I think this place is working out it's kinks. The food and drinks are pretty good. Depending when you go it can be quite or it can be loud. Sometimes there's a dress code. Sometimes there's not. My wife and I have gone here a few times and each time it seems to be different. The last time we were there it was later in the night and we were hoping to order food. The place was packed and we were told that we needed to wait for a table to get served. Once we were finally seated, we were told the kitchen is closed. The service is very nice. Went there randomly on a Friday night and they didn't really have tables available but the hostess and guard tried to accommodate us right away. First the clean up a tall table and then as soon as a booth opened, they moved us. We mostly came for drinks and but ended up getting wings and fries as well. I got the a spring cocktail and it was absolutely delicious. It was soo fruity but i forgot the name. The place was decorated for cinco de mayo, and the DJ was playing great music. Went here with some friends last weekend and had a really good time. Drinks are strong and tasty, food was actually way better then I expected for a bar. Staff was super nice and service was fast even tho it was pretty packed. The music and vibe were fun, def feels like a good spot for date night or just hanging with friends. Went for dinner with my family on a Thursday night around 6:30pm. I realized as we entered the restaurant that I was here a couple of years ago when it was Aura. I'm very happy that it's under new management. It mostly looks the same but with a ton of TV's so no matter where you are sitting you can see the game. And they switched out most of the tables for high tops which I really like. The food menu is pretty standard for a sports bar with a couple of goodies thrown in, and they have happy hour specials. Our food came out pretty quick and everything was delicious. We had absolutely no complaints. There is street parking available on Main Street. We had a GREAT time! The name piqued our curiosity. We've been hoping for a good Whiskey bar to come to No.NJ. We were greeted cheerfully - asking if we wanted to sit at the bar or a table - Bar, of course . We were then quickly greeted by Jessica, the Bartender who was friendly and attentive. We asked her for a brand not at the bar & she happily went over to the GM, James, to ask if maybe the bottle was not yet on display (they opened May 23rd)... they didn't and made a recommendation of one in stock. James came over and shared great knowledge us and suggested brands & flavors we had not ever tried. We did not try the food (had big lunch beforehand) but will return for their great Happy Hours! Worst service I ever received and I'm not just an annoying yelper. Walked in for the first time today and instantly got annoyed. Waited 15 mins before an order was taken. Watched the bartender make 4-5 mistakes (no exaggeration). So many peoples orders got mixed up and I promise you there were less than ten people, including tables, altogether. Placed a simple order - wings and fries. Finally got my bourbon drink after 20 mins waiting. Wings came out. Ate them. Fries still didn't come out. I bet the bartender never put it in. She lied and said it was accidentally canceled out. She tried giving me a bunch of free shots to make up for the poor experience. First offered shot was with tequila - why would you give me a tequila drink when I'm drinking a bourbon cocktail? Bitch was confused. Then offered me a green tea shot. I live around the corner and have been to this place a couple of times since they opened. It's usually quiet during the day, and while service was never perfect, it had been pleasant enough. I appreciated that they stocked top-shelf. I was really hoping this spot would grow into a reliable neighborhood bar. Tonight, I stopped in for a late drink -- something I could've easily had at home. One of the bartenders greeted me, and I asked for a minute to settle in. Fifteen minutes passed with no follow-up. I asked the second bartender, who was deep into cleaning the bar, and she said someone would take care of me. Another five minutes went by -- one was cleaning, the other was vaping. Still no service. Just as I was about to leave, someone finally came over -- possibly a barback, and visibly unsure -- and took my order. I asked for the check right away. When the drink arrived, there was a credit card fee added -- even though I was clearly paying in cash. Normally I wouldn't make a big deal out of something like that, but after being ignored for over 20 minutes, it was just another layer of frustration. He pushed back when I questioned it and only removed the charge after I asked him to speak to a manager. It honestly boggles my mind that cleaning took priority over service -- especially when no one thought to just ask someone else to help. It was 11:30. I get it -- everyone wants to go home -- but there were still two hours left in the night. Guests pick up on that energy. I've worked in hospitality for nearly 20 years -- from family-owned spots to Michelin-starred restaurants, and I've run award-winning rooftops. I know off nights happen. Very poor service, bartenders are too slow and lazy, I asked for 2 drinks and they didn't make it, I asked for drinks to a girl and she sent me to the other side of the bar supposely she was doing tickets but she didn't even have that much to do she just didn't want to do anythingit.I was at the bar for like 20 mins trying to get a drink and nobody served me. We went there on a Wednesday night when asked for the check the bartender gave us the run around that she had added other peoples drinks to our tab and had to call manager to fix the problem that took 20 minutes! Then after the manager supposedly fixed it she gave us a tab and then added an extra drink for a friend that order a drink after we asked for the tab WTF! The bartender is a thief!!! This is so unacceptable and when I called her out on it she denied it!! Than said do I wanna complain to the manager!! please check your tabs before closing out cause you will most likely have added drinks to your tab that you didn't ask to be put on your tab and shouldn't pay for!!! My husband and I tried this place on a nice Saturday afternoon. Ambience was nice definitely a nice sports bar type of place. However we ordered drinks and my guava drink was sooo sweet I couldn't even finish. My husband got the mojito which was pure liquor.
