I as the manger did not know any other way to reach out to yelp subscribers so I took this route since yelp stated they can do nothing for me and I have to allow this behavior so I needed to write this: I am a firm believer that Yelp was made to help express peoples concerns for a business so the business can make improvements, not destroy the integrity not only of the Mananger (me) but her Staff. In the past 2 weeks people have shown me otherwise, we had an event where the guests of the client were just mean, angry and belligerent. They felt the need to flood yelp and write terrible things about our venue and staff, I mean to the point of pretending to be other people not the guests from the same party. I can understand a complaint, I am open to criticism always and to learn from any past mistakes. I will not stand for harassment or bullying, I was not raised that way and I wonder if their mother (the client) has seen their behavior. Maybe seeing how much fun they had in their pics on Instagram was what it looks like to have as they call a "horrible" night. I write this because this behavior should not be allowed, but I guess this new generation feels that they can hurt me and my business by cyber harassment. Many who know me, my staff and our business knows we are always here to cater to our clients. Rules are made for the safety of our clients as well as their guests and are ALWAYS discussed at time of signing contracts. Some feel the RULES should not apply to them, that is why I am adamant of discussing procedures and protocol before taking a deposit. Past clients who know me know that of me. Thank you all for taking the time to listen, it is of importance that businesses are not hurt by revengeful and mean reviews anywhere. One last thing, when guest behave they have a wonderful time when they don't this is what most venues get terrible reviews. I have no idea who most of these people are just the nice woman that assured me that what I felt was going to happen would not, and it did. I do not know exactly how to begin. I have waited several days to write this review, because it makes me emotional thinking of how to express my experience with this venue and staff. So here goes: From the very first meeting with event specialist Sandra, I was in complete awe. She is so very sweet and compassionate. Very knowledgeable and guides you in the very best way for your event to be a success. Always, very attentive and welcoming. Made our vision not only come to life, but made the entire event MAGICAL. We celebrated my daughter's sweet 16. Everything was absolutely perfect!!! The event staff extremely nice, attentive, welcoming. I mean their smiles lit the room. My guest even told me how happy they were with the staff experience. Knowing that these professionals were there to make sure my daughter and I had the very best night, I was able to calm down and actually enjoy myself. At one point, I actually stepped back, took a good look all around the room, basked in amazement that everything was so breathtakingly beautiful, all my guest enjoying the ambiance and the guest of honor, my birthday girl feeling like a complete true princess. I got emotional in that very moment, because it would not had been possible without these wonderful people. I honestly do not know where to begin, so here we go. I do want to start by saying that Sandra and her staff are amazing and I couldn't ask for a better team. I had my baby shower on 8/5/18, and although I went into labor on Sunday and missed the whole event, I have only heard wonderful things from my friends and family. The staff was super helpful, accommodating, and welcoming. Many even mentioned hosting their party at the location. While at the hospital I did get videos and pictures of the event and there were just beautiful and breathtaking. You cant help but fall in love with the spacious and elegant place, and the wonderful staff is just the cherry on top. I'm truly grateful for Sandra for being so accommodating from the beginning. She was really kind, sweet and very helpful. Besides the spacious and elegant place, her friendliness was a major selling point. I honestly did not feel like I was just another prospect, I felt like she took the time to understand our needs and request were and she guided us through everything. I absolutely loooooooovvvvveee this venue!!!!! I had my wedding here back in November of 2018, and let me start by saying that I was able to put together my dream wedding in a matter of 7 months, with the help of Sandra and her team-she executed all of my dreams and wishes in made them into a reality. She was always there when I had questions and concerns and made me feel like I was her main priority,which always made me feel at ease. Her staff is just as amazing as she is they are gracious, professional and courteous and attended to all of my guests needs. If you are indeed looking for a venue that will not just take your money and do what they please but actually cares about the client (which would be you) this is the venue for you. First let me start by saying I had my daughter's Queen of hearts sweet sixteen at this venue this past Sunday it was beyond amazing!! Sandra and her staff are so professional and kind. Also they are very patient. Especially with the kids. The decore was simply amazing! I recommend hou use the Sandra to also plan because its easier. Its a one stop shop. The details were perfect. We got everything we asked for and more. Even a lifesize doll. The food was very good. And there was plenty. The space is like nothing you will find in a catering hall. The space fit all of my guest comfortably. The lighting in the room was perfect! The restrooms were clean at all times. The even have plenty of mirrors for you to always check your glam. Parking is a hit or miss in that neighborhood. But that is minor compared to the amazing experience you get. I was married there August 17, 2018. It was absolutely fabulous. Words cannot describe how Sandra and her staff made me feel. Because this was the 2nd marriage for me and my boyfriend, we decided to do something low key. So we kept the ceremony down to 30 minutes and went straight into the party, which is why we called it a party and not a wedding. Sandra made sure my vision came to reality. The place was beautiful. But what was amazing was the treatment I received through the year long process form when we first came in contact with Sandra. Everytime we met, she would ask how I was doing. She wasn't just all business, but genuinely cared about how I was managing with everything. Her staff was professional yet personal. Everyone continues to talk about how nice the place and staff was. I had went to a sweet 16 a while ago here which was shut down for whatever reason. I decided to maybe give this place a chance because it's a really nice venue. But, the owner Sandra is EXTREMELY unorganized. Her office space which is above the venue is a disgusting mess. The venue is poorly coordinated and after seeing the string of bad reviews it made me want to speak out about my bad experience. She tells you to pick a certain package which you have to pay the bartenders, security guard and workers. She just wants your money. Stay far away from this place! If this business was on the better business bureau, I would've reported the poor character of the business owner as well and how she handles her clients (based on her responses on here). The ABSOLUTE BEST event space you'll find in the NYC area. Sandra and her team made my dream baby shower a reality. We originally booked for a wedding reception but switched to a baby shower and Sandra was awesome through every twist and turn, even when I felt like I was being annoying lol. They're so good at their jobs here but also top notch people too. You definitely would not regret booking this venue for any occasion. It's worth EVERY penny! My baby shower went smoothly and I didn't have anything to worry about at all that day. I don't even know where to start. I can't thank Sandra and her team enough. Everything was absolutely perfect. From the beginning everything was great. Sandra gave us an amazing deal for my kids party. We were allowed to bring some of our stuff the day before the event which helped so much. The day of Sandra was there when we arrived but had to leave, she made sure she left me with Jenny whom was amazing. Jenny had tables set up and was working on balloons so all I had to worry about was the cake tables. Throughout the night they helped me keep the ball rolling.
