Been here twice so far with my boyfriend, a really solid spot for good food and drinks. It's a casual restaurant/bar with enough seating for groups. It's always busy on the weekends and the bar is usually full. We saw some people bring in kids in the dining area, so I would say it's family friendly. They have lots of tv's to watch a game. Parking is in the back and it isn't hard to find. We've tried their burgers and pizzas and loved everything we ordered. The wasabi ahi tuna sliders were also very good. The bangin' shrimp dish is also great. *Service is good when it's not too busy but it can be slow when it's very busy as we saw the bartenders were also waiting tables, it was a bit frustrating when we were trying to order. read more

Occupied on the former site of the Thirsty Toad, this establishment is located right off Route 80 across from the Wawa, behind a bus stop on Essex Street in Lodi, where we have passed numerous times. My partner and I were first-timers here tonight for dinner. Upon arrival, the outside of a simple one-story building, ReBAR & Kitchen, doesn't exactly scream "great food" through its dark windows, whose entrance is in the back by the parking lot. Upon entering, the interior is cool, rustic, dark, and industrial, with a separate bar offering a wide variety of beers (14) from their main dining room. There's an outside patio for dining, weather permitting. Greeted by one of the staff, we were promptly seated at a high table where other patrons were enjoying their meal. The menu seems to have the usual bar food: starters, sandwiches, wings, and burgers, but it also has specials. We decided on the Big Al Burger (imported Swiss cheese, sautéed onions, and mushrooms) served on a brioche bun accompanied by fries and the Rebar Cuban (slow-cooked roast pork with black forest ham, salami, Swiss, pickles, mayo, and mustard) with fries. The food took a little while as it was busy. Surprisingly, they were tasty, well-seasoned, and delicious. The burger was perfectly seared, juicy, and cooked exactly the way it was ordered. The Cuban had a nice crunch without a panini press. The fries were perfectly paired, crispy outside, and cut thick. Portions are large. The place reminds me of a Grey's Anatomy scene, if you know you know. Very cozy, and has options for inside or outdoor seating. Ample parking. Service: For lack of better words, it was confusing at times. When we first walked in, we were unable of how big our party was considering we just finished our final exam and were getting a headcount as people were coming. The staff seems bothered as though there were extremely busy, which they weren't, our group was pretty much the whole restaurant at this point considering there were only 8 people inside and our party was a party of 10. Regards, they did accommodate us but there were times were we felt belittling us at times with snarky attitudes. We don't ask for much, just food, liquor, and some kindness. Food: Southern BBQ sandwich, I TOTALLY RECOMMEND 10/10. So juicy, every bite was just divine. I was in love, and it helped with all the shots. Liquor: They did have a great selection, and were able to make drinks off the menu. Green tea shots were amazing. The place and food were amazing. Amazing service. The food is i til 10pm. It takes a while to make which doesn't bother me at all because it just means they're actually making the food. The nachos were very fresh! I've heard nothing but good things about the food at ReBar, so my girlfriend and I went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Covid-19 mask rules are in effect, standard wear masks when not at your table, wear mask at all other times. It's really industrial in decor. There's actually rebar in visible on some of the walls. Their happy hour special is great. It's something like $2 off drinks and there's a list of select appetizers that are on sale. I've gotten the wings, the sliders, the Hangover burger, and the loaded tots. The food is all pretty good and it's cheap. Especially worth it for happy hour. read more

I've tried this place a few times since I don't live too far, and the food is solid--especially the lamb chops. Prices are reasonable, and the menu has a lot of potential. I always sit at the bar, and while the service was efficient, it felt a bit transactional rather than welcoming. a staple in our takeout rotation, this place has really great food. i've only eaten inside twice, pre-pandemic, so don't have too much to say in terms of the dining in experience other than the service was always prompt and the beer list expansive. definitely a dive bar, but don't let that deter you. but the food! we crave it very often. their burgers are huge and well-cooked, always juicy! the brioche bun really stands up to the big beef patty. you can also sub out the beef patty for a grilled chicken breast on any of the burgers also. i float between the big al (mushrooms and swiss) and the classics deluxe. the husband absolutely loves the lone star with chicken. the burgers come with a choice of tots or fries, i always go tots but their fries are good too. and the pickle stump!!! get the pickle stump, it's a great pickle. their sandwiches are all delicious as well. cuban is huge, the blackened chicken is very flavorful, and their grilled cheese selection is as wide as their burger selection. as for sides and appetizers, their wings are always good, but standard. the irish nachos are delicious, i LOVE the homemade chips. and the mac and cheese is nice and rich, really good! definitely give this place a try read more

This is in response to the previous review about being turned away for being under the influence of Marijuana and being denied service. I am the person who they reference sitting next to them. That account is way off mark. The bartender could not have been more polite in explaining the policy due to being a family environment. She at no point was rude and even suggested you go spray something on so as not to smell like weed. Which btw you wreak.. Ordered the Hangover burger here, which was huge and delicious. Came stacked with a massive patty, egg, lettuce, tomato. The sauce that they had on the side was great too. Only complaint is that the patty couldve been a little tastier, but in general the burger was very satisfying and filling. Also came with a side of tots, which were cooked really well. We sat in the outdoor patio which was fine, although does have quite a lot of road noise (including noise from sports/ modified cars, which I personally enjoy but I can see turning some people off). Went there with the family for lunch on a wet and gloomy sunday afternoon. All the food we ordered was pretty good, the standouts were the irish nachos with chili which was delicious and their burgers which i was told was very good by my picky daughter. In addition, their draft beer menu was pretty extensive. What I really wanted to talk about was the bartender that served us. Apparently a server called out last minute and it was up to the bartender to wait tables and serve drinks. She was running around the establishment like crazy and didn't miss a beat. Props to her! Ambiance wise I felt the speakers were a bit boomy and loud, especially for the football game that was playing. Probably my most favorite burger ANYWHERE!: The Big Al ( see picture) has Imported Swiss cheese, sautéed onions and mushrooms. Or try the Bourbon St with Blackened with Cajun spices, topped with pepper jack cheese & homemade chili You can add slab bacon to any burger, with a choice of fries or tater tots (yes tater tots!) Other standouts: Irish Nachos-- Thin sliced fried potatoes, layered with beef or pulled pork and cheddar jack cheese. Topped with chopped romaine, tomatoes and jalapeños with a side of sour cream. Roast Pork & Broccoli Rabe-- Sliced Roast Pork topped in its own gravy, broccoli rabe sautéed in garlic, EVO & shaved imported Italian provolone served on a long baguette. We come here pretty often, at least once or twice a week for lunch for the last 2 months. The food is always delicious! Their burgers are always well cooked and the wings are awesome! There chicken, bacon ranch pizza is also really good! They also offer a great beer selection. The ONLY downside is the waitress who has been there the last two Wednesdays afternoons 3/17 & 3/10, she completely lacks customer service skills. She is distant, aloof, rude, unfriendly, and honestly just completely ruins the whole experience for us. Her attitude is horrendous. For someone who works on tips, you would expect to at least provide an enjoyable experience to your customers, even if it's just with a smile and friendly tone. Otherwise, this would be a five-star review, if it weren't for the terrible waitress. If you want a good experience avoid Wednesday afternoons. Try Friday afternoons the two waitresses who are there on Friday during lunchtime are always super kind, friendly, and easy-going. Back in 2015 I called ReBAR "far more bar than restaurant" but perhaps that's a slightly outdated assessment in 2021. There's more seating now, with two open outdoor spaces. Maybe gastropub is a more accurate description? ‍ Whatever you want to call ReBAR; the food is on point. Take out customers, beware. Used to love this place, eat in and take out. Supported them during the pandemic. Ordered dinner tonight (2 burgers and a "full" order of wings) for $53. Got home and found 6 chicken wings in the container. Called restaurant thinking this was a mistake, NOPE. Turns out they charge $2.50 per wing. Don't even bother visiting their website because they don't know how to update it. Spoke to the owner who was RUDE and questioned me on where I got prices from, then told me prices have been changed two times since that was published. Really?! Such a shame because the food is good here but taking advantage of customers with bait and switch is wrong. Definitely won't be returning again, the wings aren't that good, anyway. Much better bar and wing establishments in the area. You just lost customers ReBar and yes, I will tell all my friends. EDIT: Manager not rude? The belligerent comments keep coming, edit after edit. She did not have the ability or patience to assist a paying customer with items that were forgotten from their take out order. Hung up on me and my husband 2x and used foul language when my husband arrived at the restaurant to collect his money for the forgotten items. This is the 2nd time our order was incomplete and we had to deal with this vile woman. Wonder if she would treat her Caucasian paying clients with the same disrespect. What a gem of a restaurant... it's tucked away and unassuming by any standard... but what seems like something you would drive by on any given day actually has one of the better bars and kitchens in the area! The food they serve is thoughtful and well made. The burgers are the heart and soul of this place. When you ask for a medium temp... that's exactly what you get! The owner, bartender, waitresses are all friendly and extremely welcoming. It's a place you'd come to twice a week because the company is great and food is even better. There are definitely large screen TVs for you to watch your favorite games and it's always packed. I'd call in before to check to make sure there are tables... or do what I do and go a little early (5pm) or a little late (8pm)... Your skirt steak sandwich was $24.99 and it was chewy, fatty and undercooked. We were told by your bartender we would have to pay for it even if we got something else.
