This venue is beautiful and what's even better is the food that comes with being a guest here! For starters, I attended a wedding here. The place has valet parking. When you enter you are greeted by a person with a friendly smile, she asked which wedding I was attended and she pointed and gave us the directions to which door to go to. The place is beautiful!!! The pasta, desserts and all the food that was served to me while being here was delicious. Highly recommend this venue!

Last Sunday I attended a wedding at The Royal Manor and it was one of the best venues that I've visited. The place itself is beautiful and very clean. I loved the chandelier that was hanging in the lobby. It definitely brought a certain elegance to the space. I also liked the floral arrangements that they displayed throughout the building. This provided the environment with an additional upscale feel. As a welcome from the Bride and Groom, the guests were offered four different types of cocktails (this was a nice touch) The room were the ceremony had taken place was intimate and well decorated. The food from the cocktail hour and reception was exceptional. I would recommend this venue to anyone who is planning on getting married. This venue would be a great choice.

I had the pleasure of attending one of my best friend's wedding at this place on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. After looking at the other reviews, I'm quite shocked at what others have written about. At least from my point of view this place is a great wedding venue (and I've certainly been to many weddings to know otherwise). First off we'll start with the decor. The place is elegant outside and in. The guest arrive at the front lobby greeted with a glass of champagne and a whole lot of glass on the hanging chandelier and wall lamps! The color scheme is off white with tasteful accents throughout. Then the ceremony room, cocktail hour room, and dinner room continue the elegance. If you want to take a breather there is a nice outside patio/seating area with a small waterfall to look at. Now let's get to the food. Many reviewers said the food was terrible and some people even got sick from it. I had a different experience. The cocktail hour had great choices of food (duck wrap and German sausages being one of my favorites) and the open bar kept guests very happy. And trust me they were not skimpy on the alcohol. One of my new mix is Ciroc coconut, Sprite, and orange juice and the bar tender delivered it perfectly. The dinner menu consisted of lobster ravioli, salad, and choice of steak, chicken, or fish. Then a trio of dessert with the three tiered cake to top off the night. This place certainly delivered on style, decor, and food. I'm happy for my friend and his new wife and glad that this place made their day truly special.

    New Year's Eve Party
    Monika D.

Celebrated New Year's Eve here. I feel let down. I went with people that have been to the same party the year before and they couldn't stop talking about the abundance of food all night long that would be presented. At $180 per person, I was looking forward to everything that they said would be there (as it was last year). I was also just going by The Royal Manor's own words which they had listed about the event on social media. So the few things they all collectively bragged about: lobster, oysters, two whole suckling pigs (not that I was interested, but others were and there weren't two pigs, there wasn't even one pig) plus a full dessert buffet - were all missing. There was still more food than necessary, but I can't say I wasn't expecting the lobster and oysters and dessert buffet if those were the things promised. Other gripes: - Sit down dinner was a disappointment to the meat eaters. It was supposed to be a duet of filet mignon and stuffed chicken. Well, the red meat was NOT filet mignon and the chicken was dry. As a vegetarian, I asked for fish. I was given Chilean sea bass and I have to say, it was delicious. - The band was great. But their choices of songs were questionable. Another major concern with them (which they got several boo's for) was cutting off the DJ (who did 15 minutes sets between the band playing) right in the middle of a great dance song. They didn't let the song finish out and worse, they stopped his dance song to go into a slow song which completely killed the vibe on the dance floor. Not cool. Still, I danced nearly the entire night. - Coffee was never offered. You kind of had to take some off a tray nearby if you were lucky to spot it. - Drinks were premium, strong and free all night. That's not the gripe part. Servers would come up to the table to bring you your drinks but they started to bring them two at a time. While that might be something to put on the plus side of things, the ice quickly melted and you ended up drinking probably more than you should in order not to waste the ice. Haha. This place gets rave reviews for weddings. I would expect that the New Year's Eve party would be just as good as a wedding, if not maybe a little more special. Sadly, that was not the case this year. It was disappointing to me, but especially to those that were there last year and really could compare the events against each other. It left them feeling bad about recommending it so highly to the rest of us, only to have everyone feel like the night left much to be desired.

A quick heads-up: on Google Maps it's listed as Ceviche 517, but the sign on the building says Tavern 517, which initially threw us off. We were circling around until we decided to just trust the physical address--and we're so glad we did. As soon as we walked in, the name didn't even matter anymore. The decor is stunning--definitely has an upscale, Instagram-worthy vibe with a modern lounge feel. We might've come a little early because the place was quiet when we arrived, but that worked in our favor as we got to settle in comfortably and explore the menu. Drinks were a mixed experience. We tried the margarita flight, which included coconut, passion fruit, and strawberry. The coconut and passion fruit margaritas were absolutely delicious--fresh, balanced, and memorable. The strawberry, however, was a big miss--tasted like kid's medicine and no one at the table could finish it. We also ordered a drink called something like Chicola--it had ginger ale, lime juice, and some type of liquor, and unfortunately, it was another one we couldn't get through. The flavors just didn't mix well, and everyone at the table agreed it was a no for us. On the flip side, the Perfect Mule with a strawberry twist, the Henny Mojito, and a bold and fun drink called No Sheets were much better received. Menus are displayed on sleek tablets, and we were pleasantly surprised to see that the in-house menu offered way more options than what's listed online. And the food? Absolutely excellent. The Tallarín Saltado with vegetables was beyond delicious--we placed it in the center so everyone could dig in. The ceviche flight was fresh and flavorful, and the jalea (a fried seafood platter) didn't last long on the table either. One friend had the larger ceviche bowl paired with a mojito and already asked to come back just for that combo. Even the kid's arroz chaufa with chicken impressed us, with a big enough portion for leftovers. If there's one thing that fell flat, it was the atmosphere--at least early in the evening. When we arrived, the music playing sounded like retro video game tunes, but thankfully it transitioned into upbeat Spanish hits, including some great bachata that gave the space some energy. All in all, despite a few drink misses and a quiet start, this spot is a gem. The food alone is worth the trip, and we're definitely planning to return--next time a little later in the evening to hopefully catch a livelier vibe!

The magician I wanted to hire was booked somewhere else and I only found out a few days before, but the balloon sculpture artist Mark recommended instead was an absolute hit with the kids as well as the adults, which was a pleasant surprise. He made my husband the most outrageous birthday hat. Right when he was supposed to be done, one of the kids tripped and popped his balloons and got upset, and he stayed longer to make him (and a few other stragglers) more balloons. Truly kind. I ended my party an hour before so that I could stay in the 5 hour frame but we took just one extra hour because of all the cleaning we had to do. The 5 hour rental is including the time you need to clean up and if you don't clean up to their standards they'll keep your deposit too.
