I was excited to check out this local sports bar in Lodi after seeing all of the positive reviews. Honestly, it was a little underwhelming for me. Maybe I just ordered the "wrong things". Either way, my experience didn't live up to the hype. I visited on a late Saturday night. There's a parking lot behind the restaurant. The entrance can be tricky to find... It's located in the back on the left-hand side. The exterior and interior are both pretty dark, dull, and dingy. It's not the most inviting atmosphere at first. It has a divey, industrial, and rustic vibe to it, but hey... sometimes the best food comes from places that don't look like much. So I try not to judge. It wasn't too busy, and the service was attentive. The menu has your classic American comfort food - wings, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, etc. They switch it up with daily specials like skirt steak, chicken parm, and pasta. They have a full bar with cocktails, drafts, bottled beers, can ciders, and wines. You can even do a four-beer flight and make it a tasting experience! I ordered: *Dark & Stormy Cocktail [Goslings Dark Rum, Ginger Beer, Lime Juice] ($14) - Not the best one I've had, but it was solid. If you like ginger and rum, this is a must try. The dark rum has hints of caramel which works really well with the spicy ginger beer. The lime juice adds a citrus kick, so it's a really refreshing drink. *Margarita ($18) - As a tequila girly, I've had my fair share of margaritas. This one didn't do it for me. It was a little too sour/tart, which overpowered everything else. *Cubano Sandwich [includes roast pork, black forest ham, swiss cheese, pickles, mayo, and mustard with side of fries] ($16) - I wasn't expecting an authentic Cubano from an American sports bar, so my expectations weren't super high. This was good, but not great. The pork was flavorful, but could've been more tender. I wish there were more pickles and mayo for that extra tangy crunch. The bread was pressed a little too hard, so it was a bit tough to bite through. *Double Blackened Chicken Breast Sandwich [includes pepper jack cheese, chipotle mayo, red peppers, and red onion on brioche with side of fries] ($18) - This was huge and filling! They did not skimp out on the protein. The brioche bun was soft and buttery. The chicken was well seasoned - smoky and savory with crispy charred edges. BUT... to my disappointment, the inside was dry and not juicy at all. Another small issue was the ratio - There was so much chicken compared to the rest of the toppings, so it wasn't the most cohesive sandwich. It really needed more cheese and chipotle mayo to tie all the flavors together. The fries were the best part - thick, crispy, and golden! It's decent bar food, just not the best I've had. Nothing was bad, but nothing was great or memorable. For the price, I didn't feel it was worth it. I do appreciate that their food is served piping hot and fresh. To be fair, this is probably the perfect spot for beer lovers. I happen to not be one, lol. The burger options sound popular and promising too. I'd consider giving them another shot for Happy Hour or to try a burger, but it's not at the top of my list. Just because it's not the sports bar for me, doesn't mean it won't be the one for you. read more

This place is hidden in plain sight and would have never known, had I not been looking for it I would've missed it. Location is by very active roads and highway. Parking behind storefront. Looks like you're pulling up to an abandoned spot but please DO NOT miss it. Menu was a print out but drinks was a QR code on your tabletop. Food was real good, burger was juicy, sandwich was delicious. Can't go wrong when you can get crispy tater tots. Staff was friendly and attentive. Went for a very early dinner so of course the crowd was trickling in and wasn't crowded for me. Sports on tv and noise level was decent. I could hear myself talk. Nice looking place. read more

Went on a Sunday for football and it was perfect. Amazing food, great service, good beer specials, projector TV with the game over the loudspeaker. The burgers are always amazing. I hadn't been here for football specials, so we went that route. Started off with the Buffalo chicken tenders thighs n fries. It was so amazing we ordered a second one. The chicken tenders have the perfect amount of breading to chicken and crisp. Next we went with a plain pizza. Very good. I love a well done pie, at it was well done. I did not have to ask for that. Finished it off with some sliders. They are definitely bigger than a typical slider. They were juicy and cooked beautifully. The fries were on another level good. Every single one was gone. Service was amazing as it normally is. I was happy they had the modelo beer special. The beer can get pricey when you're there for a bit. Always love the decor inside and out. Place was empty. Ac not working. Server was surly. We had to go outside twice to find folks to get our check and food. Which we took as takeout because the restaurants atmosphere was so unpleasant. We've been to this place many times and this just felt that they don't give a shit. Haven't even tried the food yet...took an hour to make a sandwich and wings to go :( read more

Food was well seasoned especially the wings. Servers were friendly and had us seated quickly. Food came out pretty fast too. Ambiance is that of a regular sports bar with multiple screens tuned in to different games. I highly recommend this place for the food and great service. read more

While on a business trip, I wanted to find a good restaurant. Specifically, one with a bar where I could sit and enjoy a dinner since I was traveling by myself. ReBAR & kitchen popped up in YELP and I decided that "this was the place" Immediately I noticed how nice the ambience was. Upon sitting at the bar, I was greeted kindly by the bartender and ordered myself a beverage from a great selection of draft beer and cocktail choices. Upon reviewing the menu, I asked what were they known for..."Burgers" I opted for "The Hangover". The burger was cooked to perfection and certainly very filling. Service was excellent! If traveling in this area again, I'd certainly go here again. The next day, I met up with some colleagues. I recommended it to them and they went that evening. They enjoyed it too! read more

Just got done having dinner and the takeout was delicious. We ordered the skirt steak, burger, and chicken fingers with fries and everything was just delicious. Who would think the place on the side of a busy road would be such a hit. I recommend their burgers, and sit at the bar, which is very spacious. The bartender was so informative and recommended the skirt steak, which was a surprise to be so good as she recommended. Enjoy! read more

I usually love this spot but today had an atypical experience, ordered a lemon drop Martini and it was the messiest drink I have had. The glass was half filled and just sloppy. Wings were on point as usual but the shrimp was raw. Today's waitress may have been new, the experience wasn't what I am used to. The. Chocolate cake dessert was semi frozen. The food is always great, however the seating situation needs to be improved. It doesn't matter if it's a party of 2 or 4 people You should not be asked to get up from your table once you've been seated and enjoying your meal. Went on a weekday to watch the knicks game! Our server Siobhan was incredible. She was manning the bar and tables all by herself and was very timely and accommodating when we asked her to change the tvs. She was a great server and the food hit the spot. All around great experience. read more

DISAPPOINTED by the extremely disrespectful service at the bar, I want to begin by saying I've NEVER written a review for a dining experience. My partner and I frequent the local spots in Lodi when we want a quick bite or drink, and we've had drinks and food at Rebar multiple times. We've had that meatball starter at least 4 times. Typically we sit closer to the window at a table and have never had an issue with service. Tonight was a completely different story. Behind the bar during the Friday night shift, the smaller female bartender with dark hair, glasses and face piercings was beyond disrespectful to both of us as well as to other staff right in front of us. Everything we requested was responded to with anger and confrontation. Imagine asking for a menu after sitting for multiple minutes and being told: "Could you hold on? I'm doing like five things right now." Imagine ordering and having the server walk away mid sentence to do something else. She angrily asked "ARE YOU SURE? Because I don't want to put it in and then have to comp it" when I clearly told her my order. Soon after, she loudly yelled at another staff member very aggressively in front of us at the bar. Meanwhile, another server had to bring our order out because the combative bartender seemed to forget it in the kitchen and we got them cold. We were so uncomfortable that we took our food to go. When receiving our check and boxes, we requested an additional box and sauce lids and her response was: "Is there anything else so I don't have to go back and forth?" These FOUR aggressive and disrespectful exchanges occurred within the 30 minutes we were there. We don't think we will return, as it seems this bartender has been there a while and this behavior may be her usual. I would have recommended Rebar before tonight. After that incredibly sour and crude encounter, we don't feel comfortable returning or recommending anyone to dine here. ESPECIALLY not with this particular bartender. I want to repeat that no other server at Rebar has ever displayed such outright aggressive behavior when we have dined here before. We enjoyed our food at home. read more

What a nice find! We stopped by last Saturday. It's a solid, Definitely 4.5 stars. The setting has a cool dive sports bar feel with TVs everywhere. The food was fresh and had amazing flavor. Our table started with the pretzel, followed by a blackened chicken sandwich, buffalo jumbo wings, and a burger. The fries are great and so is the service. Let me start off by saying we come here once a month because we live around the corner and consider it our treat place because we love the burgers, tots and cocktails. Tonight was an absolute nightmare with bar service. Our waitress was sweet and brand new. The bartender tonight was a mess. She was eating her pizza for extended time while we waited for drinks. The new waitress was so embarrassed and apologetic. THEN, a table of roughly 8 men came in and the bartender took the table service from the new waitress. Totally bully move. She couldn't even manage the bar well now she's taking tables from the new girl. Decided to stop here on a spur of the moment visit. I've been hearing rave reviews for years & finally had the opportunity to stop in. We were immediately greeted with happy faces and seated. I wish I ordered it with lettuce, tomato, and onion but I forgot. I wish the waiter had asked if I wanted them since it was the same price without. My husband had the chicken & broccoli rabe sandwich. The waiter did ask if he wanted shaved provolone on top. He said sure. They ended up charging for this although the menu did not mention there was an additional charge for this. The portions were big and we took home almost half of our meal, which was nice. read more
