If you're looking for a wedding venue, look NO FURTHER! We had both our ceremony and reception here. My (now) husband and I had our dream wedding here and it couldn't have been more perfect. We would do it over the same exact way every single time. For a couple who loves NYC and wanted to bring the vibe to NJ (where my husband grew up), the ambiance of PWL was everything we wanted. The exposed brick is beautiful and the space is so beautiful. I had the best customer service experience of my life working with the venue coordinator, Chris Ryter. We could not have had the day we did without him. Chris took care of EVERYTHING for us from the actual day we met - things I would never have thought of. He made the entire process so seamless. Leading up to the wedding, I gave him a 5 page "master doc" with what we had envisioned in terms of decor/set up and the execution was flawless. The entire staff was checking on us the entire night if we needed anything - from a tide to go stick to a glass of champagne. The food was delicious and everyone had a blast at the bar. This venue was so nice. Went for a baby shower and it was the perfect setting for an intimate gathering. The food was pretty good too serving pasta, salmon, chicken, and more. They had a build your own yogurt parfait too with honey which was tasty. The appetizers were charcuterie goodies as well as fruit and hummus. They also had coffee and donuts at the end. They had a cash bar. Seating was both tables and cocktail tables which made for a great way to move around. Plenty of street parking up and down the street. read more

We just had our son and daughter (in law)'s wedding at the Park West Loft. Everything from the ceremony, first dances, cake cutting, food drinks, and video we wanted to share was perfect (right down to the "Good Luck Spot" we asked them to draw outside)! Chris is AMAZING and took care of every detail as if he was also a wedding coordinator. The staff was so attentive. Top shelf drinks and the food was delicious. The wedding was on the smaller size by NY/NJ standards (68 people), but we were able to have the "dream wedding" our kids wanted at a price we could afford. I can't say enough about how wonderful and stress free this day was for our kids and for us, our family and our friends!! So many of our friends commented on how perfect the event was. I just had my wedding reception here on Sunday and I cannot express how appreciative I am to the staff here and especially Chris Ryter. From day one, we were welcomed and Chris was very willing to work with us on any request we had. Not a lot of venues do this so this made the Park West Loft stand out to us and ultimately led to us selecting them. Chris was a very calming presence during the height of typical stressful planning and he really came through the day of. All the staff here from the bartenders, wait staff, and staff at the downstairs tavern were kind, even in moments where I think others would have lost their patience. The guests loved the food and the zeppolis seemed to be a hit. The ambiance of the place itself was exactly what I was looking for. The open bar selection was amazing and better than most I've seen especially for the price. Guests were definitely happy with the selection included. We had a wedding rehearsal here and it was fantastic. 70 plus people. Stephanie Wong was a pleasure to work with. She helped create a fabulous menu--fantastic passed appetizers including dates wrapped in bacon, mini Brie grilled cheeses, spare rib egg rolls and more. People raved about the main entrees: Maine scallops, Amish roasted chicken, Guiness braised spare ribs. We had nice Caesar salad, beet salad and egg plant stacks for first course. Healthy and pretty. We went for open bar. We made photo shows and music playlists, using their computer systems. Fun! Stephanie secured long tables and we had lovely white linens with navy table runners. I did DIY flowers, all white, with vases from IKEA. We used Stephanie's votives and my pillar candles. The look, the food, the excellent servers...perfection. We had our daughter's Baby Shower here 2 weeks ago. 5 stars doesn't even cover it! Working with Vikki and Chris was a dream and the shower was off the charts. First of all, the venue is just beautiful. Our guest were so impressed. Secondly, the food was delicious. We were able to incorporate a beautiful and tasty variety of dishes, while also accommodating some food allergies and restrictions. The waitstaff and bartender were wonderful and Vikki, the Catering Manager, was on site making sure everything ran smoothly and in a timely fashion. Highly, highly recommend Park West Loft. From the day we met with Stephanie and set our wedding date to the wedding itself, the Park West Loft outshined what we had already experiemced downstairs at Park West Tavern. The Loft is not just any space, it surpassed our expectations. Stephanie and the staff created the atmosphere that we sought when planning our wedding. 1. Quality of Food - our guests could not stop talking about the food and how delectable it was that night. The staff presented the food magnificently and the taste exceeded how well it was presented. 2. Communication - Stephanie is where it starts and she delivered on her presentation and promises. The night was stress free/worry free. Stephanie knows what she's doing and was on top of everything 3. Ambience - Angela and I had our ceremony there as well and the room set the "feel" that we were seeking from the minute we started to plan our special day. I still have images stuck in my head from the light fixtures to the brick/windowed wall to the gorgeous espresso wood beams which all came together as my beautiful bride walked down that aisle. We ran our 30th year reunion from high school this weekend and managed the program with Stephanie Wong and her staff. About 90 people at the affair and we went with the non-sit down appetizers and a 4 hour open bar option. I can't say enough good things about the event. The space was well designed - with plenty of room around the bar but also offering some corners for people to catch up more intimately. The waitstaff was ever present with the appetizers, but never pushy -- and the food was quite good (spare rib egg rolls, bacon wrapped dates, tacos, and others). The selection from the bar was amazing -- multiple attendees said how wonderfully the old fashioned, martini and mojito drinks were made (for some reason these were popular) as well as the great selection of draft and bottled beers. The electronic capabilities for the slide show and 80's music selection added to the already festive mood -- a lot of other places we evaluated did not have. Stephanie & her staff could not have been more helpful -- as the organizer, I appreciate all of the personal touches that we were able to easily include with her teams help. The wait staff was constantly offering bacon wrapped dates, tuna tartar, crab cakes, chicken kebabs, etc. needless to say it was enough to fill me up. The space is lively for an event and the staff couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. I wasn't drinking since I was working, but my husband said the bartender made a great martini. I had my wedding at Park West Loft on July 2, 2017 and it was spectacular! We wanted a more casual place, but not a restaurant, and when I found this place I knew it was perfect. The space is new (built 3 yrs ago) and the decor is modern rustic with brick walls and wood beams. We had our ceremony in the same space and it worked out perfectly. None of that in between time between ceremony and reception. We even had the bar open during the ceremony! There is a park a block away where we took beautiful pictures. Stephanie Wong worked with me prior to the wedding and made planning so easy. She was very informative about the space and knew exactly how to organize a wedding there. Stephanie couldn't be there for the day of the wedding which made me a little nervous, but Robert took such good care of us. He even allowed us to extend the reception for an extra hour. Our guests also spoke of how attentive and kind the staff were. We had a cocktail hour that people raved about and we chose a buffet style dinner. The food was 5 stars and everyone is still talking about it! The day went perfectly and I wouldn't change a thing. We would do it 100x over! read more

I WANT to give it five stars, but I gotta be completely transparent. I had a company party here last night for about 55 people, including a DJ and Photobooth. Service- 5 stars! Stephanie and her team are a dream to work with, very professional, easy to communicate with. Accommodating, helpful, etc! Food-5 stars! Great selection of food, all very well prepared! The price for what you got was extremely reasonable! No one was hungry! Ambiance- 5 stars! Beautiful new space, well decorated, amazing set up, clean bathrooms! Bar-1 star. Weak drinks, bartender was nice but clearly had very little knowledge of mixed drinks. And there was a discrepancy about whether or not the (very limited amount of) shot glasses were being cleaned between uses. I also ran a per-consumption tab as opposed to using a bar package, and never once did I see the bartender ring up drinks. I'm hoping when she eventually made her guesstimate that she rounded down and not up, but we will never know. As a whole, I recommend the venue. It's a great price for a beautiful room with plenty of space and delicious food! Friendly staff makes set up and clean up very easy! Just beware that the bar is iffy at best. read more

I just had an event with about 85 guests at Park West Loft & loved it! Stephanie Wong went above and beyond! From the moment I reached out to her, she was always quick to respond to any of my questions & did everything she could to accommodate exactly what I was looking for or needed. Stephanie is super organized and definitely pays attention to details. The space in itself is incredibly cozy but elegant and modern at the same time. Even though I had about 85-90 guests it didn't feel cramped at all - the space was just the right amount. It's nice that there's a separate entrance, bathroom, and bar right in he loft as well. There was more than enough food and it was so delicious. My guests were complimenting the service of all the servers and the quality of the food. Honestly, the day of the event I didn't even have to worry or think about anything other than enjoying my guests because Stephanie made sure that everything ran smoothly. We had our rehearsal dinner at Park West Loft recently. All I have to say is that I am so happy we decided on Park West Loft. First, working with Stephanie was amazing. She was quick to answer any questions we had and went above and beyond to make sure our rehearsal dinner was perfect. We did the buffet-style set up and the food was great with a lot of choices to choose from. We got many compliments on the food and the overall setup of the venue. Venue was nice, as were the 2 bartenders. That's about it. I was there for my sister's wedding. Out of the 3 wines my father selected in advance only 1 was there. They made an effort to get the second one, but completely dropped the ball on the 3rd one. In addition, they ran out of filet mignon (surprisingly since the guests were only getting 3 bite size pieces), when my father said he made it very clear that there should be unlimited food until 9, and it was only 8. When we tried to find Stephanie, it took 15 minutes to find her and her excuse was that she's only one person and was taking care of the upstairs and downstairs. Not for nothing, but there should be 1 person that stays and takes care of a WEDDING, shouldn't that take a priority? Finally they got more filet mignon, but it took 25 minutes to cook, and the groom still hadn't even eaten at that point. Then, although it was never told to the guests, shots were only allowed until 8, so when I ordered a shot at 8:05, Stephanie could not have been any ruder, needless to say, I never got my shot. In addition, there were gluten free cupcakes specially ordered for me, and they were unable to be found. Apparently the waiters handed out to-go containers and told the guests to take whatever cupcakes they wanted. When I asked Stephanie, she said she had nothing to do with that. If you are the person overseeing a wedding, should you have something to do with everything your employees do..?? At the end of the night we were saying our goodbyes, and I understand the waiters want to start cleaning up, but they literally were picking up our jackets off the chair we were at and handing them to us, pulling the table cloth off. As a previous employee at a catering company, we would NEVER do that, there are other things they could have been cleaning up. Overall, I would never recommend this venue to anyone, whether a wedding or any party, I was very disgusted and given my specific examples above, rightfully so. read more

My husband and I got married at the town hall and had a nice dinner with family afterwards, but wanted to have a separate celebration with our friends as well. We chose The Park West Loft for our post-marriage party and were so happy with EVERY aspect of it! When I initially described to Stephanie that we wanted to have a cocktail-style party with our friends, she understood my vision immediately (it was a hard concept for other venues to grasp, honestly). Stephanie was in contact with us all throughout the process and always very available. The food was delicious and they had such a wide variety of food options to choose from (passed hors d'oeuvres and stations). We got a mixture of passed hors d'oeuvres and had a fancy slider station. The Park West Tavern Restaurant (downstairs from the venue) is one of our go-to restaurants now and our friends still talk about the food! We got the open bar package and were pleasantly surprised because they had an amazing selection of beer on tap and a variety of hard liquor. The venue itself is really cool. It has a casual feel to it, with the bar/lounge space, exposed brick and fireplace, but it can easily be transformed into such an elegant space. The night before the party I dropped off some decorations and they set everything up beautifully! We paid for the Valet option and it was super convenient and worth every penny for our guests. Stephanie and all of the staff that night were fantastic! We could not have asked for a better experience. Stephanie Wong did a great job helping to set everything up, she worked with the band to make sure that they were there on time and set up properly, the food was excellent, the service was great, the bartender and the valet parking guys did a great job. Here are some specifics: Organization: Stephanie was very organized, contacted us and responded to our questions quite often, was available on sight on the night of the event, and i would give her 10 stars if this were an option Location: Easy to get to, in the middle of Ridgewood, easy to park, valet parking guys did a great job Room: very nice, tables were arranged well, perfect place for up to 100 guests, acoustics were great, we played a DVD of my father in law, multiple TV's surround the room, everyone enjoyed it Food: lot's of variety, great and varied appetizers, main course was excellent Service/bartender/valet: Service was excellent, the cocktail hour, appetizers, and main course were efficiently handled, bartender was excellent and quick at preparing drinks. We held an event at Park West Loft last week and I have one word to say... FLAWLESS!! The food, drink and set up was exactly as requested! Stephanie is a class act and knows how to deliver. We needed valet parking since it was on a week night - no problem! We needed flowers and balloons delivered - no problem. Beers Florist is right across the street and they, too, deserve a shout out!
