I attending a vendor event here the other day as a vendor and the place itself it's so cool! I've been here when it was the five and dime and what a transformation. I'm not a drinker so unfortunately I can't speak to the beer...BUT it's a cool place with good vibes. It's Bring your own food (which is weird to me lol) but everyone seemed to be having a great time.

Surprised my hubby for his bday with a small crew of 11. We ordered pizza from next door, sat upstairs on large couches and secured a nice table. We had a great time. Kid friendly during the day. Adults only from 8pm on. The band, The Exits, played live and they were fantastic!! We ordered a few flights to start off with. All of the beers were great! the upstairs was excellent for our group and the downstairs was convenient by the bar. i hear they have a rooftop during the summer months which I am drying to come back for. Great local place with street parking.

One of my friends recommended this brewery for a date night out & we absolutely loved it! They have a great selection of beers, fun games, and you can bring your own food! We ordered a pizza from town. Highly recommend this spot!

Shopping long the avenue and we stopped in for a beer. I had the Fruited Sour and it was yummy! I wasn't led astray when I asked if it was sour but not very, and the bartender told me it's not very sour. She said I like sweeter too. Indeed it was delicious! There are large tables, small tables, stools at the bar, and a fireplace area to sit. Great place for a party. People stopped in and brought food to sit and eat and drink. I wish I lived closer or I'd be here often.

This place has been on our list for a looooong time. My husband and I stopped in on a rainy Sunday afternoon. It was packed and loud. Despite it being busy we were able to order and received our drinks quickly. We found an empty table near the fireplace and it was a bit quieter there. We tried 4 different beers and all of them were great Marzen Pumpkin Fest Bier Valley Hefe I wanted to take Valley Hefe home but they didn't have any in cans. We will definitely be back ! Super happy that we finally tried this place.

Very nice local brewery. Lots of tables to sit and gather. Nice bar area. Good selection of beers for a local place.

PROS: This place was absolutely amazing. Staff was good, atmosphere looked rustic, drink menu was good, prices were great, two floors of tables, couches, and they allow you to bring in your own food cause they don't serve any CONS: Only street parking and they don't sell food so you'll have to get your own OVERALL: If I were you I would come here. It's historic, runs events like karaoke and trivia, and staff is welcoming

I stopped by Five Dimes Brewery on Saturday night and I had a fantastic time. From the moment I got out of my car I was greeted by a few guys dressed in costumes and they were so welcoming it made me feel I was at home. The crowd was was jubilant and truly enjoying themselves. Wow what a bar! It was the last thing I was expecting since the place is located in such a quiet neighborhood. The beer was good and the music was exciting with the crowd singing along and dancing to the tunes. The place has a roof top where people were hanging out and overlooking the street where numerous people were hanging out and listening to the band. Inside the servers were attentive and serving up their craft beer quickly and efficiently. This place is an awesome spot where you can make some friends and enjoy yourself. I will definitely be back to this place.

From my understanding, it is a Christmas "pop-up" called Miracle. Since we just showed up without reservations, we sat at the bar, which was totally fine with us. The bartenders were very nice and offered up some recommendations. It turned out, my friend had gone to a Miracle pop-up at another bar weeks before, but hadn't realized it. The space is cozy and was very nicely decorated. I ordered an espresso martini off of their regular menu and my friend ordered the Candy Cane Lane. We didn't order food since we had dinner plans after. Our bill was $37.00, plus the $6 we left for a tip. For two cocktails that were good, but not fantastic, that is a little steep in my opinion. If we each had a second cocktail, it would have been close to $100. It's a bar in Newtown, not the casino. Would I go back? I would, just not during the holidays, and maybe a special occasion.

You practically need to hunt them down to get service. I've been there with literally only 1 other couple in the whole place and it took forever for anyone to take our order. I personally don't like to have to ask because I find it rude but sometimes when I'm here i have to. And it's not because the workers are busy. I've watched them scream sing in the back and just fully ignore that we were waiting to order a drink. Christmas there is great because of the vibe. But you also will be there forever. One of the bartenders cares more about getting attention that I dread her taking my order. There's being friendly and then there's just being annoying. When the place is close to empty there's no reason to be screaming and cursing and talking about your own business loudly for everyone to hear and get involved in. But the drinks are great. They're so creative and different it's worth the visit. I like that they are starting to add even more snacks to their menu. It will entice me to stay longer.

The restaurant is very pretty overall, though the interior is quite dim, making it difficult to read the menu without additional light. The tables were also placed fairly close together. Our server was polite and welcoming throughout the evening. We started with the Korean fried chicken and tuna tataki. The chicken was moist and coated in a sweet and spicy sauce. The tuna tataki was flavorful; however, the taro chips were very thin and tended to break easily when holding the tuna. For our main courses, we ordered the Icelandic cod, rigatoni, Freebird chicken, and a side of whipped potatoes. Dessert was the hazelnut chocolate crunch, which was a nice way to end the meal. Overall, the food was enjoyable. That said, the pricing felt more in line with a fine dining experience, while the atmosphere and service were closer to an upscale casual restaurant. Some small details, such as the whipped potatoes being served without a serving spoon, stood out. While minor, these details can make a difference, especially at this price point.

It's a nice space to hang out, especially on a warm evening. A few things threw me off, though. The bar staff kept running back and forth between the bar and another building, I'm guessing to grab bottles or restock. It was distracting, and I honestly wish they had just walked quickly instead of sprinting through the space. The bathrooms were also really tight and pretty filthy, which didn't help the overall feel. The food itself was fine, but everything tasted extremely salty. I'd be willing to give it another shot since the place is so hyped up, but I wouldn't go out of my way to return.

We ordered a few things. Spicy Tuna Tartare: wasn't spicy, didn't taste fresh which wasn't a deterrent to me as this isn't a seafood restaurant or fine dining. Next time I'd pass on that. Bavarian Pretzel: amazing. Very tasty. Came out nice and hot. That rarebit cheese sauce? Oh honey that can come home with me anytime. Absolutely delicious. And this is coming from someone who hates that fake cheese, cheese whiz type taste. Margherita Pizza: didn't come out hot which is probably why I wasn't a fan of it. It was pretty mediocre for such a basic pizza. And the food didn't come out all together, so not sure why that didn't come out hot. Wings and waffles: Tasty buffalo wings. The waffles actually taste like funnel cake which was a nice surprise. THEN. The burger came out and that is why this review dropped. It had a small hair on the side of the plate and a closer look at the rest of the plate, you'll see a long hair on the pickle. That was disappointing but happy to have tried the place nonetheless.

Very limited Flavors to begin with and except for one, all other flavors were not so great. On top of that, they charge $10 extra to replace the Coals. $10 for COALS..?!?!? I have been to so many Hookah Lounges and this was the 1st we were ever charged for getting the coals changed. That is just atrocious. We truly wouldn't have changed a thing. Our guests raved about the food and drinks just as much as we did! Since the ceremony and reception were held in the same room, the space had to be flipped during cocktail hour. We were a little worried our guests would notice or that it might be disruptive, but not a single person mentioned it. The transition was completely seamless, which is a huge testament to Vikki and her amazing staff. We worked with Vikki throughout the planning process, and she was incredible. She was responsive, organized, and present every step of the way. She coordinated with all of our vendors, kept everything running smoothly, and was there in person on the wedding day, which made such a difference. I had mentioned a few small personal touches I wanted set up, and without hesitation, she took care of every one of them herself.
