We were excited to find a hookah bar out in Long Island especially one with such highly rated Yelp reviews. We normally go to spots in Queens in forest hills, astoria or fresh meadows but with half of our group living on the island we decided to visit this spot. Throughout the time there we were met with disappointment and frustration one after another. I dropped my ID and CC with them and ordered some beers, old fashions and a blue mist hookah. The old fashions were described as terrible from my friends and the glass was mostly filled with ice. The hookah price is fair at $20 but the flavor was weaker than other places. We then ordered more drinks, chips and salsa, a second flavor of hookah and additional coal for the blue mist. The chips never came and the coal took maybe 30 minutes to come after flagging the servers down a few more times. With only 3 workers in the front it's impossible to get any service or attention. The only thing that we enjoyed was the music and the live dj. When it came to the bill we waited another 30-45 minutes from the time we asked for it to the time we were out the door. They say yes but never return with the bill. We then got charged for the wrong bill under my cc and they had to go through voiding it and recharging my card for the correct bill. However the void caused issues with my card so we had to use another persons cc. Overall, we came in excited but left disappointed. We spent most of our time waiting for service, didn't receive our chips, and didn't think the drinks or hookah were worth the visit. We really wanted to love this spot but don't see ourselves coming back again.

Best drinks and hookah The drinks were amazing and the hookah was also great and was going all night. Keep in mind it's cash only but this place is so good. Highly recommend!

The place was easily found. Street parking was available. I was immediately seated at my reserved seating area. The drinks and hookah were great. Price range was affordable and the dj accommodated the crowd. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Small and intimate setting. Comfortable. The music is very eclectic. Ranging from Punjabi to reggae to hip hop. Difficult to catch a vibe. Wait staff does not visit frequently. This establishment is also cash only.

Have stopped by Le Caire lounge on a few occasions for a hookah and drinks. I like the ambiance and the vibe of this place. They have a one up on all the surrounding hookah businesses because ..... they actually have a full bar! Service is good, music is usually good and I feel that the hookah is on par with typical public hookah.

What a cool spot! Delicious hookah, great beverages and don't even get me started on the chicken tenders! My date and I have been here 2s this past week, and Indira, sabrina, and jules have been very attentive to us. Its the kind of spot a regular wd call home while an out of towner would still enjoy. Try the bahama mama flavor tobacco, man that relaxed me!... this spot seems to be a well kept secret, im almost sorry to give it away :)

The best hookah bar in Long Island @le_caire

Well, that day finally came, and I'm so glad it did! First off, the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The ambiance alone makes it feel like a special night out. Our waitress, Milessa, was amazing, super friendly, attentive, and very professional. She really added to the experience. We tried three different menu items. While two of them were a little too spicy for my personal taste, the sliders were my favorite, full of flavor and perfectly done. And I can't forget dessert, the warm pecan pie with ice cream was absolutely delicious and the perfect way to end the meal. Overall, a great experience with excellent service and a gorgeous setting. So, I saw her post on 2/5 and scooped up my plus one and rushed over. Wow! I was mesmerized by the view. The place was busy with beautiful fixtures draping the ceiling while soft jazz like tones filled the space. Sheer luxurious, elegance, extravagant, you name it. I see an upscale establishment with a cosmopolitan vibe. Stepping inside this magnificent place gave an entirely different dining experience for me. As we entered, I asked was there a reservation needed because it just looks like you need reservation. We were greeted and seated. Melissa was our waitress. Poised and attentive was she. She was fantastic, she introduced herself by name. Our food. Sriracha Chicken Spring Roll- $22- pulled chicken, Bayley Hazen blue cheese, Vermont cheddar, Buffalo sriracha, wonton rapper. Kobe Beef Sliders- $25- American Wagyu, whiskey smoked caramelized onions, fontina cheese, bacon jam. Gochujang wings- $19 Korean spices, toasted sesame seeds, scallions The wings and spring rolls were spicey to my desire, very tasty, and the wings were huge and filling. Took some home. The sliders were a bit dry and too much bun, but they have other items, I would gladly return .... Inspire more, Yelp more!

But just then the lights dimmed and I was encouraged to find my seat and three voices began to swell from the stage. A tepid applause as Dave Davies took to the stage, now a man of 70 with a kinky (hence the name) fuschia cloak, blazing with the brilliance of a new star. Songs sung sounded sad, brief bouts of grief perhaps -- with a voice growing stronger with each next pretty ditty from a newly released album. Dave Davies spoke words of love and friendship and their importance to each and everyone of us. His choice of encore was his first song that brother Ray wrote the bridge for. It was a most beautiful and memorable performance -- Death a Clown. Our second dish, the ropa vieja, was again just okay and had a noticeable sweetness to it--possibly from the peppers. The drinks were decent, and the place features a dance floor, giving it more of a nightlife vibe than a traditional sit-down restaurant. Tucked into a chic Garden City corner with floor to ceiling windows that flood the room with golden hour glow, this gem radiates modern romance, white marble tables gleaming under crystal chandeliers, olive branches bursting from sleek vases, and a living green wall that climbs the back bar like an edible vineyard. The ambience is pure upscale elegance with a heartbeat, soft jazz piano drifting over the clink of Negroni glasses, exposed wine cellars glowing with Super Tuscans, and velvet banquettes the color of eggplant parm that hug you like Nonna at Sunday supper. Candles flicker in mercury glass, the open kitchen fires pizzas in a blazing copper dome that sends waves of basil and San Marzano perfume, and the marble topped raw bar glistens with crudo towers that look too pretty to eat, until you do. It is lively yet intimate, perfect for power lunches or proposal dinners, the kind of place where solo diners feel like VIPs and groups feel like they own the room. The cuisine is a symphony of seasonal Italian genius that had my fork dancing the tarantella from the first bite to the final limoncello drop. We launched with the burrata special, a creamy orb split tableside over heirloom tomatoes so juicy they burst like summer fireworks, draped in 25 year balsamic and peppery arugula that sang harmony. The octopus carpaccio arrived shaved paper thin, citrus kissed and tender as a first kiss, dotted with Calabrian chile oil that added just enough heat to wake the palate. For pasta, the cacio e pepe was wheeled out on a cheese cart, tossed in a hollowed Pecorino wheel until the strands glistened like silk, pepper popping like tiny firecrackers. My branzino was filleted tableside, skin crisped to bronze perfection, lounging over lemony caponata and roasted fingering potatoes that soaked up every drop of Ligurian olive oil. The veal Milanese towered like a golden cathedral, pounded thin and fried to shattering crunch, perched atop a rocket salad that cut the richness like a sports car on a coastal road. Pizza from the dome? The tartufata arrived blistered and leopard spotted, blanketed in fontina, wild mushrooms, and shaved black truffle that perfumed the air like a Tuscan forest after rain. Desserts sealed the romance, the tiramisu deconstructed in a martini glass with espresso soaked ladyfingers, mascarpone clouds, and cocoa dust that melted into pure joy, while the bomboloni trio arrived hot and sugared, oozing Nutella, pistachio, and passionfruit like edible lava lamps. Portions are generous yet refined, prices feel like a Roman holiday steal ($28 to $52 entrees), and the wine list is a 300 bottle love letter to Italy with a Barolo vertical that paired like destiny. Service was the Michelin worthy encore, a masterclass in hospitality that turned strangers into insiders before the bread basket hit the table. Our server Luca greeted us with a megawatt smile and a complimentary prosecco toast "because beautiful nights deserve beautiful beginnings," then guided us through the menu like a Roman tour guide, suggesting the perfect Vermentino to slice through the octopus acidity. He timed courses with Ferrari precision, bread refilled warm and rosemary flecked before we noticed it empty, and when I mentioned a dairy sensitivity he orchestrated cashew based tiramisu without missing a beat. The sommelier swooped in with a Super Tuscan flight decanted tableside with theatrical flair, while the chef patron emerged to present the truffle pizza shaved live like black diamond snow. Water glasses stayed topped like the Trevi Fountain, plates cleared ninja style, and the manager glided by in a tailored suit to gift us housemade limoncello shots "for the stroll home, or the Uber, we celebrate both." Every staff member radiated genuine warmth, remembering our names, celebrating an engagement with a sparkler topped affogato, and turning dinner into a memory we will replay like a favorite Fellini film. Novita is a five star sanctuary where Italian soul, sensational flavors, and service that spoils you silly collide in a burst of pure delight.
