Kind of a letdown. Elsie Lane is okay, but not great, and not worth going out of your way for (it's a little out of my way). The draft beer and other HH specials are the main reason I'd return, especially to try the giant pretzel. But the vibe is meh, the music is loud and unappealing (is this a bar on a Friday evening or a club later that night?) It's probably a good spot to catch a game on one of multiple widescreen TVs, but HH with a group, not so much, unless you like to yell and strain to hear your friends over loud pop music that doesn't align with the visual aesthetic at all.
Came here for a drink. The entrance is right on Jericho Turnpike. You can park on the street or on the side streets. The bar is long and there is ample seating. You can also sit in one of the booths or at the tables in the back. We decided to sit at the bar, it was a busy Saturday night. We got our orders in right away. The bartenders are attentive so you won't be waiting to order even when it's busy. I tried the Hulk drink and the Lavendar spritz, both very good. My friend had her Gin and Tonic and Amaretto Sour. She really enjoyed them. We ate some wings and fries. Both very good. The fries were fresh and had the right amount of salt. Prices are average. Not bad at all. Would come here to chill, date night, or to shoot pool.
Elsie Lane was a great spot for a Sunday night! The atmosphere was relaxed with chill music, good drinks, and a really nice laid-back vibe. They also have a pool table, which makes it a fun place to hang out without feeling too crowded or hectic. Great spot to grab a drink, play some pool, and unwind before the start of the week. Definitely somewhere we'd come back to!
Great food, always a good time here. Some of my favorite wings, extra crispy and crunchy with a great array of sauces. We got some more apps including sliders, a pretzel and Mac and Cheese bites. All were great. It was a one man show on a Sunday he did a great job his service was amazing. I felt horrible though because wasn't fair for him. I'd say the lighting is the only negative remark, it's way too dark inside. The rest was incredible.
The first time I went to Elsie Lane was for my coworkers birthday. I had such a good time that I started coming back here often with my boyfriend and friends. Everyone that works here is so nice and the food here is sooo good!! I recommend the fiesta quesadilla, getting the bone in wings, and trying a burger! They have table service or you can sit at the bar. They play good music but you can also change to whatever music you want with the jukebox app (costs money). They have events Monday-Thursday: Monday: 50 cent wings 7pm-close Tuesday: Bingo night Wednesday: Trivia Night 8pm-10pm Thursday: DJ They have happy hour Mon-Fri 3pm-7pm. You can have parties here but it won't be a private party. They will reserve tables for you in the back next to the pool table. Definitely recommend stopping by here for some drinks or food if you're in the area!
Never a complaint here. Great hidden gem Always great service with friendly staff & even better food. Amazing wings ! You have to try their burgers. Always cooked to the perfect temp! Parking is on the side street and in the back. You can get an app and select your own music to play. There's even a pool table here as well. During the week they have game nights ! Definitely one of my go to spots

These Disco Fries are so good, order these first eat them then place your order. They are so good when eaten while they are still hot.
I had a craving for fried chicken wings at 11 PM. What to do? I checked what was available on Ubereats and went with Elsie Lane based on the ratings. The food arrived 45 minutes after ordering. I orderered: Herricks Heat - a grilled chicken. Sandwich. It was dry, but flavorful. 3/5 The Elsie Sandwich - the flagship fried chicken sandwich containing only pickles and Elsie sauce. It was well seasoned, crunchy and moist. 4/5 The Spicy Jericho - the spicy version of the fried chicken sandwich. The heat comes from the buffalo sauce. It's offset by the cool lettuce, tomato and onion. 4/5 Wings - this was a big let down. Perhaps the worst wings I have had in a while. I ordered them "naked" to avoid excess breading. What I got was a bucket of fried wings that looked like they were over cooked or burned. The flavor and texture is similar to the wings on your Thanksgiving Turkey. Even the Buffalo sauce couldn't save it. 2/5
Kitchen opens until 12:30-1am! It is not easy finding a bar with the kitchen open late. The menu had a lot of options. It's a great bar scene with many TVs on the wall. There are booths for people to eat and drink. We ordered the teriyaki, buffalo, and, and reaper wings. The reaper wings was not hot at all. We figured they gave us the wrong sauce. They did. After they gave us the correct sauce, it was hot. The funny thing is the waitress kept on trying to take our chicken wings away even though their were a few pieces on the tray. We had to keep guard. We ordered a few burger and fries. The Californian veggie burger was delicious. I like the hummus and cucumbers inside. Refreshing. The chicken burgers were also good. The favorite drinks were the hulk (pouch) and the I can't take the booze alcohol drinks. They have a small pool table. 4 quarters for one game.
What a find in New Hyde Park!!! We walked into this unassuming restaurant and were greeted with a fun dive-bar type feel, loud hip-hop/rap, and some great energy. We sat down and were served immediately. The service was impeccable the entire time. Everyone was quick and attentive. The wings here were SUPER good. We got the BBQ Ranch sauce which was delicious - sweet and tangy. We also tried the Wenzel sauce, which is their house Buffalo sauce. This sauce was so good we considered asking if we could buy a bottle to take home. Soooo perfect! We had the Ox and the Classic burger. They were both really good. The meat was quality and the toppings were fresh. The French fries were also delicious. Would definitely come back!
I mean, look at those wangs!! I walked in because I was getting my windows tinted across the street and I'm glad I did! The wings with the sauce on the side were amazing. Justin was super attentive as well! Can't wait to come back

I kept hearing that Elsie Lane had some good wings, and they definitely weren't lying! This location is always so lively there's usually a good crowd, fun events like karaoke and bingo nights, and just an overall vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. The music is good, the atmosphere is fun, and it feels like one of those spots where you can come with friends and just have a good time.The wings were definitely a highlight for me. They're served naked, and you get a bunch of different sauce options to choose from. Of course, I went with my usual Buffalo and they were crispy and really good! The cocktails were also a nice touch because you can never go wrong with a good drink alongside some wings.Everyone was friendly. I also love that parking isn't too much of a headache there's street parking and parking in the back.Elsie Lane is definitely a vibe! Good wings, good cocktails, good music, and a lively atmosphere with fun things going on. I'd definitely come back, especially for another karaoke or bingo night. read more

Came here on bingo night so it was kind of loud.... But it's okay! It was fun to see the staff engage with customers and the games they were playing! We started off with 6 wings and we got a few sauces with it. We got fire and ice, garlic parm, teriyaki, and sweet chili. All which were so delicious! My friend got the Uncle D burger, and I got the spicy Jericho. We BOTH finished everything... i mean everything!!!! My chicken sandwich was so big it had lots of chicken sticking out of the bun! It was also soooooo crunchy, which made it so delicious. I tried my friends uncle d burger and WOW! So flavorful and the bacon was well done, it gave it that perfect crunch. Everyone was friendly and waiter was so attentive. Definitely coming back. read more
Great service. Delicious food. What else do you need? This spot definitely gets popular. I came with my friends on a Saturday night and there were no tables left inside so we decided to sit outside under their tent. Although it was chilly, they turned on the heater which helped but not enough for us to take off our jackets. We didn't mind as it was much louder inside and there were no other customers sitting outside either. The service was also good and the food came out at a reasonable time. We all got burgers/sandwiches and wings to share. The burgers were delicious! They had fat, meaty patties on toasted but soft bread. The burgers were really juicy and flavorful. The what the cluck chicken sandwich was also good but a bit on the dry side, definitely needed pickles to cut the fried chicken and mozz triangles. The wings were also some of the best I've had! They were pretty big and also very juicy but crispy on the outside. I like that they come unseasoned and we can just choose what sauces we wanted on the side. We got fries with the burgers but I found their fries to be just okay. They were thin, salty, and got cold fairly quick (since we were sitting outside too) but not bad. This restaurant has been doing some awesome activities during this period by donating dishes to the hospitals. As a result I decided to support the business by ordering lunch for delivery on Uber Eats. The order and delivery went very smooth and the quality of food was impressive. What's also awesome was they included their menu with the order so we can more stuff from them. Personally I would visit the place for happy hour because they have awesome deals. Anyways back to the food experience we ordered the Ox Burger. The burger was deceptively filling with an explosion of flavors and the fries were crispy. We also ordered Beef Taco Quesadilla which presented as 4 pieces which is personally enough for two days. I also loved the fact that the sauces were served separately and on the side. After reviewing the menu there are other dishes I would like to explore such as the Elsie Sampler, Uncle D burger and the Jericho Sandwich. Came here on Monday night at around 6:30 for wing night (50 cents wings). Food: we ordered the wings, they came with a variety of sauces. We got BBQ, The Elsie sauce and the Asian Garlic. All there were pretty good. The Elsie sauce was like a mild chipotle sauce. The wings were AMAZING! They are cooked to perfection and they are perfect with the sauce on the side. We also got a side of fries which were the ideal portion. The mozzarella triangles were delicious even without dipping them in the sauce. Drinks: they have happy hour specials with $6 wells, $5 wine. Their specialty drinks however seem to be the highlight of this place. I highly recommend the PINK drink, it's a bit sweet but so delicious. The vibe: this bar has the perfect vibe for everyone. You can sit down have dinner, just have a calm relaxing drink at the bar, or hang out in the back by the pool table and other games. They also have Bingo night on Tuesdays. The service here is also outstanding. Our bartender for the night was Mike and he was awesome. He was super attentive, friendly and of course made great drinks. We look forward to making Elsie Lane our local go to spot! :-) read more
Herd about this pub in my town and wanted to try it. Found a Groupon on line and went with my wife and 2 daughters. Upon entering it was a typical bar with booths and a table in the rear, with a pool table and darts. We were welcomed by the bartender immediately and sat us at a booth. Our waiter came over, gave us menus and a beer menu. Wasn't too extensive but a nice selection. We ordered the Schofferhofer for 3 of us but they only had enough left on tap for one. I guess that happens. My wife and I let our daughter have it and we ordered the Shipyard, a little bitter for me but I'm not relay a beer drinker so I'm sure it was fine, my wife liked it. My other daughter ordered a sprite. For dinner we had the Big Rich Burgers with Cheddar Cheese, Applewood Smoked Bacon topped with buttermilk slaw and barbecue sauce and fries to go with our beers. Didn't know how this combination would be but is was awesome. A great combo. My other daughter had the Mac and Cheese. Also very good. All our food came out in a timely manor and was hot. We were all had enough to eat and were full. Our waiter came over couples of times to see if all was ok. He was very polite, friendly and efficient. I'm glad we found this place and gave it try, it's always nice to have a good pub in town to grab a bite and a drink or just hang at the bar. Hope to be back soon to try some other goodies. read more
I really really really hope that they keep the outdoor space in the back, they did it so very cute. I have never been here before quarantine or haven't been inside but Omg the drinks here are strong, the adult Capri sun I got had vodka and a few different juices. I would say it was good, wish it was a little more balanced but I would order it again. I would love more fun drink options in the pouch, so much fun! read more

Having worked in a pub in lower Manhattan for a long time and frequenting other pubs as well, I've always longed for somewhere casual with good food near my home town of Bellerose. My dad and I were craving a burger and a pint of Guinness, and we were presently surprised by Elsie Lane. We were greeted by the friendly staff as soon as we entered. Really loved how the walls were lined with cool bar paraphernalia instead of the standard dusty old growlers and pints. Best part was there wasn't that intimidating air you get in some of the older traditional pubs (and I tend to get that a lot since I look like a young dude). We ordered the mushroom and onion burger and it was the juiciest burger I've had in a long time. It paired perfectly with an ice cold Guinness on tap. Plus the fries are definitely something to write home about as well, because I still can't stop thinking about them. The best part was that it was such an easy going Sunday, we got to catch the Bills game live during our lunch. Overall great food, great drinks, and great atmosphere! read more

Came for lunch and tried the sampler that came with wings, loaded fries, tenders, and mozzarella sticks. It was all decent but my favorite would be the chicken tenders...really tender, not too crispy, hot and tasty. I would visit again and try out their good looking burgers! read more

Small bar on Hillside avenue that offers surprisingly tasty burgers and sides. Burgers were cooked just the way we requested and were pretty delicious. A high quality brioche buns and a thick patty really made it stand out. The sampler platter was a good showcase of this bar's appetizers. The loaded fries were amazing (I didnt touch any of the plain fries that came with the burger). I was excited for the buffalo wings but they ended up being dry. The sauces the platter came with managed to mitigate this, so it wasn't too bad. The boneless chicken nuggets were great though, just the right crispy texture and juicy meat inside. read more
