Because I live in Atlanta majority of the planning took place over the phone. Lorraine was simply AMAZING! Christina worked with me due to the fact that I was planning a party all the way from Atlanta. Everything was explained to me in detail. They even assisted in an area where I couldn't make a decision. The night is the event Chris was the Mgr assigned to my party and everyone on that team were beyond helpful and amazing. From the set, drinks, food, and lighting were done to perfection. We had guest arrive super late, and Chris went out his way to see if it was possible for food to be served. Food: Italian Meatballs- Great, Shrimp and Rice: Great, Pasta: Great. I was very pleased with the food. You choose 6 entree's. Dessert: Whoever Baker their cakes Great work! I got nothing but who made this cake? I would highly recommend the Brookside for any parties. They carter to you. Now, they're not cheap, but I am firm believer you pay for what you get. The service provided took care of any additional cost for the services I needed. I was very surprised that the room was already set up for the following night. I guess they didn't have any other events planned. I had a hard time finding the place and I had to text the groom to let me in since the door is locked. The doors weren't locked the night of the wedding so all the guests were able to get inside without any issue. The layout of the room was nice. There was a balcony in the next floor to overlook the room and was used for the DJ and photo booth. I'm not sure of the different options that the hall provides. We had a lot of alcohol! There was no cocktail hour and the food was surveyed buffet style. There was basically no service staff but at least there was water on the table. The food was very good and the bartenders did a good job even though at one point I was outside and the bartender was hanging out with us for a while while the other bartender was likely extremely busy. If you're having your event in the Passaic area, it's worth checking out.

I believe there were 10 tables that seat 10 and there was still plenty of room to dance, to support a main mom table, snack table, bar area. There was a separate restroom for the ballroom. There was a breath taking chandelier in the middle of the room The DJ situated himself on the balcony. Both sides of the room have a staircase which is perfect for a wedding or sweet 16. I am not sure on the cost but I thought I heard it was reasonable. We parked in the lot across the street. I wish I took more pictures. I was really shocked that this beautiful place was hidden in the center of town.

They also never apologized. What is not understood here, one of their servers kissed one of my guests against her will, during COVID. Frungillio's as a whole, and our event coordinator Ed, were disorganized, not prompt to answer e-mails leading up to our event and dishonest. Our first red flag was after signing our contract, we received an e-mail (not even the courtesy of giving us a phone call) saying they double booked our original date, despite having already signed our contract. We were so in love with the venue, we chalked it up to a miscommunication--no big deal. Unfortunately, instances like this became regular throughout our planning process. Many promises were made and fell short on our wedding day. We worked with Ed throughout our planning process. On most occasions, it took at least a week to get a response back and most of the time, my husband had to text, call and e-mail several times to prompt a response. The morning of the wedding I received a text message from Ed saying he would not be able to attend our wedding due to an emergency. We had been working with him for over a year and while I understand circumstances arise, I believe a phone call is the LEAST he could do to break the news--most brides would freak out! Ed and Frungillio's promised to essentially be my "go-to" on the day of the wedding, but again they fell short. Decor was not organized as promised. Details that were promised in our final meeting were not executed. Staff had to be told as guests were arriving to finish setting up the cocktail hour. Ed failed to communicate with my vendors. Staff was nowhere to be found minutes before the wedding. I (the bride!!) had to put my bridal party in the processional order because no one was there to do it for me. We didn't even know where to put the overflow of garbage from the bridal suite. One of the two bathrooms broke half way through the wedding and there was no assistance for our guests other than a "out of order" sign on the door. The next day our family went to pick up our decor with the understanding that our items would be in a corner of the tent area as there was another wedding the next day. When our family arrived, our items were sprawled all over the mansion, not in the original boxes or packaging. Items were missing. Extra, unopened candy from our candy bar were stolen (over $500 worth). The groom for the wedding the following day was in a sheer panic because no one who worked for Frungillo's could be found and the mansion was a complete disaster. Following the wedding, I reached out to the owner of Frungillo's and Ed to ask for a meeting to discuss our disappointment. While the original e-mail was acknowledged, the message with our concerns did not receive a response, along with the several phone calls made and additional e-mails. We were blatantly ignored. They received our money and did not care about our dissatisfaction, nor did they try to explain themselves. On top of stealing our decor and favors, my husband and I didn't even receive the top of our wedding cake as a keepsake for our one year anniversary. By no means did Frungillo's ruin my wedding day. Our wedding day was perfect because of the people and love that surrounded the room, not because of their poor attention to detail. If I can give any future bride advice, do not book with Oakeside Mansion or Frungillo's simply because they will not give you the attention you deserve, especially with the money you are paying. It's not worth the stress on YOUR beautiful day.

I truly don't even know where to begin because every single part of this experience exceeded anything we could have ever imagined. The venue itself is unreal. It is hands down the most beautiful venue in all of New Jersey. It literally feels like an absolute fairytale being brought to life. Every corner, every detail, every view is just breathtaking. We kept looking around the entire night thinking, "we really got married here?" I still cannot believe we were able to have our wedding at a place this stunning. It is truly top tier. But what made everything even more incredible was the staff. Every single person we interacted with, our maitre d' and coordinator especially, and the entire team, were beyond professional. I mean truly beyond. Nothing was short of absolute perfection with them. Everything was organized, seamless, and handled with such care and precision. I thought one or two things could go wrong because that's just how weddings go. But No mistakes with this staff. What honestly shocked us the most was how many of our vendors pulled us aside just to rave about the staff. Not one, not two, but multiple vendors stopped us and said that in all the weddings they've worked, they have never seen a team this organized and professional. They told us they go to weddings every single weekend, and that this was on another level. Hearing that from people who are constantly in this industry really put into perspective just how incredible this team is. On top of that, my husband and I were honestly so overwhelmed throughout the day, and the staff just took over everything in the best way possible. We brought in so many personal items and decor pieces, fully expecting that at the end of the night we'd probably lose a few things here and there because things get chaotic and things get misplaced. But somehow, they packed every single item back exactly how we brought it, and loaded everything into our car without breaking a sweat. They even escorted us out and sent us on our way with a huge smile at the end of the night. And the food... I don't even have the words. We didn't add anything extra, this was just their standard offering, and our 250 guests are still talking about it. So many people told us it was the best cocktail hour they have ever seen in their lives. The amount of food, the quality, the presentation, it was beyond anything we expected. Everyone says the one thing guests always remember from a wedding is the food, and I know for a fact people are going to remember ours because it was just that good. Everything about The Legacy Castle, the beauty, the organization, the professionalism, the food, the service, was absolutely flawless. It felt like every single person there genuinely cared about making our wedding perfect, and they delivered in every possible way. The food at the cocktail hour was delicious - I want to highlight the short rib and penne alla vodka. Bar staff was great as well and servers during the reception were friendly.
