- I read your comments and concerns however the people including myself that were yelled at, disrespected and cursed weren't responsible for everything you are mentioning at all. To address this matter even further as far as damages and the venue being left with extensive cleaning, and soiled drapes ( I'm assuming wet drapery, where alcohol is involved) pretty common in your line of business I would assume ) and vomit in the bathroom. How is it the fault of mine or my associates that were assisting in removal, how ? You cannot blame or excuse your behavior of the few on the many. We were guests at this event and then bystanders while waiting for the equipment to be broken down and beverages packed and escorted out within the hour time frame to clean. My issue is regarding your professionalism and being disrespected. ** Luckily I will not post the video I took of you yelling several profanities, lies, and also stating leave, don't bother to clean just get " F " out repeatedly while having your several security guards try to calm you down almost an hour before the time everyone was supposed to leave. Maybe that's why no one else stayed back to clean to your standards after everything was removed. I will not post it, but simply mention it because we're both adults and I'm sure you're aware of your behavior and the goal is not to embarrass but enlighten you. I'm not unfair in the sense that you were frustrated for the reasons you are claiming, however your anger was misplaced and directed towards the WRONG INDIVIDUALS. The person/team that booked you, these are issues that you speak directly to them. Not go on an uncontrollable rampage of misplaced anger and blame on anyone and everyone within your view. You don't criminalize a bystander for something they did not do. As a grown man you should know better than to scream at women that way even if that wasn't your initial intentions. Myself and those you behaved that way with were not responsible for everything you're clearly upset about. If you're talking about safety precautions, and the usual banter most businesses use to salvage their reputation, doesn't apply to what my complaint is. It is your behavior is what made most of the females in attendance feel unsafe, uncomfortable and disrespected. And as far as how long you've been in business for, I live a few blocks away literally, you're not well known in a positive light. Refer to the other reviews with similar experiences in a different context. I am sorry you feel that way, but as someone in attendance I'm entitled to share my experience whether it's positive or negative. I hosted a high profile dance workshop this past week. Sandra the owner was super helpful and accommodating with alllllll aspects of the venue. in addition our hostess Jaqueline was an absolute sweetheart ! From start to finish Jacqueline was always on top of our needs. Good energy Good vibes Good service. The only hiccup was the AC- although it was working, the air didn't cool us off much... however, this was a dance workshop which generated a lot of body heat in the middle of a July 2023 heatwave. So it was expected to be a lil uncomfortable. Overall, the space was excellent and the experience was excellent. This past weekend I had the luxury of experiencing a beautiful baby shower for my cousin at R Studios Events. R Studios and their team did an amazing job at executing the set up, decor, and flow of the party. From the moment you walked in, the venue felt magical in every way. The bartenders and staff were on point with everything, and most of all everyone had a great time. This is a great sized location for any type of event such as baby showers, birthday parties, sweet sixteens, and more! Their staff can literally transform it, into whatever you want! If I could give this establishment a 0, I would! We were supposed to have our event here on August 6, 2021, but it was cancelled by the venue. Early April, the owner told us that we would loose our event because ConEd sent a letter stating that they would be cutting the power to her establishment on the weekend of our event. I figured it was a lie because the day before, she emailed me stating that she needed more money to cover costs for our vendors (whom we didn't even set up because she would never tell us who we would be working with as far as food and decor was concerned, so why would we pay if nothing was finalized?). So after I called her out on it, all of a sudden we were being cancelled??? Since we were pressed for time and figured to just let it go because Sandra is super shady, we requested a refund...WHICH TOOK TWO MONTHS and legal threats to make happen. She didn't give us the money back in full, rather than in installments which I had to keep on top of her about. Had we decided to pay her the way that she refunded us, we would've likely not been able to host an event there. I KNEW she was lying about the ConEd situation. What Can I say?! Sandra was amazing!!! I have had 2 of my miracle events there. My first baby shower which was a safari theme and a "Main Squeeze" baby shower. All times Sandra has been amazing and always has gone above and beyond for our family. She really over extends herself and assures that your vision is clear and amazingly represented. I am a control freak and handing over the reigns is not east. But when giving Sandra pictures of my vison of the party and being detailed the first time she just went way further than I could have. The second time i send her pictures and she was able to display my vision to the T. Prior to having my baby shower this past Sunday 11/26, I came here during 2 occasions. Once for a Sweet 16 and the other for a 1 year old birthday. As you can see you can host any event in this venue. After searching for the perfect place to host our baby shower, no other space competed as well as R Studios, other venues were either the same price or more expensive but didn't have the capacity we were looking for which was around 150 people and didn't have extra perks such as a bartender in your package. We spoke to Sandra who was the event specialist and she took care of everything we needed, we chose the Diamond Package which comes with everything that they offer from lighting the entire room, gold chairs, a white throne chair and a step and repeat banner by the entrance and much, much more. Sandra and her associates were a pleasure to work with, I know we weren't the only event she was planning and I can only imagine how many others she has booked, but she remembered every detail of our party every time we spoke about every time we met with her. At the day of the event everything was ready by the time it started and everything went smoothly as we can ever imagine, Sandra and the girls made my vision come to life and everyone was raving about the venue, the food, the cake, decorations, the list goes on and on. I wouldn't have it any other way and it's all thanks to Sandra and R Studios. We will definitely be planning future events here. This venue was perfect. It's spacious, clean and beautiful. There are LED lights throughout which can be changed to any color to match your event. Convenient which makes it very easy for guests. We've been to 2 events here and the space is Amazing! The coordinator is an expert at theme parties. Both times they were classy and elegant. The lighting is beautiful. This is a converted garage so you can see the concrete blocks that have been painted over giving the room a "cool" feel. They have beautiful drapes along the front and the tables and chairs are beautiful, not cheap folding chairs. Both times the bartenders & wait staff were awesome. I am considering having a party here myself. I love the acoustics and the spaciousness. Easily accomodates 250 guests. It would be great if the owner could enlist valet parkers or get a garage nearby as parking can be an issue in this neighborhood. But overall, an awesome venue with excellent staff! read more

This is a very nice venue to have an event. It's a beautiful place that can fit about 100 to 300 people. I attended a birthday party which was so nice. The staff were nice and welcoming. The birthday girls mother stated that she showed them how to prepare the flower arrangements on the table and they did exactly what she wanted. The lights on the ceiling and beautiful colors on the floor made the party a success. To my understanding the price for 5 hours was reasonable as well. They are able to provide food but the birthday girls mother stated that she had a family member make her food. The place was clean and the bathrooms were immaculate The reason why I only gave them 4 stars was because the parking was terrible. It took me some time to find parking. Having something located off of Atlantic Ave in Brooklyn and not having a parking lot can't make people rethink whether this is a place they would like to go service with. My recommendation would be that they would definitely consider creating a parking lot for their guest. read more

They made planning a birthday party so smooth and I appreciate that so much. 1) The decorations were marvelous! I walked in and was blown away at how beautiful the place was decorated. I gave pictures of how I wanted it decorated and they did exactly that and more. 2) The bouncy house was a huge hit with the kids! So happy we upgraded our bouncy house. 3) The staff was so attentive and professional! There is a bouncy house attendant (to supervise the kids) a big PLUS! Where to start?? My boyfriend & I held my daughter's first birthday & baptism party at R Studios! All my guests were very amazed at how beautiful the decorations and the party turned out. I'm super happy that we chose R Studios, Sandra's work is amazing !!!!!!! I found R studios via Yelp. The reason why I fell in love was because they had a bouncy house. My daughter has a lot of little friends and I wanted her party to include a bouncy house. We reached Sandra and she send us a picture of the packages she had. When we met with her she in no way pressured us. My bf and I are young and sometimes business owners tend to try to take advantage or pressure us because "Saturdays tend to be popular" or more "expensive". So they pressure you to leave money and sometimes their pricing is sky high. However at R studios Sandra worked out a package for us. We didn't have an exact budget but I feel like she would work with your budget. We wanted a night party but also a bouncy house. She does explain alot of things before you put a payment. You are also opened up to ask questions like about food, dj, decorations! Honestly the packages R studios offer are really fair pricing !!!!!! Decorations are a bit pricy but like I said they are worth it!!!!! Our decoration package included cake, cookies, cakepops, the list goes on and honestly everything was delicious!!! Once it was a done deal we kept in touch with Sandra and she was very professional. She always gave us a receipt with every little detail of what we were paying for which was a plus!! Ok so theme wise!! My daughter loves Elmo but keep in mind it was also her baptism so I was really questioning decorations. I'm not great in decorations so I left it all to Sandra and she did an amazing job! She made Gaby's main theme baptism, and a section for my daughter with just Elmo. I booked Rstudio Event for Sat, December 1, 2018 and it was the BEST decision my husband and I made. RStudio Events won't let you down. Sandra and her staff are amazing, trustworthy, responsible, and respectful. Sandra and her staff out did themselves for my daughter's Sweet 16. Horrible staff and management!!!! The venue is beautiful but the staff is beyond rude. The event space was booked for a birthday/Christmas party from 9pm to 2am. The bartender tells my fiancé and I to "pack our shit up and leave" at 1:30am. After my brother posts an honest review about our experience, management (Sandra) texts my mom multiple times to remove the yelp review. So I had to speak out about my experience here. Event hall: beautiful Decorations: beautiful Staffing: Questionable. The bartender was complaining most of the night and giving the guests attitudes, but that didn't really phase me. She was overwhelmed because she didn't have anyone helping her, but was that really our problem? No. Staffing should've been better that night to run more smoothly. What REALLY got to me was the security guard. My coworker invited me and a few others to her brothers 18th birthday. We had a great time, as her family are really nice people. But the security guard made me feel so uncomfortable all night. When I'd go to the bar, he would follow me. When I'd walk back to my table, he'd walk back to that vicinity. It got to the point where I had one of my friends blocking me from his view for the rest of the night. I'm giving this place a 1 star not because of the managers responses but because of the actions of the "security guard". There was no need for him to follow me all night as I am well over 21 years old. It got to the point where I was attempting to flash my engagement ring so he'd get the point but he wouldn't. I've never felt this uncomfortable in an event like this in my life. I really hope for this new year the staff gets better training. And maybe they find a "security guard" that doesn't drink the clients liquor and follow around their guests like a creep all night. read more

The location is convenient, safe, and most of all very modern inside. Working with Sandra and Jenny was very smooth they were so flexible and accommodating leading up to the event. My family and I booked this venue for a Baby shower this month. From beginning to end the coordinator Sandra gave us the best service. Everything turned out more than we expected. We selected the color scheme and overall theme and left everything else up to the coordinator. The room was so beautiful, all of the guests were in awe with the decorations. The space was more than enough! We had room for a DJ, Photo booth, dancing floor, and plenty of tables. There are 3 bathroom stalls so there was never a line. We had a birthday party there for about 150 people and they gave us one bartender that pretty much hated her job. i understand it probably is a lot to tend to all these people with one bartender .. but that's not my problem.
