The service here was great - I came for a friend's birthday and they made it extra special with her name printed on the menu & a yummy birthday dessert. Our server was also super friendly and frequently came by to check in on us. The food was decent - I especially liked how juicy the chicken in my friend's sandwich was. The bucatini was also good but as a warning very spicy (we were rightfully warned by our server). The space itself is very large and has an open kitchen concept - it'd be great for large groups but also cozy enough at the tables for smaller groups.

What a delicious time! Coming off the highway and selecting a a farm to table spot, J knew I grabbed a great space for my family to dine. All of the dishes had to be ordered all at once, as it is 'small batch', and our server was very helpful and attentive. My only suggestion is to provide a small carb portion for the Fluke dish, and a butter basting of the fish would have helped it stay moist and not dry. I wouldn't depend on the broth to do this. Oh! Also, the Palomas have the perfect amount of grapefruit juice!

I visited small batch on a Monday evening, it was quite empty for the most part. The service was fair and the food was good overall, I think it has a nice atmosphere. I enjoyed the espresso martini, I thought the octopus tasted good but was a bit pricey for how much they give, and my friend enjoyed her salmon. Overall I think it could be worth trying!

Came in the other day and was surprised to see how beautiful the inside is. Small batch is beautifully decorated inside and has excellent service. For appetizers we had Mac and cheese and the eggplant parm. I felt the Mac and cheese lacked in flavor, I'm not sure what it was missing. I almost felt the same about the eggplant parm app, maybe salt? The eggplant was actually breaded perfectly but coming from my own mom's eggplant parm, this just didn't hit nearly the same. I had the steak frites, while the fries were great and i think the ketchup was homemade or had a twist to it that was great, I again felt like something was missing from the flavor of the steak. My boyfriend had the chicken paillard but I didn't try it. He said it was okay. The star of the meal was the children's cheeseburger, as per my boyfriend's son, they do it the best. All in all, as long as he has a good meal, we are satisfied and he loves this restaurant so who knows, perhaps we'll be back.

Great fresh food and awesome cocktails. The portion size was amazing. Our waiter was so sweet.

Service was outstanding. Restaurant had great ambience and a cool vibe. Eggplant appetizer was outstanding while veal meatball and a pasta dish ok. Dessert was also only ok. Would go back but order something completely different (still get the banger eggplant appetizer).

This restaurant has such a cozy yet elevated feel. Car for dinner on a Saturday and our reservation was honored, the service was good and the food was just okay. We had the wings, which were a large and tasty portion, the wagyu burger, and the seafood pasta. We split a lava cake for dinner but that was underwhelming.

Small Batch continues to deliver that elevated yet cozy Long Island dining experience. The dishes are simple at first glance, but so beautifully executed. We started with the seared fish topped with crispy breadcrumbs -- perfectly golden on the outside, tender on the inside, and served over a bed of buttery, gently wilted greens that added the perfect freshness to each bite. Clean, balanced, and so well-seasoned. The pasta was another standout: hand-cut, rustic ribbons tossed in a vibrant green pesto that tasted bright, herby, and full of texture. The sauce coated every piece without overpowering it, and the little hit of cheese on top tied everything together. Thoughtful flavors, great portions, and a kitchen that clearly cares -- Small Batch remains one of the most consistently good spots around.

Wow! What a cute place. Nicely decorated, simple yet modern. The restaurant is also very clean. We came here on a whim to try something new with the kids. I always love an open kitchen in a restaurant too. Kids menu had good choices as well. A bit more pricey than your typical kids menu, but the quality is there. Services was kind and attentive, and there weren't many people dining the night we went. If we were locals this would be more of a usual spot, but well worth the drive on occasion, especially if in the area. A nice spot to check out either with friends, family, a date, and you can feel comfortable bringing the kids as well. A win!

The food was very good and healthy. I love how the kitchen is an open space so you can watch them Cooking your food almost. I went very early in the day during the week so the service was great & very fast.

I don't know why I didn't come here sooner. This restaurant is absolutely amazing. Every single bite of everything my family and I had made us go "mmmmm". This restaurant over exceeded my expectations on brunch. I will definitely be back again and will totally recommend it to everyone.

The only good thing about this place was the music and the place was pretty inside. My waffles were raw and the food was just not good in general. The waiter also was so clearly in a rush and uncaring. My brother ordered a side of eggs and they didn't come out until we were already done eating bc the waiter forgot. Would not come back

Came here for brunch. Parking was easy. When we walked in they asked if we had reservations. Im assuming it is best to make reservations before you go? We did not have any reservations but were seated immediately. The menu had a lot of options from burgers to healthier options. The food was very fresh. The waiter was very attentive to my daughter. They gave out huge portions of French fries. The ginger mocktail was surprisingly refreshing. Overall, I would come back. It is a cute little restaurant with farm to table vibes.

Anyway, for the tacos: we got the mojo pork carnitas, pork belly, sesame ribeye, roasted duck, crispy shrimp & baja fish. We also got the duck birria quesadilla, plantains, korean bbq ribeye rice bowl & ahi tuna crispy rice bowl, a side of esquites (street corn off cob) & the seasonal fruit (honeydew) with tajin. All the food came out together so it took a long while. They were obviously short staffed. The pork belly & pork carnitas tacos were our faves- both were flavorful & the pork belly skin was crispy. The shrimp & fish tacos were perfectly fried. The ribeye & roasted duck taco meat were dry. The duck birria quesadilla was really good even tho the broth was a little bland. Corn was spicy yet tasty, we enjoyed the sweet fried plantains too. The rice bowls were disappointing- way too much sauce in the ahi tuna bowl, which made everything very salty & the crispy rice became soggy, and the Korean bbq ribeye was dry & tough- it's basically just a bibimbap. I don't recommend getting rice bowls at a taco place lol. The worst thing was the seasonal fruit with tajin that my daughter ordered. The honeydew was not riped nor sweet but rather flavorless & tasted sour with the tajin & lime juice- disgusting :x

Normally, I don't start a review on a negative but after we left and counting up all the missteps, I felt off. My wife is more forgiving, she liked the Frito Misto and Bolognese. It's hard to believe this was a BBQ spot a few years ago. The glass garage door is still in place, back in the day it was enjoyable during the spring. There's a reason why it's called Sparrow Cocktails. I ordered the Smoked Old Fashioned. Made with Angel's Envy Bourbon and wood smoked chips, this was a great cocktail before dinner. The Frito Misto had a delicate coating, it wasn't overly battered. The green dipping sauce served on the side was bland. It didn't add to the dish and was thin. The Malfalde Bolognese was a hearty portion, we were able to share this large dish between the two of us. Made with beef, veal and pork and simmered in San Marzono tomatoes, this entree satisfies all my pasta cravings. I was looking for some grated cheese, none was offered.. The Back Sea Bass special, IMHO we should have passed. My wife asked about bones and was told they de-bone the fish table side. Overall, we found many of the dishes to be overly salty and oily. I ordered the rib sandwich and was disappointed because it wasn't what I expected. My son ordered the stuff Nutella French Toast and ended up sending them back. The eggs he was served were also quite salty. My daughter did not enjoy her burger, which was unusually thick and difficult to eat as prepared. My wife finished her meal, but she did not find it particularly enjoyable and felt the portion size was too small for the price. I think part of the issue may have been the limited Father's Day brunch menu. Had there been more options available, we might have found dishes that better suited our tastes. Additionally, dessert was not included in the package, which was somewhat disappointing. While the atmosphere and service were definite positives, the food did not meet our expectations.
