THE GOOD ---------------- + Food flavors were solid, but there were definitely some misses and things that could have been a bit better (mentioned below). ++++ Calamari wasn't spectacular, but it was still decent. It could have been a bit crispier. ++++ Lentil Soup that was served with our entrees was very good. It didn't come out hot, but instead lukewarm, however it was very flavorful. ++++ Chicken Parmigiana was hugeeeeee! It was 1 gynormous piece of breaded chicken on a plate to itself! The linguine was on its own side plate. The chicken parm was fantastic though - lots of sauce, crispy exterior and delicious. ++++ Filet of Sole stuffed with Crab Meat was exactly how I like it, stuffffed to the gills with crab meat! It was basically a giant crab cake wrapped with a filet of sole and it was mmm mmmm good. It came with a vegetable medley and a round potato croquette. ++++ Surf and Turf was to my liking, but not my better half's. The steak was requested at medium, but it was definitely medium rare. I was perfectly fine with it, but not my wife. The lobster tail was excellent though. ++++ Ricotta Pistachio Cheesecake was delicious! Very soft and different than your average solid cheesecake. Get it! + Restaurant is suppppper spacious with 2 dining rooms and lots of tables. + Huge parking lot all around the restaurant. THE NOT SO GOOD ---------------------------- - Undercooked steak mentioned above was a semi-biggie. It was rarer than we preferred. - Small mishap with our entree starters where we asked for 2 Lentil soups, but they gave us 2 salads instead. - Service was slowwwwwwww throughout our Christmas Eve dinner. -------The waiters were definitely busy, but we spent 2+ hours here for dinner and the time between dishes was much longer than we're used to at other restaurants. ---- Everyone was pleasant to us, but we did feel a bit of bias towards other customers - as in food was dropped off at our table and then the waiter would jet away, while at other tables there seemed to be a lot more mingling going on between the waiter and the customers. Not sure if it was because we had kids with us or other factors. ---- Not one time did anyone come by to check on how we were doing or if our dishes were to our liking. MIXED THOUGHTS --------------------------- = The food sort of - mentioned above. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = We arrived at 6PM and dined till 8:15PM on Christmas Eve and the restaurant was busy, but not overly so. We made a reservation, but there were plenty of open tables. = They served from a condensed Holiday menu for Christmas Eve. CONCLUSION -------------------- = The food was up and down, but mostly up for me. Service was disappointing to say the least - not because they weren't friendly to us, but just because of the speed and the lack of attention. Came here this afternoon for my father's birthday, a perfectly solid Italian restaurant. Food: got some calamari (as always) which was light and I really enjoyed the spicy marinara. For dinner I ordered cheese ravioli with vodka sauce and it was really light for a vodka sauce which I like. Enjoyable all together. Aesthetic: deceiving large restaurant with a bar, dining area, and event area. I was talking with my family about how much I enjoy the cut out wine shelves/displays built into the wall. Service: our waiter, Amir, was excellent and exceptionally funny. We came here for a quiet fathers day family dinner, we have been here many times in the past. we ended up on a Friday night when a private party was going on in the banquet room, they had one waiter on hand to man the dining area. the waiter ignored our specific food requests, took one hour for our main course's to come out. it was obvious that they were more concerned about hosting the private party than the people in the dining area. music was very loud made for an unpleasant dining experience. we should have been told that there was a party going on when we made our reservation , or even close off the general dining area to dinner guests. very disappointing, because we like the food , suggest you call ahead on the weekends and ask if there will be a private party that day. we will not be coming back . read more

Last Saturday, my family went to Bistro 107 for dinner. I had an appetizer of clams on a half shell and for an entree, I had jumbo shrimp with linguini. My girlfriend had an appetizer of six small artichokes and seafood combination with little lobster, shrimp, scallops, and baked clams for an entree. My brother had a free birthday dinner because the owner remembered him. My family's meals were very tasty. The atmosphere was family friendly. The waiter was excellent because he was patient. Outside in the parking lot, the handicap parking is right next to the door. My overall experience was 5/5 stars. read more

Stopped in for a New Year's Eve dinner and the manager was nice enough to fit us in before their scheduled party was to take place. Our server, Richie, was amazing, from start to finish. He gave very good recommendations and accommodated our specific preferences. The Coconut Mojitos were ideally crafted and strong. The calamari appetizer was so good. The batter that surrounded the calamari was thin, not one clump, and that dipping sauce was exquisite. Just the right consistency and amount to dip every one of them.  The Chicken Francaise was very good. It had the perfect amount of wine sauce and the accompanying penne pasta was delicious. For dessert, we shared the cheesecake and it was out of this world. The dollops of whipped cream were the precise amount for every spoonful of cheesecake. The cappuccino was just as good as the dessert. Warm enough to drink immediately after being served and in a tall glass. We had an unexpectedly wonderful experience at Bistro 107. We arranged a 30 person private luncheon after a funeral in NJ. We do not live in town so this was arranged over the phone. Happy Easter! Bistro 107 had a terrific special menu for the holiday and staff was on point throughout our dinner. Baked Clams, Pasta Bolognese, Coconut Shrimp were all very good starters! Also, our cocktails were strong, well made and arrived to our table fairly quickly. For dinner, Chicken Francese and Chicken Parm dishes were HUGE! May be two extra meals in those doggy bags! My grilled lamb chops were flavorful and a good portion. Yiayia's Lobster ravioli w/ shrimp in a light tomato sauce was very good as well. We are visiting from out of town and decided to try something we hadn't had before. I found Bistro 107 on DoorDash but had questions so I decided to save a little money and pick it up myself. I called the order in and the gentleman on the phone was nice and accommodating. We ordered the lamb chops, mixed grill, wild mushroom risotto, fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken and broccoli, kids spaghetti with meatballs, fresh bread, and salads. The pickup was smooth. They don't accept tap pay but I was able to type in my card info with no problem and the waiter or host who assisted us was great. He had great conversation and was very polite in the short interaction that we had. You can tell it's authentic Italian and the inside was so cute! Everything was fresh and tasted great! Bistro 107. Dolce Novita. Cucina Italiana. Whatever the actual name... from the outside it might not really grab your eye but as soon as you walk inside... there's just such a pleasant, bright, vibrant feel to this restaurant. Every single employee could not have been nicer or more welcoming from the first second to the very last after paying the bill. (These 'little things' really can make all the difference, right?) The menu is mostly by-the-numbers (with most of the 'hits' you'd expect from an Italian restaurant). The 'specials' felt like an afterthought and our waiter didn't seem invested in them so we didn't bother. The wine list is truncated but they definitely had some interesting looking 'signature drinks' - and I can confirm their "Italian Sangria" hit the spot. (But a bit too sweet to have more than one.) One kid (a proud carnivore) went with a steak entree and he kept explaining how tender it was and even the little bit of fat he encountered wasn't much of an issue and he'd eat that as well. His brother went with a pasta dish and kept letting me know how good it was. Myself? Having grown up in an Italian household there's some items you never would order out (because you've eaten them way too many times, or they just can't compete with your nonna's) but for some odd reason - the 'wild mushroom ravioli' was calling my name. And I gotta say: it was a pretty perfect dish. The 'shrooms mixed with asparagus in that pink sauce was just a knockout. "Dad, are you sad that you can't make something like that at home?" - one of my wise guy kids proudly zinging his old man. It was an absolute fluke how we first even stumbled upon Bistro 107 but from the complimentary bread (stellar!) to how smoothly the entire service went to just the overall vibe of the place... Well, let's start off with parking lot. Is it really bad and dirty. Walked in and the rugs were filthy. The entrance was filthy. The kitchen was dirty. The bathroom was really bad. The service was ok The drinks were terrible. we had to return it three times. The steak was not cooked so we had to send it back. The portions were very small. The ceiling had a lot of leaks. I was excited to attend a baby shower at Bistro 107 yesterday. I read the reviews beforehand and expected to have a good experience. Food was served buffet style. The buffet consisted of salad, pasta allá vodka, eggplant rollatini, chicken francaise, roasted pork, broiled salmon, mixed vegetables and potato croquette. Food was mediocre, nothing spectacular. We were served sangria, white and red wine. The sangria had barely any alcohol. At the table, we opened the white wine and added it to the sangria to try to get a buzz. I am not interested in giving Bistro 107 another try. There are much better Italian American restaurants in the area! read more

I would like to thank the chef for accommodating me with a marinara vegetable penne that was delicious and vegan friendly. I do want to reiterate that the staff was great and catered to my parents anniversary so beautifully. However, what I did not appreciate is the customers sitting right beside us. We were the only people of color in their restaurant during that hour and we were stared down to intimidation. Specifically an elderly Italian woman who acted as though she never seen a person of color and a girl with curly hair at an Italian restaurant. She stared at me and my family for a few minutes, specifically me. It was so uncalled for and so uncomfortable. As if we weren't allowed to eat there. I politely stared back until she got to turning back around to her party. I want to give feedback to the chef and staff; please continue doing what you are doing because you made us comfortable. However charging $20 for a plate that was just marinara sauce and cooked vegetables, I would gladly suggest reducing the price. Vegans are always looking to go to different restaurants however, our way of eating is not expensive.
