We ordered: Chai Mango Lassi Chicken Tikka Fries Chicken Zinger Burger Margarita Pizza Chicken & Shrimp Platter Lava Cake Fried Oreo My favorite was the chicken burger! It was so tasty with that sauce! I also enjoyed the hookah! All in all a good experience! read more

Al Nar is a solid hookah lounge in the neighborhood. All hookah start at $35. Ordered the Lychee Paan hookah and it was really good. The chicken salad was well seasoned and good portion for $9. The service was average in my opinion. They have cards and other board games available to use. The music wasn't super which is a plus for me. No alcohol at this spot. The only con was the 22% service charge added to the bill. read more

I have no complaints about this place. I ordered the appetizer sampler which came with fries, wings, mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers, and jalapeno poppers. Then for dessert Oreo cheesecake. To drink I got ginger ale. They don't sell alcohol. I ordered a hookah. The hookah was very smooth and they replaced the coal repeatedly without being asked. They have board games you can play at your table. There was music playing but not too loud. You can still talk without screaming. There's also flat screen TVs hanging on the walls. I would definitely come back here. read more

Hookah Me! I must admit I'm a fan of the Shisha!! Popped in here on a Saturday afternoon and it was empty! There was one other table occupied while I was there. We came in, weren't greeted and sat ourselves. After sitting for a few an employee came over and took our order. Silly me not realizing this was an alcohol free establishment. When we placed our mojito offers my BF asked for a virgin and the employee stated they don't serve alcohol. I was shocked and disappointed. Moving on to the guava mojito it was way too sweet. As for my hookah I went with Love 66. At first it was way too harsh so I had the employee adjust it a few times until it was tolerable. The ambiance is cute.... Neon signs, nice seating, and ok music. Another Yelp bookmark down! read more

Al Nar has been a spot that is led by amazing people who main focus is making Customers Happy. I have been to many Hookah Lounge and few have impressed me and one of them being Al Nar. First and foremost, it's a Hookah Lounge, so Hookah needs to be on point, and although at times it has been a miss but they make up for it right away but adjusting to your liking, which I love however mostly Hookah i have tried here are of good quality and smooth flavors! 2nd for me is food and everytime we have went , the food has been pretty good. Everyone loved their Mango Harbarnero Wings, Shrimp dishes were delicious and people loved the Mango Bubble Tea and their Mojitos Last but not least for me is Customer Service and for that I would say if you come along and have Chris as your Server , your all set. He's super amazing and very helpful in ensuring your taken care off I think having Chris in this Lounge is an Asset for Al Nar. I would end it with this, make sure you tip well if the service are good. read more

Yes it was okay when there packed not enough people to provide good service.but they are trying I guess.

Literally would not ever come back in my life because no one likes places that hide a service fee charge in the bill (17%) like at least give a warning because how did my 78$ bill become a 123$ because i added a 20% tip... The food was mid and the drinks were way too sweet but it was really busy. We didnt do hookah but I'm sure the hookah has to be good because it was packed read more

The perfect spot for hookah, halal food & drinks for date night! You have to try the guava mojitos (even the non-alcoholic was amazing), desi burger, fried Oreos and chicken biryani. I came to this establishment a couple weeks ago and I cannot wait to go back already! I came on a Thursday night it was pretty empty and we were quickly seated. Not so long of a way before a waiter approached us and we placed our order. We ordered some sweet chili wings, nachos and mocktails (liquor isn't served here). Everything was top-tier definitely 10 out of 10! My favorites definitely was the guava Mojito and the sweet chili wings. I can't wait to go back to try their burgers and dessert (especially the fried Oreos!) lastly we got a hookah which was the cherry on top to the great evening. read more

I came here with my friend last night, and as soon as we walked in we got a fume of a musty, sweaty & garlicky smell that hit our nose. We stayed for about 15 mins then realized this wasn't the crowd for us. One star because we got bottled water and not tap water, won't be returning read more

This spot is so bomb. Ravi the waiter is so awesome. He's so kind, attentive and makes this place a gem to be at! The hookah is great and the fried Oreos are a must have. Overall one of the best options for hookah + halal food in queens! read more

This establishment was delightful, the menu was really diverse, the hookah for sure was by far top 5 in hookah bars in nyc , the service was nothing less then a 1000 and the music was a plus , it's game night friendly and it could turn into a romantic cute date night idea , the decor is so pretty very well put together. 10/10 read more

This place is absolutely perfect during weekdays, if you want to Hang our after work or just want to smoke some hookah. You get the best of both from 4-8pm which their happy hours. The place has a dark hookah lounge vibe with a very neat and clean decor. Although they can use some signage on the outside because at first I thought it was closed. However it was open and lively. The music and sound was awesome, not too loud and not too dim. Bathrooms were also clean. Food: We ordered 1 hookah, with an appetizer and an entree. For the hookah we had Rose, pan and mint flavor which came out strong and smooth (smooth towards the end, strong at First). For food: had their appetizer sampler, which included wings, fries, jalapeño poppers and mozzarella sticks. The wings we ordered Buffalo and mango habanero, the sauces were perfect but the wings were a wee bit on the cold side. I also ordered a Monster Burger and as the name suggests it was huge, with a double pattie, cheese, turkey bacon and all the other ingredients lol. It filled me up and was deliciously well presented. Customer service: No stone left unturned, everyone was very friendly and active. Prices: were very reasonable $17.99 during happy hour for a hookah and an appetizer and then $12 for the Monster Burger which also included fries. I would recommend this place and definitely go back. read more

The hookah and the service is THE BEST IN THE AREA! The hookah is always on point and so are the flavors. The staff here is always attentive! Over all the hookah lounges I've been too (including all in Steinway) this place is hands down perfect. The food even tastes so good! Their nachos, quesadillas, WINGS, falooda and fries have been great every time! Great for any type of night from friends to a date! Highly recommend read more

Love the spot . Dope hookah flavors , my favorite seems to be Pista Kulfi . What I like about this lounge is that, they seem to be very consistent with the hookah. I haven't had a bad experience yet !! Hookah always is on point , it doesn't take that's long to come out . Also , they seem to be always stacked up with flavors. Never been a "sorry we don't have that flavor today" moment . Chill vibes and live DJ on the Weekends!!! They got a great happy hour everyday for 3pm to 8pm , any flavor hookah with a free appetizer for just 18$. Been to a lot of lounges and haven't seen this good of a deal before. I have also tried their food , it's actually pretty good . They have 3 tacos for just $5.99. Ambience - 9/10 Service - 10/10 WiFi - Yes Parking - Street read more

One of my favorite lounges in queens!!! Super cute and clean, really spacious too. The hookah is great( I recommend the green goblin) , and the food is amazing; the shrimp tacos, Parmesan garlic wings are my favorites. Some of the best tacos I've had ever! Been here twice . Both times did not disappoint. Very much a hole in the wall but I find that those are usually the best places to go . The food and drinks were amazing. The ambiance is pretty nice and they have some of the best fries I've ever had (no joke) , I even finished them before my wings came out. Ultimately I am giving them 5 stars because the food and the vibes were spectacular. However , just a few things I noticed/questioned . It's almost impossible to tell that the lounge is open at times especially at night because they don't have a neon or illuminated sign outside . THEY DO NOT SERVE ALCOHOL. And another thing, when I went the 2nd time, it was two days before Christmas so I wanted to call to make sure they were open. I called about 10 times before someone finally answered the phone on the 10th call. Wasn't too happy that it took them so long to answer the phone but nonetheless, I was happy to know that they were home. Overall, it was a good experience and I'll definitely keep coming back . read more

I've heard nothing but good things about this lounge, so I walked in with high expectations. Unfortunately this place was a total let down. When we walked in, we were greeted by a server who brought us our menu and sat us down. From here on after it was so difficult for us to track any server down. It took a long time for us to place our initial order, and then if we wanted anything else, we had to wait even longer. There were some guys sitting down a few seats away from us who seemed to be friends with the servers, these people got exceptional service and had their coals changed frequently, which was even more frustrating. We got the Mango Paan Hookah and boneless wings for $18.99 (which is the happy hour price), and we also got an order of chicken quesadillas. The food was amazing, and the hookah was only good for 20 minutes. It had a thick and smooth pull and tasted good for only a short amount of time. We were left with bad hookah, and absolutely no one to complain about it to. Lastly when we became sick of the tasteless hookah and horrible service we asked for the bill. Miraculously, the service was on point when it came time for us to pay. The server who brought us the bill stood on top of us while we gave him the credit card AND when we were signing the receipts. The most horrible experience I've had at a hookah lounge in a while. I don't recommend this place at all. read more

This place is a hidden gem in the heart of New Hyde Park. Super friendly atmosphere alongside great music. On Friday and Saturday it does get really busy however service is on point. Hookah, food, and drinks are great since they always have something new to give out. Being that the prices are close to Steinway pricing, they don't skimp out on the quality which is great. It's mostly a Desi & Spanish crowd as well too. Ask for Faisal & Aqdas, to accommodate all your needs. The quality of food is beyond anyone's expectations. Come try their Mexican Chicken Wrap along with a chai. Definitely come give it shot! read more

Best lounge in queens as of yet. Hookah pulls better here then anywhere else & there service is on point. Sometimes can be slow, but they do get busy so you can't blame them and they always make an effort to make sure you're satisfied. For the food the burger or the grilled sandwich is my favorite. Let's be honest there's no better hookah session unless you have chai. I'd point one person out to go to in the lounge, but to be honest their entire staff is awesome & very kind. Recommend the following flavors: hamzilla, sweet cocaine; and moon rock. If you ever have an issue at Al Nar just let them know & trust me they'll take care of it if there's an issue. Just wish the chai was better though. read more

Make sure you thoroughly review your check when they bring it to you. They added $15 to our extremely overprice $35 hookah to make it $50. They come by with a handheld credit card machine and try to not let you review the numbers. It's all a game. They then give themselves a 22.5% tip ON TOP OF THE TOTAL INCLUDING TAX. Thieves. Like I said, if you decide to go here and get ripped off, watch your totals. read more

Honestly the hookah is good but for some reason I feel like all the flavors taste the same here like paan masala. I ordered the snow cone flavor which is suppose to taste like a mix fruit but it didn't. My friend ordered a fruity flavor and she told me her tasted the same as mine. It's just strange but aside from that it was a good experience. Oh and the masala chai was bomb. read more

First of all the hookah are so damn expensive; places in the city with views don't even charge this much. My two friends and I came our bill was well over $150.
