I was throwing a bridal shower for my brother's fiancé and was very stressed because i couldn't get a Saturday morning delivery for balloons. Every business i called was too busy with graduations to take my order or wanted to deliver BEFORE 10am but the venue would not allow us in until 11am. I had a huge dilemma and was making calls for hours! My 9 year old son googled and found Life o' the Party. I spoke to Mark, the President, who was very polite, PATIENT and professional. Not only could he put the balloons together and take my order but he could solve my delivery problem. He offered to deliver the balloons to the venue on Friday, the day BEFORE the event. I had some serious concern because I didn't think they would last through the night and I didn't want deflated, droopy balloons at the party. Mark assured me that every balloon would be coated with a special spray that prolongs their "life-span". I figured i had nothing to lose. The balloons were delivered the day before the party, as promised. The day of the party I was in awe!!! The balloons were still firm and upright!!! They looked as if they had just been blown up! That is some MAGICAL spray they put on those balloons! They looked AMAZING, lasted throughout the entire 4 hour party and were STILL going strong afterwards! I'm a huge fan of singing telegrams. Not that anyone has ever sent me one or that I've sent all that many, but there's something about them that always puts a smile on my face. Who in the world would be able to forget that moment when they see a singing, dancing hotdog?! A few years ago, I had gotten one for my best friend's birthday. I was NOT impressed! But I knew that it's what I wanted to do for my boyfriend's 36th birthday this year. I was a little hesitant from my past experience so I decided to do a little more research. Life O' the Party gets top marks from me because i called (from Washington, DC) at the last possible minute--on a saturday. i left a message and thought, oh well, lost cause. my phone rang at around 7, 7:30 saturday evening. it was the owner asking what he could do for me! i had been intimidated by all the extravagant balloon things--archways and "drops" and structures--this company can do, and was a bit apologetic wondering if they could do something simple and last-minute. the owner was perfectly happy to deliver 100 pink balloons sunday afternoon to Ridgewood NJ to help celebrate my grand-niece's birthday (also her mother's and step-sister's--all within a few days). the balloons got there in fine time and virtually covered the ceiling of the dining room! every little girl's dream? i don't know, but it sure looked great! thanks, Life O' the Party--you really saved this great-aunt's bacon! read more

Mark was extremely helpful to us when putting together the centerpieces for our daughter's Bat Mitzvah. He was patient, explained all about the lift of balloons (which dictated what I could and could not do), looked at different options and was available when we needed. This vendor was recommended by a person that had used them and was extremely pleased. I can only say W O W !!! They did an amazing job - with very little notice - I had an even for 175 people and they did 14 table arrangements, plus a custom 2-column balloon arrangement that was totally awesome. The delivery people arrived on time to the event location, set everything up, and were professional and courteous. I have nothing but praise for this company and will only use them going forward. Mark and his team did an amazing job for our son's Star Wars Themed Bar Mitzvah. They did the centerpieces, balloons, Arch, and Candle lighting kit. The guests were amazed by the creativity and the cool look of the room when they walked in. Centerpieces had crossed light sabers that were lit up for a dramatic effect on a base representing a different star wars planet at each table. My son was so excited that Mark and crew were able to take his concept from paper to reality. Mark did a great job on my son's Bar Mitzvah decorations. We were doing a special luncheon and then a kids party that night and required different decor for each. Mark created exactly what we discussed, including a 7 foot tall basketball player made entirely of balloons with s cutout of my son's face on top! We chose Life O' the Party for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah because we loved the suggestion the woman operating their booth at the Mitzvah Mart had for her theme (silhouettes in different figure skating positions). This is the second time that we used Mark at Life of the Party. He just completed my son's Bar Mitzvah using a soccer theme.
