Words can't express how amazing Chris and Aenid are!…read more I had decided pretty last minute that I HAD to have a videographer for our wedding (about a month prior!) - which lead to sleepless nights watching demo videos online and trying to find a videographer who created beautiful wedding highlights, was within our budget, and was still available for our wedding day! All of which The Candi Project met, much to our joy!!! Chris and Aenid are AMAZING to work with. They met with us about a week after I had reached out to them, and communicated with us to get all the info before our big day (which was only a few weeks away at that point!). The day of the wedding, they went to my now husband's place first to capture him getting ready and were infinitely patient when he was very late in coming back home from picking up his best man! They then came to my place to capture me getting ready with my ladies, then rushed to the church to set up their cameras for the ceremony. It was AWESOME having the dual team and THREE different camera angles at our ceremony. And they were with us at the reception until like an hour before the party ended - which was almost 12 hours!!! They were also ridiculously fast with the editing - our wedding was on 10/5 and they sent us the link to our highlights video YESTERDAY - only 3 weeks!! I can't stop watching our video. Everyone has cried watching it. I would not hesitate in recommending The Candi Project for any of your video/photo needs. She answered all of our questions and also tailored our photography and videography package to meet our needs. Yvonne kept in contact with me on a bi weekly basis, providing me with information and necessary details. The week before our wedding, we met with Yvonne to finalize all of the details and she definitely made us feel at ease. On our wedding day and reception day, the photographers and videographers, including Max were absolutely the best. They were so patient and made us laugh the entire time. It was such a great experience. After our wedding, within one month, I received all of our pictures from our wedding & reception and within two months I received our highlight videos and wedding/reception full videos. However we took multiple shots and after processing, people looked ridiculous. I understand that I'm not photogenic but they literally photoshopped my face differently in each picture. Not exaggerating I look like a new species of alien in 10-15 pictures of the entire set. The rest of my family looks fine so I doubt they care much but these photos were entirely unusable. I would rather look ugly but human instead of like I'm in a rotating sideshow mirror from a traveling circus. I don't understand how someone looked at my face and decided "anything but the original is better" every time they looked at a new photo but didn't keep the photoshop (which took months) consistent. I have since used my own warped face as memes and my own sticker set. It's comical. They insisted they would do a good job of inserting the people who were absent into the photos. Everyone has different shapes and sizes. Hire someone with actual experience. I feel like they should give us a refund with interest. Then again, the pictures are hilarious so maybe I'm paying for entertainment and not actual photos.

Our wedding was 6/27/2026 and I waited this long to post my review because I was afraid of retaliation so I waited until I received my album and video. First and foremost, Joe, the photographer (and owner!!!) looked miserable at our wedding. Didn't crack a smile, didn't talk to or engage our guests. And everyone was talking about it. Sooooooo embarrassing!!! I could accept that IF he had done a great job. However, hired for 7 hours, only produced 784 pictures!!! I stopped counting at 100, but more than 100 of the pics are only of 2 or 3 people and they're all CLOSE UP , literally shoulders up like head shots!!! The worst part is he missed such simple key moments of our wedding day... there are NO pictures of the entire wedding party at the altar. My best friend officiated, I have ONE pic of her during the ceremony and its not even centered. NO centered pics of me coming down the aisle. AND, almost all of the pics of our ceremony were taken from above the head of our officiant...he kept hitting her in the head with the camera strap to the point that she turned around mid ceremony. EVERYONE noticed!!!! Again, soooooo embarrassing!!! And the pics of our ceremony look so warped as they are all taken from above!! NONE FROM THE FRONT??? NO PICS OF THE GIRLS AT THE ALTAR. NO PICS OF MY STEPCHILDREN STANDING UP FOR THEIR FATHER!!! How do you miss that ??? NO pics were taken after the ceremony with the entire wedding party or both of our small families. My husband's kids stood up for us and we have NO pics, not even ONE pic, of them both at the altar with us!!! We have NO full length pics of the wedding party pics and family pics. NONE! NO pics of me at the altar with my train spread out behind me. For our first dance, he took all of the pics from BEHIND us!!!!! Who the hell wants pictures of their BACKS during the first dance??? And we had 2 dips during our choreographed dance, he MISSED BOTH! We did a whole singalong on the dance floor with blow up microphones and there are NO pictures of us dancing and singing...NONE!!! We had a packed dance floor and on the video, you can see the photographer standing against the wall with his camera hanging down. NO EFFORT to capture the fun and the essence of our day. I literally had to take still shots from the video to put together my own photo album. When I went to pick up my album, I was calm and expressed how unhappy I was that he seemed to miss all of the memorable moments of our wedding. Instead of listening to my complaints, his response was "OK! GET OUT! I DONT HAVE TO LISTEN TO THIS!" That's how you respond to an unhappy customer????? If I could have him shut down I would. I don't know how he promotes himself as a wedding photographer. I don't believe the pics on their web site or in their studio are theirs. There is just no way it's the same photographer. In addition to the normal photos we have from our photographer we now have another great keepsake. Deluxe Photo Booths created a photo album that we were able to take home with us the night of our wedding. Everyone also signed the album next to their pictures.
