Lobster salad & short rib quesadilla

It was a shame to see the place so empty. The decor is so nice & the attention from bartender Marc was great. We ordered a few things off the menu which were all fresh & good. The baked clams weren't my cup of tea the flavor profile but it wasn't bad. This place is missing a vibe where you need a prefix or a comedy night. It has beautiful potential & great staff. We came here for Father's day. Service was excellent and food was delicious. They have a little outdoor area if you want to eat outside. My fave dish we had was the chicken milanese.

The Jameson's has now been converted (for a lack of better terms) into Post & Union. I am definitely not complaining about it as I went during HH & was quite impressed by the options provided. I ordered a speciality cocktail (something with gin forgetting the name). & the mussels in lobster cream along with the crispy burrata. The drink was strong & refreshing. The mussels were great as well- I just wish some bread was given to dip into that creamy sauce but I feel if I had asked (which I did not lol), they would've been happy to give me some. Now, the crispy burrata was great & definitely a must order in my eyes. The red sauce is a bit sweeter than I would've liked but the burrata itself is quite tasty, I haven't had crispy burrata in a hot minute & I am glad they do it here. All in all, glad to have this place in the neighborhood.

    Short rib mac and cheese

Food is great, the short rib mac and cheese and the Guinness soup are my go to's, but if you don't get Susan as your waitress you are screwed. Every waiter is always frazzled and they have way too many tables and not enough servers.

I finally visited a sister restaurant of Luigi's located across the street from the Floral Park…read moreTrain Station. The ambiance appears to be bigger than Luigi's and it's always busy/packed. Reservations are highly recommended. A lot of my mom friends rave about this place and I got to dine here twice with them, once for brunch and the other for dinner. The first time I came here was with my child for brunch. I got a mocktail and we ordered chicken and waffles along the unadvertised kids menu containing chicken fingers and fries. Portions for both dishes were generous and took home the leftovers. We also shared the Brussels sprouts and the infamois complimentary bread, which were really good. The second and most recent time we went was for dinner with the a huge group of moms. We shared the Caesar salad, Brussels sprouts, and general two's cauliflower, which was amazing. I had the red sangria and a taste of the Huckleberry lemonade, drinks were strong. For the entrees I ordered the salmon and once again portion was huge, took it home and the hubby ate the leftovers. Other moms ordered the frose, spicy paloma, le poulet and spicy Rigatoni. At the end we had key lime pie which tasted great but I was too full to finish it. I'll be coming to this spot more often because of great company and food!

This one is every ounce of what they market online. The food is amazing. The staff is amazing. Inside is amazing. There's even plenty of parking near the local train station. The marketing team did an outstanding job representing this restaurant. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

Kathleen, John, and Micaela (and friend, sorry I can't remember your name) were absolutely amazing to work with. Their attention to detail, warmth, and professionalism made all the difference. Every time we called with a question or request, they responded promptly and went out of their way to make sure everything was taken care of. They had a problem at the pub They kept us informed with progress We wanted to continue with this pub and these people because of the professionalism and also they made us feel like family. You could genuinely tell they cared about making our event special--and they absolutely delivered. The food was delicious ( thank you Kathleen), the setup was beautiful, and the service throughout the event was top-notch. Kathleen, John, and Micaela went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and their efforts made the baby shower feel effortless and joyful. If you're looking for a venue that combines outstanding service with a personal touch, look no further than John Duggan's. We can't thank them enough and would highly recommend them to anyone planning a special event!

Things Ive tried: DUBLINER STUFFED MUSHROOMS - while it was tasty, I found it to be too rich with cheese. Cheese lovers would probably love this though. CORNED BEEF EGG ROLLS - I found was a little bit dry for me. But we tried the CORN BEEF REUBEN sandwich during our following outing here and that was delicious. Super tasty and moist. Would order the Reuben again. SHEPHERDS PIE BALL - im iffy about shepherds pie but I really enjoyed these. Had the right ratio of mashed potato to meat & veggie. Gravy was great but I would say the curry sauce with this was next level. SPICE BAG - yes!! This is so delicious. Can we make this into a Party Bag. If I could CURRY CHICKEN HALF & HALF - same curry as the spice bag, this was so tasty. I almost lost my food to my daughter because she loved it so much as well. Happy eating, you wont regret visiting this establishment.

Both drinks were crafted nicely. We began with egg rolls stuffed with corn beef, carrots, and cabbage. Perfectly deep fried and not oily. I had the fried chicken sandwich with shoe string fries. Nice sized chicken cutlets served with cheese and pickles served on a toasted hero. Perfectly made! We also had the BLTrinity which was reported to be amazing. Thick bacon, fresh lettuce, fresh cut tomatoes and we added Swiss cheese to it. Served with steak fries with Swiss cheese. We finished up with the carrot cake and coffee. The carrot cake was fresh as was the coffee. The waitress was very nice and chatted with us in between courses. The men's bathroom was clean and well kept. Always a great sign. The price was right and parking was good. We will definitely be back.
