The place was pretty dead for a Friday afternoon :( Service wasn't really that great , upon arriving the bartender handed us menus and than went back to chatting with some other person at the bar ( probably a local ) and when we called her to order she actually walked away and said she'd be right back ( she actually had to go get the food for someone else that was waiting while she finished her conversation) . Anyways , it was like that the whole time we were there , maybe 3-4 people sitting at the bar and that included the 2 of us and yet she was just busy blabbering with the locals . Drinks were reasonably priced but the whole experience falls apart at the bar. I went here on a Thursday night, and was floored by how terrible the bartenders were. There were two of them working, and I would say the place was just minorly crowded. It literally took about 10-15 minutes for the bartender to even ask me what I wanted (A beer and a simple mixed drink). He then proceeded to walk away inbetween each step of service... giving me the beer, putting ice in my glass, pouring my liquor, and then the mixer. Then when he was done, I waited a bit longer for him to allow me to pay. I was also surrounded by a group of others who were just standing around trying to close out their tabs (a process which involves the bartender giving the card to their manager who takes it back into the kitchen to run the card... which I'm sorry but is completely inefficient and takes too long and just looks shady). I left after my second drink because I could have fermented the vodka myself before getting served a third time. It's a shame because the space is well done and the music was, in my opinion, really good.

New Milford, NJ 07746 $18.99 Lunch special: Hackensack Musket Haze Draft Beer Smash Cheeseburger Fries I encountered this deal from a leaflet that was placed on my front door, so I decided to stop by on a weekday afternoon. The lunch offer is valid Monday through Friday from 12 PM to 4 PM. Hackensack Musket Haze Draft Beef: There was a variety of ten different draft beers to select. I don't order from the tap often, so I wasn't familiar with the beers. Before making my decision, Server Marcos was kind enough to let me sample it to be sure I I would like it. The IPA was fantastic. It was served chilled with a bit of foam up top. There was a hint of citrus and it had a smooth taste. Unfortunately, free refills are not included with the lunch special. Smash Cheeseburger & Fries: This is a perfect lunch serving portion as it will definitely keep you full until supper time. The double patty was served on a potato roll with special sauce and toppings; it didn't disappoint. The proportion of fries could have been a bit larger, but it they were still tasty. There are several flat screen HDTVs for patrons that enjoy watching sports as they wine and dine. If you enjoy the nightlife or clubbing atmosphere, a silver disco ball is adorned at the center of the restaurant. There is a decently sized outdoor seating area, which includes one semi-circular booth. As a bonus, if you want to purchase any bottled or canned beverages to bring home, there is a liquor store conveniently attached to the pub. This was a great lunch deal and if you need a quick meal in the middle of the day, stop by Barrel and Brew today! #barrelandbrew #barrelandbrewcraftbar #barrelandbrewlunchspecial #barrelandbrewwineandspirits

Thanks…read moreto my good friend Eloy, a superstar Yelp Elite, who organized a meetup with few other Elites at Feathers. He also told us about the parking lot across the club where everyone parks conveniently to visit the club. We went to the club around 11pm, cover was $10 per person. The security at the door was impressive as the security personnel checked our IDs and had metal detector. Upon entering, we saw the club had free for guests to celebrate their 47th anniversary. The club had two floors. Both floor had bars and separate DJs jamming. First floor was more for hangout and gossip. Second floor had the larger dance floor where most people were partying. The DJ on second floor had some really good bits, but at times some dull ones too. There was also security personnel on second floor as well. They also got an outdoor backyard like place with benches and shacks for guests to hangout. Here they also placed a bar for guests to hangout and have drinks. Overall we had a wonderful hour and a half here. We had drinks, lots of dance groves and finally some nice chit chat in the outdoor space. Now that we had the experience, we will come to Feathers more often than going all the way to the city for clubbing.

Unfortunately, the ramen itself--the reason I'm here--was deeply disappointing, especially at these prices. The biggest problem was simply a lack of flavor and depth. Good ramen should have a broth that makes you want another spoonful before you've even touched the toppings. At places like Ippudo or Santouka, the broth is the star: rich, layered, savory, and memorable. I've even had ramen at Japanese restaurants that don't specialize in ramen that had dramatically more character. Here, the bowl looked the part but tasted surprisingly flat. For $22+ ramen, that's hard to overlook. Extra toppings, sauces, a stylish dining room, and a large menu don't compensate for a broth that doesn't deliver. JINYA feels to me like ramen optimized for broad appeal and the upscale-casual dining experience rather than for people who really care about the ramen itself. Kind of like the PF Chang of ramen. There's nothing inherently wrong with that, and clearly plenty of people enjoy it. But the glowing ratings set an expectation that the food simply didn't meet for me. Nice ambience. Good service. Mediocre ramen. Poor value. If you're primarily interested in the quality of the bowl rather than the restaurant experience, I'd take Santouka in the Mitsuwa food court over JINYA without hesitation--and probably spend less doing it.
