Chicken Burrito ... so delicious!

Absolutely the BEST Mexican food ever!!! I'm so glad this restaurant is so close to where I live! Absolutely the BEST Mexican food hands down!!

Pollo Guisado

Came across This new place with my classmate, Very nice Dećor, very clean and spacious. Was acknowledged as soon as we walked in. Placed my drink Order arrived quickly the taste was Great not to sweet and just the right amount of liquor. Chips were brought out the to table Right after the drinks Placed my food order came out fast my quesadilla was Amazing! And my friends pollo quisado was very well seasoned. Loved my whole experience will be going back to try more items off the menu. Also really Great Prices.

Delightful decor.

We had vegetarian enchiladas and toothpaste. They were delicious! We didn't realize we had arrived during happy hour. The waiter gave us the happy hour price on our margaritas without us even asking. I wish I had gotten hus name because he was a fantastic waiter. The restaurant has lots of atmosphere. We would definitely go back next time we are in town.

Vegetarian Nachos

In the midst of expensive overpriced Bergen county - this place is a hidden gem!!! I honestly don't know how they keep their prices so good (almost every meal was $10-12, and kids 2-7 eat free on Sundays!!), their service was very good, and their food is equally great. We loved their seasonings and their portion sizes are more than generous!! We will be going back very soon!!! Thank you so much!

Hubby and I are looking for a cocktail bar on a Saturday night and found this fairly new restaurant in Hackensack. So glad we did. It was a nice small place with 2 bars and roughly a dozen tables. We had the tequila sunrise, pina colada and one more we can't remember but have the picture attached. They did not disappoint. We also had the ceviche mixto and the red snapper. The ceviche and the cocktails are a perfect combo. Service was great and servers checked on us often. Food came out fairly quickly. Our server Shadie (hope we got it right) was also the bartender and she did a great job on both. She mentioned that they often have karaoke night on Fridays and Saturdays. We'll certainly be coming back and try the other drinks with the ceviche again.

Newcomer on Main Street serves up one of the best Birria Tacos in town. We weren't sure what we were in for so we tried a vast assortment to get a feel of the quality of Mexican faire and they delivered! Guacamole is 10 out for f 10 and the Taco Burrito was YUM! Cocktails were good and the service was pretty quick and hospitable. As for ambiance, it is mediocre, therefore not a date spot if you are looking to impress. Floors need an update, would recommend eliminating the front bar to add seating (there is a bar in the back as well), get rid of the atm at the entrance and add a touch of authentic decor/art. Come for the quality Mexican cuisine and the kind service.

This place is definitely worth the drive. The restaurant is relatively small so just be mindful and plan ahead. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant and how it was decorated. Very "day of the dead" theme even tho it was December. We went for taco Tuesday and all tacos are half off which was amazing. The tacos are pretty standard but I did love the options they had. The downside was the margaritas are made in the morning pre-made and you can't modify the type of tequila in it. They also didn't have frozen margaritas because the machine was broken. The guac with chips was really good. Our server was pretty attentive to us, always making sure we had full drinks.

Great food. Tasty Margheritas, and pleasant staff. The stone bowl kept the food hot. Home made hot sauce. Well be back.

Zen Den - Shuzo, the owner who took time to explain the different grades of Japanese sake. There should be more intimate bars like this!

Zen Den

A new hidden gem sake bar "Zen Sake Bar" has opened recently in this space. The renovated interior…read moreis warm and comfortable with bar and sofa seating. There is a good selection of premium sakes, Japanese whiskies and craft beers, and a small menu of well-executed Japanese dishes. This is a cozy and authentic spot for a date or if you want to have sophisticated drinks. There are no cocktails per se but they do make a good highball using premium whiskey. I recommend checking this place out soon before word spreads.

Drinks were reasonably priced but the whole experience falls apart at the bar. I went here on a Thursday night, and was floored by how terrible the bartenders were. There were two of them working, and I would say the place was just minorly crowded. It literally took about 10-15 minutes for the bartender to even ask me what I wanted (A beer and a simple mixed drink). He then proceeded to walk away inbetween each step of service... giving me the beer, putting ice in my glass, pouring my liquor, and then the mixer. Then when he was done, I waited a bit longer for him to allow me to pay. I was also surrounded by a group of others who were just standing around trying to close out their tabs (a process which involves the bartender giving the card to their manager who takes it back into the kitchen to run the card... which I'm sorry but is completely inefficient and takes too long and just looks shady). I left after my second drink because I could have fermented the vodka myself before getting served a third time. It's a shame because the space is well done and the music was, in my opinion, really good.

Despite living in this area for 15 years, I had no clue a club like Feathers was so nearby. Thanks…read moreto my good friend Eloy, a superstar Yelp Elite, who organized a meetup with few other Elites at Feathers. He also told us about the parking lot across the club where everyone parks conveniently to visit the club. We went to the club around 11pm, cover was $10 per person. The security at the door was impressive as the security personnel checked our IDs and had metal detector. Upon entering, we saw the club had free for guests to celebrate their 47th anniversary. The club had two floors. Both floor had bars and separate DJs jamming. First floor was more for hangout and gossip. Second floor had the larger dance floor where most people were partying. The DJ on second floor had some really good bits, but at times some dull ones too. There was also security personnel on second floor as well. They also got an outdoor backyard like place with benches and shacks for guests to hangout. Here they also placed a bar for guests to hangout and have drinks. Overall we had a wonderful hour and a half here. We had drinks, lots of dance groves and finally some nice chit chat in the outdoor space. Now that we had the experience, we will come to Feathers more often than going all the way to the city for clubbing.

Bartenders were very friendly and efficient. Drink was good. It was the 47 anniversary so there was some free food, which was cool but I didn't eat any. Overall a solid spot for good music and night out. I definitely will bring more friends here.

"Perfect for sharing!"…read more We had a great delivery experience yesterday! We shared the "Bistec a la Tampiquena" plate, and it was plenty for two people. The Sirloin was cooked exactly as I requested--well-done but still very juicy and flavorful. Everything tasted like a traditional Mexican home-cooked meal, though the green enchilada had a fantastic Tex-Mex vibe that really stood out. Even the rice and beans were wonderful. To top it off, the staff was so helpful and kind when I called in the order. I'm definitely a returning customer now!
