Stopped into Oasis Cafe and grabbed a burger and it really hit the spot. The burger was juicy, cooked right, and you could tell it was fresh. Nothing overly fancy, just a really solid burger done the right way. The bun held up well and everything tasted balanced without being greasy. Service was friendly and quick and the place has a relaxed neighborhood vibe. Sometimes you just want a good burger without a lot of nonsense, and this definitely delivered. Walking into The Oasis Diner was a bit confusing. There's a bakery at the entrance. The bakery items looks so delicious but I need a full breakfast. The reason I decided to give a review on the appearance is because I think the establishment of as some fine qualities, which I did mention. I do think improvements are needed that would most definitely influence me to dine in would be, having a clean table to sit at. I said to my plus one, you picked the dirtiest table to sit at. We sat at a cleaner table as the staff member places the scannable menu on the table. I picked the menu up to bring it closer and there was a long strand of hair. I immediately came to the conclusion that if they do couldn't keep hair off of the table, the may not be able to keep hair out of the food. My first time at Oasis and I enjoyed the experience. There was not a long wait to be seated the hostess was friendly. The ambiance is nice good music. The waitress promptly came to the table with ice water and took our orders. We ordered sweet and spicy buffalo wings, ice matcha latte, and a Mediterranean kiss for drinks. The food and drinks where good. Wings had alot of flavor and the drinks are not watered down. Went to eat at Oasis after a buy one get one free entree coupon came up on TLife which led us to Entertainment which listed Oasis and voila our coupon. Ordered our food and let the waiter know about the coupon. He had no idea what it was and then the manager came over to ask to see the coupon. Then she came back again and took a picture of the coupon. And then she came back a third time to tell us that she sent the coupon to the owner and the owner didn't know what it was and they would not honor the coupon. She told me that the owner said that it was the previous owner who put up this ad and they had nothing to do with it. To be honest we have lived here for over 20 years and Oasis is a neighborhood restaurant. If it wasn't for this coupon I would not have known that they have regular food at this place. I always thought it was a cafe and dessert place. We ordered chicken breast and our chicken quesadilla and a Greek salad entree to serve as the appetizer. So basically we had three entrees. The owner could have honored the coupon and at least have given us the salad on the house. But instead the manager offered dessert on the house as a show of good faith. To be perfectly honest I really didn't want dessert. I would have rather have just had the salad on the house but it was probably not her call. The food was ok, nothing great. We had a pleasant experience here for brunch today. I really like the outdoor seating area. There was plenty of shade so it wasn't super hot. We had the margarita pizza to share. I had the 718 sandwich with truffle fries and I really enjoyed it. The girls also ordered the chicken quesadilla and wings, and they liked their food as well. I also really like their coffee, it was frothy and delicious. I am so glad they extended their food menu and I would love to try other items on their menu next time, like their pastas! Hidden gem in my neighborhood. This cafe is super cute, extensive menu. A little pricey but everything was very good. The outdoor area is a tropical oasis, feels like you're on vacation and not on Northern Blvd. Service was a little slow, there was only 1 waitress on a busy Friday afternoon. The pizza was a large shareable portion, 718 panini was very tasty, I ordered medium and it was a little over cooked. Nutella crepe was huge and delicious. Hosted a birthday party here. Would not recommend and would never do it again. George was completely incompetent and inattentive. Reserved area was dirty, and actually being used by other patrons well into our reserved time to set up and decorate. My guests and I had to basically run after him to get refills and none of the tables were served their meals on time, which made the event run even later. I couldn't even enjoy the event as much because I had to run after basically nonexistent staff to request items that should've already been on the table, such as utensils and food. George then became defensive about his poor service and actually over charged me, so no I would not recommend and would never trust him to host an event of mine again. read more

I went on a Wednesday afternoon and decided to sit in the back since it was pretty empty. We ordered two coffees, which were mediocre at best. The waitress never checked in on us, and when we asked for the check, it took about 10 minutes to get it and another 20 minutes before she came back to pick it up. Eventually, we had to walk up to the counter and pay ourselves. We chose not to leave a tip because she barely served us. the only thing she did properly was take our order. To make matters worse, after seeing the no tip, she sarcastically said, "Wow, thank you for the tip." I have never encountered a more unprofessional or rude waitress. I love when you go to a local place and it lives up to the social media aesthetics hype. I came to Oasis with a friend to have drinks and dinner. The vibe is 100 percent Mediterranean by the water relaxation. Decor is amazing and drink and food presentation were great. You'll definitely get the picture you want here. Service is okay, they don't rush you so that's nice. I tried the halloumi (fried cheese) which I've never had before. It was pretty good as an appetizer. The Greek Salad and Chicken Souvlaki were as expected, nothing special. I really enjoyed the white sangria. It was great to sip on while chit chatting. Ordered their Spanikopita Spinach pie several times and it doesn't ever disappoint with it's perfect flaky delicate crust. I love their packaging with their logo and everything is always packaged so securely. The last time I ordered their strawberry tres leches cake and a Brown Sugar Oatmilk Freddo Espresso w/Cinnamon. For a quieter laid back cafe experience, stay in the front. Lots of fresh goodies in those display cases which I drool over. Given I'm usually stopping in with my kids in town, we're always buying the cupcakes and cheesecake. The tirimisu is a classic favorite as are the Greek cookies by the piece. This visit was with my friend post dinner so drinks were in order and something sweet. She got the Greek galaktoboureko and I ordered an assortment of cookies by the piece and a mini cannoli. The one thing I had to order on top of this, the Affogato. Delectable - scoop of plain vanilla ice cream drowned in a shot of espresso. My favorite. Value wise, Oasis Cafe has better value than Martha's Country Bakery. I would definitely come back for the Napoleon cake. However the three other cakes/desserts we tried are not great. I had always came for brunch but decided to come for dinner on a Saturday night. There was over an hour wait but we decided to wait. Their outside patio area is more beautiful at night than during the day. They have string lights all over which gives the outside area a fun and elegant ambiance. I ordered chicken souvlaki with a Cesar salad and their espresso martini. Their martini was ok but tasted too much like orange which threw me off. I then ordered their Lolita drink which was delicious; it was sweet and refreshing. The Cesar salad with pita and tzatziki sauce was that but their chicken skewers lacked so much flavor. I had to drown the chunks of chicken to give it any type of flavor. Our server was ok; wasn't as attentive as I would have liked. Had to call him over several times for more drinks or water instead of him coming around and checking in on us. To his defense, it was a very busy night. The coffees are very good and there is a good vibe to the place. Main drawback are the desserts. My friends and I stopped by after dinner because the cafe seemed to have a great variety of desserts. The spot doubles as a restaurant with additional seating in the back where you can order entrees. There were so many options for desserts and they all looked so delicious. We ended up grabbing two desserts: the Opera and Fruit Napoleon. Our server was really nice and quickly got our order together. They were both delicious! The Opera was very rich and decadent but not super sweet, which I liked. The Fruit Napoleon was refreshing because of the berries (blackberry and strawberry) and cream. It was flaky and creamy and really delicious! We all shared the two desserts and I feel like it was enough for 4 people with leftovers. I paired my dessert with a Brown Sugar Oatmilk Freddo Espresso, which was strong and really good. It wasn't very sweet but it wasn't bitter either so it paired well with the desserts for balance. Overall, this was a great spot with a good variety of desserts for a decent price. It's a NO for me moving forward. I honestly dont know if there's been a change in management or what, things have definitely gone downhill. I went today to pick up 5 slices of cake and 1 slice of pound cake. The 1 star is for the pound cake it was tolerable. Upon arrival the customer service was HORRIBLE no one acknowledged me, as if the restaurant was crowded in which it wasn't (not a problem). I visited for good cake honestly, and not customer service but let's just say I was not wanted there . The chocolate cake all 3 slices purchased were dry and stale to me, the cheesecake slices also had a funny taste as though they were not freshly baked . Very disappointing, but such is life . Ok don't know where to start but outside decorations beautiful looks like a oasis however that's where it ends. Employees seem like they don't want to be there if you get lucky they will answer the phone ALWAYS puts you on hold says one minute sometimes says five but doesn't come back even after 8-10 minutes later then you call back no answer. Then you troop out there to make the trip and employees aren't even doing much unsure why they cannot answer the phones as if it's on purpose and I'm not talking about during busy hours I'm talking about weekdays 11-12-1 o clock and when you get there they are not welcoming at all makes you feel like you are bothering them ... then when you ask them about the different types of black cakes (clearly I can see they' all some kinda chocolate cake) however, their answer is chocolate cake. That's another chocolate cake then after purchasing. I looked up on my receipt and they were not just another chocolate cake. They actually had a name to it and a very distinct description and different flavors in that slice that had I known prior to purchasing an 8.50 cake slice I would've not got it; they should put some signs of the cake names so we can research for ourselves if it's such a bother to the employees. Then there is the chocolate fudge cake I ordered omg where do I begin bread was stale and hard the frosting seemed same level as store bought Betty Crocker frosting. The cost was NOT cheap the writing on the cake was underwhelming. Very disappointed with my experience rather go further down to Bell and go to Martha's. We came here solely for drinks and desert so it hit that avenue very well! The part that is really lacking is service! The waiter was very attentive when greeting us as we sat down, taking our order and then delivering it! Beyond that, she did not come by not once to check on us, and after 1.5 hours, I asked her for the check, which then took her abort 10-15 minutes to get it to me and then processed! Overall, I was thinking it might be shortage of staff but I did see many staff so that may or may not be it!
