This past weekend I had the luxury of experiencing a beautiful baby shower for my cousin at R Studios Events. R Studios and their team did an amazing job at executing the set up, decor, and flow of the party. From the moment you walked in, the venue felt magical in every way. The bartenders and staff were on point with everything, and most of all everyone had a great time. This is a great sized location for any type of event such as baby showers, birthday parties, sweet sixteens, and more! Their staff can literally transform it, into whatever you want! We had plenty of room to set up a photo booth, DJ, and dessert table. I can't wait to return for another event!

First I want to say thank you so much to Sandra and her team. What an amazing blowout for my husband's 40th party. From the staff, to this amazing place to the details of the decorating and how can I miss THE CAKE. I had a God Father theme party at R Studios and my husband was so surprised. The invites had a blast. What a party. Sandra, you don't deserve and 5 star, mujer, you deserve more then this. The attention you and your staff provided. I can't thank you enough. From NC to NY, you made it happen! Love you girl

Doesn't look like ConEd shut anything down...why the lies Sandra?!

If I could give this establishment a 0, I would! We were supposed to have our event here on August 6, 2021, but it was cancelled by the venue. Early April, the owner told us that we would loose our event because ConEd sent a letter stating that they would be cutting the power to her establishment on the weekend of our event. I figured it was a lie because the day before, she emailed me stating that she needed more money to cover costs for our vendors (whom we didn't even set up because she would never tell us who we would be working with as far as food and decor was concerned, so why would we pay if nothing was finalized?). So after I called her out on it, all of a sudden we were being cancelled??? Since we were pressed for time and figured to just let it go because Sandra is super shady, we requested a refund...WHICH TOOK TWO MONTHS and legal threats to make happen. She didn't give us the money back in full, rather than in installments which I had to keep on top of her about. Had we decided to pay her the way that she refunded us, we would've likely not been able to host an event there. I KNEW she was lying about the ConEd situation. I would not trust her if I were anyone looking to book an event here! ***The pic attached is PROOF that she lied about not being able to host an event for us***

My daughter had Galaxy sweet 16 theme. Sandra did exactly what my daughter wanted without showing her any pictures we didn't know what to expect when we saw the place and I tell you she went above and beyond we were amazing of how great of a job she did. The decorations were so beautiful. The staff was on point with everything and very efficient.

10/2019 safari theme baby shower

What Can I say?! Sandra was amazing!!! I have had 2 of my miracle events there. My first baby shower which was a safari theme and a "Main Squeeze" baby shower. All times Sandra has been amazing and always has gone above and beyond for our family. She really over extends herself and assures that your vision is clear and amazingly represented. I am a control freak and handing over the reigns is not east. But when giving Sandra pictures of my vison of the party and being detailed the first time she just went way further than I could have. The second time i send her pictures and she was able to display my vision to the T. Also, this venue is amazing at last minute set ups and trouble shooting any last minute changes or issues that might occur. Her and her team really are amazing at what they do! I have been very pleased dealing with this company. I have dealt with them with 2 years of space between each party and I have received nothing but an amazing time! I am very happy and blessed to have found Sandra and her team! I strongly recommend this venue for any type of party !!!!

Sandra and her team worked so hard to make our baby shower beautiful. Everything ran smoothly. The decorations were gorgeous and she took our theme and went above and beyond to take it to the next level. The venue is spacious and well kept, clean and comfortable. Her staff was attentive and friendly. Her bartender was on top of everything and a pleasure to work with. The photographer she recommended was great. The food was delicious as well as the cake and treats. She was easy to communicate with and everything was straightforward during the planning process. Highly recommend Sandra and her team. We had a great time and enjoyed everything.

I recently had my baby shower here and I was very satisfied with everything . Everything was included from the venue to decor and even cake and treats . Sandra was easy to work with , I sent her my ideas and she brought them to life . The staff was excellent and a pleasure to work with.

Omg the event space is absolutely perfect and the staff is amazing.... Sandra was such a pleasure to work with she is very professional and extremely helpful with all of your party needs, she goes above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction... The staff is accommodating and kind they always had a smile on their faces and they were committed to making sure we had everything we needed for the best party experience ever... We loved our party there and they are first on our list for our next event

My nephews baby shower was held there.Everything was perfect. The decorations was absolutely gorgeous,We just told Sandra what theme we wanted and she came up with a wonderful scene. No complaints at all from the security to the servers everything was GREAT!!!

We've been to 2 events here and the space is Amazing! The coordinator is an expert at theme parties. Both times they were classy and elegant. The lighting is beautiful. This is a converted garage so you can see the concrete blocks that have been painted over giving the room a "cool" feel. They have beautiful drapes along the front and the tables and chairs are beautiful, not cheap folding chairs. Both times the bartenders & wait staff were awesome. I am considering having a party here myself. I love the acoustics and the spaciousness. Easily accomodates 250 guests. It would be great if the owner could enlist valet parkers or get a garage nearby as parking can be an issue in this neighborhood. But overall, an awesome venue with excellent staff!

This is a very nice venue to have an event. It's a beautiful place that can fit about 100 to 300 people. I attended a birthday party which was so nice. The staff were nice and welcoming. The birthday girls mother stated that she showed them how to prepare the flower arrangements on the table and they did exactly what she wanted. The lights on the ceiling and beautiful colors on the floor made the party a success. To my understanding the price for 5 hours was reasonable as well. They are able to provide food but the birthday girls mother stated that she had a family member make her food. The place was clean and the bathrooms were immaculate The reason why I only gave them 4 stars was because the parking was terrible. It took me some time to find parking. Having something located off of Atlantic Ave in Brooklyn and not having a parking lot can't make people rethink whether this is a place they would like to go service with. My recommendation would be that they would definitely consider creating a parking lot for their guest.

Thank you Sandra & Staff for making my son's 1st birthday memorable. I wanted to book with R Studio since my baby shower but at the time she was booked. I made sure to book right away for my son's big day. I am so glad I had his birthday at this location. Everyone (from adults to children) loved the place. From the decor, the bouncy house, the amazing staff. All of it was perfect. I could not have asked for a better place to host. Thank you so much everyone. Can't wait to celebrate here again for my future babies. Lol. Xo

Months later I've finally gotten the pictures from my photographer and I'm still so happy I chose R Studios for my event. The staff and management went above and beyond to make my event perfect. I keep trying to think of another reason to throw another party there lol Thank you!

JBD was hired to coordinate everything for the day of the event. I had developed my theme and…read morecommunicated my vision and wishes to Ms. Lopez very clearly. I designed my own centerpieces, purchased all the materials including decorations needed to bring my vision to fruition. I communicated with Ms. Lopez via emails with explicit details as to what I wanted and exactly how I wanted everything laid out. I even included pictures so that there would be absolutely no confusion as to what I wanted and how I wanted everything set up. I brought Ms. Lopez to the venue to physically do a walk through in order to be crystal clear on what my expectations were. About a month before the ceremony Ms. Lopez expressed that she needed more people in order to accomplish setting up the venue which was to hold approximately 100 people. Throughout the process it became clear to me that through constant redundant questions, that Ms. Lopez was not reading or comprehending the updated emails which described everything I was providing and how it was supposed to be set up. About two weeks out it became clear that she couldn't provide the full service day of the event planning and management that I desired and understood when we first contracted her. Then began the back and forth arguments with me as to what decorations she wanted to use versus what my wishes were and what I had already created. I arranged for additional people to help Ms. Lopez setup. Then it came to light that was would not be providing the "Day of Wedding Coordination" which was originally discussed and contracted, but rather simply setup the hall and then leave and then return to break it all down. Note: we are having two ceremonies and my Event coordinator for the second event is literally handling everything from beginning to end. Ms. Lopez's demeanor throughout this process became increasingly confrontational, judgmental and demeaning and simply rude. On the day of the event we had arranged to have Ms. Lopez, her staff and the additional help that I arranged to meet at the venue at 3 pm to set up. Her staff and my helpers including my adult children were there to set up. Her staff asked my daughters how to set up the centerpieces, the Champagne flutes, napkins, etc... One of her crew called Ms. Lopez and asked where to place the napkins and she told them to use their better judgement... There was no coordination with the other vendors at all which is also in the contract: "Planning, coordination, management and execution of event details!!!! I worked hard at creating "our vision" She arbitrarily changed things. I specifically told her I did not want flowers as table centerpieces, but rather I wanted the candles and glass candle holders that I bought and provided. She put her own decorations with flowers on the table anyway! Souvenirs, specialty cups, other materials that I bought and boxed and labeled specifically with what should go where was not put out. Cups with the Bride and groom's name written on it that I provided (and detailed in my email) weren't placed on our sweetheart table. I have never had such an unprofessional experience with a vendor. Her lack of etiquette (on All levels) decorum, and just plain kindness was appalling. How dare you make disparaging remarks about items we chose as part of our theme. It's our wedding and our vision NOT her's!!! Perhaps she is used to working with people that tolerate that condescending, mean, and unprofessional behavior. We are not and my guests and family members that I sent to help her do HER job didn't expect or deserve that kind of treatment either. Ms. Lopez was contracted to provide a service. While her thoughts and ideas may be solicited and considered, the final decision belongs to the client. We hired her, not the other way around. Moreover, the attitude and sarcasm was atrociously disrespectful. Her job was simple: take the client's vision and execute it. I went to extreme lengths to provide her specific details on how I wanted things set up. All she had to do was read. Ms. Lopez complained that she had other events at the same time. Project and time management is her responsibility, not mine. She should not take on more jobs than she has the bandwidth to accomplish successfully. She literally failed in every aspect of professionalism, planning, ability to organize and project execution.

She is flexible and will establish a payment plan. I trusted her. Everything went well in working with her until the day of my event. She texted me and told me that my cake needed to be delivered an hour before she was going to have access to the venue. I asked her what that meant, if she knew this prior, and if this meant I was not going to have a cake. She replies in asking, "did I say you were not going to have a cake?" I immediately called her and told her I didn't understand the tone in her text. She says she was just telling me about the situation and that she didn't know what was going on with me that day Well, the set up of my event was nice and she NEVER followed up with me to apologize or see if I was satisfied with the setup. At the party, I noticed that my display did not have two flower arrangements that I paid for and was a part of the contract. I reached out to her and expressed my concerns. She responded by saying that my event was a loss for her, that I was being unreasonable, the venue was not good, she was not able to get into the venue to get her materials ....Nothing to do with the missing flowers or with my signed agreement with her. I asked her for a partial reimbursement and she was adamant about only giving me back $50. I am disappointed in how she runs her business and how she lacked professionalism in the end. Her work is beautiful, but I did not get everything that I paid for. She violated our contract, and I am considering taking legal action. Be cautious in hiring her!

I just had my baby shower here last weekend. It was absolutely wonderful. We had an early daytime…read moreparty on a Saturday from 11-5. Abdul was great to work with. From the first visit to the hall it was amazingly easy to talk to him, ask all our questions and address any concerns. We had about 90 ppl in total, although we expected close to 120. Tables and chair were sturdy, good condition and clean. The hall was clean and tidy when we got there early Saturday morning. Abdul called in to check that we were doing okay that morning and to confirm that he would be by to check out the sound system and make sure it was up and running for us. There was an evening event right after ours so we did have to be certain of clearing out by 5 so that the next party could adequately decorate and we were able to squeeze by. Abdul was there at the end to make sure everything was ok and got to work with his clean up crew with the hall provides as part of the fees and pricing. There are add-ons that they offer such as the ice machine in the back room, which worked great for us for the price, having the peace of mind that we had ice on hand. We also used the chaffing dishes they offer (extra fee) to keep the food warm, we provided the burners ourselves. I wish I had taken more pictures of just the hall and the decorations but something is better than nothing. We provided decorations ourselves but I know that they do offer decoration services such as a decorative chair, tablecloths and chair covers that I had seen on other occasions during other visits during other parties. I definitely recommend this hall for events, parties of all kinds. Great staff to work with. Thank so much to Abdul and Medina Hall for making this such a special day!
