco but know what it is like to miss some good old fashioned pizza Thank you Mr and Mrs Franco for the memories

The menu isn't massive, but they cover every category with extreme precision and do it really well. Seafood, pasta, veal, chicken, and all the classic appetizers you can think of from stuffed artichokes, zucchini blossoms, and house-made burrata. The ambiance is old-school Italian in the best way: timeless, romantic, and cozy. It works just as well for an intimate date night as it does for a small group dinner. Bonus points for being BYOB. We ordered the veal marsala and the seafood pomodoro. The veal was pounded to perfection and swimming in a ridiculously addictive sauce. The seafood pasta was cooked perfectly and loaded with fresh shrimp, clams, and mussels and you can taste the quality and care put in the food. Meals are served with a salad to start, and you can expect to spend around $35 per entrée, which feels more than fair for the quality. We were genuinely impressed and were treated with a lot of attention throughout the meal. The concept of the restaurant being run by two italian twins was honestly so sweet. Highly recommend if you're looking for classic Italian done right without trekking into the city.

Typically not a big "restaurant at a hotel food guy" but the experience and food here we're both pretty good. There's a nice choice of seating if you prefer a bar experience or a sit down restaurant experience. We chose to sit down restaurant experience. Our waiter was very friendly and quite attentive. After mulling over the menu we were set for dinner. My colleague had the fillet mignon, medium rare with mushroom and Bolognese sauce. I got the rigatoni with eggplant. The dinner starts out with two rolls and butter. Be sure to ask for a choice of rolls as it appears, there are three or four different options to choose from. They were OK, not warm, a bit on the stale side. My colleague enjoyed the steak saying it was tender and filling. It was juicy and had a lot of flavor to it. The overall feedback was positive. My rigatoni was Al Dante, perfect! The red sauce was just right. Not too sweet nor too tangy. There was a fair amount of eggplant and balls of mozzarella cheese. I added Parmesan cheese sprinkled on the top. Every bit of my meal was eaten. Not all meals include a salad. The filet did include a salad. I had to get a side salad. The salads were a bit small and lacking variety but overall OK. Overall this restaurant is a good choice.
