Despite advertising themselves on their website as "THE place to watch sports", they weren't showing a major football game on TV because it was on a streaming platform they didn't subscribe to. Sure, there's a varied media landscape in sports right now, but then maybe consider how you brand yourself ("among the best sports bars in Bergen County"). One round of vodka sodas arrived with an impressive commitment to soda and little else. We let the server know, and he eventually brought replacements--but left the originals behind. While waiting, eventually one of us was thirsty and drank the original, mostly out of thirst since it was mainly seltzer anyway. When the bill came, both of the drinks we complained about were still on it. Asking about the charge seemed to cause some offense. A manager appeared, planted himself at our table, and delivered a brief lecture about how much of a drink is allowed to be consumed before questioning it. It was less "customer service" and more "disciplinary hearing," complete with looming posture, hands on the table, and an authoritative tone that suggested we were the problem for noticing. I honestly can't recall another experience quite like this. If you enjoy watered-down cocktails, missed games, and being talked down to for making reasonable requests, this might be your spot. Otherwise, save yourself the time and money. read more

The hostess was more worried about getting her tip than making sure our order was correct. Ordered takeout. Faatzburger and cheeseburger with bacon, both medium. Came here with a friend a little after 10pm; stayed til like 12:30am. There was some good live performance going on, lively patrons of all ages (above 18 of course at this time), and great staff going around checking in with everyone to ensure all was well. As always the food there is awesome. My boyfriend got the share platter of wings in buffalo and honey garlic and I got the grilled chicken sandwich with onion rings. The grilled chicken sandwich was delicious! I find that a lot of places have very bland grilled chicken sandwiches but the OLs was SO flavorful! I was going to save half for lunch for the next day but couldn't stop eating it, it was so refreshing and fresh. But what really shined was the staff. They absolutely KICKED ASS. Never have I seen a restaurant staff work so hard to make sure all of the customers were getting what they needed. We went on a Thursday which is trivia night and the outside area was completely full, including the inside. I just don't have enough good words to say for the crew who absolutely HUSTLED. If you're going to be going soon, expect a wait on food, especially during peak events like this. Our food took maybe 25ish minutes to come out, but it was worth every second and it was very obvious that they were slammed. Everytime I come here, I have a good time. I work close by, and will often stop by here for drinks. The wait staff is always very attentive and the food is really good. I suggest their pizza. Last night I visited for the second time and had a great experience overall. This is a great local bar to meet up with just about anyone. I met with a friend for a few drinks and were served by the bartender Patrick who was nothing short of friendly and professional ( he was voted one of the area's best bartenders and it's easy to see why ). The vibe here is very casual and more what you make it. They have a large wrap around bar, plenty of TVs for sports, darts and a stage for live music. According to my friend there was also Trivia so an all in one is how I would describe this spot. The beer and shots we had were great, my only qualm would be that the music wasn't really much of anything which didn't help the solitary vibe at the bar but it might be due to the intermittent time between Trivia and the rest of the evening as I was here around 10:30pm-11:30pm. The service tonight was awful. Almost a 2.5 hour wait for burgers, sliders, and a quesadilla? Asked several times for basic supplies like cups, utensils, and condiments. The waitress was in the kitchen instead of being out on the floor and helping the customers. At one point we had to wait at the kitchen door to stop and get help. Covid protocols were also not being adhered to as well. Tables were not sanitized between usage, paper towel rolls was brought from two tables behind us to our table and not sanitized in between. Customers were walking around the outside area with no masks on. Saw several times the staff would stop at tables and remove their masks to talk to customers. Wooo! Where has this place been? This is everything you want in a bar. First plenty of TV's and all are in a perfect position for you to catch the sports action you are looking for. Entertainment, not just the people watching of other patrons mind you, but on the night we went they had a live cover band. I overheard that they also do kareokee nights as well. Food: we ordered the "Brew Stew" made with Long Trail beer. Ummmm not really sure what was going on there, we still can't identify the flavors and what was up with the meat in there but still the bowl we ordered was pretty close to empty when we called it quits. If i could give 0 stars then i would. Been coming here for over 7 years. Today was the worst. Management blames it all on being St Patrick's Day. Total of 11 people In the party. No silverware given. Had to ask 6 times for water. Ordered burgers, wraps & wings.. waitress never put in the burger orders. Wraps came out 20 mins after the rest of the food. Ordered beer towers & had to have the security guard get them because the waitress was busy writing things on her pad. Bald headed manager came over & when we told him our experience his response was " its st patricks day & i could give you a ton of excuses for this." Manager threatened to call the cops so we left. Will never go back there again & this isnt the 1st time something like this happened. Do not go back there. Lets get this placed closed down for good. It's a little divey, but it's a pretty decent bar. We went this Tuesday for Trivia Night and had a good time. I've also been there for karaoke, and that was fun too. It seems to attract a lot of people on random weeknights so they must be doing something right. As far as food is concerned, you really need to know what to order. We got the nachos, a small bar pie, roast beef sliders and cheeseburger sliders. The nachos were not great, and they were very soggy. I didn't really like the pizza either. The thin crust tasted kind of like cardboard. I did, however, LOVE both of the sliders. The roast beef sliders were probably the best I have ever had.
