Went here after a show with some friends. The close at 11 and we showed up at 10:50 and they sat us and served us with excellence. They give you this bread that is soft warm and salty. We had a number of appetizers the wagu meatballs, cauliflower, zucchini and eggplant fries , the Korean wings and short rib quesadillas everything was very good. I split the burger which was delicious tasted like an elevated Big Mac to me. My friend had the onion spud it was ooozing with cheese on top ! And others shared a shish platter.

First & foremost, the waitress Jessica was great & super attentive without being overbearing. Second, I've frequented The Harrison a couple times & I've always enjoyed a good meal there. I went for brunch with my friend & had the steak & eggs as well as the French toast- they were both great. The chimichurri sauce with the steak was fantastic. All in all, I'm glad to have this place near me.

The food was good but make sure to keep your receipt. I paid $25 which included tax and tip and when I looked at my credit card statement I was charged $33. Disputing that with my cc

The Harrison is the quintessential Gastropub- perfect for meeting friends who want a top-tier place within walking distance of the LIRR. Housed in a landmark Floral Park building, this gem has a warm ambiance with low lighting, leather booths, and quiet background coffee-sleepy-jazz in the background (Though, as a fan, I wish they hadn't messed with the Sly and the Family Stone's "If You Want Me To Stay" :D). There is an inviting large bar, an open kitchen, and a large private room in the back. The menu is American classics made with premium ingredients. Although his place is known for their single malt whiskey, craft beer and signature cocktails, only one at our table had a cocktail: EZ Money made with gin, prosecco, lemon, cucumber and St- Germain Elderflower Liqueur. I will look at their wine list next visit. As for the food, the garlic bread and calamari did not disappoint. Our table ordered a variety of dishes. A unique rotisserie chicken salad sandwich, a salmon bowl, and an order of mussels. Each dish was a win. I chose a great mesclun green salad and had to try the double smash burger, a mouth-watering proprietary blend of prime chuck, brisket and short rib which I'd have to talk myself out of not re ordering with my next visit. From family gatherings and office parties to intimate date nights, The Harrison offers an ambiance and menu designed to satisfy both the casual diner and the most discerning palate.

Came here the morning after a snowstorm for brunch, and it was delicious. There are a few parking spots in the parking lot across from the corner of The Harrison. Can you really go wrong with a restaurant that provides a bread basket? The steak frites and sauce were cooked to perfection, and the flavor of the sauce was delicious. The eggs benny came with arugula and home fries. I thought the plate of French toast could have had a little more decoration, but it was yummy. Our waitress was very nice and checked up on us a bunch of times and encouraged us to get dessert (which I appreciated!) Service was excellent, the booths were comfortable, and the food was delicious. Can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.

The Harrison absolutely delivered. I attended a ski trip themed party, and the entire experience was amazing from start to finish. The atmosphere was fun, energetic, and well executed everything from the décor to the crowd made it feel like a true event, not just a night out. The music was diverse, which kept the energy high all night and brought everyone together on the dance floor. The drinks were strong (in the best way), and the bartenders clearly knew what they were doing. I also met a lot of great people, which says a lot about the vibe and the crowd the venue attracts. Overall, an excellent experience. The Harrison is clearly a place that knows how to host a memorable event. I would absolutely return.

Great all-around restaurant for a night out with friends, family or a date! Visited the Harrison 2 weeks ago for restaurant week (3-course starting at $39 with $6 optional entree upgrade). We ordered: - burger bites (it was a burger cut in quarters. Not exactly what we expected but it was the best bite of the night. 5/5) - Kobe meatballs (4/5) - tuna tacos (fresh, yummy. 5/5) - caesar salad (it's good here, esp the parmesan crisps. 5/5) - eggplant parm (could skip. 3/5) - steak frites (4/5) - warm chocolate cake (everything you want from a molten lava cake w/ vanilla ice cream. 5/5) - long island cheesecake (too cheesy for me! 3/5) Restaurant ambiance was similar to that of a lively bistro. There's also a bar with TV's in the front of the restaurant if you want to catch a game. Highly recommend the Harrison to go out with friends, a date or to try someplace new with your family. Service was impeccable and friendly. Great drinks, food and dessert options overall.

We went for restaurant week on a Friday night. It was very crowded in the main room but the back room luckily wasn't filled up yet so we got a table for four of us without waiting. We ordered drinks first and that came very quick. Then we ordered our appetizers which came immediately. The burger was delicious on it's own, same for the meatballs. Our table mainly got the steak and fries. The steak was cooked perfectly for each of us. We got medium rare, medium, and medium well. All of which came out correct. The peppercorn gravy tastes good but overwhelms the flavor of the steak. I enjoyed it but one of our party didn't even use it so it's a hit or miss. Service was excellent even on a busy night. Our waitress was very accommodating and kept checking in with us. Overall had a great time and will definitely be back!

I was lucky enough to win an Instagram contest from The Harrison and their sister restaurant Luigi's NHP for the Super Bowl. The Harrison provided us with 10 of their incredible smash burgers and a tray of their amazing homemade Mac and cheese! They were so sweet to accommodate making the burgers with just cheese and providing the sauce and veggies on the side. My kids went crazy for the burgers especially. The Mac and cheese was delicious too and I really loved the mezze rigatoni as the pasta used. Everyone I corresponded with from the restaurant was also so nice. Thank you so much for the food!

The Harrison at UBS Arena seriously exceeded expectations. We ordered the burger, which features a Pat LaFrieda proprietary double-stacked blend, smashed and fully dressed with American cheese on a brioche bun. While it was a little disappointing that there were no add-ons available, since the burgers are made in batches and placed on the counter for grab-and-go that minor drawback was quickly forgotten after the first bite. This was easily one of the best burgers I've ever had. Juicy, flavorful, perfectly smashed, and incredibly satisfying. My husband agreed so wholeheartedly that he finished the entire thing without hesitation. Always the ultimate endorsement. The burger also comes with a side of French fries, which were just as delicious. Crisp, well-seasoned, and a perfect complement. For arena food, The Harrison is on another level. If you're at UBS Arena and craving a standout burger, this is an absolute must.

The moment I walked in, the ambiance felt very fancy and busy! The food turned out to be okay, nothing different or special to be honest, what I really noticed is that the places were packed by brunch time on a Sunday so be mindful of that! The service was fast, we sat at the bar so we had the server/bartender all the time! Overall, the place left me feeling satisfied and I'd maybe consider coming back for a private event. They had a separate room for it and it looked pretty fancy in my opinion!

The Harrison is so good that I came for a sit down dinner and then returned a few days later to watch the game at the bar! The inside is beautiful and spacious with a warm modern atmosphere that's perfect whether you're enjoying dinner or having drinks with friends maybe even catching a game. There's also parking available which makes visiting even more convenient. The atmosphere is a total vibe the espresso martinis are delicious and the service is always amazing 10/10 every time. The staff is attentive, friendly, and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in.As for the food the sushi platter is excellent and definitely shareable. One of my favorite entrees is the Le Poulet a Cajun chicken dish with Chablis beurre blanc. I usually swap the fries for their soft and creamy mashed potatoes which are so worth it. The complimentary bread they bring to the table is also delicious and the zucchini and eggplant chips are a must try appetizer. But the absolute star of the show? The Kobe meatballs. They were so incredible that I had to order a second round! You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Highly recommend!

How much are cocktails? No prices listed on the menu pics.

    Pricey but very good.

Has anyone ever done a party/team dinner for 40-50 people here?

I've hosted a large dinner party, about 20 people. But we ordered a la carte. And on many occasions, I've seen folks host birthday's and wedding showers or baby showers. They do a good job. They have catering options too.

How is the parking for the Harrison?

There's street parking and a small parking lot across the way. I've never had a problem.

Is this walking distance to the ubs arena?

There is a LIRR train you can take from Floral Park ( right across the street from Harrison's) to The Elmont UBS stop. It's two stations west

What is the dress attire for here?

    Casual or Bussiness

Do they play sports on the TVs by the bar? Could you come here to watch the NBA finals?

I ordered chicken and waffles from the brunch menu which was supposed to come with chicken breast but the server placed the order from main menu, which instead offered wings. The cook came from the kitchen with a very unfriendly demeanor to let me know that she already dropped the chicken and pretty much implied that I would be getting the wings as she already started cooking them. I informed her I will take the wings. However, I still ended up getting the chicken breast tenders. The server offered to make one of the guests, a custom drink, and it was very heavy with rum and was not mixed well as the drink separated shortly after receiving it. All guests ordered a meal from the brunch menu along with a glass of ginger ale. However, we were charged for the drinks, even though it was supposed to be unlimited with brunch. I did not catch that until I got home and realized the drinks were charged separately. (yes we were within the 90 minute limit.) Additionally, only three out of the four ginger ale's came out. She took so long to bring the last one that the guest just declined it as we were almost finished eating. One of the guests ordered French toast with sausage but received bacon instead she also ordered the macaroni and cheese with bacon at the same time and the server did not bring it out. She had to be reminded and he came out very late. The macaroni and cheese was not good. It had the appearance of being cooked in a rush. There were big pieces of bacon in it versus the typical smaller bits the cheese was very dry One of the guest ordered the snapper, but the server returned a few minutes later to inform us that they are out of snapper. Be aware that gratuity was automatically included for a party of four. That might explain the not so good service as there is no incentive to do better.

I had the tea experience with Black Velvet and it was just what I needed. I'll admit that the licorice and peppermint were very faint, but it was still a tasty tea and sharing a large pot with my partner, we finished the whole thing. My MIL loved her ginger peach tea, and my friends each enjoyed theirs, one getting his go-to peppermint and the other trying the red raspberry and remarking in how pleased she was with her choice. Lesson learned- if you come here and DON'T get tea (with the adorable teapot, teacup and saucer, all charmingly mismatched) you're doing it wrong. Because I'm weird, I just ordered the Irish soda bread with a dish of whipped cream as a "light" breakfast, and I appreciated that the server humored me to the fullest. My partner had a blueberry muffin that he was super pleased with, probably his favorite that he's found in the area so far. My MIL unabashedly devoured her chicken salad sandwich and the potato salad it came with - usually she's picky so that's quite the endorsement. The avocado toast and burger that my friends ordered all looked fantastic too. Great service, delicious food and tea, and very good prices- next visit will be for the live music!

The new hostess and the greeting by Phillipe could not have made us feel any more welcome. We were offered a choice of seating and while we love the look and feel of the back patio it was a bit too cool and breezy out there.... We decided to sit in the front room as it is generally quieter and more low key. There were many larger groups with celebrations and you could see they were all having a good time. Our waiter Luis, came and introduced himself, brought our menus and inquired about water, drinks, etc. We told him we wanted only pumpernickel rolls: they are warm, fresh out of the oven and truly addictive. Our waters and my white Zinfandel arrived shortly thereafter. Our fresh goat cheese salad arrived with the raspberry vinaigrette and as always it was carefully divided. Luis came to check on everything as he and other staff members ( both members who we know through dining here repeatedly over the years) and new additions. Everyone always treats you like family. Very good pacing of the meal.... Nice and leisurely, not rushed but no long breaks between courses. Then our main dishes arrived. My husband had the pappardelle with mixed seafood, no sausage- plentiful and loaded with flavor. I get the shrimp a La Rodos.... 5 very nice sized shrimp with with lots of diced fresh tomatoes and feta cheese, served with my 2 favorite side dishes- mashed potatoes and beets.... All YUMMY and very generous portions. My husband's Stella Artois arrives in a nice cold glass with the main dish, as requested. Luis again checks on everything and then shortly thereafter we get the surprise of the evening. Peter, the new owner stops by and chats with us. It was a pleasure to meet him: we are sure he is very busy running back and forth between his two restaurants. and making sure that everything is going smoothly. We had a lot to talk about. Well, he has a tough act to follow but so far the food, service and hospitality are still 5 star !!! We ended our meal on a high note. A FABULOUS meal has to end on a sweet note. We were offered about 5 or 6 dessert choices. We selected the chocolate mousse cake. A rich, creamy sweet conclusion to a superb meal served by a warm, caring staff. Everyone including Luis, Felipe and the new hostess gave us a fond Farewell on the way out. We eagerly look forward to returning after their vacation at the beginning of August !! Most of what came out of the kitchen was diner quality at best--nothing special, but not offensive. The duck, however, was a disaster. It tasted old and stale, like it had been sitting in a freezer for months before being rushed through a fryer. The meat was fried to a dry, brittle crisp, and the only flavor came from a cloying sweet duck sauce slapped on top. No richness, no tenderness, no redeeming qualities. We absolutely hated our meal and the entire time we spent there. I can't recommend this place to anyone who actually cares about what they eat.
